Nice place to stay

No telephone in room. Extreme mold in bath/shower. Staff appeared more engaged in personal social events than in Customer Service.

Setting and staff were very nice Hard to get u steps. We had a terrible car accident . We were in the hospital rest of time. After 1 night asked for a refund because staying in the hospital. Desk said I’ll ask management. Then nothing.

Nothing The room was not stocked with the proper towels or wash cloths. Bathroom was full of mold. Rooms have no phones to call desk to request said items. Family lives on sites that owns it. Beds are hard as rocks. The breakfast included the choices of cold cereal, waffles or half a bagel or toast.

Nothing, absolutely nothing! Gee where do I start, hair balls on the floor, air conditioner never cooled the room past 74 and made awful cranking noise, shower curtain didn't close all the way, rust all over the bathroom, tub/shower fixtures not attached, just loose hanging, horrible cigarette smell on what was supposed to be clean sheets, pillow cases, and towels. No tissues in room. Blow dryer didn't work. Parts of the stars going up to the room had metal pieces sticking up. My husband all most tripped and fell down the stairs due to this too. Mattress was hard. A dog barked most of the night. I can go on and on with the horrible comments.

The motel sigh near the highway was turned 90 degrees from the highway and could not be read until turning into the entrance road and driving past it but still not readily visible. There was no name on the building resulting in our driving right past it. Took a guess and wanked in to ask if that was the right place. After that, all went well.

Was close to where I needed to be for the day Wasn't the cleanest, smelled like smoke even though it was smoke free. Smelled like someone smoking pot.

Check-in staff were kind but gave us a DISGUSTINGLY FILTHY room, exchanged it without fuss but unfortunately that room too was DISGUSTING! Got our money back and stayed else where.

Not many amenities, but not really expecting any for $63, so no complaints there. The bedspread had cigarette burns in it, but sheets and spread appeared to be clean, just damaged. Big complaint, there was zero hot water at 9am when I was getting ready (I tried running the water with the handle at about 15 different positions around the full rotation and nothing), water wasn’t just “not hot” it was freezing (even in May!) and could only wash my hair as a result. A minor issue, only the powers and channel up/down buttons seemed to work on the remote.

The man who checked us in was incredibly rude. We felt very unsafe. At 11:30 pm someone was repeatedly knocking on our door asking us if his wallet was in our room. The fridge, sink and shower were in poor shape. The two little cloths they provide could not be called bath towels. It was our worst motel experience.

The staff was not very welcoming at check-in or check-out. The room, beds and refrigerator were clean but the room was definitely bare bones and the beds weren't comfortable There were three towels and no washcloths. We asked for more on the third day and were told to put the dirty ones outside the door and housekeeping would provide fresh. When we came back to the hotel after a long day there were still no towels and we had to ask through a window by the front office. The gentleman on duty gave us fresh towels and washcloths. The next day housekeeping dropped off more towels, soap, TP, etc. so we actually ended up with more than we could use. Our room was supposed to be a non-smoking room but it definitely did not smell smoke free. Our stay was non-refundable or we would have tried to find somewhere else to go.

Room reeked of cigarette smoke, smoke alarm battery low kept beeping, beds were like cardboard. Would only go if it was a last resort type option.

Had to go to 3 different rooms to find one with working heat/air. Staff was courteous. Close to major highway so noise is constant in the night. Not so great neighborhood, other guests loud outside past midnight. Room clean and otherwise comfortable.

Breakfast was not served, and the night before we checked out a guy got stabbed two rooms down for me. We had to listen to him get interviewed by the police in the middle of the night for hours. I would not recommend this place at all.

The front desk was very patient and courteous with handling our group. We had to change our room to the first floor to accommodate a senior mother. The attendant did not lose her patience and got us to our rooms in good time. My room had a stench to but, but we were in a rush to get changed and to our service that we did not have time to have someone to clean it. The following day after it was cleaned it still had like a mildew smell. The bathroom needs new tile on the floor, the tub floor could use replacement, my microwave was missing, and phones did not work

Nothing I order a room for my sister and her husband. They were traveling. Which they said the can switch rooms. Since it was reserved from a third party. They switch from a none smoking room. To a smoking room. It was like a bait and switch. Never reserve a place again there.

The staff was very service oriented and made my stay go well. The AC unit in my room was not functioning and when I informed the staff they were happy to relocate me. When I tried to check out at 6 am, there was no one in the office. When calling the Inn, there was only a recording. When the call transferred to the front desk the handset was just sitting there. I waited 20 minutes and had to depart.

Our clerk was amazing, personable and helpful. I was very impressed with her, I always say the first person you meet at any establishment will determine your satisfaction. She went above and beyond ! I did not get her name, but she was on when we checked in on New Years Eve.

Convenient location for Conway. This location is only 5 minutes from where I was in Conway, it’s close to convenience stores and restaurants, and the room was comfortable. I would have given it 5 stars If the room wasn’t so hot it woke me from my sleep. And the staff was in a bad mood when she checked me in because someone had just given her a hard time right before me. Everybody has a tough day sometimes so I get it, but it did impact my check in experience.

It was adequate for the price. Room was clean, could do with additional lighting. Breakfast nook had waffle maker, yogurt, coffee, tea, bagel, bread, variety of individually packaged muffins, orange juice, creamer, cereals, banana, instant oatmeal packs. Front desk attendants were pleasant.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Riverfront Inn. While the hotel is not new, the room was very nice and the staff was very helpful. The mattresses were very comfortable. The location is excellent, just on the beach side of Conway (adjacent to Highway 501). If you want a very cost effective option, this hotel is a good choice.

Overall, the hotel was nice, service was nice, we had a good breakfast. The room was good for the price, the floor was a little sticky but it was ok. We rested and we didn't have any trouble. I will come back if i need it.

Clean linens, the floor was still kind of dirty but not to the naked eye, the shower had some mildew in it but didn’t need to use it. The knob on the sink kinda came off but still useable. For a $60/night not awful for just a bed to sleep in for the night. You get what you pay for. The staff was very nice at check in and check out

Simple hole in the wall, good place to stay! You wouldn't even know it's tucked away by the river. Simple getaway with old school smoking rooms. They even have BBQ grills & tables, right on the river.

My non smoking room mattress reeked of cigarettes. The manager swapped them out for us with another rooms so I am sure those people were gonna be happy, lol. The bathroom door didn’t shut properly and the outside door seal wasn’t there at the bottom and a nice sized bug was able to crawl in. You can tell they cleaned well though. For the price it was good.

Would not recommend. The electronic door wouldn't lock, There were roaches gnats and other bugs in the room along with mold and mildew in bathroom, leaking fridge, and dirty blankets Pictures are deceiving.. The place is filthy.

If I could give the property a zero I would I stayed with my daughter and I didn’t sleep just because it didn’t feel safe at 12:30 am the front desk and fire department came knocking on the door because the alarm kept going off they came in the room I felt so uncomfortable the lock on the door was busted the sink wasn’t draining properly the shower floor looks nasty.

Rooms were outdated but clean. Beds made and towels changed everyday. But the door to room barely locked so security is an issue. Odd ppl hanging out in the river bank ramp so again security concern. For the price I guess that is expected. But cleaning service was excellent.

The staff was nice. The room next to ours housed the owner's relatives and they sat in front of our door talking and moving around quite a bit. The room was not as clean as I like.

I liked it. Everything was clean, good bathroom, good basic amenities, no bugs, multi-locks, no complaints. The only bad thing I can say was the faint smell of cigarettes but you get what you pay for and I think the value for the money is not bad

This Property was not what I saw on website and very misleading. I checked out the very next day due to bugs, odor and just didn’t feel safe there. I believe this Place houses Homeless people or those struggling with hard times, etc. I spoke to Manager and He was very supportive of my decision to leave.

Front desk was ignoring calls and when I went to the reception, he was on his cell phone. Sink drains forever. On check out, office was locked even if it says “open” and was after 7am. I knocked several times and a guy shows up, not even opening the door. Talking to him thru the glass, he said ‘it’s ‘not ready.’ NOT recommended!!

It’s extremely basic. The receptionist Greg was very friendly. That was helpful. As a smoker, I always wondered what a smoking room was like. Now I know why they don’t allow it. The place was an example of doing the best you can of what’s left. I see the effort. But never again.

The beds ere clean but refrigerator had residue in it. Didn’t feel safe. Cops shoes up for a situation down hall. Found bug in bathroom

The place has bed bugs

Place was cleaned daily in and out and was quiet mostly. Electric plugs in the room were the biggest issue the bottom plugs were in use with lights etc but when you used the top plug the wire you plugged in always fell out.

Everything was great except no elevator and i was on the 2nd floor. I recommended this hotel to my friends from Kentucky, Georgia and Florida for their weekend stay also (about 7 rooms.

Away from the main road, right on the river, quiet and clean location, immaculate rooms. Greg at the desk is a gem!

The room was clean, lots of room it was quiet and very reasonable

After being reassigned to a new room it was very apparent that the microwave was so old it was rusted inside with most of the coating missing. The room was fairly clean but had a musty smell. Of the four pillows one had to be tossed to the side as it didn’t seem to be clean with what looked like smeared makeup. The towels smelled clean but had hair tightly twinned into the fabric. When doing a bedbug check it showed how dirty the mattress was. It was worse on the sides. The comfort of the bed was equivalent to sleeping on the floor with a thin yoga mat.

Computers were down when we got there. Worker was frazzled, but kind. Our room door didn’t lock at all. Had to use the little bar to lock us in. Room 207. Didn’t feel safe, but was clean and nice otherwise. I would add a protein to breakfast. All carbs!

Female clerks were much better. Second day went up for coffee at 7 AM to find the doors. Both locked went back about 20 minutes later. There was a mail behind the desk sitting in a chair. I went and poured some coffee took a sip only to find that the coffee was barely warm, not hot. spoke to the clerk and informed him he said OK but never tempted to get up. Look at it or change the coffee urn. We would not recommend staying at this location in the future.

The pillows and mattresses were rock hard and the floors were very dirty and made my feet black with dirt. The rooms smelled bad too. The staff though was very friendly,polite and gave immediate assistance for anything needed

There was spiders and bugs everywhere the pool was out of order and it stunk real bad I think I should be able to get some of my money back..

Great place for a basic overnight stay, price is reasonable and property is close to what I needed.

The facility smelled of mold and mildew. The room was on poor condition with damaged moulding, visible water damage, and and the door lock that didn't work. We did not feel safe staying there. We immediately left and found a cleaner, safer hotel.

Check in was fast and the employees were super nice. The rooms have been redone and overall were not bad. The shower did not drain well but everything else was just fine. Would stay again.

When we got there the room we booked did not open. When we got into the new room there were stains on the sheets and pee on the toilet seat from someone else. The floors were oily and not mopped.

The microwave was rusted I side and out. The refrigerator was rusty on the bottom. We could not stay. I was able to find another hotel, but had to cut our trip short because we could not afford a mother night at any of the hotels in the area. See pictures

On the positive side, service was good and employees were friendly. Additionally, the rate was inexpensive. However, given the condition of the property, I'd look for other options in the future.

Clerk at checkin was fantastic, gave suggestions for local restaurants. Towels were short and when asked for more after 1100pm was told i could not get more. The beds were hard and not enough pillows.

I have been charged twice for the room once by expedia 90.00 and again 66 by the hotel requested a non smoking king got a double queen tha thad definetly been smoked in coffee maker with coffee no sugar or creamer, older hotel think the woman next door may have been living there .... just an overall dissappointment i am glad it was only one night

Do not stay here. I had to check out immediately after seeing the state of the hotel room. There was hair in all the linens and bugs. Would absolutely recommend staying at the fairfield inn down the road.

This property needs some updating. The room was small, but the bathroom was big! There was no shower curtain in the tub and it drained really slow!!! Breakfast was a joke and coffee was horrible. Staff was kind.

Not a bad experience but the mattress was too firm for my liking. For the price and quick overnight stay I was happy.

The front staff personnel were great with check in and out friendly and helpful. This next is on house keeping. When sitting on side of bed, I noticed multiple coffee(?) stains on floor. I forgot my bedroom slippers, so I used a towel to shuffle across the floor. That towel should have been clean but it was filthy dirty. Could not tell looking at the floor because it is driftwood grey wood like tile strips, so it really hides the dirt. Took photos but not tech savvy to trqansfer frfom phone onto here yet.

There were a lot of people hanging around outside their rooms when I arrived but thankfully it was pretty quiet at night.

The bad part of my stay was people outside my room both nights talking loud until past midnight. It appeared to be people living out of the hotel. It felt unsafe but I didn’t have anything happen to me or my vehicle.

The lady at the front desk was very nice. She even placed us above the office for our safety. But There were ppl standing in their doorways just watching us walk in our room. It gave me a creepy vibe. Even though I prepaid for the room. We left and never returned.

It was exactly what the previous reviews stated--older type of motel buy very clean and staff very helpful and friendly. Will stay their next time visiting granddaughter at Coslal College.

Our check in went well, the clerk was very friendly and professional, we did have a bit of problem with the toilet, and found some clothes left on door, but she came and took care of it right away. The place is not new but it is clean , the mattresses a bit bumpy but tolerable. It's difficult at any hotel to be away from the putrid smell of skunk vape as I call it, I wish they would make it against rules as smoking is. Not the hotels fault I guess. It was a nice stay and our hosts very friendly. Price was right for Valentines night, and Conway is amazing as always.

I love staying with you guys. I travel there two to three weeks a month for three night stays for work. Love the lady at the front desk, she knows who she is. Only wish you had little shampoos

Check in was quick, front desk worker was nice. Breakfast is pastries, coffee and cereal because anything else don’t have any condiments or has mold and is old. Housekeeper and another lady were extremely lazy and unprofessional. I asked for a simple bed sheet change first the housekeeper just made the bed with no sheet change. I waited to see if she would change it and she just walked out the room without a second glance. I went out the door and kindly asked if she could change the sheets she said she could but she was gonna clean the checked out rooms first so I agreed. Not even two minutes go by and another lady who was not an housekeeper came to my door telling me I had to change my own sheets because “its just one worker and she has better things to do” and because I checked in the night before there was no need for a sheet change and handed me the sheets to change myself and proceeded to talk about me like I was a bully to the housekeeper. Went to the front desk to complain but was met with silence and indifference. The same one who checked me in was there and did not solve the matter or apologize for the unprofessional behavior the lady displayed. From then on I cleaned my own room the duration of my stay. There was only one time were housekeeping came knocking on my door in the 7 days I stayed there. No change in behavior at all. Have money for delivery or a car because there are no grocery stores or restaurants in walking distance.

If you’re looking for a higher end hotel that has some curb appeal and that’s what you’re used to, this is not the place. But if you only need a clean room at a cheap price you might consider staying here. You will get what you pay for. Like I said, it’s inexpensive.

The staff was in my room eating and using the bathroom when nobody was supposed to be in my room I paid an extra 20 to check in early and even waiting 2 hours before checking in. One house keeper was getting drunk had paint hanger everywhere the floor still has dust in it now

Went and asked them if they could brings us some toilet paper and the lady said the were OUT and will be able to give us some the next day. I traveled all around the country and NEVER EVER heard of such a silly thing. I told them that was NOT acceptable and then they finally gave us a roll of toilet paper.. Will never stay nor recommend them to anyone

The guy who answered said he would have the manager call this was days ago. Still no call back from anyone! I called my bank to report fraud . They are working on it. If not I will take legal action. That’s $212!!! He said it was a room charge not anything else he checked. I did no damage or anything.

Just up from the road from busy myrtle beach hussle and bussle. Looked sketchy at first. Car show (4 vehickles and homeboys with music sound off) staff was friendly and attentative. The day before I checked out there were a group of young teenage boys next door to me and they were running around the halls and slamming/knocking on their hotel room door hard. I understand they are teenagers and were probably on a trip or sports team but, they had an adult with them and that person should have been contacted about the noise.

There is nothing close to this place Food, stores. etc... ubers we kinda expensive to anywhere for anytype of fin or nightlife. if you want fish in the river next to the motel then this is your place.

The beds were very comfortable and it was quiet in our room. The room door to the outside leaked, as the sealing weatherstrip was badly worn allowing light (and potentially bugs) to come through. Convenient location to downtown historic Conway and Riverwalk.

The room was large and clean. The mattress was firm, but comfortable. It is time for them to invest in a better TV. The free breakfast was ok, but the space for eating is small - only two tables. The biggest challenge was trying to exit the side road onto 544, which is very busy and there is no traffic light.

Check-in went okay. I had to return to get my keycard reprogrammed, because it didn’t work but it was a quick process. The room was a little on the warmer side when we entered. The decor on the room was decent. As far as cleanliness, the floor definitely needed a really good mopping and there was something on the door jam that was missed when house keeping cleaned. There was a used towel hanging up behind the bathroom door and a strain of hair on the side of the tub. The room we stayed in was in this odd corner of the hotel and there wasn’t parking close to our room. When we first arrived it definitely seemed like more of a hotel for permanent residents, but the following day there were more out of town guests arriving. It’s in the odd area and doesn’t have a great view of anything. In all it was okay for passing through, but it wouldn’t be a hotel I would choose to stay for a week.

We liked everything about staying here. Good breakfast options. The only thing I would reccommend is getting a mop to mop the rooms. They are pretty dity. A swiffer would fix that right up

When I flushed the toilet, water came gushing out the back of toilet. Guest were outside my room window until 2 am smoking cigarettes and loudly talking. The smell of mold as soon as you enter .. very disappointed.

It was a good place for our conference. One thing, though, needed was an electrical sock in the bathroom.

We were unsure at first because of the activity on the grassy area nearby, but it was quiet through the night. The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Mr Laurence was the best!

It was fine, stayed our 1 night without any issues. More breakfast options would be great, like a bagel or butter for toast!! But nothing to complain about.

The bed are not soft, the covers are not heavy enough. I was super cold and my girlfriend was cold. We did turn the heat on. The tub stopler would not stay up so the tub kept catching water.

Rooms were just ok. Room 126 the TV didn't work and was not able to charge our phones at the bed stand. The pillow was dirty and soiled. The bed was ok. Alot of little things that could brushed up to make it better.

There was a policy to put down a $50 deposit. Unfortunately it had to be done in cash only. Could not put it on a credit card. My family member was told that she could go down the street to an ATM

Room was cleaner than normal, but still had areas that showed maintenance wasn’t thorough. Outside is sketchy. Front desk had a lot of issues, and breakfast wasn’t set up during advertised hours.

This place needs complete makeover . They attempted to make it comfortable but failed . The air conditioner was broken and they used bleach to cover the smoke or whatever odor they had . They had continental breakfast .

Very clean, good price & I would recommend this motel to friends & family . Coming from Myrtle Beach the only drawback back was the traffic , trying to turn left onto wacammaw Rd. Very nice . Dorothy Good price also
