The cabinet door for the fridge was thick with sticky stuff. The entry door had no seal around it, so you could literally see 1/4” of light from outside all around. We booked 4 nights. The room was not what we booked. The room was dirty. The bathroom looked like it was never cleaned. Hair every where. The toilet didn’t flush all the way so they provided an “extra trash can” for us to fill in the bath tub to use to pour down the toilet in order to flush it all the way. Out of all the light fixtures only 1 had a light bulb. The unit that held the fridge was broken and the fridge had black mold and a foul smell. Could not open without hitting your knuckles. The property staff never emptied the trash cans outside so it was just piled up in the walk ways that you had to walk past. Also it was right outside our room so the hot trash smell was over whelming. They did not have clean towel for us. I was told to come back in a hour for some, and then told to come back the next day. We ended up going to Walmart to buy our own. Staff were friendly until you needed something and then they were rude. None of the ice machines worked. Over all the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Honestly, I liked everything about the property. Check in was easy and quick. Our room was spotlessly clean. I was a little nervous because we were placed by the pool but it was nice and quiet through the night. :) Breakfast begin at 6:00 a.m. and it exceeded my expectations. There were eggs and sausage, biscuits, waffles, and bagels. Fruit, yogurt, cream cheese, etc. was available. I was impressed. The location was pretty great also, I don't know a lot about Columbus but it was close to everything that we needed. A+++

The location First of all, it’s the first Baymont that I’ve ever stayed in in my three years of DoorDash across the south that had roaches! The breakfast food was stale all the muffins all the bagels all the bread all the cereal. There was no hot water for coffee there is no hot water in the shower. THERE ARE ROACHES!!!!

Needs a serious deep clean!! The room smelled terrible, a combination of cigarettes and mold. Stained and torn couch. Just gross and nasty. We only stayed here because we had no other choice. EVERYTHING was completely booked in Columbus when we needed a room.

The hotel was a bit outdated on the furniture. I would recommend to hire pest control. I had to go to the front desk on two different occasions due to my key card not working after being gone for a few hours from the room. There was no ice/ice bucket. The complimentary breakfast was very minimal.

We booked 3 different rooms and ALL of them were dirty. The stuff even admitted they knew they were dirty and that the “housekeeping” they had was terrible. My mother had to be moved THREE different times until she got a room without hair and condom wrappers everywhere, after our 16 hour road trip. The “manger” was supposed to be helping us after all of our room keys randomly stopped working and took his time taking a personal call IN THE MIDDLE OF HELPING US. We were told we would get a discount. Didn’t. We were there for an entire day not able to leave our rooms without propping the doors open because they couldn’t give us keys. This place was extremely disappointing

The smell in the room and it smelled like animal urine. The carpet was dirty and it was 1 roach in the bathroom shower corner.

I did not stay for breakfast. The room had mold on a beat up couch also mold were you put your suitcases. The tub had black grease on it and so did the door comming into the room. The toilet looked clean I checked the bed and it looked good. If I was not going to only stay to sleep I would have left and found someplace different. Look above the only thing that would make my stay better would be a refund.

Nothing i had to change rooms because of mold smell and it looked run down. The second room had roaches everywhere the floor was wet when we came in the shower was dirty the sink was broken as well.

First off I had to wait 30 mins before anyone showed up to the front desk. Then he went to get some laundry for the guest that also was waiting with me for over 30 mins. Then he changed the rate if the room from original booking. Never again. If yall wanna keep business......put the bald guy somewhere else other than the front desk. He's awful! The guy at the front desk. A white, short, bald guy.

Breakfast was not good, they ran out of hot food an hour before breakfast was over, the no stick spray for the waffles was water only so waffles stick to griddle, bagels were very hard no way they couldve been in date.

My experience at this hotel was very unpleasant, among the dirty sheet, in the bathroom the dirty bathtub with hair, garbage on the floor and the toilet full of vomit.

Not much. When we checked in, the front counter rep had tattoos on his hands, long finger nails, and dirt under his finger nails. When we checked out, the front counter rep had purple hair. This place charges a $50 deposit on top of room price ( $75 if paid in cash) to ensure you don't bring in any pets or smoke in the room. We were not told anything about this prior to arriving. The air in the room did not work. The plugs were so loose, nothing would charge when plugged in. Also had water bugs present. Will not stay there again.

We had to change rooms twice during a surprise proposal. Once because the room was ridiculously dirty & dark due to the lights not working and then the second time because the rooms door battery was broken. After I set the room up finally to propose to my wife we left to see the Christmas lights upon arrival back to the room at midnight, the door stopped working yet again. Not only this but, after asking the front desk clerk(T) (very nice btw) to open the room her key didn’t work either. She grabbed maintenance (D). He had the manual key to open the door, he walks me and my soon to be wife to the room. It’s a surprise, so my wife jokingly says since I can’t look, peek for me to the maintenance. I allow it, and he walks semi into the room and says a derogatory based joke while physically thrusting his hips, saying we’re about to get it on. I look at him and say thats inappropriate behavior and it’s not the time for that and to leave. Right before he leaves I quote, he says “youre making a mistake.” Almost ruining the surprise right before we get into the room as well as being quite disrespectful. I then go down to the front desk to speak to management for a well deserved apology and refund and their Manager (A) on the phone with the front desk, says he doesn’t have anything to do with it. The Maintenance whom verbally harassed us, denied all allegations and the manager took his side until, I inquired for the law to be involved unless given our request for a refund. Resolved.

There was no hot water the entire stay.

The staff was amazing. I have no complaints with the staff. My issue was the condition of the rooms. The first room was not even cleaned and the beds were not made. It looked like someone just checked out. The rooms smelled, had bugs and a lot of water damage. This hotel looks nothing like the pictures. I immediately checked out and went to another hotel! I stay at a lot of Baymount hotels. This was not one of them. I cannot describe how bad this hotel was.

Non-smoking room stunk like an ash tray. No soap in the room. Blood stain on one towel. Door lock looked like it had recently been kicked in. Coffee maker hadn’t been cleaned—someone had poured already-brewed coffee into the water tank and it had been sitting there for who knows how long.

The sheets and towel sets need to be replaced with newer ones. The bathtub and bathroom sink were not clean. In addition, the air conditioner was on the lowest setting but it was not working properly so it was VERY humid in the room.

Room was very dingy! From rust & black stains in the tub, to smudges and handprints on the walls. Stains on the chair, the bench and throw in the bed. Literally floor to ceiling stains!

There was hair all in the bathroom floor. Empty toilet paper holder. No towels or wash cloths. When we asked the front desk for towels several hours after checking in, they told us all the towels were still being washed. This was a 2 night stay and they brought us 2 towels later on that night and zero wash cloths. The free shampoo was used and almost empty. The neighborhood was very sketchy. The whole place smelled of weed. Will not be back

Been using this hotel for years and never a problem, but one bad seed with a big ego has made it the hotel i will never use again.

We would like a refund for the few hours befor getting out of the filthy room and smelling with roaches, we were not happy to be told we could not get a recipe for the bill because going to you first.

The dining room was filthy and all tables were dirty and garbage around and in the floor. The housekeepers were sitting on the steps we had to use to get to the lobby and they were smoking pot. We had to make them move 3 times (to get breakfast, to get our stuff, and to checkout). The room was ok though.

This time the front desk lady was very helpful for a very late check in due to flight cancellation. Super awesome lady and friendly. My complaint is the 2nd bed was broken, as in if you laid on it, it would pop up almost vertical so laying on it was not going to happen. It was not a huge deal and I crawled in the other bed with the grand-baby. I let staff know we were leaving for awhile and asked if they could get it fixed, to which they replied they would. Came back at 9:30/10 pm to a broken bed again. Too burnt out from travels to even complain. But what was not cool was all the roaches I had to shake out of the bag of snacks for the baby and out of all our Toiletries. The hair in the bathtub when I went to bathe him and squished bugs in bathroom. I let the man at front desk know and he apologized and mentioned they “just sprayed for bugs” so that’s probably why we had so many.

To be honest not the best hotel stay. The girl at the front desk was great! I was locked in my original room so maintenance had to come remove the door to get me out and it was quick but the phone in the room was disgusting it had like jam or jelly on it. They were able to get me into a new room right away, but the whole property could use a deep cleaning. I also remind myself it was a cheap stay.

Worst experience of my entire life. They stole my money since day one. They had me run two cards saying that my $50 wouldn’t go through but in reality they were charging me for the entire stay when the stay had already been paid by a third party. They provided me a room that a door didn’t lock. I brought it to their attention and they said they would get it fixed and never did. I had to sleep with the chair jammed under the handle. Didn’t get any sleep. At 3am I heard cries of a child in pain and was very concerned. In the morning around 7am went to front desk made the manager aware that my door wouldn’t lock and that I didn’t feel safe in the room I was placed in. I mentioned about the child crying and he told me it was probably a cat. The carpet was torn the bathrooms were stained and dirty, the furniture all had rips and dings. The bed was extremely comfortable but everything else was horrible. I was transferred to a room worse than the first but atleast the door locked. All night all I heard was commotion and people yelling. I couldn’t sleep felt very unsafe. Woke up an noticed that the money they stole upon my arrival was taken out again and submitted another complaint. Had major issues with them taking money from my personal bank account making me negative in my account and not only did they take money from one card they stole money from both my accounts. By the 2nd night of unable to sleep feeling so unsafe in the place I asked to be checked out Police were called

The first room, the cable didn't work. The young lady at the desk, very sweet and professional gave us another room. Cable worked, the room was just not inviting. Furniture, was old, torn, and the smell was awful. The air conditioner, barely did it's job. We had some plumbing issues at home. We needed a shower, amd a place to lay our head. It was tolerable. Honestly, my wife and i will probably never go back. Especially, for the price we paid.

I had to kill two cockroaches in the bathroom. The room smelled of cigarette smoke. It does not look like the room has been deep cleaned since it was first made. Overall awful experience. Felt like there were things crawling around my family all night. There were also spider webs on all of the walls.

This property seemed promising based on previous reviews, however when I arrived my room smelled like mold, the floor was wet, the shower had rust deposits throughout the entire tub, and it was generally unclean. I did not feel comfortable taking my shoes off at any point in my stay aside for sleeping if that tells you anything. The room warranted a full bed bug check, and while I did not find bugs (thank goodness) I did find multiple cigarette burns in the mattress. I was supposed to stay for 3 nights, but ended my trip (and found a new hotel) after 1 due to the condition. One positive was the breakfast. Although fresh fruit was not served, it was a typical continental breakfast and I was satisfied.

This place looks nothing like the pictures posted by Expedia!! There was mold everywhere, it smelled like smoke, and the bathtub was not usable!!

Room was a non smoking room and smelled like cigarettes had to purchase air freshner. There were dirty areas in the room specifically in the corners. Refrigerator rack was broken. A electric outlet by the desk didn't work. A lamp was missing a light bulb. Single chair was dirty. I requested a new towel and some coffee room, service said they would be back in 30 minutes, and never did. Pictures on website are deceiving.

Noticed hair on the bathroom floor that was neither of ours, the boyfriend killed two cockroaches during our one night there, was put into room 215 at first and there was a poo already in the toilet, flushed and it was clogged, moved rooms and thats when we saw the roaches.. don’t recommend this facility..

The poor condition of the hotel overall does not warrant the online ratings received and the daily rate. Both were too high for the condition. There seemed to be a few shady characters hanging around the hotel at night. The room was clean, but in average condition. The breakfast was good - hot and substantial - for this type hotel.

Absolutely disgusting. The online photos were misleading. This establishment appears to be permanent housing for druggies. During our stay we were concerned about our safety and the security of our belongings / vehicle. The facility smelled terrible and was in bad shape. Strangely enough, we were charged a $50.00 "incidentals fee" - just in case the room was smoked in or pets were brought in... is this a joke? A week later, no reimbursed this "fee". Never again, in the future, we will do better homework and not be in such a hurry for a cheap place to stay!
