Very spacious suite with huge bathroom. Super clean! Staff was very friendly and helpful, let us stay in the pool even after regular hours. Very clean salt water pool. Highly recommend Home2Suites, it’s our third time staying with this hotel chain.

We arrived and the hot water was not working for the hotel. The manager Jeremy Ward was so kind and really a fantastic person. He refunded us our stay and gave the kids a free snack. That is true customer service and was always smiling when apologizing. I can’t say enough good things abut this hotel.

The front office staff on all shifts but especially the day staff was wonderful and so very helpful. If though the hot water was out for one day of our stay, the compensation and caring attitude of the staff made everything ok.

The AC units had condensation underneath, causing the carpet to smell. Nice hotel, But they need to replace those AC units.

Hotels.com allowed me to book a 2 queen bed suite several weeks in advance. I got to the site the day of check-in, at Home 2 Suites, and they didn't have my 2 queen bed suite available. I had to book another room to accommodate my family. Not thrilled using 2nd party sites and probably won't use it again.

Place was very clean and had everything needed for a great stay. Miss Dee was so friendly and helpful.

Very friendly staff, clean rooms and located 15 minutes from campus. Stayed for college graduation weekend. I have food allergies so breakfast bar limiting for gluten free and no non-dairy options. Coffee in the room was a plus with k-cups. Staff attentive.

Incredibly friendly staff!

This is one of the few locations that I can genuinely count ones. I lost my keys in the lobby area and they safely had them returned to me I really enjoy this location I'll be back soon

I requested a 1pm check in. When I arrived at 2:45pm, she rudely stated that they were not honoring my request and check in was at 4pm. I asked if I could wait in the lobby and she informed me that I could wait in my car and call and see if the room was ready. I was appalled by her customer service. Her name was Karina.

Everything was wonderful, they accomondated a special request, breakfast was amazing, staff very friendly! Quiet and clean!

I am extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Home2 Suites by Hilton. What should have been a straightforward stay turned into a frustrating and disrespectful ordeal. I specifically booked a room with two queen beds to accommodate my family. Upon arrival, I was told the room was not available and that I would receive a call when it was ready. I did receive a call around 3:30 PM stating the room was ready, so I proceeded with my day assuming everything had been resolved. However, when I returned later that evening at 9:30 PM to check in, I was given a king bed suite with a pull-out couch—completely different from what I reserved and needed. This was not a minor inconvenience; it directly impacted my family’s comfort. When I went back to the front desk to address the issue, I spoke with a representative named Q. Instead of acknowledging the mistake or showing any empathy, he insisted that this was an “upgrade” and that I should be happy with it. His tone was condescending and dismissive. When I asked how he would feel in my situation, his response lacked professionalism and basic customer care. To make matters worse, when I requested to speak with a manager the next day, I was told that no manager would be available. The only resolution offered was a vague discount, which does not make up for poor service, lack of accountability, and failure to honor a confirmed reservation. As if that wasn’t enough, at around 11:00 PM, the toilet in the room stopped working.

From the time I walked through the door the front desk clerk was very polite. I want to say his name was Jeremy if im wrong please forgive me. When my remote wouldn’t work he gave me another on with no problem also when the toilet would not flush he didn’t waste anytime to come access and fix the problem. Every thing about my stay was exceptional.

Staff was amazing! Decore was cute! There were a couple things that bothered us about cleanliness, but nothing we couldn’t take care of on our own. Would go again. Food was yummy!

I initially selected this location because it was pet friendly and near my home while it was under construction. In both instances, I have found the staff from front desk to maintenance to be pleasant, friendly, and accommodating. I particularly like how clean the hotel is kept in it's common areas and even the exterior. Having a cooktop in addition to a microwave is especially convenient for a long-term stay. All rooms havea standard size fridge and a nice size freezer. In general, the location is quiet, even though it is situated next to a highway. The rooms are large and the facilities are in excellent working order. I'd like to give a special shout out to Jeremy the hotel manager who has been an especially helpful. This hotel is a stand out for me and I highly recommend it.

Rooms are huge. Staff is friendly and professional. Great location. Breakfast is substandard. Food that should be hot is cold. Selection is limited. This is the only shortcoming of an excellent lodging hotel.

We had booked and paid for a room with two queen beds and a pull-out double bed and when we arrived late at night we were given a room with one king bed and one couch that pulled out into a double bed. When we asked at the desk they said they weren’t sure whose mistake it was but there was nothing they could do about it. They didn’t seem too bothered by it, so our family of five had to try and fit into two beds instead of three. Overall, the place was reasonably clean and breakfast was good, but I probably wouldn’t book here again not knowing if I would actually get the room I paid for.

The room was perfect but my husband & baby were put out and I had a late check out. Yes they were let back in after I called but what if i wouldn't have been able to.call. The room service staff should have went & asked someone when he told them that we had a late check out, instead they were heartless and this was in a whole different state from where we live.

The hotel and room were clean, the beds were comfy, the room was also spacious. The hotel is well located near restaurants and Fort Jackson. My only complaint is that the breakfast was terrible. I would rate our overall stay a 4.5/5

Hotel was ok. Staff was friendly. We stayed in an accessible room with roll in shower. There was no grab bars and the roll in shower was not a roll in shower. We asked for more pillows and blankets for pull out bed but hotel had only one pillow and no blankets. We could not believe that a Hilton hotel had no sheets or pillows to give us and my wife thinks the one pillow they gave us was dirty. We will not stay here again

My family stayed at this hotel for a soccer tournament in Columbia, SC. Perhaps the most friendly staff, breakfast was excellent, very warm and family friendly lobby. Our room was super clean and comfortable, and again, every person we encountered working was warm and friendly which really makes a huge difference! I can’t thank Home2 enough for a wonderful stay!!

We were charge for a double queen room but were given a king size bed room. Ask to change it and said they were sold out.

3 day stay close to Fort Jackson Accommodation was sufficient for our group. Pretty clean overall. Breakfast gets busy could do with another person to help keep coffee and food items stocked. Pool area was clean and water was clean.

Staff is the best!

We had a great stay! From quick check-in, to our clean/fully supplied room, a great breakfast, and easy checkout made for an easy trip. We hadn't been to Columbia, SC before. Everyone was kind and helpful. The short distance from interstate was perfect for our trip. We'd definitely go back if we pass through again!

Basic Comfort Hotel.

After having a long travel day with many headaches getting to the hotel was a warm welcoming! From the moment we stepped foot into this hotel the staff were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help with anything we needed. The entire place was spotless. You can tell cleanliness is a priority here. The breakfast everyday was good and I had my mother with me which she is very picky and she absolutely loved her stay and the food here. Most importantly, we felt completely comfortable and at ease during our stay. It truly felt like a home away from home. This was one of the best experiences we’ve had with a hotel! We would recommend staying here for any family. My family was comfortable and it was super close to Fort Jackson as we came down for family day/graduation. Highly recommended, and we’ll definitely be coming back! Again, I’d like to say thank you to all the staff members you guys truly made our stay amazing and you can tell this staff are hard workers! Thank you again.

Very nice facility and so much to do in the area! The staff were phenomenal! Dee and Jeremy were accommodating and helpful in rectifying a situation with us needing an extra bed in our room. We were in town for my brother’s graduation from basic combat training. My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you guys so much!

The property Condition

Room was very nice and big! We had no problem sleeping in this room with 6 people (2 queen beds and a sleeper sofa). The beds were very comfortable. The free breakfast was good as well. The outdoor pool looked nice, but it closed at 8, so we were unable to go in it. The area around it was okay. I felt safe leaving my car there and walking to and from it, however, not safe enough to let my teens walk outside the hotel perimiter on their own. I would stay again at this hotel 100

The room was nice . Overall service was good . Peggy was very helpful and kind. The room was a good sized room . On the expensive side though . I requested towels a few times and then finally decided to go to the desk bc no one responded . Overall hot was a decent place to stay . The traffics in the area was heavy so it was a little loud at night with sirens and cars .

Really liked the set up in the suite which included microwave and dishwasher. Ideal for a family stay. Breakfast included was an added bonus. Would recommend.

Never been to South Carolina and chose this location on how close it was to Ft.Jackson AFB and the hotel was very clean and the customer service was EXCELLENT!! The room was very clean and had a small kitchen with refrigerator which was nice that we didn’t have to eat out for every meal. We will be staying here again.

The room was okay. Not dirty but did not feel clean. There was a major carpet stain that had not been addressed. Also the trash bags were draped in each waste can as opposed to being open.

The aroma of clean meets you at the door. The customer service representatives were so kind and helpful. They even asked us if we had a preference on what floor we wanted to stay on. Our room was spotless and very comfortable. A full size refrigerator, dishwasher, dishes and a sink....Who does that? The breakfast was phenomenal! We will definitely be staying here in the future.

The property exceeded expectations overall, except for a few issues: the dog next door barked for an hour starting at 6:45, and the breakfast service was disappointing. Although it closes at 9:00 AM, they stopped serving hot food by 8:25 AM. Anyone arriving after 8:30 AM found no hot food available except sausage and the self-serve waffles. These were the downsides of the stay.

Overall, room was comfortable, and we slept well. However the hotel did not live up to its 4+ rating. It was Dog friendly (we do not have a dog), but scent of spray in lobby to cover up pet odor was strong. Check in with very nice lady was a slow process. We got in late, went to bed shortly upon arrival, then we were awakened about 30 min after getting to room with the TV coming on spontaneously with a personalized message. Had to get up to turn it off. Dispenser was out of shampoo in shower. Bathroom mirror area was too dark to shave or put on makeup well. We were traveling as a large family with several small kids, had reserved rooms 2 months in advance, and were told on Check-In that we couldn’t get all the double rooms we reserved, and no adjoining rooms with doors for families with kids, as we had requested. Disappointing on several fronts.

Was in town with my daughter for a college interview. Hotel was very clean and had comfortable beds. Rooms were large. Breakfast was very good also with lots of choices. Would stay here again. Dunkin Donuts right in front of the hotel was a plus!

When we arrived we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful staff. The lobby area was clean and bright. The room was large, clean, and had a large TV with access to several streaming services that provided you access to whatever you wanted to watch. We would definitely stay again when in this area and look for this brand name when in other areas we travel to.

This was my first stay in this area. I was impressed with the room size, kitchen and bathroom. Looked modern. Was clean. Bed was comfortable and actually the pillows too. Strong shower water pressure is a plus. Nice hot water. Had shampoo and conditioner in big tubes and hand soap and lotion at the sink too. Keurig machine in the kitchen. Nice size fridge and some things under the sink I didn’t realize till we left. Plates and bowls and glasses and utensils. We did not get a chance to use the pool but it is outside. The hotel lobby was very inviting to me. Just a lot of seating and colors. There was also an outside seating area that was pretty too. There was a Dunkin’ Donuts in the same parking lot which was a huge bonus. Breakfast that was free was very good too. I would stay here again.

Was close to Williams-Brice Stadium but avoided heavy traffic on the southeast side. Not the nicest part of town, but a short drive Five Points.

It’s always a great experience staying at this hotel. The staff is phenomenal, especially Joann! Breakfast is good and coffee is exceptional. All areas are clean and rooms are very comfortable.

Nice large room with kitchenette. Plenty of storage space. Breakfast was above average and, more importantly, they offered a different variety of hot food options for breakfast. daily. The daily fresh cookie was an added perk.

Very comfortable stay and lovely experience at this hotel. We are a family of 6 and had more than enough room in our suite to live comfortably for the night. The rooms were beyond spacious! And the hotel staff were warm and welcoming.

Home 2 Suites is the place to stay. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The hotel lobby was amazing and the entire hotel is very clean. The rooms are amazing and have everything you need. I have never had an experience like this with any other hotel. I want thank everyone there for the welcoming hospitality.

I did find a tampon in bathroom behind trash can and toilet in bathroom. That was unsettling. Along with tons of tiny shaved black hairs all over wash cloths. I didnt complain i just cleaned it up and enjoyed my stay..but that was the only real disappointment. Staff was fantastic!!!!!

Not their fault but all the rescue vehicles driving by was the bulk of the noise issue.
