The pool was clean and beautiful - we really enjoyed our swim. Breakfast was ok - plenty to eat both hot and cold but we did observe a ton of fruit flies near the bread station. The room and hallway looked run down as it is older and hasn’t been updated. The sheets were clean and the a/c was cold. The bathroom was not super clean - needed sweeping and the drain of the shower was full of hair and yuck. We didn’t spend a ton of time in the building - mostly just to sleep - so we felt we got what we paid for. All members of staff we encountered were friendly and helpful.

Overall old property and dirty carpet in the halls. Outlet on the wall was loose and bathroom ceiling fan was falling apart. The door was repaired incorrectly and I had to use my body weight to close it. Would not recommend. I guess there is a newer la Quinta down the road. This one is probably on its way out.

I was put a room that smelled like urine. When I went to the front desk about it I was asked if I have a pet because the floor I was on was for guest with pets. It was awful my guests were sick the next few days. Do not stay at this hotel. It run down and not well maintained.

The check in took about 1/2 hr, there was no room available so they obliged me and gave me a suite. The suite or I should say what they call a suite was a big open space with a couch tv, desk. The kitchen has an oven that was so filthy i was expecting or scared of seeing insects ( which to be fair I didn’t) the bedding was clean. The floor felt damp and smell moldy. The front desk person was obnoxious and rude, because he was unable to find a room for me. He spoke to whom he referred to was his boss i stood there while he tended to about 4 different patrons. I believe this hotel needs the authorities to visit. I have pictures for proof.

DO NOT EVER COME HERE!!!! I made a two-night reservation with my cat, who is my certified emotional support animal. I arrived with my family, and the rooms were filthy, the closets were in disarray, the shower was flooding, everything smelled like urine in the hallways and everywhere else. When I checked in, they charged me $50 for my cat even though I presented my support certificate, and according to the reservation (see photo), there shouldn’t have been a charge. The receptionist was unfriendly; she answered every question rudely. Additionally, you have to go to the front desk to reactivate your key card every time you leave the room. Staying here is a real nightmare; there’s no Wi-Fi, not even if you pay for it.

COCKROACHES in my room. I’ve ever experienced that in my life. And not palmetto Florida bugs. Kitchen roaches. Rotting food in the hallways that stayed there from Saturday to Tuesday. Floors are all stained disgustingly. Felt like a third world country , not America. Rude manager who offered 25 percent off ONE night stay. 25 dollars for living with roaches ? Insulting , and a joke. He didn’t even call back after I complained with the front desk, I had to call. He had attitude in his voice. Place stunk!!! Grossest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. People screaming and fighting at all hours of the night. One room had an alarm clock ringing for 3 days straight. Worst hotel experience of my life. Please never bring your family here.

Room was clean and bed was most comfortable I've slept in in awhile, but You have to pay for the WiFi and the breakfast had hardly any options. Went to McDonald's instead. The hallway carpet had stains everywhere and my door was not on the hinges right, so I had to pull and close it with excessive force to open/close the door. Ice machines were out of order on every floor. Tv was nice quality though. Would not stay again.

The grounds are unkempt, as in leaves all over the parking lot, cracked cement from tree roots, potholes, dirty. The reception area is nice enough, but it stinks like old urine inside the rooms, and on the second floor by the vending machines. Just filthy. The vending machines do not work well at all, either. It ate my money and I had to go back to the desk and get the tool to fish it out myself. Room 102 was disgusting to out it lightly. It stunk so bad in there that I had to re wash all of the clothes I bought in the suitcase because the air coming out of the AC was rancid. There was a huge stain on that area old, stinky carpet right where you get up off the bed, the sheets were pilled beyond belief, the pillows were very lumpy and not comfortable. The bathroom was really nasty. Mold in the extremely tiny shower, old, OLD faucet that was either too hot or too cold, constant drips from the faucet, all of the corners between the walls and the floor had crumbled away and had dirt in them, and when I awoke on the second day of my 4 night stay, the toilet had leaked all over the floor in the bathroom. That’s when I packed up. The girl with the pink hair was very understanding and refunded me for the rest of my stay. Usually all LaQuintas have a stellar breakfast…not this one. Worst hotel ever. I can still smell it. Rancid

The property is old and is in need of an update. There appears to be black mold on the rim of the sinks and in the showers. The lighting is dim, and overall just feels rundown. The hotel boasts itself as pet-friendly, however, there's a sign in the lobby that states pets may not be left in the room unattended. This didn't affect my stay, but I imagine it could affect others. Something else to note was the fact that I was sent up to a room that belonged to someone else. Within 15 minutes of my alerting the front desk of this, they had sent another guest to the same occupied room that I was originally sent to. Finally, the hotel boasts 'Premium Channels' in regard to the tv. There was no menu on the tv, no way to figure out what was on without going through the 50+ channels, no way to pay for upgraded movies, and no way to stream on the tv. Seemed very antiquated. This was the least of my worries, but seems worth noting for future guests knowledge. Overall, the property left a 'bit to be desired'.

A hole. Desperate need of renovation. The lobby entry appears modern and clean but the remainder of the building is dated, unkept and unacceptable. We weren’t expecting anything luxurious, was a quick overnight, sleep and shower for us. our room door would not open and close without effort, the bathroom shower rod fixture was not secure and the bathroom door was taped together to secure the handle/cover missing pieces. No water pressure in the shower. The furniture in the room was busted, broken and ancient. The musty smell was nauseating. Hallway floors were stained and filthy. Bed was comfortable and breakfast was fine. Wouldn’t recommend even for a quick overnight. Highly disappointed. Minimal interaction with staff but check in/check out was easy. Didn’t check out the pool so can’t speak to its cleanliness/use.

I had to find somewhere to stay last minute. The rooms/walls are dirty, the carpet on the floor is filthy. I had to call for a room change because I felt something crawling on me while I was in the bed and upon checking there were multiple bed bugs crawling in the bed under the covers and pillow and some yellow and black bugs crawling around the seal of the refrigerator. Are the other room that I was given was not much better it just felt a little bit less funky.

For a LaQuinta, I was expecting a much better experience. In all fairness the beds were comfortable and clean but from the minute you walked in you could tell that there was much need for a deep cleaning and updating. Carpets throughout were disgusting, ceiling in bath had been patched and looked like it would fall down, caulkng around sink was all pealed away..everwhere you looked you could see room for improvement and better maintenance. I would not recommend this hotel.

Roaches in the bathroom, an unrecognizable smell on entering the room, a terrible breakfast, all in a rundown hotel. The deadbolt on my door did not work, and there was a hole where the lock should be. I have video and pics of the door and locks for reference if needed. I left one day early due to the weather in the northeast, and after all of that, I could not get a refund for the one night unused.

there was someone in our room when we got there and they couldn't give us a room so we were stranded. when we finally got in the room the next night they didn't change the sheets they just retucked them and picked up the trash that was left. the room smelled like a mixture of dog pee and smoke. the front desk people were fantastic but the hotel itself lacks everything. it was smelly and there was trash stacked up outside and inside. 0/10 would not recommend. we are waiting for an email from the manager of the hotel so we can discuss the problems but are not expecting one.

The amenities of the hotel were also poor. When we arrived at 2:00 am, the trash can was completely full, and when we checked out the next morning, it was even more full. Nobody (the staff) care for this property. The dirty floor and unpleasant smell made the property unlivable. My family and I strongly advise against staying at this hotel. There are better options nearby at a similar price or even better.

Hotel is filthy. Carpets are full of stains, lamps that are supposed to be on the wall are on top of the nightstands. I pulled my 7 man crew out after one night and put them in an house. I wish I could post all the pictures I have. Don't believe any of the reviews claiming that this place is clean. They have to be fake.

The building in general was beyond out dated. The room hallway floors were nasty. The floors had the look of someone working on cars. The bathroom had mildew everywhere. The shower knob fell off because it was broken. It is obvious that no one from the La Quinta corporation has come to view the conditions of this building with their name. The outside looked just as bad as the inside. This place was not well kept at all.

Problems were handled expeditiously with the slow bathroom tub drain and light bulbs being replaced in the bedroom…Front Desk staff was courteous with a packed house. Improvement: Address some of the issues from the photos posted by other customers. View from 318 on to lower roof of the banquet rooms showed huge amount of trash and appeared to be what we have seen.

Saying this hotel is a dump is being nice. It’s shocking that this is a Wyndham associated property and as Bonvoy members we expected Wyndham standard Clean room every 3 days unless you ask yet on mirror says they change sheets and towels daily Had to return old towels to front desk to get fresh ones ourselves after 2 days Day 1 Room next door sports team running up and down the hallway, slamming doors all evening went to complain at the front desk. Eventually, the front desk agent came up and did a tour of the floor, but the noise continued until my husband had to go out and actually speak to them in the hallway and tell them to keep it down Day 2 We discussed it with the front desk and they basically said there’s nothing they can do at the time and they offered to cancel our reservation if we didn’t want to deal with it. They advised us they knew the coaches number but they were not staying here with the team ? Who lets minors stay at a hotel unsupervised and un chaperoned? Room itself is very rundown and as soon as you get off the elevator, the stench of stale carpet and marijuana hit you in the face. Rooms are very out of date, which can be seen by the peeling plaster on the ceiling, which is cracked and feels like it’s gonna fall in at any moment. The bathtub clearly has been painted at sometime and paint is actually peeling off the bathtub.. our feet actually turned black on the bottom from walking around on the floor.

The staff was very pleasant and hospitable. The breakfast was pleasant with great options. The common areas were clean as in free of debri and trash. The actual building could use some modifications like new paint , modern decor colors, even just changing from yellow to white could spruce up the hotel as it has a dim gloomy aura, power washing to get rid of visible grime build up. The room was a nice size however the bedding had hair throughout the pillows and sheets, the carpet was stained and the balcony floor was crumpled along with torn window screens. The wall behind the bed appeared to be peeling off/ damaged. Yes you get what you pay for , it was ideal for an emergency stay but honestly not the best representation of a Wyndham property. If your expectations are needing of somewhere to crash for a night you will survive….

Absolutely disgusting! Old, outdated, filthy, with poor front desk & cleaning services. A putrid incessant stench of body fluids, homeless body odor, and old ashtray. Hair & mold in the tub. Filthy carpet and a door with a dried clump of hair on it. We stayed at another hotel for 1 of the 3 nights, and found that one of our belongings was missing. Thank God we took most of our things with us for that 1 night. Also, the elevator had the same garbage in it for the 3 days we were there. Looks like cleaning isn't a priority. Our recommendation is, do not book here. You will feel sick from the stench & it will ruin your sleep. Lastly, front desk was apathetic and wearing black jeans, black t-shirt and a black beanie hat. Absolutely no professionalism or integrity with this hotel except for the breakfast host. He was very friendly.

This facility is a pet-friendly facility, which in this case means, according to staff, that all rooms have had pet in them at one time or another. We were first assigned a room on the second floor. This floor smelt like a dog kennel and the room next door had a dog that started barking as we approached our door. We asked to be relocated and this request was granted. The room on the third floor was reasonable.

One particular front desk clerk with hair dyed red, at checkout was obnoxious, rude and completely unaccomodating. On inquiring of her about the luggage trolley, she nonchalantly responded the the guests had them.in their rooms abd she haf no intention of foing anything to retrieve them. When I asked what other resources were available to cart my luggage downstairs, she promptly msde me know it was my problem. Then she proceeded to call her manager abd lied that I cursed at her.

The room was horrible. Worst experience i have ever had. The room smelled like cigarettes and wet dog upon entering. There was human pubic hair on the bed closest to the door. The toilet seat was broken and held on by one screw. There were cobwebs in every corner of the room. The light switch as soon as you enter the room was broken which prevented us from shutting off the light which kept me up all night. It was the worst night i have ever had in any hotel. The only reason i even stood after all that is because it was 2am and i did not want to look for another hotel at that time. I would never stay there again. As you enter through the rickety front doors into the lobby to check in and then onto an old elevator that moves aggressively and is quite loud. In the room, the bathtub has dirty old edging, and hardly felt like something I would feel comfortable using. But don’t worry, I’m just here to sleep, right? Well at about 2:30 in the morning, I’m woken by the mini fridge making a clinking noise. I go over and unplug the mini fridge and try to get back to sleep. No big deal, right? Well, this is then followed by the air conditioner starting to make a sound like a pressure washer is moving through it. Don’t worry because at least the pillow feels like an actual sack of potatoes. Lumps in it the size of mini footballs. Like truly, and honestly, these pillows have to be several decades old. Trims, caulk, and paint all tiered or coming off, the list goes on. I’m just saying, this hotel is very clearly either unable or unwilling to even put in basic maintenance and minimal comfort necessities to run appropriately. The breakfast was good, and the pool looked decent so I want to be fair, so I gave two stars.

When I entered my assigned room, there was a strong moldy odor. I reported this to the front desk and was given a different room; however, the second room also had an unpleasant smell, appeared unclean, had curtains that were falling off, and there was a visible leak. Due to these conditions, I made the decision to check out and secure accommodations at another hotel. I was surprised to find that the Marriott offered a lower nightly rate. Despite checking out approximately three hours after checking in and not staying overnight, my credit card was still charged for the full night. Based on this experience, I cannot recommend this hotel to guests who are seeking a clean and well-maintained environment.

Filthy!!! The hallways, elevator, outside the elevator look like they have never been cleaned. Our bathroom floor was dirty. The staff were wonderful and to be honest we were there for the death of our nephew and we were emotionally tired and didn't want to deal with it. I am surprised they have not been shut down for filth.

Very old facility. Dirty hallways, stained carpets, Bad smells. Room was very 'tired' and years past needed updates. Upon inspecting the beds, the bedsheets had small hairs on it evident of not being changed recently since prior guests so that was last straw and we departed without staying. It is concerning that there are so many 10/10 exceptional rated reviews on the site as it is lightyears away from exceptional...5/10 would be a stretch....make sure to scroll down to the low reviews as i neglected to do that...i agree whole heartedly with the sub 6 reviews. Had i saw those reviews, i would not have reserved. The 10/10 would seem to be paid reviews of some sort. We left immediately but still trying to recover our two day payment but part of the problem is we are far away and busy and booked originally via third party. If you go, it is cheaper, but maintain low expectations. the front desk people were friendly so that garners my 4/10 rating

However, there was an order in the hallway, and although I did stay for four nights, I was told the rooms get cleaned once every three days and they change the sheets & towels everyday. It was very dirty here. There were multiple white large stains on the carpet. The toilet was endlessly running and sometimes would not flush. There was an old wet smell to the room. There was also cockroaches in the bathroom and I did not feel uncomfortable leaving my toiletries in there. The air conditioner was also quite loud making it difficult to sleep. Would definitely not stay here again.

As soon as I walked into the hotel I could smell moldy carpet. When I got up to my room the door was so swollen. I had to lean my whole body weight in order for the door to open and again for the door to close. I developed a severe cough in the four nights that I was there because of the mold it's growing in the humidity and the wetness of the room. It's a health hazard in the hotel should be shut down. The breakfast room smelled so unappealing I couldn't even dare to bear to be in there. Go at your own risk

I understand this is not an high end hotel but they can still do better. The room was semi clean. The carpet in the hallways was funky. The towels had hair and stains, pillow case was stained. The roll of toilet paper was wet and when I took it off the stain along the entire edge was 1” thick and was yellow. I was truly disgusted. I carefully took it down to the front desk and the rep was just as disgusted and said she’s a tell the manager. Well no one contacted me to apologize or offer me any consolation. If I could’ve checked into a more decent hotel I sure would have! Trust me, I was looking! I t was told afterwards from a friend this hotel chai was a hit or miss and this was certainly a HUGE MISS! I am currently in house at this hotel and I would not recommend for anyone who is well traveled, experienced or appreciate decency. Most of The front desk team sucks and seems they have no hospitality training, Especially the lady that works overnight! The black lady was the most pleasant. Everyone that I came in contact with, whether over the phone or in person, had poor attitudes, stank faces and responded rudely, not just to me but also to others as I stood by awaiting assistance. The room that I have is terribly maintained and needs updating. When I checked in, there was hair Everywhere! On the bed sheets, the bathroom towels and even on the floor, as if it was not cleaned before distribution. The bed is hard, the rug has a foul odor and the tub is all chipped up and clogged after a 10 minute shower. I had to clean my room after check in and spray a whole can of Lysol to begin to feel comfortable. The Pool is dirty & poorly maintained. Breakfast has been the exact same for 3 days but it was okay. Despite them saying no smoking, people were smoking on several balconies and everywhere you walk, from lobby to 5th floor, there’s stench of cigarette or weed smoke clogging your nostrils. Honestly, I stayed here out of convenience for a conference but it is not at all worth the money. It is time to begin holding these companies accountable. I didn’t book a 5 star hotel but at best, I thought i had booked at least a 3. Very Disappointing

The hotels were extremely unclean, the bathroom in the room was disgusting, the carpet had a foul odor and was incredibly filthy. I was moved from one room to another and they were all equally unpleasant. No individual should have to lodge in such conditions. The toilet's water tank cover did not fit properly, causing a dreadful experience, and there were bed bugs infesting the bed.

No one was there to do check in at . I called the direct hotel phone number to see if anybody working would hear it and come answer. Nope. At least 20 minutes before she showed up. Meanwhile about 8 people accumulated in the lobby. Some to check in, some to request a refund bc the room was so gross they refused to stay. Your employee on 11/21 is TRUE PROFESSIONAL. She deserves a raise. Our room was impeccably clean. It smelled super clean. However, the hallway is disgusting and has mold. It's visible and smells foul. Carpets need replacing, 5 years ago. The floor by the vending/ice machine was bus-station dirty. The breakfast is pretty good. They order some of the hot breakfast elsewhere, they have a little sign that says so. I don't understand why they don't remodel this place. The LOCATION is the redeeming factor of this hotel. Just like the lobby got remodeled, spend on remodeling the rest of the hotel. Have a manager available. Don't leave ONE employee to deal with the night shift and on top of that not address things during the day that she can't solve. Either clean the rooms properly or don't count on that room for the night. I want to see this hotel be successful. Coral Springs is a wonderful city and staying here has many perks like being in a super safe area, but still only be 15 mins from the beach, Sawgrass Mills, and all the major roads to Miami and Ft Laud. I use this hotel 3x a year for family visits.

The worst part was the housekeeping experience. Even though I had a confirmed late checkout, the housekeeper banged loudly on my door twice, rushing me to leave. It was so aggressive both times that it startled me. The attitude was rude and completely unnecessary, especially given my scheduled late checkout. Overall, I wouldn’t stay here again and would not recommend this location.

The property itself, the carpets, the tubs, it’s all so very outdated. That hotel is the most pathetically outdated that I have seen in Florida. The is no excuse why the company has start updating this place. It looks like it’s from the 80s

The room was average. The bed was very clean and comfortable, and very quiet. Did not care much for the bathroom. Not much hot water , the water was warm Not hot. Staff was ok. Did not see very meny staff at all. Front desk was mostly abandoned.

Ownership is taking every dollar possible and not putting a dime back in. Horrible property that they should be embarrassed to present. Walls and trim are beat, exposed patch and spackle everywhere, dilapidated furniture, stained carpet. Disgraceful.

This establishment is very, very, very dated. So much so that the room smelled as is no one had stayed in it since the 90s. The only structural updates were the TVs and the door access cards. It's not that the facilities were extremely dirty, you could just tell that the staff was doing as best they could with what they have. The AC unit had an old man huff and snore type of breath rhythm and the bed had a divet the size of a small creater. I was worried our clothes and things were going to smell of old newspaper when we left. The previous reviews for this hotel are not nearly accurate. To pay as much for this room was very unequal. Breakfast was exactly the same both days and was not very accommodating. Like I said they tried. I'm grateful the staff was kind and cordial. We will not stay at another LaQuinta.

Lamps that don’t stand up straight, Cabinets that didn’t close correctly, Mirror that had a haze over it, a/c smelled musty. Parking was fine. Something had happened and had police at the entrance 2 of the 3 days there. I didn’t feel threatened, just curious. Staff was friendly, but this location needs to be remodeled

There were ants all over the desk, bugs in bed and bathroom. Room was disgusting. I ended up with bites all over me from bugs. Found roaches in the bathroom. I couldn’t even stay my second night

This hotel should not be open. It is in such deteriorated condition. The furniture is out of the early 70’s. I was shown 3 different rooms on 2 separate floors and found all to be in the same shape. The heavy musky smell of mold & mildew was overwhelming.

The walkways were slippery, the grass had not been mowed in a week or more, debris all over. Cars parked and people hanging out in the parking lot at 130 in the morning.

The hotel in itself needs to be updated. There is a strong odor because of the carpet not being cleaned correctly. In the room, there were strand of hair on the floor and the same odor of stuffiness. I only stayed one night for personal reasons. Front desk staff was kind. Breakfast was okay.

Typical 70s hotel refurbished fairly nicely. MW/Ref/Coffee pot/ iron. Full fair breakfast buffet. Largest pool in hotel industry almost 25 yds. Above average for under $100 hotel. Then they called me day before I had scheduled checkout and said you have 40 min to leave. I had no clean clothes after staying 8 days. They do have a nice W/D that takes CCs.( $3.50/$3.00). Manager who extended my reservation was called but said he had no memory of me! No paper receipt given. They ended up extending my room one more day after a lot of arguing with clerk with no personality.

Our room had so many stains my daughter didn't even want to stay there. The hallway carpets had large bleach and black stains. Not sure if the black stains were mold or just dirt. Hallways also smelled very mildewy. Terrible property.

Bad vibes from the evening front desk young lady and the daytime front desk young lady. It felt like as if they came from the back office in a bad mood. I just checked out from the hotel and asked the young lady for a receipt.. She gave me a very bad look and then printed out a blank sheet of paper. My wife was in shock. I had told my wife I guess the front desk staff were in very bad moods the last 15 hours.

The emergency exit was locked, and the only way down to the lobby was in the elevator. The front staff could not answer whether the water was filtered and there is a. “ don’t drink the tapwater order.” from the city of coal Springs. Therefore, we weren’t sure if it was OK to drink the water in the lobby. No other offers of Water other than Denny in the machine which I prefer just regular spring water. The room itself is clean, but the hallway in the lobby bathrooms were slightly dingy. Overall, it was an OK experience.

The shower was the equivalent to an eye dropper. We called maintenance who rigged it so it was passable but told us "whatever you do, don't touch it". Like it would fall apart. He said he had encountered this problem before, several times. Apparently, changing rooms to one with a shower that worked properly wasn't an option? Won't stay again.

During my recent stay, I encountered a frustrating issue with my room. The security latch which had been engaged by my grandson inside the room would not allow me entry, despite the absence of maintenance personnel and the front desk’s inability to have the necessary tool to open the security latch, (At a $18.00 cost online on Amazon). The front desk was unable to contact nearby hotels to inquire about their availability of this tool in order to borrow this tool. During a prior trip at another hotel the same thing happened but they contacted nearby hotels and were able to borrow one. I’m grateful they did go the extra mile to help. Consequently, I was locked out of my room for three hours, from midnight to 3:00 AM. Fortunately, my grandson, who is known for being a sound sleeper, eventually woke up and granted me access to the room. To prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future, I strongly recommend that La Quinta management purchase the necessary tool from Amazon and make it readily available at the front desk. I believe that this is not an isolated incident, and I am confident that other guests may have encountered similar problems. It may be beneficial for the front desk staff to become familiar with the other hotels in the area. Normally I’ve not had any issues with my stays at La Quinta in fact I joined there membership during this trip anticipating future stays at this locations and others I travel to. This incident had a simple fix.

The property is old and in need of some updates (reinvestment). Plumbing fixtures showed signs of calcification and many small leaks, need updating. Need air freshener in the A/C system, especially the elevators smelled a little musty all the time, probably from swimmer usage. All-in-all a pretty nice old facility just needing some TLC.
