I Went Down On A Friday Checked The Room Out And Instantly Asked For A Refund. Hopefully I Get It

I walked into the lobby to the front desk and was immediately overwhelmed by the odor of marijuana and filth. I was afraid to touch anything, I walked out prepared to sleep in my car. It was graduation week and was so worried I wouldn’t find other accommodations at last minute. Thank GOD the Sleep Inn had one room available!

There were roaches in the rooms that was a terrible experience. The rooms had an order. However your attendant was very nice and helpful. Sorry just wouldn’t stay there again!

It looked decent from the outside. Rooms were nothing like the photos. They were dirty, in poor repair with even the linens being sparse and ripped. The plaster on the walls was peeling and the refrigerator was rusted. It had a kitchenette, but no dishes, silverware, or pots and pans to cook with. Only one thin towel and a bar of soap in the bathroom. No furniture but a bed on a metal frame, a nightstand, and TV cabinet that were in poor shape with the drawers of both unable to close properly. And let’s not forget the roaches and other various and sundry bugs present in the room.

The facility was so dirty, we did not end up staying

Probably the worst hotel I’ve EVER stayed in. Galway’s smelled of fresh pet urine to a point where you will want to throw up due to amount of ammonia in air. Blood and human hair on toilet. Toenail clippings next to bed on floor. Roaches

The room was extremely dirty and things were out of place. The beds were extremely hard and felt like you were sleeping on thin padded concrete. The elevator smelled like puke and the room smelled like mildew and smoke. I ended up cancelling the rest of our stay even though I had to forfeit part of my payment. We just could not stay there anymore.

The room was completely disgusting. There was poop on the walls in the bathroom. Dead bugs everywhere, the floor was so dirty that when you walked around barefoot, you have black stuff on your feet. The mattress was very uncomfortable, and the sheets had burn holes in them. The worst part is the room smelled like cat piss.

It's roach infested. The halls smelled terrible which seeped into the rooms, had to buy a glade plug-in to get rid of the smell. The tub was dirty, had to clean it myself. There was a smushed roach on the headboard which leads me to believe the housekeeping staff is trash. If you book for more than two people, the others can't connect to wifi. The smoke detector beeped every 5-10 seconds even when we took the batteries out. *Do not spend your money here, go down the road to the Sleep In.. they're clean, smells great, breakfast, AND CHEAPER!

This place was filthy my room had holes in the wall filthy carpet that was soaked with something the blinds were broken the whole building stunk i had to get a different hotel i didn't feel safe leaving my truck with work equipment in the parking lot the front desk person was on his phone so i had to wait to check in i really wish i could get a refund for this one id rather sleep in my truck than get a room here.

She gave me a key to a room on the second floor on the way to the elevator to go to the second floor there’s a huge piece of the ceiling missing and several buckets catching the water that is dropping from the ceiling. Reluctant, I go up to the second floor to see the room. When I walk into this room it smells of musk and mildew. Everything in the room (meaning the beds and lamps, etc.) were pulled to the middle of the floor. And it was candy wrapper papers all over the floor. Needless to say I would not be staying there as I would have to rearrange the entire room as well as clean it. I went back downstairs told the lady at the front desk. She apologized and told me that none of the housekeepers came in today and that they have all been calling out often. She gave me a key to a room on the third floor. I got on the elevator and went to the third floor once I got to the room. I tried three or four times to open the door, but could not. It was like someone had it barricaded from the inside. At that point, I didn’t want to see any other rooms. I took the key back to the lady at the front desk told her what happened she again apologized and said that there’s a lot of renovation going on. I canceled my reservation and left.

Booked this day of. Called them and told them we were getting in late as we were driving. They said it was no problem. Showed up at 3am and they canceled our booking as a no show and would not give our money bank and would not honor the booking. We are turning them into the bbb! What a scam!!! Now we have to find a hotel after driving all night.

Staff was great. My ceiling was leaking for 5 days and they moved us finally with 2 days left.

N/A Everything from the bugs to the attendant trying to walk into my room because he "forgot" he assigned the room to me and my family. The NO REFUND policy is ridiculous because the roaches come out to play once you sign the contract. I asked for spray, and the excuse was "the spray we have can't be sprayed with people in the room " or" you're only here for 2 days so the Orkin man won't be here either. I checked in late Saturday night /early Sunday morning. We left late Sunday morning. My reservation was from Saturday to Monday, but my family was so uncomfortable and scared. Lost money and no one to talk to about it. Never again

The customer service was great from check-in to check-out. The entstaff, from the one at the front desk to housekeeping to checkout with the person working the front desk, was awesome. There's nothing that comes to mind.

Didn’t know how long the bedding had been there but nothing looked clean. We actually didn’t stay, we asked for a new room and they didn’t have any available. Thank goodness we were able to get a refund and we stayed somewhere else.

I have been told its not a really good side of town, however i have been here a week and feel its perfectly placed. I havent had any trouble, the neighbors are pretty quiet and they allowed my animals. The price has been very budget-able. The staff is super friendly. All in all, 5 stars!

No breakfast which is not good and no pool not good. John and the entire staff are very nice and very helpful. It’s very quiet here and secluded which I like and there is a convenient store beside the hotel and everything, including shopping is near by and close restaurants. No pool and no breakfast and no complimentary coffee. No closets and no coffee makers in the rooms.

They never come to clean your room, the front desk does not even speak and when I said good morning twice. She look at me like. Why are you speaking to me. They are never open on time and the pets bark all day and piss all on the floors. It smells horrible in there!

Rooms bed had someone else’s hair in it. The blinds were covered in a very greasy/dirty film that you did not want to touch.

You are responsible for taking your trash to the dumpster. The hallways is a lovely odor combination of marijuana and Urine. Absolutely terrible room, my mattress the springs are broken in the middle of the bed. You also had to sign a waiver that if anything if taken from your car and/room they are not responsible.

This place is so dirty, the outside appearance is amazing, just step inside, you are in a totally different environment. I couldn’t get my money back, but the clerk allowed me to pick the room of my choice, the best was really close to the worst. The floors were dirty, the furniture was old and the refrigerator was so old, it was rusty, so afraid to put anything in it. There was no remote for the television, but I must say, there was a new microwave. The clerk printed out my bill, it stated 69.04, but my card was charged 98.69, what happened to the other 30+dollars. This was the was stay I’ve experienced in my 40 years of traveling.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone I know. It is not in a good part of town, the parking lot has no security lighting, I had to change rooms due to the heat going out, someone urinated in one of the stairwells, the police had to be called there at least 3 times in the 3 1/2 weeks I was there, and numerous maintenance issues in the rooms exist. I left because I was fearful of my own safety or my car was going to be broken into, since it is pitch dark when I go to work, and the stairwells doors do not always latch correctly.

At first appearance the room looked clean. However the place has roaches. You have to ask for linens between 11am and 3 pm, so we did without the 2nd day as we were not told on checkin. My daughter had to take out trash out as they don't do anything if you are on a 4 day stay. Overall big dissapointment

You can tell illegal activity is going on the first floor and in the parking lot whit a lot of abandoned vehicles no wonder u have a no refund available. When we asked for more towel they stated the didn’t have keys to the laundry room … there are signs by the elevator that clearly state clean linen and towels available at anytime

The second floor wreaked of pee. I guess that’s what you get for $80 a night. Either way it’s a place to sleep if you’re desperate.

As soon as I walked in my room, there were roaches in view running across the floor into the bathroom. There was also a terrible smell as soon as you enter the hotel. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Me and my girlfriend got a room at this place and it was so shocking we left immediately.the rug had odd black spots and the room looked more like a vip prison cell.

Me and my girlfriend got a room at this place and it was so shocking we left immediately.the rug had odd black spots and the room looked more like a vip prison cell.

When I left at 8 a.m. there was a sign saying that office will be open at 10:00 a.m. and any instruction of how self check out so l slide the cards key in the front desk window; A gentelman who was cleaning the hallway told me that the office open at 10 a.m. and to slide the cards Keys under front desk windows.

The place is not like the photos, they did not have the necessary supplies, the smell of humidity was very strong, they did not have the necessary bath towels for three people, it felt unsafe, the air conditioning had no maintenance, the smell was strong of humidity, the folder would feel damp

This property is not well maintained, the area surrounding the property is considered a bad part of town and not at all conducive for the families visiting their loved ones on base as they are not allowed any where near this. The check in area wreaked of cigarettes and weed. And there is only an actual person there for a short period of time during the day.

Floors were dirty and sticky, walls were filthy with little black spots which I’m assuming is from the Roaches I saw on the walls even the carpet was sticky and dirty, there was even a car up on blocks in the parking lot that looked like it had been there a while….horrible experience…DONT EVER STAY THERE!!!

The lady at the front desk when I checked in was very kind and she let me check out the room before I agreed to it. I was traveling with my dogs so I was glad that I found something affordable with my dogs however the room was pretty old and dirty there were spiderwebs and mold and mildew everywhere they had a kitchen stove but it was super dirty and no pots and pans to be able to cook. So i tuffed it out.. Then got the hell out. This place is more of a permanent residence for very low income individuals in the majority of the rooms. I paid over a hundred dollars per night but their sign says rooms weekly for 159 dollars. TOTAL RIP OFF AND DISGUSTING

I actually didn’t stay there. I requested to see the room prior to paying. The moment I walked into the building it was as if their A/C wasn’t working. The room itself was a complete lie when it came to comparison of the pictures and actual room. It was more of a cell block with two queen beds and dirty tile flooring. Very unwelcoming.

I made the mistake of not reading review because of a short notice trip and not being about to find Availabilities. Although the staff was very helpful the room was very dirty and there are roaches everywhere. The only thing clean a bathroom where the sheets on the bed. I thought was so dirty I wouldn't walk around barefoot.

This property need some major updates. I can tell that the locals has it as there living quarters which is fine but the place need some tlc immediately. Me and my kids spent most of the time out of the room in our car the whole place was full of roaches. Staff was not at the desk they gave us a room without a shower curtain the tv wasn’t working I wouldn’t recommend no one to stay here

It was dirty. The pictures on the website are not the same as on site. There are some pictures of the entry that if you look at them, they are different locations. The current location as a door reader to get in to the section where the rooms are. The pictures do not show this at all. These pictures are from most likely when the building was brand new and looking good, or a different location completely.

Desk clerk was rude. Had to wait an hour for Manager to return. She was rude also. I have never been to a hotel that requires each person staying in the room to have a picture of their ID on file. Absolutely ridiculous. If I'm paying for the room, I'm responsible, not everyone in the room. Will never ever go back there.

The only thing that I liked was the refrigerator and stove and microwave in the rooms and what I didn’t like was the bed which had no support and the roaches I was watching TV and a roach crawled right across the TV there was roaches everywhere in that room I couldn’t get out fast enough

I booked a non-smoking room. Upon arrival I had to phone the office and pretty sure I woke the front desk associate. When he finally got downstairs, i was told there were no non-smoking rooms and I couldn't switch because nothing else is available. Fine!! I get to the room (on the 4th floor & elevator is broken), flip on the light and roaches everywhere. I immediately left and thankfully got a refund the following day. I do not recommend staying at this place.

I didn't like that they had no swimming pool. The only elevator was out a few times and we had to use the stairs. The price was definitely excellent

Very sparse rooms. Terrible beds. Very noisy. You have to call to checkin but that took awhile for someone to show up. Just a very disappointing stay

It’s very dirty someone got threw out a widow said king bed in couch it was only full bed smoke was all over trash was all over heat didn’t work and no remote towels look like some one been working on a car

It has been an excellent experience so far.

Had to wait for 20 minutes in lobby to check because doors and windows was closed. There were roaches in the room in multiple areas. Towels were not white. Bed sheets had a odor

This stay in Bldg 1, sucked, noisy as hell all night long. Too dam close to the highway.

They have very nice staff and they made mt stay very warm and welcomly.

I have never ever experienced seeing roaches in a hotel before, and the service was poor, phone line in the room didn’t work, staff barely answer at the front desk...... Staying at Wood springs was one of the worst experiences ever!!!!!!

Overall I was pleased with the room’s comfort, the price and cleanliness but the receptionist was really unprofessional. She didn’t greet me when I walked in, and she was on the phone the entire time during my check in.

My stay was great the only problem was my room wasn't fully ready I didn't have an A/C unit in my room at first it took an hour to get an AC to my room the bed wasn't fully made no remote for the TV

It was bad! The bed was a spring mattress that you could feel every spring in the mattress. Roaches were seen multiple times. I left and booked another room with Country Suites. Hall was smelled awful. Bad experience!

I really enjoyed having a laundry here as well as laundry service. The staff was exemplary as well.

The staff was rude, the toilet did not work. And i was charged for an extra day and did not stay there.

There were roaches and ashes from cigarettes on the floor. The bed was made and in between the sheets there were guts from cigars. It was filthy

People live in this build as there home the hang out in the hallway smoking drug I stay in room 410 the people in room 408 was so loud that my kids couldn’t sleep the whole time we was there this is one of the worst place to stay in fort Benning

It was pleasant and secure. I felt like i was at my home away from home

The property was at a great location and the hotel was very comfortable. The weekly rates are unbeatable.
