Great Wolf Lodge Concord

Booked stay with my 11 year old. First time there. Property was clean, staff was nice but couldn't answer any questions regarding park hours and activities. Wolfe app didn't work. I thought that the pool would have a section deeper than 5 ft but it didn't. Food expensive. Overall my son enjoyed himself and thats all that matters.

The bathrooms by the swimming area need cleaned more often. The dinning room staff was AMAZING!! Staff had to bring us 3 pack and plays because the others were broken. Very helpful staff!!

Friendly staff and everything being convenient was perfect for our first summer trip. We will be back next year💜

The place was ok

I have nothing but great things to say about Great Wolf. Everything and everyone was great! We originally came for one night and ended up staying for three nights. If you decide after you get there that you want to extend your stay and they have availability, it’s only $129 per night. What an amazing deal and the little ones will absolutely think they are in wonderland!

Room was amazing, indoor waterpark was great. Only stayed one night and did not purchase any other packages. Parking, loading and unloading was extremely busy. Could not find a cart to load suitcases had to carry everything in.

My family and I really enjoyed the stay. The room was spacious and clean!!

It was amazing they had events for the kids everything was just absolutely perfect

We didnt use pool it was closed at 8 and we left before anything else could open up for the day

I arrived at 1 pm. I called great wolf a few days before and they new we would arrive early. I was supposed to get a text when my room was ready. Everyone that checked in at 1 pm, got there room before us. The check in time is 4pm. I had to go to the desk at 440pm to ask when my room would be ready and suddenly it was ready. I was tired and wanted to change. My kids wanted to go and eat. When we finally arrived into our room. My son was showering the only light flickered off, it scared him and he screamed. My daughter had to use the light of my cell phone to shower but in the middle the light came back on. The bathroom is pitch dark without a light. My son could not see and slipped coming out of the tub, trying to get out. All can say was the staff was nice. I am not sure I will be back.

Clean Rooms. Very Spacious. A lot of stuff for the kids to do in the property.

1. Information- we called a few times leading up to our stay to confirm, property details and policy. When we arrived, we were informed that all of that was incorrect and the phone team is often wrong, but we made all of our travel plans around that team feedback. 2. Customer Service- we had two check-in experiences. The first one was quite awful, the young lady could not offer any solutions and her only answer to all of our questions was to download the app. We waited it out a couple of hours, and then our second associate was much more helpful and told us they’re actually was a room available and it had been for quite some time, proving that the first girl was in fact lying to us. 3. Amenities - the only things provided are a small bar of hand soap, and then a combo shampoo/conditioner, and a body gel in the shower. No shower caps, no Q-tips. 4. The app- once you arrive on site, every employee tells you it is mandatory to download the app. There are literally no paper copies available, and nine times out of 10 when you ask a team member for assistance they direct you back to the app. I understand it’s for children, we didn’t pick it as our first choice, but the staff made it very clear that we were not the ideal guest or welcome

The kids had bunk beds which were okay and the extra bunk bed in the same room was horrible. The pull out sleeper soda had my back hurting. Didn't sleep well.

Everything was great (people, amusement park) a little outdated rooms. Overall great.

I love the location because you have a big extra things to do when the pool closed.

Everything was nice the staff was wonderful thd hotel was exactly like it was advertised on there website the check in was smooth anything I needed while I stayed there they responded quickly it was amazing I will be back .

Went to eat at wood lodge fire grill. Took at least 45 minutes to get 1 alcoholic beverage and ordered the seasonal brownie and ice cream stack. We took the food to the room and had to microwave the frozen brownies and the 2 scoops of chocolate sauce. Normally I would not have an issue but they were not very busy and the girl who took our order had to go check on it 3 different times. Then eventually went back there and I assume made it herself. I was not very pleased with this experience. Rest of the time we enjoyed our stay.

Relatively easy check in. One of the reps said i would be getting a text any second. We waited for a bit and no text. I checked email and i had a message tellikg me to go to the main desk. I went and they said they were waiting on me to give me keycards. Overall great stay.

Everything met our expectations! The only thing about our room was that things wasn’t wiped down. There was dust all over everything. So that means that our room wasn’t cleaned well. Thank god we always bring things to clean and wipe down stuffs plus our own personal sheets, blankets, pillows etc…Cuz it may look clean but not really.

For kids there is a million things to do (for a price). But overall this was a clean, well run place. Staff was kind and helpful, rooms were clean, and always something to do as a family.

The minute we arrived we had problems. We had to get a plumber because the toilet didn’t work after driving 10 hrs to get there was enough the for the bathroom not to work. Then later on we found roaches in the bathroom. Just disgusting! I was actually awaiting my refund that I have yet to receive. They stated it would com from Expedia, never again!

2 pizza’s under cooked (refunded), ordered pizza again…undercooked! I was accidentally double charged for parking, The pool area had very strong fumes of chlorine. My eyes and my kids eyes and throats also had burning sensations that took a day to recover from. Great Wolf Lodge needs to find a way to circulate fresh air and maintain the warm temperatures while it’s cold outside. Other than these issues the experience was fun.

I enjoyed myself up until the power went out and we had to sit for hours in the heat because there was no a/c and it was hot outside. As we were heading down to the pool the power cut and by time the power cut on the pool area was still not open but they said they would keep the pool open for an extra hour that day but by that time our kids already ate and went to bed.

Excellent Stay

We got there and everyone was so helpful and friendly! It’s a nice and clean area, specially for small kids. I’m very particular where I take my kids, I had fun as a parent and my kids had a blast! 100/100 recommend!!!

I stayed 4 days 3 nights, my room did not get clean not even once.

The little cabin area is cute but not useful. No door, no curtain to block light. But if that doesn’t matter than spend the extra money.

It was far too over priced, everything was booked and the lines were super long. The staff was nice and my room was clean but I had an awful time. I paid for the wolf pass but we only got to do 2 things. Partly it may have been due to lack of time but most of the time was waiting it line for something.

Everything was good except for the fact that I had already checked out of the room cleared my tab and get home from my vacation only to be charged $140 and harassed daily for $75 more to cover something that had already been settled before I left pretty frustrating !

The room is as musty the heater went out and maintenance was gone for the night…… the water park had ROACHES EVERYWHERE! Customer was ok for the most part.

I think if you wanted a place to take your kids and have an enjoyable weekend, this would be a perfect destination. The issue we had was that there was no hot water for us to shower and when we let them know, all they offered was their apologies. We’re not the type of people that look for things for free, but other than that, the place was great.

The room wasn’t as clean as expected. Dirty socks and empty bags of chips were found under the bed. There wasn’t any soap at the sink. Prank calls happened six times after midnight. I was told they would alert security and try to tell whoever was doing it to stop. Ended up leaving the phone off the hook when it wasn’t stopped.

Our party of 10 ranged from ages 6-70. EVERYONE enjoyed it. Accommodations were clean and inviting! Our family is already considering another trip back!

I really feel that if you pay $1300 for a stay, more should be included. You have to pay extra for breakfast, $20 daily parking and none of the activities are included. For that price, they should at least offer free breakfast and parking. I think maybe smaller kids would enjoy it more than my 11 year old. Yes, the water park is fun, but its not great. I simply don't think it's worth the money

It was our 1st time there and it was very nice minus being charged $740 hold charges for just 1 night, the manager did fix it for me though and the pillows were horrible! We will definitely return and bring our own pillows.

The rooms were not really as nice or updated as they should be for the money. The kids did enjoy the water park. However I feel 8 is an early closing time. The gift shop was extremely high. We went to get ice cream and they were out of almost everything. They said they had been for days. The gates going in and out were confusing. People were having to get out of their vehicles and it was backed up.

I know in business it’s all about making the dollar but if you’re charging $800 for one night, why put a gate up that you have to pay to park What since did that make you just just take take. I will be advising anybody I know not to visit the great Wolf Lodge. It’s not for us.

The property anf staff were amazing. The only thing i did not like was the traffic when trying to exit.

Evening Supervisor 6-11pm’ish time slot for us, she was horrible!!!! We were all in tears!!! and my sister who I hadn’t seen in nearly 20 years waited in the lobby for over 5 hours with two year old twins not being able to get in to their room, which she had receipts in her name with room already paid. She had to go back home!! I was flying in from Florida to meet them that night but my flight was delayed, then the airport gave away our reserved car and nobody else had a car! It was a nightmare for these two twins birthday!! The food was spoiling in my sisters car and had to bring it all inside the air conditioning. Then with her and the kids crying she had to load it all back in the car to drive back home at MIDNIGHT THAT SAME NIGHT!!!! The staff was responsive and kind. We all enjoyed our stay. We bought the Wolf Pass when we checked in and felt like we got our all the value out of it!

Great time with the family! The pull out bed could use more cushion but I’m sure I could’ve received it had I requested it. The water park is amazing and the food was pretty good.

This was our second time at the Concord Lodge and was every bit as good as the first time. My grandchildren had a great time and we will be back

I will rate this hotel 3.5/5, it is smaller than the one in Dallas, TX, there is no lazy river, bad quality toilet paper, there is no wash and dryer machine in the hotel, early check out time 11 am.

i liked everything. the starbucks and bojangles across the street, the only thing bad was the 15 dollars a day for parking

We had a great stay, but too crowded. Slides were 30 minutes or more wait time. Our room was fabulous!

Great wolf lodge charged my card and I never received my money back after they said they sent it 🙄

It’s a ripoff for the amount of money we spend on a room here. Room service did not show up after being called twice. After asking staff member questions about how to get around the park, they could not answer our questions because they said they do not know. Great wolf needs to hire staff that know about the park.

Wonderful Experience

My family loved everything. We enjoyed all the amenities and activities right in one location.

We received a gift card for our kids. We loaded the card to our room for charges. I had to go to the front desk FIVE TIMES for the card to work and then on our last day, with a significant balance remaining on the card, they wouldn’t allow us to use it. I don’t recommend gift cards from this location.

The only complaint was the vending machine and ice didn’t work on our floor.

Have stayed many times, staff is exceptional, facility is always adding ways for the kids to enjoy. Some of the park items are showing their age kiddie pool jetskies, and spray bars and such, nothing terrible just heavy use. We come several time's a year with our two and they always love it!

Went to the front desk 5 times every time they change them and they don't work, and finally at 7:25 pm they got them right working for us a family of six people, after staying locked out of room from 2:47 until 72l:25 pm

Then I get home and discover a bed bug in my backpack attached to my pajamas!

I just want to give a Huge shout out and thank you to this Great wolf lodge in concords n.c. staff!!!They are absolutely amazing..to the the girl who checked us in and the staff that threw the dance parties and pool dance parties for the kids!!!This place had the best,most friendly staff I have ever dealt with!!They where amazing with kids and it was absolutely epic!!!our family had the best fun filled time every moment we where there.This place absolutely is the go to when planning a vacation for yourselves or with your kids!!!I highly recommend the great wolf lodge in concord nc...They had free events for the kids every 30 minutes to the hour all day long for kids..Not to mention the pool dance parties and the water park!!We have been many times before,but this time the staff and the amazing things they had planned for the kids and family was top notch ..the best!!!everything was a breeze and the great wolf lodge employees have excellent customer service!!!I would give them a 100 starts if I could!!!It was mo ey well spent and totally worth it...We are already planning our next trip there!!!

Needs to have more handicap accessible parking near entrances.

We paid a deposit upon booking. When I checked in they had no record of the deposit despite my proof. They assured me I wouldn’t be overcharged. Until I was. Then I was told there was a $100 per night fee charged that would be refunded. It wasn’t. They buried the fee in other things and refuse to make it right. This resort is a scam.

Excellent stay. Will definitely be back. The staff are all really amazing. The rooms are spacious and I had the best night’s sleep on these mattresses. It rained the whole time and it had zero impact on our stay because there were so many awesome activities for the kids.

Stay was good. If you have little kids. Watch out for kids in the kid area pool and the adults. Because they don’t care to push you out of the or your kid. So the life guard should be watching for stuff like that also. Pillow in rooms definitely could be more comfortable. Not sure if it was just our room or others. But we have no soap in the shower. Restaurants are a little pricey except for Dunkin Donuts.

Pool was extremely full with the activity pool broken and out door shut due to weather so it was a sea of bodies in the wave pool. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful and Dunkin was good but we left the property for our meals as the food there looked like cheap cruise quality. Slides were fun when the lines were not too long. My 6 and 3-year-old loved it. It was my wife's version of hell so take that for what it's worth. Not sure if it is worth it for the price they charge.

I came to the water park with my Family. The kids had fun. The hotel had no laundry service onsite so you just have dirty wet clothes until you leave. After i checked out the park they charged my debit card 3 separate times for the same charge and im still waiting on a refund.

This was our first trip to GWL and we had a blast! Customer Service was impeccable and the lodge was so clean! We’ll definitely be coming back. One of the best experiences I’ve had at a resort!

The room was very clean and comfortable. The staff let us check in early which was nice. The food is just average and way overpriced, however there are food options just off the property. Not all activities are included, such as bowling. We had to pay $7 per game. This should have been included in the price like the water park. Also breakfast is way overpriced for food you can get for free at most hotels. It’s great for the kids, but hard on the wallet. The room was really clean and comfortable which is very important. Most of the staff were very friendly.

We liked that everything was in one place or near by. We didn't have to leave the property for meals. This gave the little kids and the big kids more time to play. It was amazing.

The place is really cool. Totally kid friendly. Lots of activities to do after the waterpark closes. The food on premise I thought was reasonably priced. Large one topping pizza $20.00. Large one scoop of ice cream 3.99. We brought snacks and soda. The kids loved it. I enjoyed the fact after we arrived there was really no need to leave. We would definately stay again and probably will..
