The only negative is that you have to pay $12 for parking

Clean rooms. Excellent staff! Free WiFi & yummy breakfast w/ an excellent variety for breakfast! Downtown shops just as you step ou of the hotel.

Even though this hotel is located downtown with wide variety of restaurants around, i still chose the complimentary breakfast during my 5 days stay. I was little disappointed i had to pay for parking on the property and also was prompted to sign in to become a member of Hilton Hotel otherwise i would be charged to use their Wi-Fi.

Convenient to so many things!! Everything one needs is either there or within the asking distance!!

Parking is not free. Breakfast was disappointing. The mattress was about ten years overdue for a change. Noisy parties in the hotel, every night, all night.

Pros: - We were able to walk to our dinner reservation a couple of blocks away. You can easily walk to just about anything in the core downtown business district. - Room was quiet and spacious. - Breakfast was good (and included in the price). Cons: - Parking is in a gated lot on premises and costs an additional $12 per night. I understand this (given their location). Also, the lot is a 2-story deck. If you arrive late, there is a good chance you'll need to park in the lower level, take an elevator up one floor to the exterior deck, and then enter the hotel from there. This isn't a major problem, just something to be aware of. It is a trade off versus the other conveniences of their location. If we have tickets for an evening performance in Columbus later in the year, we'll likely return here.

Great staff. I didn't like that they don't clean the rooms every day. I also didn't like that they don't have a restaurant on premises.

The proximity to everything downtown was perfect, everything was within walking distance. Breakfast was great too!

The Hampton Inn in Columbus GA, has wonderful staff, clean and spacious rooms and all areas were nice and clean, the breakfast had great varieties and the kitchen staff is very attentive. The front desk personnel is very welcoming and nice, and made sure we were comfortable.

Paying for parking is ridiculous. Beds were harder than preferred, and breakfast was lacking selection and everything tasted like it was prepared hours prior to serving.

The hotel is located in the center of downtown Columbus, just a half-block off Broadway. I think you can park in a wide space out front for check-in, but we just grabbed an angled space across the street. Check in was easy. Parking (in their private gated 2-level lot) was an extra $12 per day, but seemed reasonable given the convenience. The street the hotel is located on (11th) is one-way towards the river, so when you exit their lot you need to turn right and loop back around a block to get back to Broadway. Our room was on the 5th floor. It was spacious. Views were mostly of other hotels. It seemed quiet when we stayed there, but there was no floor above us. The walls didn't seem that thick. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was pretty average. They had a variety of breads (mostly slices and some bagels), a waffle machine, cereal, some fresh fruit, etc. Check-out was quite fast. If the weather is nice, you can easily walk to any downtown venue from here. The River Center (concert hall) is just over 2 blocks away. There are a lot of restaurants with 1 - 2 blocks. We will be returning to Columbus in the spring and booked this place again.

Room and hotel is nice. Loud drunks outside of our door at 445 am and loud people a lot of the night on street below our room was biggest complaint

The overall property was good and I enjoyed my stay. The hotel was clean with minor areas that should have been touched up during cleaning. I didn’t come down for breakfast but I love the idea it was available for guest. The location was perfect with entertainment, shopping and food walking distance from the hotels front door. I can see myself staying at this property again.

We have a clean room and we slept well for that reason. The staff are friendly and attentive.

One elevator was broken, so we had to wait for long periods of time. Staff was not friendly. My room card was not working, so after going back to the desk twice I asked if someone could accompany me to the parking elevator to ensure I wouldn’t have to walk back around and I was told that I could have just walked down the stairs or outside ramp.

We booked the same day when most hotels in the area were full. It’s in the heart of downtown. Easy and courteous check in process. The room was clean and the beds (although quite low to the ground) were extremely comfy. My family had a great night of sleep. Breakfast was fresh and hot. We had no complaints. Will use again.

This hotel was OK. I am relatively pleasant. They were fairly strict about the check in process, which I found to be cold and somewhat rude. But once they got you checked in or whatever it was fairly pleasant. The room was clean. The bed was maybe slightly on the hard side but nothing bad. The AC worked but was loud. The workout facility was outstanding. I really enjoyed that. The location was quite good with just a short walk to the Riverwalk area and a short walk to most of the good dining in the area. Their breakfast was probably better than average for this type of facility. It was overall okay but I would probably choose a different place next time I am in the area because there is probably a better stay in that town.

We have stayed here twice and both times were a very pleasant experience. If we are ever back in Columbus, GA, I would definitely rebook! Plus we were in the center of the town, and right by a gorgeous walking stroll along the river.

This hotel exceeded my expectations! Not sure if it was recently renovated but it looked brand new! The carpet, walls, ceiling, everything was spotless! 10/10!

Had an excellent stay for two nights at this Hampton Inn. Parking was super convenient (for a small fee). It's two blocks to the Columbus Riverwalk, right on Broadway, so convenient to everything downtown. Rooms were clean and the property was well-maintained. Someone checked in to make sure everything was okay, and reception staff always welcomed me with a big smile and "hello" every time I entered. Would stay there again 10/10.

The rooms ate clean and modern. The area around the hotel has stores and great options for dining. There is a relaxing riverwalk and interesting architecture in the area. The area has many historical aspects to explore.

Location is the best. Much to do. The riverfront is a great walk. Restaurants and shops. Milkshake Mommas next door and the Black Cow Restaurant a short walk away are two great spots.

From check in to check out…everyone was so friendly and positive. The room was in such clean conditions. The breakfast was so good as well. This is also conveniently located in downtown Columbus on Broadway, so you are able to walk to a lot of places including the Springer Opera House, the RiverCenter, Riverside Theatre, the Chattahooche river and so many great restaurants,

The room was very pleasant and well appointed. Our only problem was that that are several very loud clubs blaring music very loudly half a block from the hotel, and they stay open till 3:00 am. And yes, the clubs were on our side of the building. We asked at the desk if there were any local ordinances about noise, but the attendant wasn't aware of anything. In the future, we'll book a room on the other side of the building.

The room was really clean; so was the lobby and the staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. We had to park a moving truck in the downtown area and they created a plan so it would be an easy process for me to navigate. Also, hooked us up with some good snacks for being honor's guests

Everything about the Hampton Inn and their staff was beyond amazing. We evacuated from FL due to Hurricane Milton and it couldn’t have been a more welcoming stay. Every employee was pleasant and just helpful in every way. We travel a lot and this hotel will always be one of my favorites.

Be careful when you stay here. There is a brick wall on 2nd floor rooms. There is no view at all. Very depressing.

We always stay at the Hampton Inn when in Columbus. It is clean, the service is always fabulous, and the location is perfect. The beds are comfy and there are black out curtains so you sleep well. It is also reasonably priced.

Our air conditioning unit sounded like a dying Tyrannosaurus. Very loud, very aggressive and probably produced impact tremors. Staff was lovely.

The hotel was great, the staff friendly, and the facilities spotless. They were helpful suggesting other things to do and directions. The area dining is right next to hotel. Since CSU is located across the street there is lots of choices for restaurants, bars, coffee houses, and ice cream. We will always recommend the Hampton Inn Downtown. Columbus is delightful.

I was traveling in late (arriving 2/3am). I called and asked if it would be an issue before booking and they just asked for my name so they could expect me. I made the booking based on how kind and accomodating they were for the arrival time, but when i arrived it was even better. The staff were amazing. The room was exceptionally clean and comfortable. The location downtown was also convenient and beautiful. I would have liked an extra day to enjoy their facilities and explore.
