What a beautiful place! Very clean and staff is amazing! 5 min walk to beach and is located in a perfect spot for local food places. We will be staying here again in the future!!

Friendly staff and very cute hotel. We loved the breakfast, the vintage elevator, and the large room. We loved that we never even used our cars once we checked in because it is walking distance to everything. They even contacted me that I left some items and offered to ship them to me. Wow!

This hotel was great. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Location is perfect. Room and property was very clean, welcoming and comfortable.

Boutique hotel right in the heart of Coronado. Very walkable with restaurants and shops close by. And best of all the beach is one block away.

We stayed in room 303. We only had one issue with the room. The AC makes constant clicking sound whenever it is on and it is ON the whole time we were there . It would’ve been a 5 stars stay. We would definitely stay here again in the future. Maybe not room 303 unless they have it fixed . Highly recommended this boutique hotel !

Wonderful hotel! Clean rooms, friendly staff and close to so many fun activities and great shops. This is the second time we have stayed at Marisol and it won’t be our last!

Parking was not a problem as we found parking nearby but we didn’t need to use the car as we could walk everywhere. Shopping and restaurants are close by. Only one thing could have made the experience flawless. The restroom door didn’t offer much privacy. It was a sliding barn door that stayed open a bit.

They did not like the idea that we had service even though i spoke to manager prior on showing . Their welcoming is very poor instead of perhaps saying to welcome to the Marisol hotel. They said we dont see notes from manger, by then i was livid and I didn't say much...i didnt want them to ruin our stay and now that im back i will let the manager and all our friend s and family, do not book with them Ever!!!

The hotel is very stylishly decorated, offers a continental breakfast with delicious pastries plus free deckchairs and umbrella for a day at the beach. There’s also a lovely courtyard to enjoy some outdoor space. I can’t fault this hotel and will definitely return the next time I’m in Coronado. Amazing value for money.

There was supposed to be a complimentary glass of Champaign in the room but that was missing and not provided. The hotel breakfast did not even have bread , toaster milk nor cereals which even in a two star motel you can get these items. The staff however were super nice specially the housekeeping people. Too expensive for the poor quality of breakfast and amenities in the room.

We walked 3 miles along the beach one morning and saw other hotel guests borrowing beach chairs and beach cruisers. As for parking, it was very easy to find spots in the adjacent neighborhood. This was so quaint! Exactly what we were looking for. Amazing bedding, perfect location. The only reason for 4 vs 5 stars is that the heater took forever to turn on and the front desk person wasn’t the most helpful when we asked about it.

Ideal location on Coronado situated on a quiet street just off the main boulevard with restaurants, coffee shops and a short walk to the beach, to the Del, down the strand to the Naval Base and the dog park. Staff was attentive and hospitable. Property was clean and rooms are spacious.

We loved the hotel Marisol! It was conveniently located close to dining and shopping in the area. The beach is just minutes away and the hotel provided beach chairs for us. The breakfast was just perfect to start our day with croissants, yogurt, fruit, coffee and fresh juice. The staff were all super friendly and they provided excellent dinner suggestions.

The fact that they have no parking is kind of a big deal. We spent so much time driving around looking for parking. If you don't have a car or are taking Uber for trips, then no problem.

The property is beautiful and very close to Coronado Beach and restaurants. The bed is luxurious. The staff is warm and welcoming. Cookies are available in the afternoon. The lovely continental breakfast can be taken on the patio. Excellent!

Have booked a king room but got a queen sized bed (Rm 101) instead . The lady who helped me check-in did mention the complimentary champagne, but then she was interrupted by someone else at the gate so no champagne in the end. The room at the end of the isle on the first floor had not enough daylight if you didn’t turn on all the lights. But there was only one switch for all the recessed lights so it was quite inconvenient when someone was sleeping and you only needed a little bit of lighting. It did have a very small window by the bedside but due to privacy I kept it shut day and night because the passers-by could see or hear almost everything from the courtyard. Parking was a little tricky during the day (only two hours parking in front of the building) but no problem for the night. Not sure if I will stay again but just try to avoid the first floor if possible.

We had a great stay at Hotel Marisol. Feels like a B&B, very homey and steps from all that Coronado offers. Parking can be a challenge as there’s no dedicated parking lot. We had no issues finding a spot nearby

Room was very small and the morning after our second night we were awoken by the fire alarms going off for over 30 minutes because of a false alarm. There was no apology about that, or effort to reimburse us for a crappy night’s sleep. The one major plus is the location of the hotel. Also you have to find your own parking in the neighborhood.

Rooms are smaller than we expected and they are not cheap! there's no iron for those who need it. Small hotel within walking distance to Beach, restaurants, convenient store right across the street! No parking, but we lucked up and parked in front, only for two days! Not sure we'll stay again, unless we get a suite, but it's a nice hotel!

Parking is a big problem. You're lucky to find any free parking at all, everywhere is 2 hour limit. So you're constantly having to move your car.

Hotel Marisol is a quaint boutique hotel close to everything. The room was very clean, had a comfortable bed and pillows and plenty of storage. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The bathroom was small but efficient. There is no dedicated hotel parking but there is street parking. (Tip: just move your car to a closer parking spot in the evening when they open up.). The continental breakfast was nice and enjoyable to sit in the courtyard. Coronado is a place we visit a few times a year and we will be back.

My sister and I love our stay at Hotel Marisol. The hotel was beautiful and our room was as pictured and felt very nice. All the staff we interacted with were so friendly. The breakfast had a couple gluten free muffins so we were able to eat a little something and get coffee. The only thing we didn’t care for was that the bathroom door just rolls across the doorway (barn door style) so it didn’t feel like there was very much privacy. It doesn’t warrant a decreased rating for this, but worth a mention. Overall, superb stay and would definitely come again! Perfect location too!

Beautiful hotel and the location can’t be beat! Very close to Orange Ave. where there are plenty of options for dining and shopping. Very close to the beach as well! My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in Coronado and we will definitely visit again soon.

This hotel is perfect for someone that wants to walk to plenty of the restaurants in Coronado and have a really nice room size. It was quiet and very clean. There isnt any parking or major amenities, but the continental breakfast was nice. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is just okay. The rooms are fine, the windows are old and my first room the window didn't close properly. Bed was comfortable but the bathroom door is really inadequate in terms of noise insulation. Breakfast is pathetic, better to eat somewhere else then have a collection of plastic wrapped baked goods.

This was my second time staying at Hotel Marisol. It is a little gem...from the sweet staff who help with everything and set a gorgeous continental breakfast every morning to the location near the shops, restaurants, and beach, it is perfection! Also love riding bikes and they have plenty to grab and go for free! Will be staying here again!

We had a wonderful 4 day stay at this cute little boutique hotel conveniently located a few blocks from the beach. The beds were very comfortable and there was a continental breakfast included. They also offered bikes, beach chairs and towels for free. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. We will definitely being staying there again!

The staff was helpful and friendly. We enjoyed the nice breakfast choices and used the garden sitting area twice to visit with family. The room was comfortable, clean and pleasantly decorated. We’ve found our hotel when in Coronado!

An all around pleasant experience. The staff was very attentive, the room excellent, breakfast fantastic, location easily accessible and quiet. Parking was the only downfall.

Nice smells

Lovely quiet area, large room and comfortable bed. The bath was very nice. My complaints: (1) the sofa bed was half-made for my daughter, there was just a quilt without a cover. (2) The room allocated to us faced the roof where the aircon units were, so we could not open the blinds (unsightly) nor windows (very noisy). This was disappointing since I am an Expedia Gold member and I didn't feel that I was treated as one.

Quiet and personable.

We liked the small and friendly atmosphere. We did not like the old elevator that when used by a guest would wake us up at night. It was quire loud in our room.

This is a very cute, clean and charming boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Coronado. It’s about 2 blocks from the beach and a short walk to Hotel Del Coronado. The hotel offers a plentiful continental breakfast every morning, as well as bikes and beach towels. The hotel is across the street from a liquor store and deli which was great for grabbing sandwiches for a picnic and for quick trips to get bottled water. I would say the only downfall to this property was the parking (there isn’t any) and the frosted glass barn door on the bathroom (not ideal for privacy in a small hotel room). Overall, it was lovely and the location is ideal.

We were warmly greeted by Ida in a lovely foyer with brightly colored fresh flowers who had everything set for our stay. Room was quiet and elegant. Fresh fruit and hot coffee awaited us each morning. Hotel is within easy walking distance of shops and the beach. They offered complimentary beach accessories which we used :) Katie took care of our bags after checkout while we soaked up a little bit more sun. Our only regret is not staying longer. I suspect we will return. Special shout out to Ida and Katie for their warm smile and generous spirit.

This was our second time staying here, and we love it! Everything is clean and comfortable and quiet. The staff is very nice. The extra touches like bikes, breakfast, afternoon cookies, chocolate on the bed from housecleaning, and more makes me look forward to coming back again.

I would definitely stay here again.

The hotel only has 15 rooms. I loved that I felt like we were the only family there. Loved the patio for our light breakfast. It was the perfect location for us. Walking distance to the beach.
