For its location, if this hotel got a upgrade, fixed some stuff and remodel, then I believe it would bring in some business for the owners. Out dated, run down, holes in the top blanket, clean microwave and fridge in room. Friendly housekeepers and office, but again the hotel can really use a remodel.

Well this place doesn’t read room one reserves. Given a room on 3rd floor and AC wasn’t working. Went down to get this Derrick working office and gave us another room. Remote had no batteries and AC wasn’t working properly either. In the process of going to another room following this guy. The floor was cracked and uneven that I ended up falling. Ended up hitting my right cheek, my right hand, busted lip and my right knee scratched up. A lady walking by was more concerned if I was ok other than this guy. He just looked at me and continued walking. So when I went back down to address the bad situation from rooms and letting him know he could be held reliable in covering any medical expenses if my condition would get worst. No safety or caution signs anywhere. I was recording him as I spoke and he said he was refunding my money cause I was giving him trouble. Not once did I yell at him. Just brought situation to his attention and getting room different from what we reserved. Mind you I paid with card so you have to wait 2 days to receive it. It didn’t take me 2 days to get hurt. Did find another hotel 100% better. Watch when booking online. Pictures are not at all what they have one believing place is..

My stay was one of the worst I have ever experienced. There was a person under the influence of drugs screaming day and night right next to my room, and several others drinking and using drugs on the stairs. The facilities themselves require massive improvement; for instance, the back door leading to the small balcony had no lock, and the stairs are practically falling apart, with several old, loose planks. The only redeeming aspects of this place were the air conditioning, the shower, and its proximity to the beach. If you have children or are traveling as a family, think twice: this hotel is not family-friendly; it is, quite simply, too dangerous.

Room had an ocean view and covered parking. The sliding glass door leading to the valcony looked like it had been broken in to multiple time and it didnt lock at all. Air conditioning worked as well as the heater. The orginal room we booked we couldnt get the door to open, even the manager couldnt get it opened so we got moved. There were some guest that were outside and yelling profanities until wee hours of the night that did wake us up. We just needed a place to lay our head because we got rained out camping so it served its purpose. The front desk guy that checked us in was phenomenal and very kind.

The pictures look nothing like the actual hotel. The outside is falling apart. The inside looks decent aside from run down walls that were painted over. Days and weeks old dust in corners. The air conditioning, while good, is in questionable maintenance condition. The view, nonetheless, is good. The bathroom works. Provisions are minimal. Tho the staff is friendly and tentative.

It was okay for the price no complaints staff was nice tv, fridge, water worked, some of the lightbulbs were out but overall it was worth the price.

AVOID THIS SH:TSHOW - Terrible hotel. Should be condemned and destroyed. Worst condition I’ve ever seen. And I frequently stay in “cheap” hotels all over the world. This one is even intolerable for me. Do not stay here. You will regret it if you do, no matter how low the price.

The view in the AM was really good, AC was good, the chair cut my leg but over all good. The hotel was in walking distance from the beach and if you like to walk it was close to two other restaurants and the aquarium and the Lexington

Had a good view of the ocean, the staff was vary friendly and polite, the property its self wasn't at all great mainly the bathroom and bedding and wall sockets, there where several holes in patches in the bathroom, and the carpets where coming up and barely held down with duct tape, the door to the bathroom was broken and we struggled to open and close it, shower pressure was also really weak. The bedding was fine beside all crazy amounts of holes in them and the wall sockets only 1 worked and it was quite frustrating. 4/10 I would have happily payed the extra 20-30 bucks from the other hotels around if I knew this would be my experience. Hopefully this saves someone from the same experience.

This motel was almost comically bad: fixtures were missing or loose, nearly every piece of fabric in the room had at least one hole in it, every surface needed painting or retouching, the wifi kept going in and out. I was looking for a cheap place to stay, and I got what I paid for.

Room was great, only problem was that all my lights didn't work just one lamp and the restroom light but other than that everything was great! Beds were comfy, blankets were cozy, bath water was warm, and the ocean view it's so beautiful. I'll come back once I have a chance

When walked into room you got hit by cigarette smoke.The bed spread hat at least 20 cigarette holes in it.We turned around and left.They smell was awful.We were surprised to have an nonsmoking room.It’s time for new bedspreads.

Toilet didn’t flush unless you took the tank lid off and used your hand to reach into the tank flush mechanism. The room smelled like a pack of wet dogs were the prior guests. The balcony door did not lock and didn’t seal (major draft). Balcony curtain had holes, as did the bed blanket—from visible, charred cigarette burns (the dogs must have nodded off with their cigs still lit). The room was absolutely filthy. Disgusting on a whole new level. I knew it was off-season cheap, but had no idea it would be that bad. Was able to cancel reservation and get a refund. The heating worked. I was able to see the ocean from a distance. But, damn.

Sliding door was falling apart, restroom was extremely small.. its an old building and is falling apart, bring your blankets and dont trust any hotel comforter.. however... The host was very nice, ac got real cold and when the sun rises.. the bay is right there. Open the broken sliding door and the breeze finds you. Definely might feel unsafe but we had no priblems for 2 nights. Super cheap and location is perfect. We came to play baseball and fish.. perfect spot to do both.

The balcony view is always scenic. The staff is less than acceptable except the person who signed me in hw was Polite however didn't seem to care that my stuff had been gone through and someone went into my room and left the balcony doors unlocked. Also the bed were hard. I've been staying here off and on for 10 years I've never been so disgusted with s motel.

You get what you pay for, pool was the best feature and it was still mid at best.

The ac did not work in room. Called manager he saidbturn it to fan for 15 minutes then turn backnon to cool and it would work..did that and still hot..he didnt even off us another room..we were brought a fan at like 9 at night but still too hot to sleep

The AC, bed, and view from the balcony were very nice. However, the ice machine was broken. The coffee machine was broken. There were holes in the bedspreads. Also, the curtains were falling off, and both door locks were broken. Bathroom was pretty nasty and the shower was for somebody who is about 5 feet tall. The clerk was nice enough to refund our second night so we went somewhere else. This motel has the potential to be a great place to stay super close to the beach with just a few simple updates.

Where to begin , First of all the rooms are nasty!!! There was roaches crawling everywhere. The carpet peeling up , None but one outlet worked . Toilet barely flushed!!!Safety door lock was broke !! Balcony door wouldn’t close !! Room dark because only one lamp had a bulb !!! And it smelled really bad

Toilet over clogged they never send someone to unclogged it they gave me a plunger light stop work that night shower curtain is torn Curtain is hanging and has a hole falling off no coffee and too many steps walking up .. miss advertises say bottle shampoo and conditioner it was a per package very little in it

There was nothing good about our stay. The only clean thing was the inside of the fridge and microwave. And that was probably because consumming food in the dirty room would make you seriously ill.

Walking distance to the beach is about the best thing I can say for the place other than it having Central AC. Beware of everything else in the room.

The beds were clean, the very, very, very thin towels were clean, the mattress was comfortable. Over all experience was disappointing very, very, disappointing. What ever I paid was way too much. The pool area was dangerous, wheelchair lift broken, the pole and it was rusting, lounge chairs broken. Very disappointing stay!

I do not generally do reviews, but this one deserves something. First off, a man called asking what time we would be arriving. When I told him between 10 and 11 p.m., he told me we should go somewhere else as he only had two rooms left. I told him that I've had these reservations for two months and I intended on staying there. When we arrived at 10:30 p.m., we were tired and yucky from the beach. The doors didn't shut properly, the tub didn't drain, the bathroom door was held together with screws, there were electrical wires sticking out of the wall, the mirror had fallen off the wall and was just stood up on the counter, carpet was coming lose, drywall patches were not finished, curtains barely hanging on, holes in the blankets, the AC almost worked adequately, and so much more. Expedia should disallow this property and its owners from listing. I will say, though, that the sheets were so crisp they still had fold creases on them.

The Knights Inn Corpus Christi was clean and accommodating. My family and I had a lovley view of the ocean.

These photos were taken when we first walked in. Location was convenient. Our vehicle stayed parked and we walked everywhere. Area is safe. But the rooms are really rundown. Could really use a big update. I guess you get what you paid for. Too good of a price to expect anything better.

If you want luxury building this isn't the place for you but if you want to set outside with the ocean right there. It's pouring nt on.

This is a cheap beachside motel and for the price is well worth it, we were able to walk to the beach and all of North Beach activities, the staff were courteous and helpful.

My adult and teen child were harassed and stalked by another guest to the point of them having to call the police and the perp was arrested! In our 2nd room, The beds were comfortable, it didn't smell "as" bad, and it was cleaner, although still sub-par. The pool looked nice. Hotel is a 5-minute walk to North Beach. Very close to the USS Lexington. Staff was kind.

Well my stay was okay only thing is they need to update their stairs and the bathroom but overall I think the whole building of Knights Inn needs to be updated/remodel....

It is a great hotel for the price. If you are staying for vacation i give it 4 star but i was there for work so I give it a 2 lol

Room had a bad dog smell. Bed sheets had cigarette burns in them . Curtains had huge holes. Carpet was sticky . Bath tube had hair and a lot of paint chips . Toilet paper was more than half used and no other roll left . Gnats coming from sink . Towels had stains on them . Pool was dirty. No do not disturb sign . Had clothes on bed and came back to room bed made and clothes on bed … thought they aren’t to touch personal items . Card to room deactivated like 3 times .

Lots of great reviews that i didnot experience. Bathroom light was out, i asked 3 times if they can fix it. Nobody came to even loon at it. Dead roaches on the floor. I would not stay here again.

I liked the location I could easily travel to Portland or towards S Padre Island Dr within 10-20 mins. North Beach was just a walk away the Parking was close and the ac and hot water worked great The biggest factor in staying here was the price. What I didn’t like was the cleanliness of the rooms the carpet felt dirty and just from getting out the shower and walking to your clothes on the bed would dirty your feet the color scheme felt outdated we rented multi rooms and some had the chain locks ours didn’t the microwave was dirty some of the lights didn’t work nor the plugs the balcony windows didn’t lock and the rr was small for a person 5’ 7 you would need to bend to wash your hair because the shower head was so low even for the price of the hotel all and all I would not recommend staying here even though the price is great it just didn’t feel worth it when after leaving you feel like you need to burn everything you brought with you.

We didn't expect it to be fancy and it wasn't. The beds were clean and comfortable. The view was great. We walked to the beach which was basically right out back. The room smelled like old cigarette smoke. The bathroom was clean. The pool was clean and we didn't use it but it was open. There were no bugs or any sign of bugs.

It was a hotel room than I thought it was going to be. It’s bright and clean. Great water view on North Beach. Close to lots of things to do and good restaurants are near by. Better hotel room of the same rate rooms that I’ve stayed in. Front desk staff was pleasant upon check in.

Lock on the sliding door was falling off plug power plug in sink area was not functional quilts on the bed had holes in them. All doors were very hard to close front door. Had to be pushed by two people to get thing to lock.

Room was warm, didn’t have a remote I waited hours til I was able to use the t.v. The man came to check the room annd said it’s ok not hot and brought back a box fan. The room thermostat read 80.

Property needs a lot of repairs room size is extremely small the bathroom was almost unusable air conditioning is way out of date. There is water that is standing in front of the property in mosquitoes will eat you alive. Hotel staff was very friendly though.

First off all as soon as u walk in there’s no light switch .. there’s a hole exposing the wires.. the bed debut was all full off holes visible to the eye and the curtains were hanging halfway .. The toilet flushed every other use.. The poool area was dirty and landscapers were cutting the yard while people were in the pool flying grass everywhere.. The stairs to the 3 rd floor were so wobble very dangerous for some people .. it was a short notice trip so I booked but never AGAIN will I stay there ..

Beautiful view. Room poorly kept, sheets did not fit bed cigerate burns on comforter in a non smoking room. Room on top floor a/c could not keep up with heat outside.

The sheets were ripped on both beds. I asked for a non smoking room and the room smelled like someone had been smoking. I also asked for an ocean view and we could not see the ocean. A\C was not working well. The RR was colder then the room. Sliding door was hard to open to go into the Balcany.

The clerk mixed up our room with other guest which they had access to our room. The room itself was horrid, the wall was swollen, the main door knob was loose, the sliding door for the porch was broken and to top it all off their were bedbugs on the bed. When i went to complain the clerk and she was nowhere to be found. So we dipped even though there was no refunds. DONT COME HERE

The stairs to the third floor are even. Two of the risers are at a different height than the others, creating a tripping hazard. There are three wall scones in the room. Only one has a light bulb cover. One wall scones didn't work at all. The maintenance looks like someone did it with their eyes closed. There are gaps in paint and caulking. The sliding glass door to.the balcony barely locked and there was no weatherstripping. The kicker was the missing smoke.detector. I don't know what Expedia can do about this; but if you're not disabled and need a cheap place to stay. This is it. At least the bed was comfy and the hot water was incredible.

Not worth the price of $153 for 2 nights The rooms are filthy the carpet smells and will make your feet black ..the restroom toilet didn't work..the carpet in front if bathroom was soaked upon arrival... I have stayed in hundreds if hotels.this one was top five of dusty ..room had roaches..the front door was missing dead bolt lock the balcony had huge board rattling on the wall with nails as though going to fall with all the wind..the view was very nice especially in tye morning sunrise over the ocean the bedding had animal n human hair n stains n cigarette holes...jus a walk to beach was great n view thats it

Beat up but the view is good. The place is pretty nasty, I couldn’t sleep at all and felt itchy from the bedding (I’ve never been itchy from fabric in my life). We had some crackheads above us that banged and partied literally all night, we left at 8am and they were still on the balcony drinking being loud.

If all your looking for is a cheap place to lay your head, it's ok. Very outdated. Holes in walls. Bathroom door wouldn't shut. Balcony door was hard to open. One discolored chair on balcony. Desk chair cushion filled with holes. Don't walk barefoot on carpet, your feet will be black. When I booked online, the pics showed a kitchenette. Our room only had a mic and small frig. Now we did like that there is a private balcony and you can see the bay. The pool is nicer than some. The bed was comfortable. No bugs. Outlets worked. The staff was nice

This place was the worst experience ever. Let me start by when we got our room and the ac was not working. Then switched to another room which had a bad Ac as well and it was leaking all over with an infestation of German roachs coming out the picture frames and the head board. Showed the manager the video of the infestation they put us back in the same room we were in and didn’t wanna reimburse us for our 2 rooms for 2 nights. Worst experience with the pool as well there was trash all in the pool.

The staff was good. The price was great, but it’s very run down down. Many lights didn’t work. The door to the patio and bathroom were prettty difficult to open and close. The carpet was so dirty your feet would be black after walking on it after your shower. The bedding has holes. The people above us and next to us were noisy well past midnight.
