We were terribly disappointed in several things. First of all, it would have been Nice to know that there was no lobby (renovations)! You checked in in the hallway. The second thing was that the pool closed for renovations too! No signage anywhere, like pardon us while we renovate.... Nothing! It was an anniversary stay! I am disappointed that Expedia didn't notify me either! I will writing a letter to the general manager asking for a resolution to our disappointment. I always booked through Expedia. I am second guessing myself as to why I should continue to be loyal. The problem is, I'm just one person and this will most likely be ignored. But, word of mouth does carry weight... 🤔

They are doing construction so finding the way into the building from the self pay parking garage was a little tricky but staff was helpful. Perhaps a little signage if you’re parking and walking in could be helpful. Parking to the front entrance

The bed covers were dingy and highly stained. The bedding had mildew and other stains on the covers. I was bit by something in the bed. Advised manager and he did not seam to care. Just brushed my complaints off. Told me the bite on my arm was probably a mosquito and I strongly feel it may have been a bedbug. WILL NEVER STAY AT THE HILTON COLUMBIA CENTER EVER AGAIN! Pictures of the bedding below.

Front desk person when we checked in was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet wasn't great. Some of the meat like the sausage was lukewarm at best and some of them were cold. Also we weren't given the option to order off the menu and get an omelet like the table next to us.

They should at least have coffee available in the mornings. It was provided at one time - but now they have a sign up that the machine is out of order - which it has been for over year now.

Front desk staff was friendly helpful and courteous. Bathroom sink was cracked. On the 8th floor there was a continuous machine wiring sound all the time. Sounded like maybe the AC units on the roof.

How clean and comfortable it was and how close it was to many food places and shops so I could walk around and really get a feel of Vista. The only thing I had a problem with was the keycards they had to replace mine four times within my weekend stay. The lady at the desk was very nice and said that they are switching to a new keycard system soon so the issue should be resolved as well.

I had two separate reservations and asked prior to my visit if I could stay in the same room for both. I was told yes, that wouldn’t be a problem. Once I got there, I confirmed again about staying in the same room and was again told yes. The next morning when I went to check out and check back in, the girls at the front told me I couldn’t because that room was promised to someone else and I would have to pack my things and move. I informed them politely that I was told twice that I could stay in my same room and even gave them the names of who I spoke with. They kept rolling their eyes and wouldn’t let me finish my sentence until I asked for a manager to help. Once the manager came and fixed the issue, I asked a few more questions, which I was ignored and when I was handed my keys, I thanked them for their help and they said nothing, complete silence. They were disrespectful and rude. I would have given 4 stars if it hadn’t been for them.

I was charged for two rooms by booking.com and was only given one room the person at check in told me booking only had thier Cardin one room so I had to pay for the other room on my Amex So I paid for two rooms but was charged for three High end hotels are always nice

My husband called a day before to request a rollaway bed. They told him its first come fitst serve. He called again the day of when we were at airport before we flew from Chicago to south carolina. Our flight ended up being late we got in around 11pm at night tbe hotel employee said he would have someone bring a rollaway bed there were 2 available. He went down an hour later to check because we were waiting in room. Employee was sitting down and said oh housekeeping went home for the night. And that him or the other employee had dont have keys to the closet to get us one. He also didnt apologize or try to do anything. Nor did he bother to tell us. Very unprofessional and terrible experience. The next day different staff member said we will call around and have one sent. 2 hours goes by nothing 2 more hours nothing. Finally they just switched our room to a double bed. I am requesting first nights charges to be refunded to the card ending in 1514 for this.

In the end the manager removed the charge and I saved $5 by not agreeing to pay a fee that I never agreed to pay the hotel. This was my second time at this hotel this year. I was unable to cancel my reservation at the hotel. My meeting was canceled. Therefore I didn’t need hotel reservations. I called and cancelled 2 days before I was scheduled to arrive.

We enjoyed our stay!

The front desk folks were too busy talking to each other to even make eye contact with us. The property itself is a bit past needing a refresh, especially the “suite” we got. Housekeeping never showed up. The ladies at the restaurant (Ruth’s Chris) offered to seat us at the bar for dinner, not because the restaurant was full but rather because they were short of staff that evening. Really, I haven’t left a bad review anywhere, but I can’t just let you make the same mistake without at least warning you.

This hotel is just okay. I’ve stayed at many other hotels in the Columbia area and this was the least impressive by far. In general it feels pretty outdated, but it’s not dirty—everything just has a used feel to it. I was here two nights and it surprised me that the room wasn’t serviced while I was out and before the second night. I’m used to the bed being made, used towels removed, new provided. There are also no bottles of water provided in the room which I’m used to at other properties. There was nothing horrible about the stay. It was just less than I’m used to and wouldn’t be my first choice for the next time I’m in town for work.

The perfect place to stay in Columbia if you’re going to an event and you want to dine, they have the roof Chris inside and you have amazing view if you get the right room 10 out of 10.

Nice appearance, pretty clean and friendly staff. Rooms seem dated, shower drips to the point you can hear it in the room, shower drain drips very loudly, chair arms torn. Again, at least my room, clean but appears heavily used/dated.

Extremely dirty place. Room furniture is falling apart. No hot water for showers. Most of the staff was beyond rude. Hallways and elevators seemed to only be cleaned weekly which left them pretty gross. Don't let the Hilton name fool you. Management has bent over backwards to show that they could not care any less about the property. Avoid the headaches and look elsewhere

For the room to be 334 dollar for 1 night I expected a lot more from Hilton. The covers were very dingy looking, the bathroom was not too clean, and it was old, rust was by the tub. I also paid for valet, well I had an early check out to catch an early morning flight and valet was off at 11pm so I had to go get my own car but I paid for valet to park my car and bring me my car when it’s time to go. The carpet in the hotel was very dirty also. I’m definitely not please especially for the price I will be getting in contact with HQ

Front desk staff did not seem interested in their job and lacked communication skills. Overall, visit was good. Facility is clean and beautiful. Area felt safe and there are many places to dine.
