Location was great and staff was very friendly Bathtub drain was clogged and very dirty. Had to use gloves to pull out copious amounts of hair and also had to sanitize the tub.

The staff was all so friendly and welcoming. The facility and room was super clean. We had a studio room and there was everything we could have needed and more available. If you needed an extended stay with all the comforts of home, this is the place to be. We would definitely stay there again.

The front desk was polite and helpful.

I was traveling with a special needs adult, and the furniture was unusable old. The room was severely in need of a deep clean. Had to wear shoes on carpet and bathroom floors~ thoroughly filthy. The property is evident that it needs a lot of remodeling and refurbishment. It just was not a very clean facility and furniture again very unusable broken recliner chair ~ old peanut shells flowing out of bottom when trying to use, room should not have been in commission to be honest. The bathroom was in deep need of cleaning and or refurbishment. Room was very close to the front desk and all through the night the staff would come out of the office and not be aware that the door would slam open and close each and every time and it was not a very peaceful sleep especially for a special needs individual that sleeps lightly.

I will not stay at that location again. The only good part of this stay was the staff. They were friendly, gave us good information regarding our stay. The room was not good 204

When I checked in, the lady at the front desk was helpful and friendly. I spoke to one of the male staff members as I walked through, he was passing back behind the counter, but he just looked at me and kept walking. Everything else exceeded our expectations for the money.

This was one of the worst stays that my partner and I have had. Although we had some friendly encounters from the staff (Monica was super sweet and did what she could to assist), the room(s) were not the best. We did a quick drop off to go visit family and after coming back at 11pm to fully get settled, we were greeted by 2 live roaches and 1 dead one in the middle of the kitchen floor. Our recliner was broken - after attempting to close it, another roach crawled out from underneath by our bed, and there was another under the kitchen counter. After requesting to move rooms since it was late and most other places were already booked since it was Thanksgiving week, our 2nd room didn't have any bugs that we could see, but there was a 2nd microwave that smelled like burnt cigarettes and coffee beans on the desk because the main was out of order, the side tables and remote were very sticky and looked like they hadn't been wiped down, and the chairs looked very used and abused. Didn't help that our kitchen light was flickering and eventually went out on us the last night of our stay as well.

they have a little shelter and food for a kitty on the property I absolutely love this!! The only drawback was that I was expecting a breakfast but they do have items you can buy just no breakfast area. For the price it is nice staff is amazing and no real complaints.

I really liked the kitchenette in the room and the close proximity to restaurants. Our room was very clean, and the hotel was pet friendly, so we were able to bring our dog. We were having our AC system removed and a new system installed which required us to leave our home for a couple of days (there was no AC during the process) and the weather was in the mid 90s and above. We enjoyed our stay.

I was resting on the bed, then a big brown bug crawled to the back of my hand, I swiped it out to the white sheet then went to get an tissue and take it to the trash can. I didn’t realize it might be a bed bug at the first encounter, until I was waken up around 5:30am by itching in my foot. Suddenly I recalled the brown bug I saw early, then I searched bedbugs on google to see the look and size, along with my itching, I went to the front desk of the hotel and reported to them immediately (per the google search, so the bedbugs issue won’t spread to nearby rooms or other room and more importantly to the next people who will reside into this room. ) I asked the front desk lady to give me a proof that I reported this bug issue, first she said she would send me an email, after she talked to her manager she said nothing she could do other than giving me a few trash bags to contain my belongings so I hopefully won’t bring bedbugs to my home that will cause me up to few thousands dollars for hiring the professionals to rid of the bedbugs. Awful, my whole trip was ruined. (I don’t take a picture at the first moment because I didn’t realize it might be a bedbug until I was waken up by the itching on my foot.)

The bed was comfortable and we were able to get adequate rest for one-night as a stop through.

This was my first time not ever having house cleaning come to the room until you leave so we had to get our own fresh towels and such but our carpet needed vacuumed and I had to buy sanitizing wipes to clean the bathroom because the toilet had stuff stuck to the seat and down the bowl. It wasn't the cleanest but the people are what made a better stay.

I came here for daughter’s basic training graduation for 3 nights. It was super quiet as far as the other guest. The only complaint was when everyone including us close the room doors it slammed very loud and the water in the shower wasn’t hot enough it was baby warm. Other than that it was fine!

This hotel was very much misleading as far as it's website. Was not stated that room would not be cleaned, at all, would have to especially request necessities like fresh towels and toilet paper. Air-conditioning was sub par, going completely hot and cold at times. Website advertised pet friendly but no mention of fees until upon inquiry a day later after calling. Rude clerk, rude manager. Wouldn't recommend to my worst enemy.

Our stay at the Candlewood

We had an awesome stay here, the staff and property was great. Hotel was clean!

It was a wonderful stay!!

Located in the outer Northeast suburbs off US-80, it is near many of the more desired forms of consumer retail and restaurant venues. There's an AMC cineplex a half-mile West. They have a small gym on the 1st floor, as well as a COVID era Snack area which I did not use. The room was clean, spacious enough, with lots of outlets. The remote was a little underwhelming for browsing purposes. The shower curtain was cloth, making showering a chore! Great shower-head , my main complaint would be the quarter panel curtains! The safety lighting from the parking lot is of course a super bright LED! There's no way to blacken the room to get to sleep! Surprisingly expensive daily rates in Columbus in relation to my travels, and no it is not inflation!

You really should have a continental breakfast instead of charging for EVERYTHING. This addition would make Candlewood my goto when traveling!

I didn’t get to stay at this property but the young lady was great with helping us with our issues we had with checking in. I will probably stay at this one next time

Hotel was nice, very neat, just didn’t like having to take dirty towels down stairs to get clean towels and take out my trash. Didn’t realize this was policy. Other than having to make my bed and clean my room everything was ok, staff was very friendly.

Loved everything about the hotel even the staff was excellent!!!!

me and my boyfriend had a great stay but the room was very small and the bed was small also , me and him were about to get in bed and a roach was crawling across it so it gave us the creeps but they had a great bathroom but other then that we had a great stay.

We (bf and I) were booked in for a week, but left after one night. We had previously stayed in a different nearby hotel, but wanted the stove top and fridge so we could cook for ourselves. Instead, we killed 3 roaches before bedtime, and two the next morning as we packed up. There was cockroach feces all through the dishwasher, and when we were shown another room after asking to be moved away from this room, it appeared to be in worse condition. Signs through the building to take our trash straight out to dumpsters, and when we got there the elevator wasn’t working, so we carried our stuff up to the third floor. Fortunately it was fixed by the time we moved out the next morning.

Did not care for the barking dogs during the day and late at night.

Didn't like the entrance to the property due to a hill and traffic.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff.

I could not for the life of me get the wifi to work. Overall it was nice, I arrived late at night and they were quick to get me in my room which I appreciated, and it felt safe.

Hallway carpet was dirty. Stepped out of room and hallways were freezing. It was in the 40s outside and it felt like the air conditioner was on. Breakfast area was not clean and not convenient. For example, cereal was offered but there were no bowls, utensils or milk. Staff didn’t seem empowered to do anything but check people in and out.

Nice TV and plenty of electrical outlets and USB outlets all over the room.

One of the reasons we booked this hotel was for the pool. It was green & closed to guests our entire stay. The bathroom water was lukewarm & low pressure. The room itself was clean & spacious.

Overall, it was a pleasant stay. I did have problems with defective equipment like inoperable cooking range fan and light and a broken clothes dryer. There was also an instance where a cockroach was found in our room. The best part of the hotel though is it’s staff- they will do everything to ensure you have a pleasant stay. Just let them know what your problems/issues are and they’ll do their best to resolve it. Will definitely stay here again.

Clean rooms, very nice staff and pet friendly!

Within 30 Minutes of arrival, we saw a dead roach on top of the refrigerator. The baseboards and walls were filthy.

1st room had no dishes until I opened up the dishwasher. They were in there and all dirty. I ask for another room. Reluctantly the staff gave me another room and it was worse than the 1st. All dirty dishes left in dishwasher. Pool was green and closed. Staff was rude. Shower was not clean. A/c unit is in a motion sensor so when you go to sleep with it set at 72, you wake up in an hour or so and it’s 80 degrees because it shut off thinking the room was vacant. This will be the last time I use Expedia. So not stay there or any IHG property.
