Room was clean but there was hardly any water pressure in the shower. The A/C barely worked on high and the pool was dirty.

Breakfast was not the best. The room smelled like mildew and we had blood on our blanket.

Front staff was fantastic! It was a great size room. Only part that needs improvement is that the shower didn’t feel like much water pressure but still give it a great rating especially for the price. Would stay again.

We had a wonderful time during our stay here; everything was spotless, and the woman at the front desk was incredibly friendly and accommodating. We also loved the happy hour they offer, and the breakfast was fantastic. If I'm in the area again, I will surely return.

The bed coverings were stained with dark possibly saliva. Breakfast server questioned me about condiments already being empty.

Entertainment was limited to just tv channels. The room was okay clean but towels didn’t appear bright or newish. Also, I stayed there for 4 nights and there was 1 wash cloth, 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel.

The breakfast offered a minimal choices and the service person wasn't aware that food was almost empty, no paper plates, no napkins, with people coming in constantly.

The staff were courteous and room was clean and the bed and pillows were very comfortable.

When opening the door of the room, we immediately smelled mildew. The bathroom, surprisingly, DID NOT smell like mildew though.

The Hotel is dated, but everything is in good order. The accessible room is not up to date. There were no rails near the toilet, and there was no chair for the shower. Otherwise, the room was good.

Housekeeping service no clean room

Room had an awful musty smell that nauseated me. I told the front desk and she said she would let maintenance know and that was it. I smelled like carpet had been wet and molded

Other than third world low water pressure and poor lighting, the room was ok. No coffee in the lobby area. The bed was comfortable, but the A/C was difficult to adjust.

I accidently booked on for the wrong night. Went in to change it. The front desk lady said it was moved. Checked in the next day and said they needed a card on file. After i checked out i was charged 134 from the Hotel on top of Expedia charging me 152 already. So i qas charged basically for two nights instead of one

When we arrived the front desk staff was too busy on their phone to notice us for a bit and we were the only ones in the lobby. The room was large but smelled horribly like mildew. It was clean. The whole hotel was. I was pleased that a staff member called earlier in the morning to confirm my reservation. However, what SHOULD have been mentioned was the pool being out of order. I would have not stayed!! I was so excited to be able to cool off after a long hot day of working outside. Just to be told it needed an inspection and we could not use it. Breakfast was decent, but weird that efforts aren’t made to keep things cool like milk, cream cheese. All in all, it was highly overpriced for the undesirable experience.

Our sheets where dirty 😕 staff gave us new sheets for us to undo the bed and put on ourselves.

I love the smell of bleach when I stay at a hotel. I feel like it's clean. Didn't get that here. Not saying it was dirty by any means, but you know what I mean.

The room smelt like mold or something nasty. The curtains were dirty. The bed sheets were dirty. There was a false eyelash glued to the chair. Not clean. Food was good tho. Close to Walmart and restraints but far from beach. Wouldn’t recommend or stay again. Staff also seemed annoyed to even be there.

Matthew was awesome. Handled our reservations quickly and efficiently. We had several rooms reserved for many family members who were coming into the area for a funeral. We asked Matthew if it would be ok to feed a large group of family members that evening in the breakfast dining area. He not only allowed us use of the facility but provided plates and cups as well. Great guy. Assisted with all our needs and made BW the best place to stay in calallen.

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Hot breakfast could have been hotter some days. Very pleasant stay.

It is a very nice hotel. We arrived on a Saturday and left on Tuesday. The only problem is that the room was not cleaned up every day. I had to get new towels twice. I did ask the front desk for new towels on Monday and when we came back from a funeral everything was good as when we checked in.

We stayed for five nights. The hotel was pretty clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. I was a little disappointed that the pool was not open for it was hot and a dip in the pool would have been nice. The breakfast was good but choices were the same every day. We would stay there again if we were to be in the area again.

Decided to spend the night in town visiting family, pulled out the hotel app, quickly found a hotel close by that had good reviews & pictures, picked the room, exceeded my expectations, staff was polite and accommodating, asked for extra blankets & towels, had no problems at all. Wonderful breakfest bar, great to feed 3 kids and wife. Will stay again when visiting family.

Room had a stench musty smell

It was an ok experience. We found a little roach on one of the beds. And then to top it off I was called after check out asking if we took 2 pillows. Why would I want their damn pillows.

Me & my buddy stayed 3 nights for a couple concerts. Our room was very musky & smelt like mold. They moved us to another room that didn't smell like mold for the next two nights which was a relief. We took a dip in the pool & immediately our eyes burned, meaning the water was either full of pee or they put too much cleaning product in it. Felt nasty hot. Breakfast was ok. Everything that was packaged was good. Wouldn't recommend for families. Borderline guys trip. It was bearable.

We had an enjoyable stay. All of the employees were kind and helpful. Bed was a little uncomfortable though.

The hotel room smelled moldy. We had to move rooms because the TV was not working. There were weird bugs crawling in the bathroom and walls of our room. The girl who checked us in was very rude and not welcoming at all. Would not recommend staying there ever.

All I can say is absolutely horrible! Had to switch rooms bc first room smelled like mildew!!! Second room wasn’t much better. And bathroom filthy with algae and mold on bath mat! Shower head continually dripped. Had the free breakfast one morning and found 2 hairs in the eggs. We were so happy we only had to be there 2 nights!!! Don’t even consider it. U WILL be sorry!!

I found this to be a basic 2 or 3 star hotel. Staff were super nice and the room was clean. The bath mat had been bleached but had mold stains, so I didn't use it, instead a towel in the tub to keep from slipping. The towels and wash clothes were dingy and some were stringy, definitely need replacing. I would stay again bc of location, staff and it was clean.

The bedding was dirty. It had the previous person's bodily fluids till on it. When we reported it to the office they just gave us new sheets and didn't even offer to change the bedding for us or give a refund. Housekeeping and management is not professional.

Nice location and good breakfast. Stayed 5 nights but unable to attend the happy hour. The place was decorated really nice for Christmas. Staff very friendly. The one thing that I did not like was the old style very low toilet. A bit of road noise from hiway out front. If I return I would ask for a rear facing room.

This property was nice and clean. Continental breakfast and area was great, food and drinks well prepared. Rooms were great also. The property was close to Robstown and also Corpus Christi 15 - 20 minutes either way which was very convenient. Lots of shopping stores and restaurants very close by. This hotel will be our go to when visiting family!!

Hotel allowed 18 wheelers to park for weeks at a time taking up parking and then staff would complain about where you parked when the lot is full. Complain that 18 wheelers were taking up half the parking and staff did nothing about it.

Was close to my daughter's home. Full breakfast was good but powdered eggs were a bit off. No live bugs seen. Quiet. Back door entry needed a complete sidewalk walkway to parking lot. Sidewalk ended and there was grass and dirt to walk across to get to car in side lot. Hard to roll luggage over curb into dirt. Sloping sidewalk at very end had bush overgrowth covering it and made it unusable. Did mention it to front desk when I checked out.

Smell was not fresh. Curtains were stained and lighting was very dim.

The breakfast was good. Pool was awesome ?. Out side area was clean. The bath tub was dirty and had a hair in it... And carpet was smelling like dirty water.

We killed 9 roaches the air-conditioning was ful of mold and then we told the front desk they did nothing about it. I hope we didn't have any extra passengers on the way home. The breakfast was tasteless. Beds were uncomfortable.

There was no bedding for the pull out sofa. When I went downstairs and asked for bedding the first night, they didn’t have any pillows or bedding. They gave me 2 sheets and the room was freezing with just a sheet. We also left with a several bites on our body and itchy skin.

The staff was friendly and as helpful as they could be in the situation. The room was not worth the price of the stay the rooms smelled like sewer and was offered air freshener for the smell. One of the worst stays I've ever had.

Breakfast was great every morning. With a party of 5, free hot breakfast is always a must. BW did not disappoint. Houskeeping cleaned our room well, and my valuable things were left just as i had placed them. My kids enjoyed the pool everyday, the pool was nice and there is a covered patio section with grills should one want to use them. Staff was always friendly, accommodating and helpful. Beds were comfy. Guest laundry was clean and in good order which was super helpful to get sand out of our beach-towels and swim suits before heading home. We would stay here again for sure.

Desk attendant was not very friendly. Maintenance man was very nice and helpful. Hotel hard to find and very noisy. It was a hassle returning to the hotel at night. Pool was nice and grounds were nice.

Didn't like that there was a musty smell in the room that made my nose get stuffed up.

The curtains in the shower had mold growing on them. The bed had a few cigarette burns & the room smelled of cigarettes when I arrived. The price of my stay was not at all what it should have been for the condition I received the room. It was an uncomfortable shower & sleep. I felt like I was sleeping next to the previous occupant.

Open arrival after checking in the room was hot so we turned on the ac and went to dinner came back 1 hour later and it was still hot. Desk clerk was no help said no other rooms available to move to. Finally after 4 hours was some what cooler. Next day same thing this time different clerk moved us rooms. Was cool and a lot better. Shouldn’t of taken this long to move us. Very disappointing. Would not recommend due to 1st clerk not doing their job.

The location was great and easy to get to. The room was very clean but it had a musty odor. The breakfast had a good variety and very delicious.

We stayed at this hotel in March, and enjoyed the hotel, location, and accessibility that we stayed again this month (November). The staff are nice, friendly, and super helpful. Our room was clean and perfectly prepared upon our arrival at 3:15 (check in started at 3).

The lady was very nice at front desk. The room smelled horrible. Things on floor. Did not feel safe at all. When I checked in police had people in handcuffs outside. Every outside trash can was full. Seemed like a drugging hotel in a bad area.

The layout of the hotel is clean, cool, and spacious when you walk in. As soon as we went upstairs towards our room though, we noticed the hallway was very hot and stuffy. Our room was also hot and while we were able to get the room cooler over time, it wasn't cool enough at night and we wish we hadn't paid in advance so we could have switched hotels for the rest of our stay. The bathroom had hair around the tub but the rest of the room was clean. The next day, the room wasn't cleaned like requested and the front desk wasn't concerned, nor did we get to speak to a manager for compensation. We had to call twice to get more towels. There was trash in the hallways waiting to be picked up that evening so there might have been other rooms that weren't serviced either. We didn't eat the free breakfast while we were there so can't comment on that experience. Definitely don't recommend staying here for a family trip. Perhaps if you were on the road and just needed a place to stop for the night. Good location as it's right off the interstate and next to several restaurants and Walmart.

We only reserved one night. However, we were treated so well, the pool was awesome, the front desk clerk Martin was so kind and professional. I would highly recommend this place!

The hotel location is very convenient and directly accessible from U.S. 77. The property is extremely neat and well maintained. The rooms are tastefully decorated and the surroundings are quiet and beautiful.

Hotel was clean with a friendly staff . Excellent location and great nightly rate.

The breakfast was good, the hotel was hot though. In the room even with the AC on it was hot. I also broke out with a rash. I did some exercises in the room and from the contact my body had with the carpet I broke out with whelts on my arms, stomch and legs. The employee also charged me my room even though I had booked and paid online. The nicest thing was the employee who was an older woman in charge of the breakfast, she kept checking to make sure the buffet style was not empty.

I cannot say enough GOOD things about this hotel! My husband and our two kids took an impromptu trip down to Corpus, and we just needed a decently priced CLEAN place to stay. This hotel far exceeded our expectations. Safe, clean, friendly - everything you would want for your family. Easy check in and out, even though we checked in at 1am! For the price - you CANNOT beat this place!
