Great experience. Room was nice and clean

Well, the staff was helpful. The property itself left a lot to desire. I drive a decent car and upon arrival my car was circled by what appeared to be residence of the hotel as I walked into the lobby a woman whom urinated on herself sat on the lobby bench. I notified staff that she had urinated on herself, and the bench was not cleaned. There were also a couple of vehicles there that appeared to have people living out of them. I was not comfortable, staying there and checked out within 10 minutes.

Room 123 smelled terrible like cat pee and musty B/O. We asked for something for the smell and the employee seems like she couldn't have cared less. We could not stand it so we left got another room down the road. My clothes were stained with the smell. I had to deep clean and change the filters on my CPAP machine because all I could smell was that room.

Nothing Made reservation with my name followed by my sisters name so she could check in before my flight arrived for the Concord, NC location on Commons Park Cir. On Friday May 15, 2026 around 5:10pm my sister stood at the counter for a good 5 minutes with no service, while her cats waited in the hot car. When the staff member finally arrived, she was very rude. She wouldn’t let my sister check in and then proceeded to tell her cats were not allowed. No where in the policy does it say cats, just says pets allowed. My sister ended up going to a different hotel, and paying more. I was still charged $100, not because of no-show, my sister did try to check in. The service was totally unsatisfactory. I don’t know if it was just the employees bad attitude, or a company as a whole. Unless I get a refund, I’m going to assume the latter. I would greatly appreciate a follow-up response from corporate, or the General Manager Crystal Cody.

We are avid travelers and have NEVER had an accommodation fail to provide toilet paper! It was have been appropriate to be informed that their delivery hadn’t arrived at check in. When I arrived, the receptionist was in a back room on the phone and after several minutes, I had to call out to be checked in. The property was advertised as having an equipped kitchen because there is a cooktop and full refrigerator. The cabinets were completely bare. No dish soap, no paper products of any kind, no pots, dishes, glasses or cups, flatware, or anything needed to prepare even simple meals. The room was shabby with chipped paint and worn in appearance. Many hotels are in the area. Choose one of them and avoid this property.

Get there & get checked in get to the room & there is no toilet paper. Call front desk & they then decide to inform us they are out of tp & if we want any we have to go buy it ourselves. So, we do that. Get up the next morning, attempt to make coffee & there is none. So go down to the desk & they inform us again, they are out of coffee. On top of that, walls in the room were so gross. It was just not a pleasant.

This is an extended stay. A lot of people use this hotel as their house and it shows. The property is run down. The front desk staff is rude and has an attitude. There was something in my roll that was making me sick. I don’t know if it was mold or just needed a better cleaning, but I will NOT stay at this hotel again. I felt like I wasn’t welcomed there.
- 2/5
I don’t recommend you stay here. Upon entering room 2 main counters were dirty (had pink sticky stuff) and the carpet had visible dirt on the floor. The room 115 appeared needed painting in some spots. Quite frankly I told the front desk attendant I was going to request a full refund. Extremely dissatisfied.

It's hard to like anything when you can't even get the necessities in the hotel and you paying all this money for I did not like the fact that every time I went to ask him for something they did not have it to give me no toilet paper. And they do not give you towels and washcloths only after two weeks of being in the hotel. You get another towel and washcloth. You run out of toilet paper. They don't give you toilet paper. That means I gotta leave out at 12:15 AM. In the morning to go buy toilet paper. Somewhere? A ridiculous they never, ever mentioned this at all. When I first booked this room and I ended up staying here 5 days I'm definitely getting out of here. And would not come back i feel like this is a segregated hotel.Racist hotel?Or it's something if it's not none of those, but it feels like you're living in the fifties.

Such a friendly team! Britney was a total sweetheart and helped me get settled (and fixed my locked bathroom) right away. The room was clean and a great value, though the location is definitely a "car-only" spot since there aren't many sidewalks or shops nearby. Just a heads up: they don't do daily room cleanings or refill shower gel automatically, so you'll need to ask the front desk if you need anything!

The elevator was broken and they were not telling customers until check-in I just had my foot partially amputated and had to carry my luggage and stuff up to the second floor via the stairwell Also in order to get hot water in the bathroom sink I had to cut the shower on to let the hot water run re only

Ice Machines all broken, Room wasn't clean (KItchen, Bath Area), No Wash Rags in Bathroom. Bathroom shower looks very old and not clean. Honestly one of the worse places I have ever stayed being honest

When i got there no one was at the front desk and had to wait an extended amount of time for help. Due to renovations, all the elevators were down. Nothing in book let is know construction was happening. My first room had bugs then only available roon was on the 3rd floor. I was there on business and worked overnight. At 9am you have housekeeping banging on the door because they need all door open for painting. I told them I'm sleeping and don't feel comfortable leaving my door open and the response was "oh well". The next morning they repeatedly called the room when i told them multiple times i have to sleep. Really disrespectful to my sleeping time. Then as i was napping i kept hearing a buzzing noise. There were to big beetles over my bad. I was done at that point. Immediately packed my stuff and found another hotel. I will never stay here again. And they don't refund you even though the failure was on their part and not mine. I do not recommend this place at all.

Having an on site gym was helpful. Decent location. AVOID - Harassment, Illegal Fees, and Retaliation I stayed at Uptown Suites Charlotte from October through mid-November 2025 and experienced shocking mistreatment that I feel compelled to warn others about. What happened: Illegal ESA Discrimination: I provided official emotional support animal documentation BEFORE check-in (have email proof dated prior to move-in). Despite this, management attempted to evict me immediately upon return from travel, claiming I had an "illegal pet." When I referenced Fair Housing Act protections, they changed their story multiple times. Harassment and Retaliation: After I asserted my legal ESA rights, management subjected me to hourly "safety checks" as retaliation - staff knocking on my door every hour to make my living situation unbearable. This is illegal harassment. Inappropriate Contact with Minor: Management spoke directly to my teenage daughter WITHOUT my permission or presence, asking her to confirm we were leaving. This is completely inappropriate and predatory behavior toward a child. Deceptive Billing: Management lied repeatedly about charges. First claimed my card "wasn't charged," then said it WAS charged but I shouldn't have received my refund. Charged illegal pet fees for a documented ESA, which violates Fair Housing Act. Entering Room Without Permission: Evidence suggests staff entered my room during my approved travel (found trash bag with litter I didn't place there). I had not authorized housekeeping and did not leave a service request. The Bottom Line: If you have an emotional support animal, have children, or value being treated with basic dignity - AVOID THIS LOCATION. Management is unprofessional, deceptive, and retaliatory. I'm filing complaints with HUD (Fair Housing violations), BBB, and corporate. The late-night clerk who eventually helped resolve the immediate crisis was the ONLY professional staff member I encountered. Save yourself the trauma and book...

When we arrived had a 2 Bed Queen booked and they didn’t have it cleaned and put us in a one bed queen with roll away bed and tried to charge more since rates went up for weekend. Then never once got any towels and washcloths for a 3 night stay had to go and get washcloths everyday and last day didn’t get anything. Worst hotel stay that I have booked through Hotels.com

- 3/5
Staff was super Nice but that's about it! Kitchen had NOTHING. Not even the basics, like utensils, glasses, cups, or small plates. Nothing! I can understand if there's nothing for "cooking" but there should at least be something to eat with. You shouldn't have to travel with a full kitchen. And what's up with only being allowed 1 PARTIALLY used roll of toilet paper. Whatever is left on the roll from the previous occupant is what you are expected to have for the duration of your stay. They don't even leave a fresh "UN-OPENED" roll for the new occupant. If you DO run out and need more - you'll need to go to the nearest store and purchase your own. Outside pet area was more of a smoking section than it was for pets. Oh and watch the pet/deposit fees. Not clearly noted on some sites. The WORST was the fitted sheet DID NOT fit the bed and kept coming off ALL night!! Hard to get a good nights rest when you have to keep getting up and remaking the bed because the sheet pops off rolling you up!! I think I will "Stay Away" from ALL Uptown Extended Stay's in the future.

That it was convenient to stores and restaurants in the area First of all, I did not like the fact that my room constantly had roaches, that I had to go out and buy spray to kill them.Secondly, I booked through a third party, and I booked in advance, and they told me that I had to check out.And check back in at three o'clock. However, wouldn't check in time came. They told me they only had one vacancy, and several people were trying to get it. And it was first come first serve After sending me a email saying that they could not accommodate me another room.I had booked a prior week to the week that they canceled on me.And they sent me another email.Saying that they did not have to vacancies. After seeing online that they did have vacancies. If there was a problem they did not discuss it with me this was a big inconvenience to me.I had to find somewhere else at the last minute. However, I think that if you book him from a third party agency and not booking from uptown suites.Concorde you are treated differently.

Location and price. Supposed to have a Keurig in the room. I brought my own coffee. Well There wasn't. But there was a regular one cup coffee maker and a coffe/filter.. So i figured that would be ok. Well in the morning at 6am I discovered i had a partial coffee maker. No was to use it. I went to the front desk to see if they had a replacement. She said yes, when the maintenance man comes in at 9?♂️? So had to drive to Bojangles for my coffee...

Great place to stay staff is wonderful and very helpful. In between home stay was great home away from new home, would highly recommend this place.
- 3/5
What a joke. They told us up front that even though a kitchen was provided we would need to purchase our own cheep set of cookware and eating utensils. No where did we have the opportunity to arrange for mobility issues before arrival. We were told that they had special rooms but none of the special rooms were clean. Then the elevator broke and we were on the third floor. Signs directed us to an ice machine that was posted as out of order on the machine. When I spoke to a clerk, that was rarely at the desk, I was told that each room had ice trays and I could make my own. They didn't even provide facial tissues in the room. The only reason we stayed was it was a race weekend and felt trapped by lack of availability at other facilities.

They called me at 3:00 in the afternoon to tell me they couldn't honor my reservation because they had no available rooms due to a lack of cleaning staff. I was only about an hour away and had to scramble to find another hotel. Since I booked with Expedia, I'll have to fight to get my money back!
- 1/5
Secondly, staff is hard to find, they are not authorized to do anything--even exchanging rooms. Three big red flags are that they want you to go and look at the rooms first and see if you are satisfied, there are security cameras all over the hall ways, lastly, they ask you sign to sign one page waiver that you will not break any of the rules listed.
- 2/5
The room coffee maker did not work, the bathroom was dirty, ice machine on site did not work
- 5/5
Room was very clean, A/C ice cold.

BUT, the biggest thing was - the absolutely filthy carpets and the horrible smell of the entire place. It was just a nasty smell where people cook in their rooms and the smell of weed. I would have gladly paid double or triple to have had another place booked. The only saving grace is that we only needed a place to crash for the night. Hate submitting negative reviews, but might be helpful to others.

This is the first motel/inn that did not provide extra toiletries, towels, and toilet paper. If you run out, you need to provide it yourself. If you need more towels, you need to wash them yourself at the laundromat downstairs. The hairdryer is sooooo sticky, and the handle had someone's hair all wrapped up around it. Very very gross. I do not think the cleaning staff cleans the rooms thoroughly. I have been to cheaper hotels before, and I do not usually leave a review unless it is really bad, but this one needs my review to let people know not to book this place.
- 3/5
Booked this hotel based on the rating score and proximity of where we were going to be.. the room smelled stale with a musty funk, there were hair balls and big dust balls stuck to the legs of the stools at the dining area. Only one elevator, so if they needed to service a refrigerator or take trash/dirty laundry or whatever it was all done in the same elevator as guests. We had to wait to go to our room while they were swapping refrigerators thru the elevator. I don’t know if this was because its an extended stay or not, but there was nowhere to put our trash, no extra trash bags other than the 1 it came with and no toilet paper other than the 1 roll there. We called the front desk to ask about the trash and where to put it, they answered but claimed they couldn’t hear us.. my husband went down to the front desk and she claimed she never answered the phone in the first place because she missed the call but we were talking to her on the phone in the room. We ended up walking our trash bag outside to the dumpster, which was also overflowed and there was trash everywhere. Overall, the experience wasn’t terrible, but definitely average and the “customer rating score” is very deceiving. Would’ve booked elsewhere.

Check in took almost an hour due to lack of staff. They originally put me in the wrong room. The bathtub was dirty and while showering, a roach came out of a crack in the wall and i woke up to a bug crawling on me.

I was shocked that there was no restroom in lobby. That's the 1st thing people need to do after a long ride but we had to wait to check in and use the restroom when we got in our room. But the room was VERY nice!
- 4/5
They do not have breakfast and don’t use the venting machines in the lobby. Also check out is at 11 across the board not 12 like the hotel room door says. Other than that the hotel is just that a hotel nothing to write home about

The only thing listed in their website was a $20 per day pet fee, which I had zero problem with because it was something I knew about in advance. Not even in the pet addendum that I had to sign was there any mention of this non refundable deposit, which isn’t a deposit, it’s a fee. And people shouldn’t be blindsided by that.

I never got to stay there and had to book another hotel in Kannapolis. I couldn’t make my first day that I scheduled for the reservation. This hotel had a 2 burner eye in the counter but no pots or pans or any kitchen utensils. When I went to ask of more towels I was told I needed to go back to my room and get my dirty towels and bring them to front desk to exchange them. Kinda shady area with people always walking around outside at night and yelling. People in room above me sounded like they were in a band with stomping. Hotel said they were non smoking but my room smelled like tabacco and the smell of marajauana was in the hall. Was told to call a 1800 number for password to wifi but never get anyone on the line to get passcode.
- 3/5
The smoke dedicator alarm inside the room started once I turned on the heater. Something was burning for 10 seconds. Good things: The location is amazing, the room was clean, and the price was good. The property is not for people with lung issue or babies.
- 1/5
I was shown two rooms. The first looked like there was blood on the floor and a flea jumped on me while I was in the room. The 2nd, the floors where slippery and the bathroom hardware was off the wall and sitting on the vanity. Both rooms were damp with humidity. I cancelled my stay and was told that the manager would refund me the next day. This was on the 13th of June and I am still waiting for my refund of $627. I have stopped in once and the manager wasn’t there and have called twice. I spoke to the asst manager and the other time I was just told to call back.

We made a reservation through Expedia, but when we arrived, they said that they did not have any room.

I liked how amicable the staff were. The room was pretty accessible as well, so my stay was comfortable. Just hope they can fix the elevator button. Great place!
- 5/5
Clean with everything I needed. And a great location near the speedway.
- 2/5
Internet didnt work at all, and tv signal was in and out and we were told we had to call an 800 number to get it resolved rather than the hotel taking ownership of it. Beds are extremely hard and I came home with a bad backache. Walls are very thin and noise from other rooms can be heard far too easily.

The manager of the hotel gave our room away. Claimed Expedia over booked them but I was told by the front desk if I had gotten here before the previous guest I would have gotten a room. They also claim they tried to contact me about the over booking but I received no calls or voicemails the days leading up to our stay. They left us with no where to stay at 2:00am while we were 6 hours from home. We had to stay at somewhere twice as expensive due to this negligence

The property was okay. The tv and internet were down entire stay. No carts and the cart they do have is a piece of Junk. The staff was nice and helpful but those things are out of there control.
- 2/5
Property was misrepresented from the outset. It probably specializes in weekly rentals far more than nightly hotel stays. No amenities. No breakfast at all. No computer available to print boarding passes. No service of the room over a 3 night stay. Bathroom very clean— the only real positive. It was presented too highly online.

The hotel cancelled my reservation at 11am on the day of check in. They had overbooked, so they just left me without a room for the weekend. They even admitted that my reservation was cancelled in part because I booked through hotels.com

Stayed here a few years ago and really like it, but kind of disappointed this time around. My room appeared fine, everything was seemingly clean and in good condition, but there was an abundance of fruit flies in my room and in the hallways which made me question the true cleanliness and detracted from my stay.
- 2/5
The room had flies, need to have a bin in each room instead of a large bin by the elevator. Coffee machine was not working told the staff on the 1st day but it was never replaced nor it was fix. The water was not going down the drain in the tub.

unkept property. inadequately trained staff. No manager on-site. Gave me key card to some else’s room. Had no room for me and attempted to tell me my refund would be processed at a later time. Manager had to walk employees thru a refund via phone.

Great stay. Internet is not that fast (as they advertise)...Maybe you have to purchase the faster speeds (that would be a downer for me).
- 4/5
I didn’t like the fact that people didn’t clean up behind their dogs

First, I will say that the staff was very helpful with whatever needs we had, and the area around the hotel is great. There are several very nice hotels next door to this one, and it gives the area a better look. The bad.... we checked in late one evening and the first smell we were met with was marijuana. It's 2022, I get it, but still, there are some places I would like to take my kid and not have them smell it. We got checked in and there were no issues with that. As we were walking to our room, it became very apparent that this was definitely an extended stay location. Meaning, walking past several of the rooms with the doors open, people actively lived there, not just for the weekend. The halls smelled like marijuana and the carpets had some really bad staining. One in our room, other than the floors being super sticky, it was otherwise clean with the exception of smelling a little musty. I had to walk back out to our car for a few items and while walking through the parking lot, there appeared to be several occupied cars where people were smoking, drinking, and otherwise just hanging out. The remainder of our stay was ok, but there is no doubt that the walls are paper thin and we could hear "everything" that was going on in the two rooms beside us.
- 2/5
Floor was filthy, people hanging around outside, pets on too long of leases and too close. Smelly room and hallways.
- 1/5
Many Roach cam out on floor.

Check in was fine, friendly staff. Overall a nice room, however bathroom receptacle non functional and next morning received a front desk phone call about renewing another night's stay. Within 5 minutes of this, housekeeping knocks on our door. This was before 10 a.m. According to Hotels.com, checkout was noon. Felt rushed, so we left ay 10:30 a.m.

I did not like the fact that I had an emergency vet visit because the room was NOT clean and my dog ate something that gave him an anaphylactic reaction. I also don't like that the general manager has not followed through in forwarding my complaint to anyone above him. I have not heard anything in a week.
- 2/5
They were out of soap, i've never had that happen and thank goodness I happened to bring my own on this trip. The elevator had a communication error flashing on the panel and hadn't been cleaned, swept or mopped in the 3 days i was there. The staff were never at the desk, I called to reach someone per their note on the front desk and was hung up on.
- 5/5
Everything was clean and comfortable. Only down fall is they offer nothing as far as kitchen appliances.
- 3/5
I liked the place but it had a terrible smell in the room. Not sure what it was but it wasn't pleasant. It seemed like the whole hotel had a weird smell but more stronger in the rooms. Didn't smell like cleaning products either.. Also had issues with some tvs there also. But wasn't notified of it to we got there. Luckily I wasn't there to watch it. It was clean though.
- 2/5
There was no cable the entire time. That was the worst part of the entire experience. I feel like that was a bit misleading.
- 1/5
I told them upfront that Wi-Fi was a prerequisite. I checked in and discovered no Wi-Fi, so I promptly checked out they said I would get a full refund. I just realized I was charged for the entire stay, that is not what that lady told me!

Friendly professional staff and a clean hotel

I liked the cleaniess the pet friendly policy and the location. I like the staff as well

Service was disappointedly bad. Of all the places I visited in NC this was tbe only place where the gentleman at the front desk gave me the impression he didn't care about my business. Internet, TV and phone were down for 2 days and i was never told about it. Once i got to the front desk it was more rudeness. Housekeeping is very nice a d polite. Hotels is nice apart from bathtub drain plug tgat wouldn't stay up. Great location! But the guy was just something else.

Had to switch room due to the other room being filthy and dirty. Changed rooms and the tv didn’t work and the bathroom was still dirty it was super late so I just stayed in the room abs cleaned the bathroom appropriately! Very disappointed!!

Quieter beds was comfortable overall i enjoy my stay.

Quiet & close to the venue I was there for. What I didn`t like was the bed the sheets was ripped and kept coming off and they didn`t look clean
- 5/5
It was great

My towel rack was pulled out of the wall and was laying on the toilet. No amenities I could identify. Evening staff rude and unprofessional
- 1/5
The absolute worst place I have ever seen
- 1/5
I booked a room on the website . When my driver arrived he was told there were no rooms available and that they did not update the website to reflect this so he had no place to stay.
- 4/5
Located near plenty of restaurants and shopping. Hotel was clean, room was nice. There was a nasty smell under the sink in the kitchenette, which is where the trash can was. Bathroom hadn’t been stocked when we checked in. Had to get towels and such from the front desk that night. Overall, it was a pleasing stay, and I’d probably stay there again if need be.
- 5/5
One of the cheapest in the area but it was definitely worth it. Enjoyed my stay. This is my new go-to for my visits to the area.
- 4/5
Very clean. But a little noisy.
- 1/5
Cancelled our room said they were oversold. They blamed orbitz very rude and dirty place.
- 3/5
I personally think this location is overrated and over priced. The walls are paper thin and the floors squeek. The beds are very flimsy and uncomfortable. There seems to be alot of locals living at this location as well. Be very observant of your credit card charges at this location. They do not match hotels.com information. I have used hotels.com over 300 times and have never had this issue. They don't explain the trash situation clearly. You have to talk your trash all the way outside to a very unsanitary dumpster. DURING OUR STAY VENUS WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. I will probably skip this hotel my next trip to Concord. Very over priced and underwhelming.
- 2/5
The TV didn’t work the first night, then I moved to another room and didn’t get cleaned the whole I was there.
- 1/5
I was never refunded my money instead I was charged for the money I was supposed to be refunded on top of the money I already paid for my reservation. The hotel and corporate again no help
- 3/5
Good hotel for the price & friendly staff. Although WiFi never connected to my devices & over half the tv channels never got a signal even after the GM put in a ticket for a reboot. Bed mattresses could use replacing…boarder line no cushioning.
- 5/5
Nice, Clean rooms.
- 4/5
The only negative was the “stink bugs” they were in all 3 of our rooms. They explained how they have attempted to rid the problem and even vacuumed the room when we were away for the day. Hopefully they find a service to prevent this from reoccurring
- 3/5
The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel charges for pots and pans and silverware even though they are an extended stay hotel with a stove and refrigerator.
- 2/5
Room was clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. However, we had beetles, 1 wasp and a bunch of lady bugs. We can deal with that. When we went to shower the first night the shower head was broken. We understand maintenance doesn’t work 24/7 so requested it be fixed the next day and took baths instead. It wasn’t fixed the next day. So we went to Walmart and bought a $5 shower head. The following morning (2 hours before checkout) we were awakened to replace the shower head but we didn’t need it by then.
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay. Was a very nice hotel and very clean. No complaints.
- 1/5
I didn’t like the fact I had already checked in before the employee told me that I had no TV in my room due to a storm three weeks ago. I didn’t have anything to offer but a $25 voucher.
- 5/5
I love that there is no to very little carpet in this place!!!!!
- 5/5
The property EA’s just as pictured inline. The staff was friendly. The laundry room was clean
- 4/5
The only real issue I had I am assuming the people residing above me had a dog because for hours at a time it sounded as a horse race was going on. I discussed with the front desk and they took care of it but would recommend tenants with animals be put on lower floors so it wouldn’t impact someone staying below them.
- 4/5
everything was so convenient and accessible.
- 4/5
A stove top range, full refrigerator, the keurig machine, Netflix on the tv
- 5/5
It’s always so clean and quiet, never an unpleasant experience. However, the spiders at the front door could be managed.
- 5/5
I travel a lot for work, sometimes months on end. I usually have to pick between the $150.00 or the $50.00 red roof inn. This property offers the cleanliness and amenities of a 3 star extended stay at rock bottom prices. I would definitely return.
- 5/5
Exceeded my expectations. Simple, clean, and well done for a budget friendly hotel.
