The front desk gentleman was very accommodating and pleasant!

Stairs are not vacuumed. Curtain rod in the bathroom had loose screws resulting in the shower curtain to slide in the middle leaving both ends open. Missing light bulb in the lamp shade near the TV. All light bulbs are full of dust. Front desk guy said he'll bring coffee maker in my room in about 30 minutes but he never did. Hair dryer is not working.

The room was fresh and clean equipped with all specified in advertisement, thank you SOLITUDE

It said non smoking room but the room was smelling of cigarettes and we were asked to go away for almost an hour for them to air out the room (it didn't change much) Then the single seater couch 😭😭. First of all it isn't necessary and it was disgustingly dirty especially on the armrests and headrests. Honestly for nearly $100 this was the worst..... If we could we would have got a refund and gone to share our room with him since there was a scarcity of rooms due to the graduation at Fort Jackson.

The attendant was very helpful. There was a dirty towel in the bathroom. After leaving our fitted sheet was taken off the bed and there were roaches in bathroom and table. The window was open near the door and cigarette holes were on the blanket on our bed. Also a cigarette burn on the bathroom tub. We had a non smoking room.

From the moment we checked in, things felt off. The lobby was unkempt, and the staff seemed uninterested and unprofessional. Once we got to the room, it only got worse. The room was dirty, with stained sheets, a strong odor, and surfaces that clearly hadn’t been properly cleaned. When we turned on the AC unit it smelt like urine. To make matters even worse, there were roaches in both the bathroom and the room, which made it impossible to feel safe or comfortable. The atmosphere outside only added to the discomfort. Groups of people were hanging around outside smoking, which made the environment feel unsafe and unwelcoming. Basic amenities were either broken or missing, and the bathroom was in terrible condition. It was clear that maintenance and cleanliness are not priorities here. On top of that, the noise level made it nearly impossible to get any rest—especially frustrating during such an important trip for our family.

The room had a cigarette smell even though it was a non-smoking room. However, Steve was excellent—he addressed the issue right away by deodorizing and disinfecting the room. He was great at all times and provided outstanding service.

The night manager was awesome. Being put on a deadline to vacate the property or I would be criminally trespassed off the property. They allowed guests to smoke drugs in their rooms was horrible day. We want our money back for pain and suffering.

First and last time I’ll be staying there. I’m glad this is the only time I have to visit this area. Had to put my comforter along the bottom of the door because there was a 1/4” gap leading to the outside. Killed three baby roaches in my room. The person in the room next to me had visitors knocking on their door all night long. I think they actually lived there. Highly don’t recommend staying here.

Plenty of shops and stores nearby. Staff was excellent. Property needs extensive maintenance, cleaning, and to get rid of the smoking rooms as well as the strong presence of weed on site.

The staff was awesome. The rooms were very dirty. Gap in door on top could see outside. Holes in walls. Cockroaches in bathroom. Had a newer floor but it was just put over top of old and did not go to the wall . Tub and shower and sink were dirty. Sheets and towels were clean. Took a shower and felt like i as going to fall through floor.

Booked multiple rooms, all had roaches in them! Went to the front desk clerk and the only solution was to spray raid & my request for a refund was denied…

The lady that checked me in was so personable. Housekeeping was attentive. This is the sweet spot location......it is centered in the middle of everything.

The rooms were clean (floors needed mopping) but otherwise clean. Plenty of towels, body wash and shampoo It was nice being able to get coffee from the office while getting ready for your day. I would definitely recommend staying here especially if you’re on a budget. We were meeting other people that stayed in other hotels and paid triple what we paid and were not happy with their rooms. It’s a great location as well- close to everything we wanted to do!

The lady at check-in was very nice, the location of the hotel to fort Jackson and amenities was great. But the hotel and room itself was not impressive at all! Room was very dirty almost grimy. The refrigerator and microwave were filthy. I wouldn’t even touch the phone it had so much grime imbedded. The bedding was stained and the whole room smelled like cigarette smoke. We couldn’t even walk on the carpet without shoes. Will never book at this hotel again.

Everything was clean and I got prompt help on the issue with my TV remote. I was given the correct remote and all was fine from there.

Small breakfast

We came for our daughters, basic training graduation plus some extra adventuring. We really appreciate the hospitality and the kind workers! Yes, the hotel is older, and with that comes things that are uncontrollable and should not harm the overall rating. I will absolutely stay here again! We enjoyed the breakfast and the biscuits and gravy are amazing, but nothing special. This is a great place for those who appreciate the little things in life.

I asked for a non smoking room and my room smelled nothing but smoke. Sheets and blankets smelled nothing but smoke had to buy my own. Carpet was disgusting room 242. I even had to light up a candle for a better smell…..

Ac worked, that’s the only positive. Everything else was awful here, carpet was dingy and nasty, smelled old and musty, the bed was not comfortable, the bathroom looked dirty, maybe from being 20 years old. This is not a hotel, it’s a cardboard box with a couple upgrades, the price really should be around $30 night for what you get. Lots of foot traffic all through the night, not a safe feeling place either. Don’t take your family here, again, for $100 a night you’d expect clean carpet and somewhat updated bathroom features, everything here was awful.

The staff was very nice. But the property is run down and dirty. There were stains on the furniture and carpet. The bathroom counter needed scrubbing. To use the WiFi I had to go to the lobby. It didn’t work in my room.

It was very convenient to Ft Jackson. Needs updated, especially replace dirty carpet and chairs. Linens were clean and bed comfortable. I believe they house homeless families.

I would like to express my disappointment with the hotel. It was very dirty and far below the quality standards I expect from hotels offered on Expedia. I have booked through Expedia many times before and always had great experiences, but this hotel — Super 8 — was terrible.

This place was the worst motel I've ever visited. I urge everyone to stay away from this place it's dirty, nasty, unsafe to your health. We woke up feeling sick. If I hadn't drove 16 hrs straight spent all day in the sun for family day at fort jackson I would have gone somewhere else but sleep depravation kicked in and need to sleep. Stay away from this place everyone !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The sheets in our room were dirty (not sure if it was mud or something else…) when we arrived so the very nice clerk got us a new room. The room appeared clean but I woke up with bug bites on my neck and arm. A cockroach ran across the counter when we went to the office the next morning too. 😫

When I needed 3xtra trash bags, toilet paper and wash clothes I asked and they put it in my room while I was gone. Very friebdly staff. Off street parking.Breakfast was ok.

If you are not looking for luxury and just want a place to sleep, this is a perfect place to book a room if you have a graduating soldier at fort Jackson. The gate (2) is 5 minutes away, and there are a ton of places to go eat around there. The management was very helpful and accommodating we accidentally booked a room in a smoking area and they offered to filer the room out, and and give us a room on a non smoking section when a room was available since all the rooms were booked due the graduation. Like I said if you just want a room to sleep in and is very close to fort Jackson gate 2 this is your place!

The bedding was stained with burns and what looked like blood, there were crumbs and hairs in the sheets, and I even found a bug in the bed. The bathroom was leaking, and everything felt dirty and neglected. Outside the room, people were yelling late at night, and the environment felt unsafe. I didn’t even stay the last two days I had the hotel, I could only barley survive the first night and also the hotel refused to refund me my money.

ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING HOTEL. If I could give negative stars I would. First off there was no place to choose smoking or non-smoking. The price was only $15 cheaper than other hotels so I thought it would be fine. It was $110 a night and I got there with a smoking room I had to have my poor 2 year old niece. Don’t be fooled by the pictures, the pictures look nice and clean and nothing like it looks in person. The chairs were black due to being dirty, There were blood stains in the blankets, black holes from cigarettes in the sheets, leaks in the shower and bathroom, food crumbs and pubic hair inside the sheets along with a small black but I found on the sheets. Then there was a June bug flying in our room. The place is super dark no lighting to see what you’re doing or get ready in the mirror you can barely see. Smelled horrible, got our clothes smelling horribly from the smoke. Random, weird people go to this hotel that look like tweakers and prostitutes. People shouting and yelling outside my room, I did not feel safe here. You can’t open the screen because it has huge holes in it. Everything is disgustingly dirty, both outside and inside the place. The hotel outside is black, the outside walkway is black, it’s honestly the worst grossest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I bought 3 nights and only stayed for 1 of them. I then got the Delta Marriot the last two nights for only $15 more and it was amazing and clean and soooo nice.

The only good thing about this place is that it’s close to fort Jackson. I’m visibly pregnant and they gave me a smoking room anyway. Room 202 has cockroaches. My mother in law and I saw 3 of them. When I went to ask for another room, they told me they didn’t have any others. I had to deal with the smell and the roaches because it was getting dark and we were in an unknown area. First thing in the morning the next day, we checked out and found a much better hotel. I had booked Tuesday to Thursday and they refunded me only one night. I’m currently trying to get at least the second night refunded since we only stayed Tuesday. Please beware….the photos are not updated. If I could attach the video of a roach crawling down the wall, I would. This place was a nightmare and I barely got any sleep just thinking of the crawlers. Honestly, Expedia should not allow this hotel to be listed on their page.

Picked this hotel being so close to Ft. Jackson. The area was fine, but this hotel not so much. This is NOT a place to bring your family to stay, that is for sure!!!

Wall plaster was cracked and crumbling in the bathroom. The carpets were not only old, but quite dirty.

This place needs to be gutted. The staff are great but there is nothing else good about this hotel. Dirty, tired furnishings, filthy rugs, really, filthy everything. It was difficult to charge devices because the plugs wouldn't stay in the outlets. They just slid right out. Hairdryer didn’t work. The cord looked burnt so I'm not sure it would have been safe to use anyway. I wore shoes at all times.

When I arrived into my room could not use the tiollet had feces all over around everywhere. I stayed 2 nights first night I was scared slept with lights on, next night turns light off then I wakes up with bed bug bite this experience horrible place is filth no housekeeper in sight ever. We requested a smoke free room. Upon entering the cigarette smell hit us hard. Every material wreaked of smoke. Cigarette burns in several places and a cigarette butt in toilet. Outdoors the carpet was nasty & torn and the balcony had soft spots on the floor. The staff offered another room but we figured if the non smoking room was this bad they probably were all bad. Staff fixed the tv, apologized and gave us a can of air spray. Only thing good was the staff that dealt with us.

But the staff was extremely helpful and beyond caring and courteous.

I paid $132 dollars for a hotel where people walked around actually living on the property. Toilet seat on the floor dresser drawer missing never again I went to Ramada Limited next day $89 great smell clean room heaven

The area around was amazing, many restaurants around the hotel. Additionally, the staff was a really nice person, helping us.

Roomed smelled of smoke and had a foul odor. On opening the door I immediately had to return to the reception area to ask for bleach spray cleaner to counter the smell. Bathroom was dirty and had dirt stains in tub. I had booked for two days had to check out after a couple of hours there.

This is one of the worst hotel rooms we have ever stayed at. The very first thing is the door would not open even after using the key - we would have to bang it in to get the door open. Booked the non-smoking room and got a smoking room no other vacancies to switch us. The room smelled bad of cigarette smell, and marijuana. The floors were dirty and even sticky to walk on. The towels looked like they were folded, but not washed - one had pubic hair on it. There were cigarette burns in the chairs and on the comforter. There were two blood spots on the sheet. The nightstand barely stood up since it was very old and broken. The toilet and the shower/bath was dirty. We could not get any TV channels in on the TV. The worst of all about the room is above the shower had black mold! We could not stay for the second night that was booked since we started getting sick from the mold.

I liked that the hotel was near to Ft. Jackson for my nephews boot camp graduation.

Hotel manager as always very friendly and professional. This is my 2nd stay here, and I will stay again when I visit Columbia.

There were roaches. The sheets looked like they were not changed. They had lipstick on them. The ceiling needs repair. The room should be renovated before placing another guest in it. Room 224. Room 114 was dirty. Renovate the establishment. It's unsanitary. Several codes are violated. I'm lucky that i only had to spend a few hours in it.

We ordered 2 rooms with Queen size beds and they were double beds me and the wife had a hard time sleeping together on it

The floors hadn't been swept or mopped. And when i asked for another room, was told that they were booked even though we were the only vehicle in the lot. And didnt even wanna change the bed sheets for us. We ended up losing over $100 on the room and staying elsewhere for much cheaper as well as cleaner.

This would be better if the movie theater that used to be open across from this hotel was still open so I could’ve watched a movie then just walk to the room but unfortunately they closed it down and only other movie theaters are 20+ minutes away

This is an OLD motel that looks its age. It needs a TOTAL REVAMP! New flooring, new doors, new paint, etc. The surfaces were surprising clean, but the towels were DISGUSTING & the linens were below average. It was a BAD CHOICE. I suspect that the owners have tried their best to make it work with few resources. Wyndham should step in, tear it down & start over. Breakfast was virtually non-existent.

Me and my daughter came to seen my son graduate from boot camp and got eaten alive by bed bugs we have pictures to prove it.It was very sad 😔 to watch a very proud moment turn into terrible one

I only have two complaints. The floors in the room were pretty gross to walk on barefoot. My feet after walking on it were covered in dirt. I forgot to bring slippers. Second, the sheets were kind of gross too. I brought my own sheets so that wasn't an issue. The location was nice and walkable to the nearest "mall". The staff were nice. The people above me were somewhat obnoxious but I had noise canceling headphones so I was able to block them out.

The continental breakfast was missing a lot. Cable box was strapped to the wall behind the TV, you had to aim the remote behind the TV. Unable to change channels from bed.

This was unacceptable to be rented! Slept in my car for the night

The room was clean, but there was a pervasive smell of stale tobacco and cigarette burn marks on furniture and the side of the tub. The door had been kicked in at some point in the past and the ceiling was stained. The front desk host was pleasant to talk to. It was great to be only 5 minutes from Ft. Jackson for BCT graduation with Walmart and food nearby. We were only in the room to sleep and shower and then gone again.

Shower height was to low considering im average height. Room lighting was not that bright but other than that it was ok.

Was not cleaned good. Furniture was outdated looked water logged. Accidentally booked a smoking room that was my fault but still should be cleaned and also killed 3 roach bugs. If it was not for my sons Army Graduation i would have left and came back home but toughed it out

The first night our beds weren't made and the cleaning lady left no clean towels. And I'm not sure is she even cleaned the room.The 2nd day our maid was the Cuban lady she was wonderful she made the beds, cleaned the bathroom and the bed room. The entire room looked amazing. You could tell it was cleaned. And she left us towels. She did a nice job. She should train the other staff on how to clean a guest room. The hallway rug on 2nd floor was discusting. The rug looked dirty and has hugh stains. It needs to be replaced. It's a shame this could be a great motel. The outside looks good. The area is great. The front desk staff is very pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable. It's at walking distance to everything. It could be a 5 star motel if you replaced the rugs and updated the faucets in the sink and maybe shined the floors in the room. You can do it a littat a time. And you would have an amazing place.

I had lights in my room that didn't work as a matter of fact they hung off the wall.

We selected this hotel thinking we would get what we saw on pictures. Something simple for a 2 night stay and it was a nightmare. It felt like someone somked a cigarette before us coming in. There was dust everywhere, the bathroom curtain had mold, there we roaches, towels were stained, bed sheets were stained. We have to go to walmart and buy cleaning supplies to make it more comfortable for the second night. The worst part is that there were no ther rooms available and all hotels in the area were booked due to a basic training graduation.
