Our room was a handicap and the shower flooded the bathroom… the tv would not work and the beds were old and bumpy. I’m sorry to write such a bad review but it needs updated. The staff was very nice, or we would have moved.

The staff were very kind, helpful, and always cheerful. Breakfast was served hot and on time with lots of options to choose from, it was the kind you would expect free food to be like. It was peaceful and private. It’s a relaxing place and I do recommend for anyone visiting.

The property, however, is in SERIOUS need of a remodel. It is a very dated. There were rips in the curtains, cracks in the wall and a huge patch job on the ceiling. The couch in the room looked dirty enough for us to ask for another sheet to cover it before we sat on it. The towels were thin, the toilet needed 2 flushes to work. The Hiltons need to live up to their name. I would not stay at this particular Hampton Inn again. For the price, $1200 for 4 nights was way too much for this hotel. Hiltons....do better.

The room was clean not enough drawers in the room no phone in room for 2days I reported it immediately to front desk she wrote it down did nothing. Other than that it’s quite good for a quick trip 24 hour coffee in the lobby and buffet breakfast

Price of room was high enough. Front desk staff -great. Breakfast lady-excellent. Room-clean -needs the trim on the baseboard cemented down -left side wall when you walk inside. Provided local Resturant options. **would let people know one of these Restaurants are gluten free. I’m sure they would appreciate knowing it. It had good Mexican food and very close to hotel.

The hotel was clean. It is an older facility and as clean as possible. The breakfast area is small and dated. The pool was featured on the website but there was no mention that it wasn't currently open. The pool area, visible from the breakfast area revealed an empty pool and an unkept pool area. The bathroom faucet was very loose. I reported that and a work order was entered. There were no sugar free condiment options for the breakfast (and I did ask). Diabetics, be aware and bring your own. I have stayed at other Hilton facilities where sugar free syrup, etc, was available. I was charged 110.97 for my security deposit for 2 nights and refunded 100.00. I called and the extra was for 2 nights parking. That wasn't mentioned anywhere. What am I supposed to do? Walk in on foot? Overall, an acceptable stay, but not what I would expect from a Hilton facility.

The hotel is in a great location right off the highway. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The room was clean. Our room was up against the ice machine so you heard it making noise all night. Got used to it, didn’t keep us up but it could have been on a different wall to avoid that. Breakfast was included and had a variety of foods. But the hot food wasn’t that great. Good bagels and yogurt. Plenty of parking but didn’t realize there was a parking fee for every day we were there. When booking the room I didn’t remember that $5 charge daily. It is one of the better hotels in Kannapolis so we might end up staying there again.

The cleanliness of my room and the hallway. Breakfast was great. The day of checkout the lady at the front counter was very helpful in understanding the issue I had with the rate of my room through booking.com and what I was charged when I checked in. While Checking in front desk informed that the rate I had was not showing the rate from booking.com, I even showed him my confirmation email from booking and he told me that I could not check in unless I paid the rate that was in Hampton Inn’s system. I felt like he didn’t want to listen or bothered when I even showed him my confirmation email.

We enjoyed our stay at Hampton Inn. The front check in clerk was very friendly and helpful. We came in around Christmas time and Kannapolis happened to be having their Christmas parade that night. She’s not only told us about it, she also printed out a map with the address and directions and best places for parking. The room was very clean and smelt very good. I would definitely recommend staying here!

Long time Hilton Honors member and Regular business traveler. Stayed at this location 3 times this year, because of location for the work I have to preform, I thought that maybe the first stay was crappy because of time of year (July near Race weekend), but after this weekend I will avoid this location like a person on fire to a tank of gasoline. They charge a fee for parking even though they have ample parking, the cleanliness is sub par, the front desk person (Not Sure if male or female) was condescending, and had a attitude. I assume they are busy because of the close proximity to the high way, FIND ANOTHER PLACE TO STAY, IS MY RECOMMENDATION!!!!

Couldn’t take part in the breakfast because of a very large group of people (at least 40 or more) that took up the entire area and were rude and obnoxious. They made a huge mess and completely wiped out all the food and drink.

When checking in we were told plumbing was done and possible dirty water… the issue was the water was clear but the hot water was scalding burning my wife’s hands. I advised the front desk and they were very casual about it stating they would notify appropriate persons. Toilet was vey low to floor as well. Beds were extremely soft and sagging. TV was old and picture had continuous light in center. At breakfast, ants crawling on our table. Best part of trip was the coffee. Nicest person there was cleaning employee I spoke with on elevator.

When you walk into the bathroom and see a giant hairball in the shower - it’s a turnoff. Also the towel rack was coming out of the wall as well as the shower curtain holder. Bed was comfortable, sheets appeared clean - only super positive was constant coffee available in the lobby and great location off the highway.

The clerk was lazy, didn’t want to assist with anything. We drove five hours to check into a room unpack and go get our shower. The toilet is filled with feces! They had one option and it was not big enough for our party. We had to locate another hotel entirely and pay out of pocket with no apologies. Coinciding with an almost adamant refusal to assist in getting my funds back, for the room. He ended up helping. We got lucky and found a room at the last minute but we didn’t get rewards from it as we always stay Marriott or Hilton. Never in my life have I seen a toilet that “passed inspection” yet have explosive Diahrrea “caked” to the inside. My daughter almost sat on that disgusting thing!! Would never recommend to anyone to stay there. EVER!

The room was overall clean, there was either mold or dust above the bathroom door. They have the refillable bottles of hygiene products and our lotion bottle was empty. There is no hand soap in the bathroom which I found disturbing. On a positive note, Jacob at check in was super friendly and accommodating.

We had to extend our stay an additional day and requested it at check-in. Foune ourselves locked out of the room because Front Desk (Josh) neglected to inform us that we would need to re-check in the next day. As a result, we were locked us out of the room.

I usually do not give reviews but this one needs to be read. This place is filthy. And the price they charged is outrageous for the quality of the hotel. Toilet clogged. AC moldy causing me severe asthma. The shower head was dirty with soap scum. The bed sheet had a dried booger on it. I cannot believe what I experienced. I booked a two night stay and checked out early the next morning because I was not going to go through another sleepless night coughing the night away. Stay away from this hotel.

The place was fine, it was clean and staff was friendly. But after staying there I got a charge for $5.48 on my incidentals card. When I called they said it was a parking fee. Well they never said anything about a parking fee when I arrived. Why would this be charged to my incidental card? How do they know I even parked in the lot? They didn’t ask for any car information. This is a huge scam and is probably illegally. I was able to get a refund. But I will be contacting the BBB to file a complaint. It seems like a huge scam to steal $5 from everyone who stays there. I won’t ever be staying there again because of it.

We received no bedding for the pull out sofa even though we had 3 adults booked in room. Only received towels once and had to ask and just gave us two towels for 3 adults. We were there for 3 days and nights. Ask for extra pillows as the pillows are worthless we were told couldn’t get any extra. For the quality of the hotel it is way overpriced. Would not recommend to anyone.

Prior to selecting this hotel, I looked for comparable places that met our needs and read the reviews. Honestly, based on the reviews, I expected much better. I felt that the staff that I interacted with were caring and polite. However, the cleanliness and maintenance needed a bit of attention. There were a lot of customers staying at this hotel, no special event. I heard a couple of similar concerns to ours. With the amount of customers, I would think management/ owners could invest in some updates and upgrades that will make a much more pleasant experience for all, especially at that price point.

Didn’t meet my expectation for a Hampton. I stay at Hamptons because I generally find consistent quality for cleanliness, breakfast, facility and staff. This Hampton was not clean; needed remodeling, staff used profanity in first floor Housekeeping room, typically Hamptons have golden raisins and sliced almonds for oatmeal which they didn’t. Ceiling tiles missing at entrance, trash in planters, light in room was leaning, tile grout kind of gross and even the cookies were not good. Sorry, it’s just wasn’t as good as typical Hampton Inns.

Please advise staff to take the masks off. It’s 2024 and really obnoxious, especially when they wear it on their chin…defeating any purpose of wearing it. Do you have sick people checking in guests? Room 215 Good floor with great access to things. Room was mediocre and the sink barely drained. The bathroom has no exhaust fan. Again, it’s 2024-get with the times. For $150 for a king room, this isn’t worth it. A fair price for this place would be $85 tops. Location is extremely convenient right off 85 so that was good. Nearby places to eat and shop.

Rooms are smaller than other Hampton Inns Ive stayed in. Beds are comfy. Bathrooms small, but nice. Breakfast good. Mybonlyncomplaint is that they charge a parking lot recovery fee. Ridiculous. Its themanagement company...not Hilton. $4/night! And I got 2 rooms and was charged for both rooms, so it has NOTHING to donwith you having a car. Insane! None of the staff likes it either, but they have to. I wont stay here again unless they get rid of that.

Was not what we were expecting with the rating this hotel had. The room was a bit tight, smaller than a typical hotel room. No closet just a rack along the wall covered by a curtain. Dirty blanket, had stains, so removed it off the bed. In the bathroom, Tub plug left on the soap rack and the toilet overflowed. Not a great experience. The staff was resonanly nice and helpful, just took over an hour to have the toilet addressed. Glad it was just an overnight stay. Probably not going to stay at an Hampton Inn again.

Friends stayed there and we all said that same -the bed was uncomfortable. The carpets in my room felt dirty and the room smelled of cigarettes. On check-in, the clerk came from behind the desk-eating something. She kept chewing and talking. It was less than professional.

I reserved a room with a king and sofa bed. Was given a king room. Was told the sofa bed room was unavailable. When we entered the room. There was trash on the floor. A straw and torn bits of paper. I asked the staff to remove the straw as I didn't want to touch it myself. I picked up the paper and threw them away. The tables in the eating area were dirty. They needed to be cleaned after each use..

The staff: I spent my entire breakfast listening to front desk person read guest reviews aloud the proceed to trash talk the reviews. This was followed with an encore of guest-bashing chatter with a coworker. At one point going so far as to say, “this woman complained about the pool not being open and I was like ‘the pool isn’t part of the cost, it is a bonus.’” This particular front desk clerk obviously lost sight of the fact that the people she was bashing are guests” and should be treated with respect and courtesy. And on the subject of breakfast: It was below or even for a free hotel breakfast. Coffee was cold. Food was cold. Milk, oddly enough, was not. Which might be why I was sick for most of the day afterward. I will not be staying at this location again and will be sure to let friends and family to go the few extra miles to another facility.

We stayed here for one night and will never again. Dirty stained pillows in the pillow cases, stained comforters and mildewed grout in the shower. Yes, I have photos. We were in the room for a couple of hours before we noticed that the room may not have been cleaned prior to our arrival. The front desk staff was apologetic and professional. She offered to move us to a different room and provided the contact information of the General Manager without me even asking. His response was to blame US for the condition of the room AND to accuse US of stealing pillow cases. This individual will not take any sort of responsibility for the condition of this property. Heed the other negative reviews about this place. They are correct. I urge anyone who has had a similar experience with this place, specifically this manager, to call Hilton Corporate headquarters. Don’t be quiet about this treatment.
