The breakfast was better than most hotels. It had an excellent selection and variety. The location is excellent, very easy to access from the interstate and close to multiple restaurants and shopping. The bed was extremely comfortable. The hotel appeared worn and not well maintained (cheap). The carpet in the room did not meet it's panel pieces so there were spaces exposing the floor underneath. The furniture was cheap. There was a dirty wash cloth in the bathroom above the shower head as well as used plastic utensils stuck in the chair. The room was not cleaned well. The shower head had no pressure.

Rude staff with loud and laughing on phone while customer waiting to be assisted. Room smelly and not clean, loud noise from ice machine could be heard in our room. Over all disappointed as we always try to stay at holiday inn express.

Hotel and room was clean and comfortable. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was fresh and very good. Wasn’t hot enough to get in the pool during my stay but it was a good plus.

I have stayed here numerous times because the location is in very close proximity to I-77 and has numerous restaurants nearby. The property is very clean, well maintained, safe, and the staff is always extremely pleasant. An excellent breakfast is also included as part of the booking

We checked into our room and I went to the window to pull them down and a cockroach 2 inches long ran across the room. We grabbed our stuff and left. The lady up front was nice. They didn’t give us a refund.

The room was spacious and well appointed. Breakfast was just passable. Choice of restaurants nearby. Check in could have been a little quicker. Confusion with the computer. All in all an OK stay.

The bathroom faucet and sink were absolutely horrible. Apparently while installing upgrades, someone forgot to test for functionality. The faucet was placed way too far back from the rim of the basin. So, every time you washed your hands, you had to actually put your hands on the rim to rinse the soap off and now you have water all over the countertop. What a mess!!!!!!

Nice hotel. Easy check in / check out. Beds and bathroom was clean EXCEPT the floors were not swept in our room. There were peanuts smashed on the floor and obvious dirt and crumbs in other areas. The floor behind the toilet was exceptionally dirty and looked as though it was not just missed for one day. Heat and air worked perfect. Other than the dirty floor we had no complaints.

I got deceived by thinking it was a dog friendly hotel which is not and ok I went to another, but the endup charging my Amex twice even after calling you guys and now having Amex solve this for me since they agreed to cancel and reimbursed twice already but nothing happens. Thanks

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The room was clean and beds and pillows were comfortable. The breakfast had many choices including fresh bananas and apples. A plus for us. The one thing that could use a little work was the carpets. While many areas had vinyl floor the hallways and a small portion of our room had carpet. The carpeted areas were stained and maybe a bit worn. Because of everything else being good and the pleasant staff, I would stay there again

We had to wait for housekeeping to come down and enter the rooms in as the line of guest increased in the lobby. It took almost an hour to get us checked in. My kids and I FINALLY got upstairs and the room they gave us was wrong. I went back downstairs and told the front desk staff, and she said she would fix it, but the line was so long with guests trying to check in, I knew it would be a long wait. Fortunately, the housekeeper was in the hall, and I spoke with her (I think she was the manager of that area) She looked at her sheet, and immediately moved us to the right room, she also went downstairs and got us changed in the system. We just had to grab the new key cards. We were in a rush, so we put our things down, changed clothes and had to leave. We get back later that night, and I noticed that there was no linen for the pullout sofa. I went downstairs and she said she would have them bring it right up to us. I go back to the room and almost an hour later still no linen. I went back downstairs she sees me and "remembers" and I was then given some linen only to see the fitted sheet had a nasty stain on it when I got upstairs. I just put it on the floor near the towels to be picked up. I left a very nice note for housekeeping just asking to please replace the stained sheet and to leave me a blanket for the pullout and of course when I got back to the room, the letter was moved but they didn't leave me anything I asked for. The refrigerator did not work at all. (At this point I was too aggravated to even complain about it). The next day, my kids and I were out at an event all day and got back to the room after midnight, very exhausted only to find our key cards had stopped working. The staff was very courteous, friendly and helpful. We were greeted at check-in. Housekeeping was fantastic and their breakfast was good on top of that there’s free parking.

Nothing I was double charged and nobody from the hotel will give me a call back. It’s been 5 days and a manager keeps putting me off.

Staff were very nice! Rooms clean.

This was my first time staying at a holiday inn ever, so I wasn't expecting anything more than a clean room, which I got. But I was pleasantly surprised at how nice and enjoyable the staff was. Also, they had a pretty good spread of breakfast options. I would stay here again on my next trip down to Columbia.

Breakfast was great, Staff Ms. KD was superb. Conditions were quiet. No complaints.

Bedding was clean floors were not. Sentimental item was accidentally left behind and staff made no attempt at helping. Rooms not well maintained carpet tiles were peeling off and gaping.

This is a very good place to stay and get a reliable hotel. It's close to the interstate and easy to find. Plenty of restaurants to choose from within a short distance. This place was clean and quiet and had a very adequate breakfast included.

Too many problems. Room curtains didn’t work. Rooms were switched last min after assignment. Bathroom door was horrible. Pancake machine was not working. Very dirty elevator and it’s surrounding. Felt like 0 star motel. I will not refer or recommend this to anyone.

There was a horrible odor in the hallways. Housekeeping began beating (like the police) on guest doors @8:00a yelling "Housekeeping" waking up guest.

The room was neat and clean. The bathroom was spacious with a great shower. Mini fridge was great for keeping drinks cold. The staff was great as well. Breakfast was good. The only issue we had was that the bed was way to hard and not very comfortable. You couldn't hardly get up and walk for a few minutes. Another gentleman we met in the elevator said he and his wife had the same problem.

Our room floors are dirty. I know it has not been cleaned in at least two weeks because the clock is still ahead by an hour.

I informed the front desk who came over to the room and verified the weird sewage smell but said the hotel was sold out and could not move me but would inform the manager to see what can be done. I never heard from the manager so nothing was done and they didn’t care. I couldn’t change hotels because I was there for my son’s graduation and the surrounding hotels were sold out as well.

However, facility does not meet ADA standards, as I understand them. The bathroom door was not wide enough for hubby’s wheelchair. Therefore, he could not shower during our stay. Most of his personal hygiene care was done in the hallway of the room. The commode was not ADA guidelines in height. The bed was too tall for a handicapped person—probably over 36” high. Had to buy a step stool to get mobility handicapped hubby in bed. HOWEVER, grab bars were adequate near commode “ in shower-if he could have stood in there long enough to shower. I wou be happy to be contacted if more details are needed!

Although clean and relatively quiet, there were a couple of homeless people begging in and near the parking lot. I did advise the front desk but, unfortunately, there was little that they could do.

I have stayed there 5 times over the last 5 months. I have family nearby. The staff are very kind and courteous. The bed is made well and decor is decent. Each time, the floors are so dirty, both in the hallway and room. I could not figure this out. This last time there were crumbs on the bed tables, coffee stains on the coffee counter and excessive debris on the floor. The manager was great about it and sent housekeeping to fix it and moved us to another room. But it too was dirty int he same way, just not as bad. Housekeeping came to our second room too. This is the worst Holiday inn express I have stayed in. Room was super clean! And staff member were very good. But a bad smell in the hallway. Walls dirty. And you could tell is an old building that they have only replaced some stuff to make it look nicer but the pictures really fool you.

The elevator was in poor shape. The sink was partially clogged in it room. And if i wasn't a plumber by trade the toilet would have ran allll night. And it wasn't new because the tank was empty when we got there. And there was mold in the tub. Good customer service can only go do far.

Only issue we had was lack of water flow in bathroom sink. We notified the front desk and they stated another adjacent room had the same issue. They assured us they would correct the problem promptly. Otherwise, very pleased our stay.

We didn’t enjoy this stay because it was impossible to sleep due to that toilet bowl continuously flushing itself every 10minutes! It was late when we checked in and we just wanted a good night sleep but couldn’t due to that issue!

Quick, friendly check in. Property is very clean. The only downside to this stay was that we were positioned on the top floor, room at the end of the hall, the shower was great but the water pressure in the sink was a dribble. And, for the first time ever the mattress seemed to be a little saggy. We also noticed that the rug had been swept but was needing some deep cleaning. There were some areas that looked like somebody had walked some sticky candy into the rug. However, we realize that not all patrons take care of a property when they stay.

The front desk clerk, Andrena, was soooo warm and welcoming and she was most helpful with room arrangements. The room was pleasant, clean and the hotel area was quiet and well maintained. Definitely will consider this hotel on my next visit.

Old. Muggy. Outdated. Not worth the price.

Arrived earlier than expected to the property. The sweetest agent, Victoria, welcomed us and allowed us to check in. The elevators were down that Friday but I needed to exercise so got in a few steps. Some guests were upset however the staff did their best to fix the issue. Cleaning crew was amazing. Rooms and hallways were spotless. I’m going back in a few weeks and will book at this Two Notch Rd location. Guests seemed friendly too. Five stars.

Excellent front desk staff members. I was greeted daily by name. I have stayed at many hotels and only remembered being greeted when I checked in and out. When I walked by the front desk lobby I was always greeted.

The room is perfect, clean and comfortable. I’m in dining area now and just enjoyed some breakfast. The morning staff is so friendly and kind, chatting with customers, smiling and laughing. She made the start of my day a good one!

The breakfast was great, but . . . I reserved an accessible room three weeks before the trip. When I got there, they told me that they only had a few accessible rooms, and they were all taken. The hostess was a bit rude and blamed it on the prior shift for giving away my room. Not only that, but the elevator was broken so I had to walk up and down three flights of stairs. The shower floor was very slippery, and I didn't have any grab bars. Very scary. There was a terrible smell coming from the bathroom vent. I thought vents were supposed to take air out, but this one was bringing in a cat spray smell. If I kept the bathroom door closed, the room didn't smell too bad, until I had to use the bathroom. The hotel had been recently renovated and looked nice, but the shower plate that indicates hot and cold was on upside down.

The staff was very nice. I got in really late and they were wonderful helping me get settled quickly. I was in town to see my son at Fort Benning - It was a little bit of a drive, but it felt like a safe area. Would recommend.

Accessing the internet was difficult as well.

I called to let them know we would be an extremely late check in. They cancelled my 2 night reservation saying I was a no show. The woman at the desk was rude and did nothing to help.

The bathroom doors are extremely noisy. I could hear other rooms closing their doors all night long.

I felt that this place is perfect for the overnight traveler who needs rest and a place to relax for the night. All they have to offer is enough and then it offers breakfast too.

The hotel itself was nice, I liked the rooms and it was updated, comfortable bed. Staff really nice. With so much going for it, I was disappointed in how dirty the floors and carpet were. I found someone’s hair in the bed, bathroom floor not clean and red fuzz in the sheets that I thought were bed bugs at first. The hallway carpets did not look like anyone had vacuumed them in a long time. I’d like to stay again but it has to be cleaner.

There were 2 tour buses and a high school bus at the hotel and it appeared that they were not ready for this volume of guests for breakfast. Saturday morning there were items available but you had to ask for items because the one worker could not keep up with the level of items needed. Sunday morning there was no milk or juice so we had to give up and grab breakfast elsewhere because we had a competition to get to. The beds were also squeaky and there was a loud train that passed by several times during the night.

I booked this hotel specifically because the description said they had bathtubs but when I arrived I was told there were no bathtubs, only showers. My partner needs a bathtub for medical reasons. I was told because it was a non refundable reservation I would not get my money back.

Great place for stay on our travel driving down south. One disadvantage I heard a train pass by twice during the night. That was a little annoying.

The fire alarm went off multiple times. Ruined my trip by going off at 5:30AM and having to vacate the property.

This hotel is close to where my children live. I can hop on the highway and go to exits down to my kids house. Easy, nice location.

Hotel was clean and renewed. However, sofa bed was extremely uncomfortable and the shower box is not properly sealed so the bathroom floor was flooded every time we showered.

I never stay at this hotel I seen cockroaches in my room I spoke with front desk Name by Mary she ignored my complaint I took video of insects she was try to explain me in south is too hot so it is common I told her what she did not reply at all

Beat-up, old, dirty and incredibly noisy. Don't be fooled by the pictures, this feels like a cheap motel...

Staff was great but the conditions of the location were not top notch. Location seemed very outdated; ice machines did not work had to move rooms due to broken ac/heat unit. TVs were not smart and carpets were not the cleanest.

Hotel and Rooms are very dated and 1 of the elevators didn't work. Ice machines didn't work on most levels. An older couple asked if the area was safe? Twisted my ankle on the front steps which were uneven. Terrible experience

This was my first time eating continental breakfast that was served had some good options. The stay was great no loud noise no weird smoke smells either. Customer service was excellent
