Comfort Inn & Suites Coralville - Iowa City near Iowa River Landing

pretty good stay, nice breakfast and very helpful stsff

First night, TV not working, but front desk person gave us new batteries for the TC remote which resolved the issue…continental free breakfast was fair and no variety to choose from and the scrambled eggs seemed like not traditional cooked scrambled eggs, but microwaveable cooked. The sausage links seemed microwaved as well plus no other meat selection or change up for following morning’s breakfast. The parking lot was very small and not in very clean area near other hotels. We likely will not be returning to this hotel in the future, but the hotel is close to Coral Ridge mall around 5 min away which was convenient.

The room wasn't ready and the condition of the room in itself was poor. Overall, it was a good value room to stay at.

This property is OLD and in desperate need of updating. The place smells old, the carpets were dirty, the elevator was old and scary. The room looked and smelled terrible. Floors in the bathroom were rotting behind the toilet and shower from obvious water damage. The room smelled musty and old. The curtains were different lengths and hardly worked properly. The entire hair dryer and the base unit came off the wall. The towel bar in the vanity fell when you took a towel down. The bedding is old and snagged. The pillows are so small and very cheap. No way was I walking in the room without shoes. The carpet was gross. And the pool area smelled moldy and looked out of date. Not stepping foot in there. Didn’t try the food at breakfast because the facility was not clean. We made it through the night and got the hell out of there.

Room was decent. No issues Back door was unsecured. Easy to let riff raff in.

Pleasant and helpful staff throughout a 12-night stay on family business (funeral, etc.). Very good bed and linens, consistently good breakfast every day, clean bathroom and shower (more towel bars/hooks would be nice), quiet most of the time. Convenient parking. Public areas could be cleaner. A guest washer & drier would be nice, but there's a good 24-hour laundromat nearby. Pleased to see fire sprinklers everywhere, a safety feature every hotel & motel should have. Definitely a no-frills place, but it served our purpose well and we would stay there again.

We did not use the pool, but it looked decent The room was dirty. There was a wet/sticky spot on the rug. Garbage behind the television. Dirt streaks on the sheets and shower curtain. The towels were stiff and scratchy. The room smelled dirty. The clerk ran into computer issues with myself and two other clients. I will have to make sure that I was not charged for anything

As I entered my room it was very musty and stunk. I cut the air on and left for a few hours and it kinda helped. I was justb travelling through but would not stay here again if i were to come back.

Nothing Stains on the floors, dirty, musty, marijuana smell in halls, flea on my leg when I walked out of the room.
