Excelente hotel. For us it was a staycation. Excellent location, food, ambiance, and the staff the best!

We had a great time at the Thesis hotel! The property is very nice overall, and well maintained. I think what really stood out was the helpful and kind staff at this hotel! Every front desk employee was very friendly and helpful when questions came up. The concierge Fernando was especially incredible! His enthusiasm and recommendations are a huge part of what made our visit great. He helped us find local spots we never would have known about with our own research, including unique beach experiences, restaurants, live music and dancing. He also worked his magic to get us a last minute reservation at the acclaimed restaurant Zitz Sum, which was such a unique dining experience. He remembered small details about our interests, and tailored his ideas for us accordingly. His expertise was game-changing, and he's a big part of why I would recommend Thesis to others.

Very nice and clean, it was in the perfect location for what we came for. The staff was wonderful and gave us great family fun recommendations since we came with our 2 year old. It’s very expensive and it wasn’t their fault but the weather didn’t allow us to use the pool area which was a bummer!

Very nice property.

The staff was attentive, and the room service was great.

Nada especial sona complicada para lo básico de un día normal.

Great hotel!

No breakfast included and a $20 spending but drinks are $20 on rooftop. For the cost, there should be a guest room for changing when you stay after checkout but there is not. I would never stay there for that cost , in the middle of nowhere , but I was t there to see my son at UMiami. Guess that’s the hook.

AWFUL !!!! NOT A HOTEL / THIS IS A COLLEGE DORM Everything about this trip was underwhelming, and disappointing. the attitude of the front desk, the long waits for the elevators ( because the staff uses the same as the guests so elevator always busy ) and in general staff seemed to be annoyed by having to do their job. Check in was told I have to pay $39 for self parking. I questioned it and was then told told maybe i can park across the street but she "didn't know the details" of that, Isn't it her job to know? *btw it was free, But the true worst of all is that no one told me this hotel doubles as long term housing / Dorms for UM. So picture dozens of partying, :LOUD, smelly college kids everywhere , smoking weed, cursing and acting "young" .I love the youth so not a hater just think this should be disclosed so I don't end up with my 6 y/o and feeling uncomfortable like what happened here. what my wife hated the most about this place was that try to mask the funk of the college students with a scent in the lobby that she described is "disgusting" and seemed to make my daughter cough every time we were in the lobby, When i asked to see the safety sheets on the it they said they don't have it how do you not have any safety sheets on what you are putting into the air for me and my family to involuntarily consume? The pool was ok but too small and overall i feel taken advantage of by this experience. Great location AWFUL STAY! My wife didn't sleep for 2 nights, DISAPPOINTING

We got there a bit early and decided to have lunch at the Collab. It’s a great-looking restaurant, and the food was good once it arrived, but the wait was long enough that we could’ve left, found another restaurant, eaten, and still beaten our original order back to the table. There was a private party going on, and it was pretty clear the staff was overwhelmed. They were very nice about it and comped the meal, which was appreciated, but not exactly the warm welcome you hope for. Once we got to the rooms, things didn’t improve much. The bathtub was dirty and appeared to be filled with pubic hair, which is not a detail anyone wants to confirm in person. The towel also had a stain that I made a conscious decision not to investigate. The overnight parking situation also deserves a mention. You can only park on one side of the garage on the third floor, and finding the entrance felt like a scavenger hunt with no clues. It drove my husband absolutely insane. Lastly, the pool situation is a bit misleading. The photos make it look like there are two pools, but the larger one is actually for the residences next door and not available to hotel guests. So technically there are two pools—you just can’t use the better one.

Gorgeous place to stay with wonderful staff experience
- 4/5
Nice hotel although not as walkable as I thought it would be. Also, we booked for one of their restaurants on open table only to find out when we arrived they were closed. We would have gone off property had we know but by the time we found out it was too late to figure out where to dine next. Mamey their other restaurant is beautiful but dining selection is limited. Would likely stay somewhere closer to a walkable area in Coral Gables.
- 5/5
Great rooftop pool, good parking, and excellent service.
- 3/5
Food and restaurants were good. Breakfast servers superb. Front desk said Laundry would go out to be cleaned/washed and was forgotten. Check in was fine. Pool was clean just too small and shallow for swimming. Also some chairs that are seat chairs with a table would be very helpful as opposed to all very low lounge chairs.

Amazing! I will definately return.

Literally nothing. The room fell through for the BRIDE and GROOM on their wedding night. And no one contacted me to let me know. Everything about the experience was terrible

Enjoyed my stay at this property. Everything was clean and all of the staff were very friendly. Pool chair pads need to be updated though. They looked and felt like deflated air mattresses.

Location was across from University of Miami So far it was good.

Location. 1. Parking wasn’t free. 2. Toilet only flushed sometimes. 3. Shower head was a joke. 4. Room was too small. 5. Food was so so. 6. Price was ridiculous for this hotel. I should have stayed at a different hotel. There are lots of them to choose from, but the ratings swayed me.

The location was the best. We were there for the graduation at UM. Breakfast was good. I was super appreciative that the hotel front desk person was able to retrieve and hold my husband's phone that was accidentally left on the lobby couch when we left the hotel. The room was efficiently laid out, neat, clean and tidy. The service & happy hour at the Mamey restaurant in the hotel was great. The ambience of both the Ivy and Mamey were very relaxing and inviting. I have an electric car and there was some significant charges for leaving the car in the electric charging station while not charging, which we would not have known had we not gone with the valet to the charging station to see the actual notices of charges. We had to go with the valet to the charging station so that we would know the location of the car to move it once charging was completed to avoid the unnecessary charges for leaving the car in the charging spot. Given the price of the hotel, I would not have expected that.

Location 2nd floor gets all the smoke from the restaurant grill...fills the hallway and all the rooms...when I mentioned it to the staff...they laughed at me. I had originally requested a higher level floor.....no comment.. Working..alone sat in empty restaurant waited 37 minutes for waiter to NEVER come back with complimentary drink to to take my order which was going to include a bottle of wine as we had discussed...he was focused on his only other table in the entire restaurant that was paying the bill... Note most singles do Not go out to eat alone for exactly this reason...they Staff only care about their potential tip...and had no care to worry or care of the atmosphere I was experiencing....which was completely ignoring me....there was nothing on the menu that was even tempting...I just wanted a friendly staff for nice service with a smile after a 12 hr day at the hospital...the longer I sat...and he would not even make eye contact..the more pissed off I got...then at 33 minutes into to this time frame when the Only other table in the entire restaurant got up to leave...I still sat there...even without any water...still or otherwise...for another 14 minutes....and then I was just done...got up and walked out...past three others on waite staff....who said absolutely nothing to me like I was invisible.....that was what was the worst part....like I did not even exist....and the manager whom I asked for to speak with for the next 3 days....called me the day I checked out....and wants me to come stay with them again.....would you? Like I never even existed....wow....

Could not have breakfast, too crowded
- 5/5
The breakfast was remarkable and very unique with a variety of options for adults and kids to enjoy
- 5/5
Everything was 10/10. Our room was spacious and highly recommend to everyone.
- 3.5/5
The property is pretty but ‘off the beaten track’. Nothing walkable near by. The courtyard was nice to sit out but nothing special. Its location not near anything commercial. If you don’t have a car/rental it’s Uber to everything and those take time to get there - again since it’s not near anything.
- 5/5
Check in process was seamless. Help with luggage when Uber pulled up. Food has been amazing and worked it off at the small but mighty gym. Staff had been welcoming and helpful. Room is clean and styled nicely.
- 4/5
There were some cockroach in the room
- 5/5
Very beautiful hotel and staff is really fri3bdly. Loved everybit. Rooms are spacious and restaurant had decent options for breakfast.

BEST Hotel experience ever. I loved every day I stayed. Staff was so friendly and warm.

Stuff was so rude this morning and the lost my car key for 30 minutes and I did not feel respected or treated good.

Really special place. As a higher star hotel it is a bit more expensive, but I was blown away by the staff, the food, and the place. The rooms are big, the staff are super helpful and chill, and I even accidentally got a free foot massage - although I meant to ask for a tub to soak my feet in. There's also a lot of really great breakfast options and dinner options that are both heavy/light, lots of good cocktails, and it's pretty close to my office and the airport meaning most ubers/taxis are 20-30 bucks. I really can't recommend this hotel enough and I hope I get to stay here again!

Hotel was very clean. Staff was pleasant. And the surrounding neighborhood was beautiful

Water for room was not replenished daily
- 2/5
room tv wasn't working and staff didn't know how to fixed and didn't followed up on the issue. I was really disappointed. Front desk Lady (Ashley)shows really good impressions so I was expecting the same service from the others.
- 5/5
We visited the hotel for College touring of U Miami with our son. the staff was friendly and the rooms were very clean and very comfortable.
- 5/5
Staff was friendly- the property was neat- location was perfect.
- 2/5
The hotel looks nice and upon entering the front desk staff is polite and professional. Valet is $39/day which is pretty standard for the area. They have a mandatory $27 amenity fee. I asked and they said it gives you $20 credit at one of their restaurants which doesn’t make much sense. This fee is per day so add that to your nightly rate. If they had consciously cleaned the bathroom, it would have been a good stay.
- 1.5/5
It s right across University of Miami There was a blood stain on the mattress protector! The lady in charge very politely offered to switch us to a different room. Also, I booked a room for three (2 double beds) and there was only 1 robe… and two pairs of slippers. The slippers were obviously worn even thou those are suppose to be disposables. If they want to save the environment, just don’t offer them. Also, in booking it say the breakfast is included… they give you a $10 voucher… (see menu prices). Customer service was excellent, but the whole experience definitively not worth $300 a night! And a totally visible blood stain at the head of the bed, inadmissible!
- 3.5/5
The location and the rooms The party in the pool area Saturday night
- 5/5
An issue we had was a very loud band and party between th two buildings. We complained because they were still going past midnight. In response they quickly apologized and offered to cover brunch the next day. Very good response and service even though the music continued for another half hour.

Always love staying here

Very basic stay. Hotel restaurants are ridiculously overpriced and room has very basic amenities. Towels are old and not soft and woke every morning early to the staff vacuuming the halls. Doors and walls are very very thin too so do not expect a good night of sleep.

Great location near the Lennar Medical Center
- 4/5
Clean rooms
- 0.5/5
Location It wasn’t that clean floors were dirty. Walls were thin and hallways very loud all night long I couldn’t sleep. Valet scratched my car in several locations. I didn’t have a good trip. Awful experience.
- 4/5
Overall, it was a beautiful, clean hotel, just could use some tips on functionality, especially for women
- 5/5
Property is maintained beautifully
- 3/5
The couch has stains all over it and the floor was not clean at all. Bring your own slippers
- 4/5
LOTS of hidden charges. Usual room cost via Expedia for 3 nights, which supposedly included all extra fees and taxes - was ~$590. After paying all the charges at check-in, I still had more to pay at check out. There was a daily “guest amenity fee” ($27/day - supposedly the charge for WiFi, exercise room, and access to free water in the lobby??), and self parking for 3 days ($36/night), which amounted to over $200 more for 3 nights!! Upfront pricing and transparency would have been helpful.
- 5/5
Great stay, lovely people!
- 5/5
Amazing hotel, good services and the rooms are very clean
- 3/5
Property is ok. Room had a smell to it. Employees not trained well. Restaurants not very good.
- 5/5
Amazing service, clean room, comfy bed, black out shades, great lighting for makeup in bathroom, exceptional service, 10/10 recommend.
- 5/5
Not a walkable area for restaurants or shopping, but the hotel was nice, with 3 dining options. We were visiting the U campus and it was an easy walk to that, but for anywhere else, you'll probably need an uber or have to get a good idea of the public transportation options.
- 5/5
Convenient
- 3/5
Front desk and bar staff were friendly and excellent Had to ask for toilet paper in my room No clean drinking glasses in my room I don’t think anyone knew how to make a bed Had to ask for the shower soap container to be filled and then it still was not done

Nice vibe, great location (we were visiting U Miami), and the staff I interacted with were all warm and helpful. I would definitely stay here again!
- 5/5
Excellent property - convenient to U Miami and the Metro
- 3/5
Overall, the property is a beautiful property with accessible restaurants close by the rooms can be a little bit more clean. A mini fragile be something to think of in the future and the television should be a smart TV as the times that we are in today is quite different.
- 4/5
Really loved the restaurant and bar there. Food was yummy!
- 5/5
Bar area has a great vibe and good hh. Love the food and the pool is a really beautiful place to spend the afternoon at. Room is comfortable and staff so friendly. We will be back!
- 3.5/5
Location is the best for visiting University of Miami Rooms are small and noisy. No refrigerator in rooms.
- 5/5
Close to where we needed to be
- 4/5
Hotel was wonderful, service was great, food was amazing. Couldn’t be more convenient to UMiami campus. Only issue was there was no storage. We only had 2 tiny drawers on the whole room. The rooms were large and comfortable with plenty of room for a dresser but there was no dresser.
- 5/5
I liked the hotel! Three onsite options to dine. All the staff were very helpful with our requests. The only thing is you don’t have anything walking distance. But overall 10/10

You don’t have to leave the property to have a really good stay.
- 5/5
The property is absolutely gorgeous. It has up to date decor, style and just a good vibe. It feels luxurious while being trendy and comfortable. Definitely upscale and a great stay. I would recommend and would go back.
- 5/5
Beautiful place, me and my wife had an amazing time here. We be coming here at least once a year.
- 5/5
I LOVED EVERYTHING about Thesis.. Felix, was AWESOME.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel.
- 2/5
The front desk wouldn't let my son check in alone, so he had to stay outside all night. My family was in a total bind as we were far away. I explained many times to the hotel and they said it wasn't there problem. I won't be using Hilton anymore.
- 5/5
Very nice, quiet with friendly staff. No hesitation for late check out, room service was delicious and FAST!
- 5/5
Everything was perfect. I will recommended to my friends
- 5/5
I happened to arrive early, and the staff said my room was ready and I was and to go in without a problem. The room and bathroom were exceptionally and perfectly clean. Everything was perfect, would definitely stay at again.
- 5/5
Very nice rooms and location
- 5/5
The hotel’s chic, contemporary design immediately sets the tone for a luxurious stay. The lobby is bright, welcoming, and impeccably clean, with thoughtful touches like hand sanitizer stations and a sundry shop stocked with local goodies. My room was spacious, impeccably maintained, and outfitted with premium bedding, a 55-inch Smart TV, and blackout drapes that ensured a restful night’s sleep. The decor, with its rich grey textures and whimsical artworks, felt both sophisticated and inviting. I opted for a room with a balcony overlooking the fountain, as recommended by previous guests, and the view was absolutely spectacular.
- 5/5
Beautiful property. Excellent staff. Rooms are super clean. Could use a bellhop or more luggage carts.
- 4/5
This Hotel is absolutely stunning!! We rented the presidential suite so the bridesmaids and the bride could get ready for the wedding. It’s a huge comfortable suite with 2 bathrooms, a dining room, living room and large kitchen with counter and a separate bedroom. The staff so efficient, very helpful and kind. My only recommendations is to have a bellhop or more carts available. Parking is valet only.
- 5/5
Loved our stay there!! Staff were very nice and friendly.
- 5/5
The accommodations are enjoyable and the setting is superb, but it’s worth highlighting their frequent tendency to overcharge.
- 5/5
Good experience
- 3/5
The staff was very friendly. The outdoor patio lounge was relaxing and nice.
- 2/5
Additionally, we had reserved a king-size bed, but upon check-in, we were assigned a room with two double beds. To make matters worse, the room was only stocked with one robe and one pair of flip-flops, even though we had booked for two guests. When we contacted the front desk to request additional items, the response was disappointing. The staff member was unhelpful, informing us that no one was available to deliver the items to our room. Instead, we were told to come down to the front desk to collect them ourselves, which felt inconsiderate and unprofessional. Overall, the service was subpar and did not meet the standards I expected from a hotel of this caliber.
- 5/5
Excellent location, luxury hotel, good room
- 5/5
We enjoyed Thesis so much we added an extra night to our stay. The staff was super friendly and helpful, loved the room, on-site amenities were great.

- 3/5
Very nice hotel. The prices are all over the place and I have caught them double charging on valet -parking. They refunded the extra charge but offered nothing else other than giving me money back. No explanation why it happens or comp for trying to double charge me.
- 5/5
Very convenient to university of Miami. Friendly staff. Nice amenities.
- 3/5
Well-maintained and in a great location. Just a heads-up—this hotel is used as a college dorm for students from a nearby college, which I only found out from a college freshman during my stay. Considering the premium prices, I was surprised this wasn’t disclosed upfront. It made me uncomfortable using the amenities, especially the outdoor spaces and restaurant. I raised this concern with the hotel and asked about a possible price adjustment, but it was very difficult to get in touch with a manager, and I eventually gave up trying.
- 5/5
Excellent breakfast, beautiful pool.
- 5/5
Great hotel
- 5/5
This hotel has the style and sophistication of a European influenced hotel. The staff was great! I would definitely come back.
- 5/5
Very nice resort. Clean with s nice pool bar, Great customer service. I will visit again.
- 3/5
Love the property, but my room was not cleaned well. They also have worn towels and linens.
- 2/5
We were made welcome by the wonderful night desk check in person, who took the time to welcome us and recommend places and activities, but after her, unfortunately it was not a welcoming environment with the rest of the staff. The blow dryer was missing from our room, and I had to request one be provided. Our washroom door on rollers came unhinged while closing it and just missed my husband’s foot, and remained unhinged for two days. The elevators were ridiculously slow, and we found ourselves wasting a considerable amount of time waiting on them. I would not recommend this hotel to friends or family.
- 4/5
Had one of our best meals EVER at the Mamey restaurant.
- 3/5
It's nice, but it's starting to show wear and tear. The towels are really thin at this point, and the room didn't get cleaned. Valet service was quick, though.

Great hotel in great area!

My boyfriend and I stayed overnight for our anniversary from the other coast of Florida and we had such a wonderful time and enjoyed the hotel so much that we’ve booked two more stays in the next coming months. The staff was super friendly. The hotel felt very luxurious the rooms were very spacious, and the restaurants are amazing! This is going to be our new regular hotel. We stay at in the area.

The hotel is very nice and the restaurants in the hotel are superb.

We had a girls’ weekend here and it was a wonderful hotel! Clean, and the staff was very helpful. The restaurants are amazing (check out the poolside bar). I would stay here again!

Room comfortable I love the beds, firm. Great day.
- 5/5
Was super boujee and nice! Definitely high class
- 5/5
Can’t beat the location for visiting your UMiami students! We had our young puppy with us (trip planned before puppy) and the outside courtyard area was a great spot to enjoy a latte from Crema while feeding the puppy, with easy access to grass nearby. And lots of passers by stopping by to play helped get her energy out for solid naps. 🙂

Beautiful property, welcoming. Issue was with 'room service' . Issues of reaching them; reception didn t seem as knowledgeable about it. Menu could be expanded. Servers were helpful and friendly.

I went to Miami to get a tummy tuck and my surgeon’s office recommended the Thesis because it was close by. What a mistake. I ended up leaving early because my experience was truly THAT bad. Housekeeping would skip my room. There was blood on the bathroom floor for the entire stay (pictured). In room dining answered the phone only if you let it ring for an hour or two. It took two hours to order breakfast one day. I couldn’t order through their QR code because it was always stuck on delivery at 10pm. (Who eats lunch at 10pm?) I couldn’t leave the room because I was recovering and therefore relied on Uber Eats a lot. This became a problem with stacked up garbage bags near the door and housekeeping not coming to take it away. The shower floor was filthy in the handicap room. I wanted a clean place to recover and this wasn’t it. I kept asking housekeeping for soap since the dispenser in the bathroom ran out on day 1. A housekeeper pretended to not know English and wouldn’t fill it yet on day 3 of me asking made a phone call right in front of me to tell the front desk that I “don’t speak Spanish” and “I need handsoap. She spoke in perfect English! Upon check in, the front desk said I would receive a monetary credit for dining. On the 7th day they said “oops nevermind!” then proceeded to charge me for all the restaurant food I had been eating. They said I would get an additional one time credit through hotels.com and I never got that either. Promissory estoppel.

Nice boutique hotel! Cafe across the courtyard had great coffee and breakfast, and the pool was amazing! Will stay here again if I'm in town again!

We are visiting the University of Miami. The hotel was walking distance from the university. It’s a beautiful hotel- clean and comfortable. The restaurant onsite was delicious.

I didn’t like the noise level. You can hear everything and the staff needs to communicate better . Housekeeping said I denied service when all they did was give me towels . They don’t speak English . The rooms are very tight four people can’t stay there comfortably

My hotel room was missing a few things though; there was no soap in the shower, no safe, no closet at all, no QR code for in-room dining (although a kind man at the front desk helped print one out for me). A bit odd.

Amazing 10/10

The hotel was very loud and we were put super close to the elevator so the people coming on and off we could hear everything. The food at the restaurant onsite was incredible but I would not stay here again.
