Holiday Inn Express & Suites Charlotte-Concord-I-85 by IHG

The staff was very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. Breakfast was great with anything from eggs, sausage, gravy to pancakes and hot cinnamon rolls. The cost was very reasonable also. We will definitely be staying at Holiday Inn at Concord, NC when we come back down. Thank you.

This was the best location! It was within walking distance to Cookout, Sonic, Texas Roadhouse, Waffle House, and more! The staff were in credibly nice: I think it was Ms. Lori (the nice blonde receptionist), who was a delight to talk to and was so very helpful! The rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was actually really good (pancakes, eggs, cinnamon rolls, fruit, cereal, sausage, etc.). I would stay here again!

The hotel was very clean and the staff were warm and welcoming. I was staying for business needed somewhere to get a bit to eat. They pointed me in the right direction The paint on the walls and the carpet could use a freshing

It is an older facility but very, very clean and well kept. The only complaint I have is that I wish the continental breakfast was open later in the morning.

Clean AC to weak to keep room cool. Temperature was on 62 degrees and felt like 72 degrees. They sent maintenance immediately to check system, but there was nothing he could do!

Room was clean. The check in was messed up and had to spend time to correct with front desk the second morning of our stay. Heather was great to fix and correct the issue.

The only thing was the outside door by room 124 needs to be locked by 10pm as it slams closed and can be heard all night in the room there are several other doors that can be used after that time which would be better for anyone staying near that door

The hotel is perfectly located next to Charlotte Motor Speedway and Zmag Dragway, which is why I booked it. Food and gas are right near it too. Very convenient. Service was great. Exactly as expected for a holiday inn.

The room was so much better than when we stayed Nov 2024! Would not have stayed here but bro-in- law had already booked here! Service was a 100% improved, a/c worked this time as opposed to heat last year and no maintenance response! $200+ per night was ridiculous for Holiday Inn!

Stair door and exit door slamming all night long. If you get stuck in room 124, good luck going to sleep. It’s across from the stair door and next to the exit doors that get opened and slammed at all hours of the night. This room should be turned into a storage room. No chance of sleeping with slamming doors all until 3am every night. Overall hotel was fine as long as you don’t get put in room 124. Awful!

Nice hotel would have been perfect if the ice machine was working on the 4th floor. It was inoperative the entire week that I was there. Also please get a new luggage cart. Other than this the hotel is in a really good area and easy to get to.

Cleaning staff was talking about the guest that were staying at the hotel in spanish. Felt uneasy every time they walked by . They were complaining about how the rooms where .I guess they thought i didnt know spanish , the only reason i didnt say anything was the fact that i had my kids with me. They were rude . I did tell the manager but he didnt do anything , i was waiting after i told him and all he said was "is there anything else you need " .

This is by far my best choice. Since COVID, my experiences and expectations were low. This location has raised the bar. I really enjoyed the stay. Excellent service and staff, lots of shops and food nearby, decent continental breakfast, and most of all I felt safe and the facility was quiet! I will return!

Good location. Close to highway and Concord Mills Mall, tons of restaurants. So lots of traffic just have to be patient. Did not have the breakfast provided, nice feature though. Also close to the speedway

The bathroom is a little bit raggedy. The grout is missing around the tub/shower and only 2 half rolls of toilet paper. But for 1 nights sleep it's ok.

The stay was fine. The only thing was the heat didn't work to well. The room was freezing when we entered. The water did not get that hot either.

I was supposed to be there for two nights but only stayed the one. The first night I got there was on 8-27-24 everything was fine. The man that checked me in was very nice and kind to me. I get up the next morning around 7am and I turn on the lights I just happen to look on the wall above the fire detector and seen a cockroach on the wall. I took a picture of it and went down to the front desk to let them know and the young girl behind the desk was kinda rude and was saying it looked like a water bug. She said she could move me but I was like no I’m checking out today if there was one in my room who’s to say there’s not any in the other ones. I have never had this kind of problem before but I’m sure not going to ever go back there again.

This was my second visit to the area in two weeks due to a cancelled and subsequently rescheduled event. This hotel had everything I needed, the staff were kind, it was SO clean and if I have to visit the area again I'll definitely stay there!

Very comfortable bed with superior black out blinds. We didnt wake up until 9am because we thought it was 6am outside. Also walkable to a Starbucks and a great Barbecue Restaurant

It was convenient to several eateries in the area. Easy access to the Interstate. Safe was very nice. One of the beds was wet the first night we checked in. The did change the sheets the next day and everything was fine after that.

The toilet flooded and we were not given an option to switch rooms. We were only given towels to absorb The water that had overflowed. I called to ask if there was anyone that was going to come clean it properly or if we needed to come get something. I was met with a bad attitude and told she was alone. I understand and feel bad she is alone but I wasn’t rude and didn’t deserve an attitude. I was staying with friends, not family, and I’m asking because of cleanliness. I went downstairs and asked the lady for sanitary products to clean the floors. I scrubbed the floors myself because the lady at the front desk was the only one at the hotel scheduled. We left the bags of toilet water towels outside the door and it sat there until the remainder of our stay👎 (lady didn’t have an attitude once downstairs, I appreciate her trying to help.)
