    We came to stay 2 night for a softball tournament. Upon arriving our door and many others looked to have patched up holes all over door. Looked like bullet holes. When we entered, it had a very musty smell. The room looked good when we entered, but quickly found out a few things. Freezer in frig was completely frozen over and nothing could be put in it. It was clean otherwise. Beds were clean, but round dinette table had crumbs on it. The tile floor was filthy and sticky in several spots. They had gotten rid of continental breakfast and only had coffee in lobby. Oh, and no coffee maker in room. They did have a microwave and of course the frozen over frig. The first white guy that checked us in was very nice, but the Indian guy that checked us out was not very friendly. There was also a light missing above sink, which left 1 light. It was loud a few times with arguing in rooms next to us, and right outside our door since that's where ash tray was.

    The room was OK. The room was clean. All the staff were perfectly fine just the security of the room the secondary latch to secure. The door was broken and nonexistent and then some of the outlets don’t work and also there was no TV guide in the room and you didn’t get all the channels but checking in and checking out was smooth and easy. Staff were very helpful.

    The room was not clean at all the drawers in dressers were dirty the beds covers looked like they just remade the bed instead of changing the sheets maybe more times then one but I checked for bed bugs I didn't see any so that's why I didn't make a fuss but could definitely be a lot cleaner. Other than that our room did what we wanted it to give us a place to sleep and shower

    The amenities could improve, a workout gym maybe. They are not good with the "smoking" and "non smoking" room designations. I never want smoking and they put me in a room that reeked of smoke. Friendly, helpful staff and fairly clean room though.

    The bedding was stained. Had roaches. Every time we turned our heads we seen a roach. Bath tub had looked like it hadn't been cleaned. Floors was filthy. Like they hadn't been mopped in a very long time. And on my check out day I woke up with bites on me. Assuming bed bugs. I my thing that would leave bites on me like this that itch and I'm allergic to bed bug bites so I welt up big time. So not happy at all with my stay.

    First of all, I paid extra for a third person, but they only gave us two towels in the room so I had to go ask for another one. My bed had a big stain on the bedspread, so I thought I’ll just turn that back, and when I did, the stain had gone all the way down to the sheets, so that makes me wonder if they laundered the bedding? After that, I did not really wanna sleep in that bed but I had no choice. A shower the next morning made me feel better. I took photos of the stain and the bedding, but there is no option to attach to this review. Would never stay here again unless I needed a pet friendly motel.

    The door frame had been broke into before and wasn't fixed properly so you could pick the door. The bed was hard as a rock couldn't get a good night's rest. The parking was terrible it was hard getting in and out. We found hair in the bed

    As soon as I walked into the room it felt like a sauna and I had to immediately turn on the A/C which was shut off for some reason, in the middle of Summer, in Tennessee. Energy Conservation I guess? There were marks on the walls, a rustic odor, and the sheets and towels were dirty. Despite all that, I was able to fall asleep quickly once the room was cool enough, but this property as a whole is really showing its age.

    Nothing. I should have followed my gut and asked for a refund when I arrived and the lobby was locked, and I had to check in through a nighttime window at 4:00PM. We checked out after about an hour after switching rooms once after my non smoking room smelled heavily of smoke. The second room’s smell wasn’t much better. There was what appeared to be a bloody hand print on the back of the bathroom door. The floors were filthy with sticky residue in places. The toilet had pee in it and hadn’t been flushed, so it was not cleaned from the previous guest or else the “maid” used it and didn’t flush. The microwave smelled and had sticky food residue inside. Hairs were in the bathtub. The ice machine smelled and had green and yellow junk around it and black mold up inside it. The stairs were cracking. The sheets had stains on them. Outside the structure was falling apart in places. After about an hour (we had to find another hotel to go to) My husband went to the front desk to ask for a refund. The front desk guy told my husband he could not reimburse us because we had booked through booking.com. I called booking.command they said the hotel ran our card so they needed to reimburse us because they had our money. Booking.com called the hotel and the front desk guy lied and said we never came to him to ask for a refund. We drove back to confront the front desk man about lying and he said that booking.com must have misunderstood because he didn’t say that. Then he told us we had been in the room for over an hour so his manager would have to decide on a refund or not. This was Sat afternoon and he said the manager would be in Monday morning. We asked him to call his manager, and he said he had already tried to call him and was not able to reach him. It’s been 3 days and management is avoiding us and will not reimburse us thus far. This is a horrible hotel, and I called the police to investigate what appeared to be a bloody handprint in the bathroom.

    Both rooms were very dirty. Blood stains on the sheets, used soap and towels in the bathroom, floors and nightstands were sticky. Trash under the side of the bed. Hair on towels and bedding. Call front desk to ask for clean towels and bedding and were told they didn't have any. Only stayed one night (due to how late we checked in)of the 2 we booked.

    The room smelled, the floor was bubbling up, the bathtub was dirty. The toilet didn't flush properly. The water in the shower was difficult to adjust the temperature. The chain lock was missing. On a positive note, the bed was clean and comfortable.

    The receptionist was very kind and helpful, however we were woken up this morning at 8:30 in the morning with a knock on the door and one of the cleaning people entered our room. My boyfriend had gotten off of work at midnight and was excited to be able to sleep in. We did not know who it was that just came in our room unexpectedly but I could have been undressing or anything so it was a very scary moment and we will not be coming back to this hotel.

    This is the most disgusting room I have ever stayed in. There is absolutely no chance this room has EVER been cleaned properly. Our shoes stuck to the floor, there were visible stains, dirt, grime, and filth everywhere we looked. I am absolutely blown away and completely disgusted.

    My mom and I were in town for a funeral, and needed a place to stay. It was 6 minutes away from the funeral home. It was very convenient. Only issues was that the remote control to the TV didn't work, and a member of the cleaning crew walked into our room Sunday morning. Very weird.

    The people surrounding my room were very suspicious. I heard screaming and you can hear everything in the next room from your bathroom. I believe the sheets were clean but very stained. Bathroom had used toilet paper and the shower was gross.

    When attempting to check in we were told we had booked a smoking room. If so it was inadvertent as we have allergies. Clerk said there was a non-smoking available so we asked to be changed.     Well when I checked in they gave me a non smoking room last one they said this is what I wanted when I walked in the familiar smoke smell hit me so I checked under the mattress to find a crack pipe and a used drug straw wrapped in a wash cloth so I went back to office and they gave me there best handicap room to where the shower head was 4’ high and I’m 6’.2” and it had a full high tub I’ve never saw that for a handicap anyway the bed was so hard but I was tired and made it overall $124.00 a night SUCKED NOT WORTH $40

    For the price, this hotel was bare bones minimum, not even a box of tissues in the room. The building needs serious renovation, the towels were very worn and thin, and the lobby stayed locked, indicating safety concerns. We just needed a place to stay overnight, but for the price, a few more extras and some coffee in the morning would have been a whole lot better.

    they still had the lobby closed and their reason was covid (whatever). The staff was friendly enough though but it was impersonal speaking to them through a window. The room was OK but it had an odd smell. Mold/mildew in the corners of the bathroom. The shower had a stream of water coming from the pull out valve and it leaked. the bed was very uncomfortable and while the sheets didn]t smell clean, they didn't smell dirty. The comforter did smell dirty so I took it off to sleep. There was also a toilet paper roll on the floor at the foot of the bed. For the quality of the room it was very overpriced.

    We arrived late at night after driving all day. Apparently for COVID-19 safety reasons, the lobby was closed. However, this meant we had to wait in a tiny vestibule with numerous other customers arriving, not a mask in sight, which seems far less safe. The computer system was down, and the desk clerks just ignored us for about 20 minutes with no updates or apologies. Despite having a reservation, we did not get the room we reserved, and still had to wait over 30 minutes to check in (we were first in line). When we finally got to our room, we found the bedspreads dirty with chunks of food or something on one bed. The towels had dirty marks on them as well. Finally, with the lobby closed, there was no breakfast, which would have been nice to know in advance. Given the scarcity of hotel rooms in the region that night, we paid nearly $200 for a dirty $60 room at best.

    Don't stay here. Front desk lady has the worst attitude. Left out for work and had my wife renew our keys and they refused to let her back in the room which was paid. Wouldnt let her get our dog or personal belongings either.

    The property was incredibly disgusting and I would have not stayed there but there was no other properties. The faucets all dripped, the floor was warped, mold everywhere. When I walked in the floor looked like someone with muddy boots had already walked all over it. Bed had stains everywhere. When they did the turn down service they left their cleaning supplies in the room. The area is not bad, and the staff was ok, but I am going to avoid this chain moving forward.

    Rooms are filthy. Changed rooms hoping it would help. Not. I personally purchased cleaners, paper towels and disinfectant and scrubbed the place. Dirty bedding, dirty towels, will not put any of my items in drawers - looks like bugs and bug poop, or they didn’t check drawers (all drawers) for what appears to be flea poop, or someone sprinkled pepper throughout. The food chunks stuck in and on microwave and fridge was disgusting. Broken clothes hangers. Filthy bathroom. Stained bedding, stained towels (big ole dark gray stains on almost all towels). I took pics and showed to prop assistant. He apologized and brought me plastic clothes hangers that I think were his personal (they were not hotel inventory). The Red Roof in Columbia Tennessee is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. The only nice thing I can say is the desk clerk and property assistant are pleasant to deal with. If not for other hotels being booked up I would have changed hotels. This place is more like a one star cheap motel. Yet they charge $100 night. Not even worth $50 per night if they cut their price in half. An awful experience.

    The room stunk of stale smoke and “rent by the hour” clients. The sink counter was held up by unfinished 2x4’s. The shower had cigarette burns on it. The sheets had brown and pink stains, I’m guessing from the aforementioned “rent by the hour” clients. Even though I was able to sleep in a room, I still had to use a sleeping bag. This room and property is GROSS.

    The morning check-out staff was quite nice and much more friendly than the check-in staff the night before. He welcomed me into the office and offered coffee for our trip home. The room was adequate. The bed was comfortable and it was fairly quiet. The bathroom could use some attention as it is looking well worn. I was just happy to have a place to sleep for the night since the area was very busy with travelers.

    The hotel on the outside was kinda shady but the room itself was clean and comfortable. Should’ve been a much cheaper rate for where and what it is.

    I was denied checking in as they said I did not have a reservation and did not honor the reservation I made via this app. I spent over 3.5hrs trying to get this solved via customer service with Expedia and it wasn’t until after 4am before I was told I would be refunded. This was the worst experience I ever had! Wasn’t able to sleep, had to drive an additional 2 hours to get to destination and no offer of satisfaction was made from Expedia.

    While I appreciate that Red Roof is trying to improve the location I was met with a look of confusion and a little frustration that I was checking in. She found the details of my arrangements online then agreed to give me my room. The room was dirty the floor had marks showing where previous tenants had been there there was no toilet paper on the roll and the roll they had available had a puncture from something but I used it anyway because that was all they had. I left whoever takes care of the room a 5 dollar tip but I wanted to leave a note that said next time clean the room

    I booked a non smoking room. I even called ahead and the man I spoke to stated that it would be available if website says it’s available. When we arrived it, we were told we would have to take a smoking room. Because that was all that was available. I had already paid online for nonsmoking and has reservation. The room smelled so bad with smoke, bedspread had 4 cigarettes burns in it, bathroom light was cracked, the little fridge had trash in it and bed shirt had stained yellow sports. The staff was unkind and dismissive of the condition of e room. I had to pay 122 for what should’ve been a 60$ room. I’ll booked here because recent review stated it was nice definitely wasn’t. Stay away

    The hotel room was very dirty, dirty hand prints all over the back side of the bathroom door (pics), mop boards were filthy (pics) , towels had hair wads in them, sheets on the bed didn't look like they were changed , i had a room with 2 queen beds for a family of 4 and only enough towels and soaps in the room for 1 person, a half of roll of toilet paper, toothpaste splattered all over the front of cabinets (pics) .. i asked for a NON SMOKING room and as soon as you walked in you could smell Marijuana had been smoked in there... very disappointed with the stay..

    The people were very nice and the price was good and the rooms looked nice from a distance. But they need to do a little better job at cleaning. The baseboards were very dirty. And the breakfast consisted of cereal and little Debbie's.

    Upon check in, our room had no tv, it had been taken out of the room, we were given another room. All the parking was taken, and the owner was double parked, blocking off parking to customers. I gave a review to Expedia on how check in was and the front desk called our room to ask us to change our review to a more positive review. So incredibly tacky, something I’ve never experienced anywhere in my travels before. Towels were old and stained on top of it all.

    Room was not handicap friendly, although we asked for that. Room was dirty and smelled of smoke. We mentioned it when we checked out and the lady accused my father (a non smoker) of smoking in the room. Didn’t even look at the room even though we asked her to. Just accused him since we told her it smelled like smoke. Never will stay in another Red Roof Inn.

    Room was nicely appointed until you walked in the bathroom Bathtub had open holes where a grab bar should be. TV sound is so muted that on the highest setting you still could not hear TV with hvac fan running.
