Clean, great location, easy access to the highways and byways.

I liked how close it was to the zoo. I liked that there was a complimentary breakfast. Never stayed the first night thought because how dirty the rooms were. My room was disgusting, it was on the 2nd floor. They gave me a new room, it was still dirty, gave me another one, it was also dirty. Both of those rooms were on the 4th floor. I had to go to a different hotel.
- 2.5/5
Breakfast was good and evening reception was nice. The fire alarm went off every hour all night long. We had to evacuate around 9 PM with all of our children from the fifth floor, which was frustrating and then being awakened all night long with the loud fire. Alarm was really frustrating. We didn’t get any apologies from the staff although otherwise I would’ve said it was a good place and I like Homewood suites.

We have loved all of our stays at Homewood Suites Greystone. Can’t wait for the whirlpool to be fixed. The pool is so warm! Please offer nondairy milk with coffee!

How close we were to everything. Breakfast and staff were nice. Lots of stains and damage to the room itself. There was a random door we believe went to the room next to us as well. All of the dishes were dirty and sitting on top of cabinets that had a good bit of water damage. There was a smell in the room as well as the floor feeling too dirty to remove shoes.

I liked everything. Hilton family hotels never disappoint

Typical hotel breakfast...rubbery scrambled eggs, not much fruit to choose from. Elevator button wouldn't work unless you pressed it just so. A staff member said, "We told them it needed to be fixed." Door to room wouldn't work. Receptionist said it needed a new battery. Sounds like there is a lot of deferred maintenance.

The bathroom had a damp smell that could be addressed to improve overall freshness. The pillows were quite uncomfortable and could be upgraded for a better sleeping experience. The window curtains smelled dusty, as though they had not been cleaned or washed in a long time.

Yes my kids love the breakfast

I loved the suite it was above and beyond my expectations. The breakfast was excellent I liked everything

The sink in the bathroom had a slow drain to it.
- 5/5
Clean, quiet and the personal small kitchen. The sink in the bathroom had a slow drain to it.
- 3/5
The breakfast was great! The rooms were pleasant and clean, except for the lingering smell of weed in our room (we noticed it most when we left and returned to a closed-up space). Conditions were ok. There was only one spoon in the kitchen, though, for three guests. Great potential, just a little more attention to detail would be nice.
- 2.5/5
All employees I encountered were kind. The room was musty. There were mold spots on the ceiling and water damage throughout the bedroom and bathroom. The bathroom smelled as if it had been cleaned with an old stinky rag.

I cannot stress enough how amazing the staff is there. The rooms are clean and beds are actually comfortable.
- 5/5
Staff were amazing very pleasant and friendly.. just loved the King Suite.
- 3/5
The pool was freezing! The kids were unable to swim and extremly upset because we chose this property specifically for the indoor pool. Jacuzzi was not working either. Very disapointing!
- 3/5
Biggest issues were: 1. The pool was unusable as it wasn't heated and the room was so cold that swimming wasn't practical. When asked, the staff stated that the same was essentially true nearly year round! 2. Property gave a 1 king vs. the requested 2 queen suite. When pressed, the front desk said that third party booking sites can't guarantee a room type only that a room will be available. 3. Room had a sleeper sofa (compensated somewhat for no 2nd bed), but the mattress was disgusting and looked like there was mold on it, making it also unusable. Given that it was a short stay, dealt with the inconvenience and called it a lesson learned, but unlikely to stay here again.
- 4/5
Yes pets allowed and parking limited. However, safe feeling.
- 4/5
We had a great stay, everything was as expected and clean! The pool was clean but very cold, and the hot tub was closed.
- 4/5
Easy parking, super nice staff, nice sized suites. Only draw back was no hot tub due to maintenance.
- 3/5
However, the 3 main amenities that convinced us to chose this hotel over others were not available, including the Hot Tub, Swimming Pool, and Complementary Reception on Wednesday evenings. We were not informed of these being closed/cancelled ahead of time, and only one sign was present saying the hot tub was unavailable. We had to call and ask about the reception as no indication was ever given, and the pool just had a sign on it that said, "No Swimming." So we ended up spending more, for a place with ultimately less amenities than other hotels. The breakfast was interesting, with a heavy emphasis on breakfast tacos...I have nothing against this, but the food bins and coffee makers were often empty. When you only have 4 different hot foods (some kind of eggs, potatoes, sausage, and pork), you are pretty limited if you have dietary restrictions...especially when the foods are empty.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Room was clean. Breakfast was great both days. The pool was a hit. My family really enjoyed the stay. We will definitely be returning.

Great please to stay!!!!

Nice hotel, nearby zoo, main street, restaurants. The staff was friendly, rooms clean, the Jacuzzi was not working 😕. But everything else was good.
- 5/5
The hotel waz quite and friendly, clean and overall excellent. The rooms was very spacious. I truly enjoyed my stay and I will visit again and recommend to othets.

I reserved this room for my daughter and her family. She expressed that it was the nicest place they have stayed and that everything was great!

- 5/5
The staff was wonderful. We really loved the breakfast options
- 3/5
Disappointing stay and we won't be back. Location is in the middle of an entire strip of car dealerships with nothing at all close to it. Our TV didn't work nor did our toilet. We told them about it after the first night and they went in but it was exactly the same. Told them about it again and finally got it fixed but spent two days without a flushing toilet. Also, three nights and housekeeping never came in. Didn't empty trash or anything. Breakfast was okay. Overall not a great experience.
- 3/5
Lots of upgrades are needed
- 5/5
Clean room, friendly staff, we will be back again
- 5/5
This hotel seems like a refurbished older hotel which has had some updates to refresh it. Still obviously older and dated with older elevator, carpeting. Kitchens could also use a refresh. That being said other than the fridge we did not use the kitchen during our stay. Overall hotel was clean. Staff was the star of the show! Toni at the front desk was great with the check-in experience. We got a room that would not deadbolt to lock and she switched us out right away. Her kindness and efficiency was above and beyond. The breakfast staff was also very kind and personable. Certainly will stay here again, the staff here made our visit!!
- 5/5
Happy!!! I lucked up with this stay. Spacious suite, clean room, kitchenette with dishes/cookware, whirlpool in the bedroom, separate bathroom tub/shower combo, and good breakfast spread. Elevators are at the end of the building which makes a short hike with your luggage. Walmart and restaurants located within 5 miles.
- 5/5
Staff was very very pleasant and courteous. Enjoyed the stay, enjoyed the room, enjoyed it all. Indoor pool and hot tub were a plus. Well done.
- 5/5
Very nice will be back
- 5/5
Staff were super friendly, hotel room was very clean had everything needed, parking was very accommodating and easy access to the main entrance.
- 2/5
Food variety for breakfast was limiting and need more tea options for non coffee drinkers. Social day was great! The service for that day was excellent and met a few new friends!
- 3/5
We stayed for 6 nights after a straight 13 hr drive. The Bad...First we had our room switched as the first one had beds that looked like they were just slept in, sheets very wrinkled and bed poorly made. It was nice to have a hot tub but the jets didn't work the whole time. On our 3rd night we had to request fresh towels/tissues/trash taken out (this should have been automatic). Finally on our last night after relaxing in the warm pool, I went to do our laundry only to find they had no detergent for a couple of days now. It's now 11:00 pm, I'm now driving around a town I don't know to find out everything is closed. The Good...the breakfast provided is wonderful and the chefs know how to cook. It was also a nice surprise to have a social hour and the wings cooked were amazing. Beds were comfortable and having a separate bedroom was helpful. Other Notes...wished the bathroom was not in the bedroom as flushing the toilet was loud. The kitchen is good to warm up food but stove not very large for a big pot. The doors were squeaky or difficult to close and bathing suit/towels didn't dry overnight (this was due to humidity and ac), so I paid to dry them. The rooms on first couple of floors had walk in showers - that would be nice on all floors so we requested bath mat for the tub to prevent any potential hazard. We had a connecting door and could definitely hear neighbors throughout the night, turned up the tv all the way to try to drown out their conversations.
- 1/5
My bedroom sounded like it was he maintenance room, the ac closet made so much noise it sounded like I was on a freeway . I requested a room change and was told for three straight nights, that they were booked.
- 3/5
The stay was ok but needs better cleaners, bed sheets with stains, bathtub not cleaned, chairs in the breakfast area filthy, rust in the bthtub, peeling paint, dirty corners. This place needs a rehab. And make over. Its a shame too that many military families viait here for the graduations and this is the conditions.
- 3/5
Had a great stay until the last day when I saw a German cockroach crawling up the wall of our suite. Didn't seem like it was hotel was infested but didn't feel comfortable in there after that. Room was nice, pool and hot tub was great for the kids, and breakfast was very good with good options. Kind of ruined the stay
- 5/5
Very spacious for a family of 5 - staff was great, it is a little outdated, but still very nice and safe.
- 4/5
Overall the hotel was good. They served a very good breakfast! Our room could have been cleaned more thoroughly. We found crackers, chunks of hair other things. Also while wiping up water from pool the towel got dirty from the floor. The bed was clean and comfy.
- 4/5
Everything was perfect. Front desk staff were very inviting. Room was very clean! Would definitely recommend!
- 1/5
Well first night something bit my daughters neck and upper back. Plus cockroach behind couch, third night I woke up to the biggest cockroach crawling on wall. Asked for delayed opening was told initially they did not know. Breakfast made us terribly sick. I want a refund
- 2/5
I like how spacious it is, the staff are very nice the dealer ship next door does speak on a intercom but it’s not like to a point where it gets annoying just unexpectedly and then my tub and toilet was clogged at first then there was a towel hanging behind the door in the bathroom not sure if they missed that or if that’s there protocol still haven’t got clarification on that when I asked about it, then there was a roach in here as well I let the staff know and all I got was an apology which is cool okay but I was very uncomfortable and didn’t have else where to go I did ask for another room all they could switch me to was a handicap room and I didn’t wanna take that away from someone if they ended up coming and actually needing it but other than that it was cool I just probably wouldn’t stay here again unless it’s my last choice. 5/10
- 4/5
I liked WELCOME HAOUA on my room tv screen. The breakfast was great. Wednesday evening foods service was great. I didn't liked to see that one area of my room floor carpet is damaged, it was ugly. Most of the staff are friendly and warm welcomed. Overall I enjoyed and liked 👍 THANK you.
- 2/5
The stove didn't work for both panels only the back one worked. The dishwasher was falling forward it couldnt be used. One of the pillows were dirty. Our dogs found plastic on the floor guessing it was no vacuum or no one sweeped the floors. Waffle maker timer is wrong its broken we are told just take it earlier sometime lead to uncooked waffle. No cover on the sauces so flies and nats just alnding in it. Breakfast was so inconsistent to other hiltons we stayed at. You did have nice workers most were very sweet. Not much were done for us but atill sweet. Except one not sure who but seem like i was bothering her. We do not have any photos. Room 315.
- 4/5
We had dead gnats allover the wall where the bed was.
- 5/5
Perfect if want to stay close to Riverbanks zoo. Very clean and quiet. Loved the kitchenette area. Elevators are weirdly located and extremely hot inside. Rooms are spacious and give a luxury vibe. I would definitely stay again.
- 3/5
Air did not work in the Columbia South Carolina area and I thought the air conditioner in closet was going to explode it was so loud. Could not change rooms due to graduation and all rooms were filled. They did offer a different room the next night which we did move but the cover over the shirt was a bed skirt. I found hair behind the bathroom door. I do t think I will ever stay there again.
- 5/5
Ms. Tony greeted us upon arrival and made sure we were comfortable during our stay. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Definitely will return. The only problem thing that could have been better…the hot tube/spa in the pool area was broken.
- 5/5
Great location, convenient to Riverbanks Zoo, suites are great, my kids enjoyed the pool
- 5/5
Good service too
- 5/5
Great
- 5/5
The hotel staff Toni and Nolan were great and the room were very clean.
- 5/5
We stood over night and it was very pleasant.
- 5/5
Great experience all around. Staff wss amazing!
- 5/5
Pretty good hotel overall. Leaving your cell phone number upon check in ensures that you have your personal concierge available if any issues need resolving. No major issues to report
- 5/5
From the moment we walked in, I was pleased. Nolan was friendly and accommodating. Although I don’t know her name, the lady serving breakfast was kind and kept everything well stocked. The room was clean and spacious. Overall, it was a great stay!
- 5/5
The front desk associate named Toni was the absolute best, she made us feel right at home and handled my high energy children with ease! We appreciated her so much!
- 5/5
Our room was very nice. The bathroom was large with a nice shower. We had a very restful night on a comfortable bed. The kitchen was well appointed.
- 1/5
Booked a double queen suite for family of four. Ended up with one bed in a wheelchair accessible room. Front desk says “expedia cannot guarantee the room they sold you, only any room we have available.” Won’t that mistake again.
- 5/5
Good breakfast
- 5/5
The hotel staff was very professional. The breakfast was excellent, and the rooms were clean.
- 4/5
Nice stay
- 5/5
Friendly people at this hotel, always there if you need anything. One of the best ive stayed at
- 3/5
The staff was very helpful and polite. However there was a lot of road noise from the Hiway and the room floor needed a little more attention. I was a Hilton Diamond member for over 20 years before retiring. I left a note for the Franchisee and I’m sure they will work to jump from a 3 to a 5!
- 5/5
Very nice pool and hot tub area
- 5/5
Great stay for the first time!

• Access Issues: Upon returning from dinner, her keycard and app access were deactivated, leaving her stranded in the hallway. It took 5–10 minutes to get help, only to be told “the door is dead.” Maintenance eventually fixed it. • Bathroom Problems: Her room had a tub but no stopper. When she contacted guest services, she was told stoppers were only available in upgraded rooms, despite the tub clearly being part of her suite. She had to resort to using a washcloth to block the drain. • Locked Out in Freezing Weather: Early in the morning, she was locked out of the building despite having a valid keycard, because she was up early loading her car before her exam. The front doors were inexplicably locked until 7 a.m., leaving her to search in 25-degree weather for an alternative way inside. This stay added stress instead of alleviating it, ruining what should have been a peaceful and productive evening. Hilton is known for quality, but this experience was appalling. I strongly advise against staying at this location. This was also reported to the Hilton Support Line, but I’ve heard crickets on a summer night make more response than their Support Line.
- 1/5
Did not stay here. We were called the morning of the day we were to arrive and were told hotel was over booked and no room was available for us. Still have not received a refund.
- 5/5
Really enjoyed my stay!
- 2/5
The hvac unit was in the bedroom and made terrible noise. The staff was very kind and tried to accommodate us.
- 2/5
We had a suite with 2 queen beds. We stayed from Thursday to Sunday. No one ever came to our room to clean or tidy the beds or bring new dry towels. The breakfast was very good and the women that manage it should be commended.
- 5/5
Pleanty room for 6 people. The only negative was, the receptionist charged me the full price at the counter even though I explained that I had prepaid when I made my reservation. However I called and talked to the hotel manager. A refund was made which took about a week to receive my credit.
- 2/5
There was cat poop left under the sink. No blankets or sheets for the pullout bed, the door did not close, and the outlets were busted with wires sticking out. I was supposed to receive a credit but did not.
- 5/5
Only thing you should change is way to contact front desk. We had to go downstairs to pick up sheets and blanket for pull out couch. Next morning needed more towels and had to go downstairs and find someone to get towels. Everthing else good. Should supply a contact number on key sleeve so can call if need things. Thanks
- 3/5
The room was clean, but kept seeing ants every in the room.
- 3/5
The suite was very spacious. But the main lobby was very humid. You had to have the room freezing so you’re not sweating. The day staff was nice. Evening staff wasn’t on top of customer. We went over to the tru hotel, to see family, they had more to offer for entertainment in the lobby but the rooms are much smaller. So it just depends on what you are looking for at your stay.
- 2/5
Our room had roaches and the pool was frequently closed.
- 1/5
Our stay was the worst I have had at a hotel in a long time. It started with us getting there and being told that because we booked with a 3rd party booking (mind you we paid full price upfront days before our trip) that we no longer had a room. It was also almost 10pm and my self 38 weeks pregnant with my 3 kids and husband were in town for a sporting an event my kids needed to be at. The youngest we had with us being 2 years old. This is unacceptable as I know for a fact the rooms those 3rd party sites get they buy and then sell to us later so that should never be a thing. The lady working the desk then lied to the 3rd party site when I got on the phone and called them to fix this mess at 10pm saying she couldn't even see my reservation but looked me in the face and knew my name and everything when we first showed up. The lady some how ended up finding us a room after checking in 2 other families that booked though 3rd party sites as well. Then we get to our room and it is run down and not as clean as you would think a Hilton would be. The shampoo was empty, there was no soap at the bathroom sink. the fridgerater was broken and didn't even cool. The Cleaning lady never even came in our room to reset. We saw them in the hall after 6pm and they had never even been in our room then they just left the floor didn't even knock to see if we needed anything. This was the worst stay for us in a long time we will never be back !
- 4/5
The pool area being right next to the elevator was a bit off. Nothing but water tracks on the walk way to the elevator. Other than that, great stay.
- 1/5
The staff was kind but the facility was dirty. There were chips and food in the pull out bed. The mattresses were all stained clear through. The carpet is old and ruined. Not a good experience.
- 4/5
Needs some updates.
- 5/5
Great stay! Staff was all friendly. Room and common areas were clean. I think the breakfast could have been a bit better. But we were very happy with the stay for the price we paid. Thanks!
- 4/5
Check-in is at 3pm. We arrived at 3:15. The desk clerk advised our room was not ready and to come back in an hour. I went back in 30 minutes. A new clerk was on duty, and although our room was not ready, assigned us to another room.
- 2/5
The dishes were still washing. There were 50 kids in the pool that just got in cars and left when it closed.
- 1/5
Tyler was very nasty, not very welcoming at all
- 2/5
Price was $16 higher than when I booked, had to pay the difference. On top of that, the hot tub was room temperature, the couch in the room was torn in 5 places, and the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes. LASTLY THERE WAS MULTIPLE ROACHES IN MY ROOM. (The small ones that can survive the apocalypse) I’m not a Karen so I didn’t make an ordeal, but I’m disappointed that I wasn’t offered anything when I brought this to the staff’s attention.
- 1/5
There was an odor upon entering our room and mattresses and sheets were stained with BLOOD! Following entering we quickly noticed red stains on the door surfaces that appeared to also be blood stains with hair stuck in them. This experience was truly horrific, and once we had explained our experience we were ere allowed a room switch in which we were in a room that was better, but still did not feel clean and housed stained mattresses and dirty surfaces. We were denied a refund because we had booked through hotels.com, but we like still gladly appreciate a refund for this horrific experience.
- 5/5
Very nice suites. Would stay here again!
- 5/5
Very nice staff Clean
- 5/5
The hot tub and pool was not hot or warm. Ice cold!!!
- 5/5
Great place and supper service
- 4/5
I was dissatisfied the hot tub wasn’t hot and I booked room with jetted tub instead I had a walk in shower, the grill wasn’t clean had to wait for staff to clean and also get propane tank. Staff was excellent so is the service and breakfast yes I would stay again just hope the tin will be hot then and that I will finally get my jetted tub!
- 5/5
Good experience overall, well worth the price. Breakfast was better than normal, check in was quick. Room was well sized for a family.
- 1/5
So dirty
- 1/5
Blood stained sheets and walls
- 3/5
Not what we're used to staying at many other Homewood Suites properties. Heater in room was very loud. Took 5 plus minutes of running shower to get hot water. Floor in kitchen area was buckled and warped and cabinets were very dirty. Loud music playing in the hallway early in the morning and could be heard in the room. Locked out of our room when we returned after being out for the afternoon because they claimed there was an issue with their computer and my reservation, no further explanation and took too long to remedy the situation and get us back in our room
- 4/5
Bed was comfortable, quiet. Had a yellow jacket in the room that we had to kill, that was unexpected. Breakfast not appealing. Nice sized room.
- 1/5
Roaches all over the room when we got in. Hesitant, we started settlin and the were more roaches showing up.
- 4/5
The elevator was out of service for entire stay , the during the first night around midnight I heard the doors opening closing in the hallway for two hour wake me the walls appeared to be very thin. The second night there was a retirement party and we could hear the music through the windows and walls. Again my sleep was disturbed by sounding noises.
- 1/5
It wasn’t clean at all stay at your own risk
- 5/5
Loved it . Even though they will try to charge me for the toilet paper holder and it was already broken . It was still peaceful
- 5/5
The staff was amazing and breakfast was delicious. We really appreciated how clean everything was and how helpful the staff was! Not only that, it was very close to Congaree NP! Would 100% recommend!
- 1/5
the room is small, they don't clean it every day. Everything is small including the two TV. The lady at the front desk is like I have this job. The "HOT" breakfast turns out some bad quality stuffs, sausage, burger, and potatos taste terrible. I have to throw away what I take. No bacon. Pay $150/night for two nights. The pool is tiny, spa is out of order :) Worst experience with Hilton.

- 4/5
It is a nice hotel and I like the kitchens.
- 5/5
Nice and quiet good location and excellent staff

Very nice stay, this was a great place
- 5/5
This place is awesome from the amazing staff to the rooms!! Everyone from Front seat Terri n Renee to Ricardo the head housekeeper to the janitorial and kitchen staff were Amazing!! In fact already booked for November!!
- 4/5
Very limited options to eat you must have vehicle to get around. But it is quiet and safe location. Only option for food is Chinese food. Or door dash which I don’t use because I don’t like the appearance of the driver delivering my food in there PJs .
- 3/5
However, the service was not what I expected. I didn’t expect my room to not be serviced (by housekeeping) daily. I think what I paid was equivalent to daily service. If this was mentioned online, I would have lodged elsewhere. I discovered this information after my first night when the room was not serviced. Thereafter, I was informed only after inquiring that my room would only be serviced if requested 24 hours beforehand because of “insufficient staffing.” Now although servicing was requested (as instructed) but was told that my room would not be serviced until the following day—-my checkout day. Additionally, while not hostile, there was no cordial deportment with the day staff when this information was communicated to me. Only after insisting, I was advised it would be serviced that day. Then, upon returning to my room I discovered a few of my personal items were removed from the room, most likely by housekeeping. My room key also had to be rekeyed 2 days out of the 4 days I was there and the telephones were not working in my room; not expected AT ALL from this establishment. Overall I would rate my stay a 4/10.
- 1/5
The hotel offered 30,000 Hilton Honors points for our stay. We asked for our money back. They refused. 30,000 points will not pay for two free nights or our money back, which is fair compensation for the horror we experienced. The night staff, after check-in, were absent. So, we could not request to change rooms. The carpet was wet and there were no hangers in the closet. There were bloodstained curtains, a paint stained bath floor mat, hair in one bed, dirty covers on the other, red and yellow stains on the floors and counters (I tried my best to clean the bathroom myself), hair in the freezer, sticky and oily cabinet/fridge handles with food remnants, trash, hair and used supplies in the vanity drawers and room drawers, dirty phones, dirty vanity sink, dirty toilet along with dirty walls and doors with dark brown marks. At one point, I wondered if room 406 was a previous crime scene! The house keeping staff did not do a good job. They didn't even include shampoo, body wash or extra trash bags. I included photos for corporate's review and confirmation. They saw it all. The breakfast staff was nice, but the food and supplies were subpar. Only one elevator and one ice machine worked in the entire facility. We could hear the people in the adjacent suite, nightly. Do not stay here. Even corporate customer service doesn't care. Go to Hampton Inn for the satisfaction guarantee. We've never had a horror like this in our lives.

The A/C unit too noisy.

There were so many things that were not working. The pool, which looked just fine, was closed “for renovation.” One elevator…at our end of the hall… was not working. Every time we needed to go downstairs we had to go the the very other end of the hall and then back the entire way to the parking area. The ice machine right outside our door was broken. Another guest who had been there in May said it, and others were not working then either.

The pool at the hotel was “out of service”. That wasn’t on the website. The AC in our room stayed at 66°. It was freezing. My grandkids are now sick. I called downstairs for linens for the sofa bed. I was told they’d bring them to our room. They didn’t. I had to go get them. I asked the house keeping woman to exchange our towels. She said she didn’t have any. I will never stay here again. I would honestly like a refund.

Sister Williams who cooks the breakfasts is a fabulous cook. She is friendly and you can tell the other employees love her.

Room was clean and comfortable! The staff wasn’t friendly and not present at all.

We had too go to desk and get towels and toilet paper. And breakfast wasn't ready at 6am like they posted.

Nice, clean, very good location. Staff was friendly!

Hotel is nice but had to ask for sheets for the pull out bed twice. First time was told sheets were in a dryer. Second time told they did not have enough sheets due to construction at the property. Not sure how that works. Also, told that one pillow was allowed for the pullout and we would be charged for anything else. Staff was not helpful or friendly. Property is nice, so it’s disappointing for the customer service to negatively impact the review.

Still remodeling but overall the place was great. Wish we could have used pool but it was closed. Breakfast needs an upgrade!

It was very disappointing that you cannot get Hilton reward points because we used Expedia to book room. This is major rip off.

Miss Williams was awesome! She was attentive, very sweet and made our stay very nice.Woukd go back to Homewood Suites Columbia again in our next travel.

Nice place recently updated

Well furnished, bright room. Comfortable bed. Quiet.

Under construction with no prior notification. No heat in our room. No hot water in the shower. No way to reach management to address issues.

Great service

There was no advertisment about the property being renovated. Although, my room was in excellent condition, the smell of the new carpet and wall covering were a bit unplesant, especially when you walked into the hallway. Also, it seemed as though the elevators were being used as freight elevators on both ends of the building, whereby, they were totally in need of being refurbished or at least covered up until they were done. Lastly, I thought, I might get a nail in my tire since one of the hugh truck dumpsters was next to the building.

The breakfast left a lot to be desired.

When I checked in my reservation for 2 nights 2 rooms was cancelled incorrectly. I was charged for rooms I cancelled and the night I kept, one room was cancelled. The hotel staff said it was Hotel.com fault not theirs so they wouldn’t refund my account. They did have a spare room, however come to find out it did not have heating or hot water. Other stressful incidents happened & the apologies we received from the 2 staff at the front desk could’nt have been less sincere. “Have a blessed day” in a condescending tone over and over again. The hotel is currently being renovated and looks great !! The workers were more polite & professional than the front desk staff. Definitely NOT Hilton.

DID NOT LIKE ANYTHING ABOUT HOMEWOOD SUITES IN COLUMBIA
- 5/5
My family was thrilled with “everything “. The little ones loved the wonderful breakfast. John McMillan was at the front desk both when I came to view your facility and when we checked in! He did an excellent job and the whole family is singing his praises? He is the best!!!!

Gave me a toilet was broken and wanted me to stay overnight without a working toilet. Maintenance guy wouldn’t be there til next day. I checked out after 20minutes.

He was aware of the issue. He later refused to send me a copy of the invoice for my room. He told me he was not the manager I call back ask to speak to manager by name This same person pretending like he did not know who I was talking about and he was not there

While the service was outstanding, I cannot believe that Hilton would want their name associated with the state of this property. The rooms were filthy, the sheets old, the carpets and couches stained, and there was hair all over the bathroom. This was the 2nd room we were given. You could not pay me to stay here again.

It wasn’t disclosed that the pool was under construction. We were also given the wrong room
- 3/5
It was just one night, but the pool was down, the main elevator was broken, the artwork was off the walls in my room, there was no toilet paper holder rod, broken disposal, just very strange to see a Hilton in this bad of shape. It was pretty clean though and the linens were good. It's just worn out and in need of a facelift.

Very poor room conditions . Staff was friendly and professional.

Did not know the pool was going to be closed. Room missing molding at floor and dirty. Cups in dishwasher had lipstick on them! Tub and bathroom not well cleaned and sticky stains on headboard

No pool available nor kids pool as advertised. Said shut down. While the staff were very helpful and friendly the rooms were not clean, no toilet paper and the kitchen area was falling apart. My granddaughters got dirty hands and knees from playing with their toys on floor.

I requested a room with a tub so I could soak but was given a tiny handicap tub not a jet jacuzzi tub. There was no pool even though it was advertised which was the main reason we chose that hotel. The breakfast started at 7 AM and the cheese omelettes were small cold and hard along with the sausage links. The pancakes were cold and rubbery. The coffee was brown water with no flavor. The hotel sits next to 2 car lots and the lights came in through the windows causing problems with sleep. The best part of the stay was nice staff and a comfortable bed. We will not go back.

Old hotel that has been remade. Very disappointed

First off, upon arrival, there was a sign stating that the pool was closed. The hot tub was also closed, and those items were a big reason I booked that particular hotel. I was looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub after my drive and my daughter the pool. The hallway to the elevator smelled liked marijuana, elevator like smoke, halls on upper floors like smoke, and some unidentifiable chemical odor in the room. Luke warm water in the bath and a slow drain. Strings coming loose in carpet, couch was worn and old, both TV's had horrible pictures. NoUSB outlets in the lamps? Very outdated and run down. The only thing I can say was good was the staff and breakfast. Very disappointed and not at all what I would expect from a Hilton

The staff was my favorite thing about this hotel. They were very friendly and acted like I was their friend instead of their responsibility. The room was just what I wanted. I would stay there again anytime and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
