The hotel was great. But I couldn't get the AC to the temperature that I wanted to get it too.

It was located to the facility I was directed to for my being in Columbia.

Hotel main area and dining room were very clean I had to call two days to have my room trash cleaned and to get towels, staff advised they only clean every other day. At $200 per night I expect better See above

The room was clean and well maintained, staff was friendly and helpful, and breakfast was hot and fresh. We didn't use the pool or gym, but we were impressed overall.

For the amount of money I paid I expected better staff around breakfast time. I stayed two nights they only clean your rooms every other day. The breakfast worker needed at least another person to help her by 7am the trash cans were full and she could not keep up with the amount of hotel guest trying to get a bite to eat.

I was attending a bootcamp graduation so didn’t get to partake in the breakfast. The room was very clean. Parking was amazing. There were a lot of restaurants close. Only issue I had was the TV. Room was very clean.

Its in a scary part of town to be honest. There had just been a car jacking and homicide the night before in the same general area so we were pretty scared.

Price could be a little lower

The room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was very good with many options and the staff was nice and friendly. The location was not far from Fort Jackson or food places.

Lady on the front desk was very nice and helpful regarding several questions I had.

Staff was fine, nice. They are in the middle of a remodel and this was a noise and convenience issue, as they were banging and drilling early in the morning. One morning the workers were drilling and hammering in the breakfast area over the food. A boss came in and stopped them when I arrived. Housekeeping wise there was only one issue. When drying off after a shower I was covered with long black hairs which were not mine. I supposed they were already on the towel and I started over with a different towel that was okay. Shower doors are completely transparent which offers no privacy. Room itself was very clean.

The hotel was under construction. The main floor was a hot mess. construction items all over the place. Limited parking due to construction. Waited an hour for the manager to get their because the system was down. The attendant that was on duty was extremely helpful and was trying to do everything she could to get us settled in.

Very nice room. Clean and comfortable bed. Friendly staff. Stayed here several times and the breakfast was ok bit this time it was terrible. Everything was cold and the potatoes and eggs were terrible. The bacon was very undercooked and the coffee was horrible. If you staying here for the free breakfast don’t bother. There is a waffle house a block away.

I had an awesome stay at this Particular Hotel Although it was undergoing a renovation which was in progress the staff were very accommodating and the hotel was still noticeably clean while renovations were ongoing.

Staff does a great job keeping public areas clean… don’t be afraid to book this property! Good breakfast choices!!

Our stay had great customer service, not to happy it was 1/2 under construction which made pool closed.

We stayed here in Dec 2024 when we came to get our soldier for Christmas. We booked again coming back for his gradation and family day. Breakfast was amazing alone with the staff we encountered. They are still doing renovations at the hotel but we knew that and were ok with it.

Other than that, my stay at this property was the worst I’ve ever had at any hotel in my entire life. This property is doing renovations on the 3rd and 4th floors, and I was placed on the 2nd floor in room 209…directly below a room they were consistently renovating during my entire stay! From the time we arrived until the time we checked out on Monday (before checkout time due to the inconveniences), there were loud renovation noises throughout the whole day, starting around 7am—I’ve got multiple videos finally documenting the noise…we got no rest and my birthday weekend was ruined due to lack of sleep and not being able to relax in the room I paid good money for! Not only that, my room was grungy—stains on the mattress, which was also terribly uncomfortable…I slept on the bed for 2 days and I am now suffering from really bad pain in my right hip due to the springs digging into my body all night. The ironing board looked disgusting and like it was molding. There was a dirty, rusty tissue dispenser in the bathroom, and the shower water was lukewarm at best, even with it turned all the way to hot. Fridge barely got cold, ruining the food we attempted to store inside of it, and the black multi-plug was faulty.

Property is under renovation….the rooms not yet renovated are very dated….stained furniture.

There was Chinese man in night shift. He was not helpful at all.

Good atmosphere

We booked as we were able to pick up our soldier for Christmas and had to drive 6hrs to get him. Very close to the base so it was easy to pick him up. Plenty of dinning options around. Renovations are going on when we were there but we knew that ahead of time. Customer service was top notch and breakfast was really good. We have to come back soon and rebooked for that stay as well.

Property was/is being renovated, so it was a little dirty. Understandable. And not a lot of parking due to this. But we stay here every time we come through and there’s never an issy

Check-in after a long day went smoothly and was accompanied by bottles of water and warm cookies. We found the rooms to be precisely what we expected.

The breakfast lady( sorry I don't remember her name) was very nice and we had a nice chat in the morning, She said she would see about the filet minion I requested when she said if there is anything you need that I don't see for breakfast just ask. Wonderful woman. Oh yeah, the breakfast was GREAT!!!!!

There was mold in the ac unit. The shower did not have a dip to catch the water so the water went all over the bathroom floor. The bedding or pillows smelled like mildew. The overnight staff was just ok. The morning staff was super nice. Especially the lady running the breakfast.

The regional manager had slept in our room lol. After driving 15hrs from Canada, with 3 kids. Not the best arrival. And then they kindly moved us to another room with a clogged toilet. Overall staff was nice and the property is nice but those were two pretty big inconveniences after a long day of travel.

Will not stay again

I checked in at 10:40 pm. Only to be woken up to an on ongoing domestic dispute that started around 1:15 am. I called front desk at 1:40am to get help to stop the arguing. It continued even after another patron was told to call 911. Now I have been trying to return calls to manager I’m told she very busy and they don’t know when she can call me back. I feel like I’m being avoided. All of this after a long stressful drive through monsoon and having to fill out paperwork because computer systems were down at hotel.

Firstly, I reserved a room with two queen beds, when the lady was selecting a room for me, her coworker told her to not select that room and to put me in a different room. When I got to the room, it was two full beds instead (made me upset because I shared a bed with a wild sleeping 7 year old) when I got there the elevators were out of order so I had to climb all the way to the top floor. Nice right? Outside of the beds being smaller than what I paid for, the tv was smaller than expected. The tub was backed up so we weren’t able to stand in the shower and wash. I’ve have stayed here before, don’t know what happened with this hotel but they need to do better.

Room needs updated - see that an overall renovation is planned. Brought toilet issue to front desk at departure - toilet keep running (very slowly) and the wall behind the toilet had some mold and was wet.

Checked in at 5 pm and was told the room that was supposed to be available at 3 pm was not available yet and that it would take another 20 minutes until it would be available after waiting an hour I asked to speak with a manager and was very rudely told the manager was “busy” and that I would have to wait. Once we finally got to the room we noticed mold on carpet. Was told only a double room was available mi d you we paid in full for a king deluxe room! Will never stay there again!

This property is definitely in need of an update. I’m used to Marriott properties and this one simply didn’t measure up. I would not recommend this property.

The hotel was average. The beds were fine, but not great. Everything was clean, the bathroom was dated. The fridge rattled and vibrated all night which woke me up every single time. The charging outlets beside the bed did not work which I unfortunately did not discover until the morning. Breakfast was average, but no bacon. This was disappointing especially considering there photo of the included breakfast shows a big tray of bacon. Pool was out of service which I did not know when booking the room.

Poor service, poor maintenance & poor housekeeping. Nice building, room & breakfast.

Filthy hotel

Employee was not trained efficiently therefore causing our reservation to be no showed. GM would not take responsibility for their lack of professionalism and we paid twice for our stay because of their horrible service.

The front desk clerk, Edwin, was awful. So rude and inconsiderate of guests. He rolled his eyes at me several times and when I asked to speak to a manager instead of him he said there was no manager on site. I then asked for a supervisor and he said there was someone in the back but he wouldn't get her. He told me more than he should have stating that he couldn’t guarantee a room by check in because room service only cleaned 1 room in 3 hours. I left and returned after eating out and he said oh there was 1 available but I gave it to someone else. He couldn’t tell me an estimated time or anything. He just stood there fidgeting with his water bottle. You’re suppose to feel welcome walking into an establishment like a hotel and he made us feel like we were in his way. Someone that doesn’t want to do his job, lazy and rude. Will never return to this hotel because of that employee. We did finally get a room and I will say the morning staff at breakfast was delightful.

Every staff member greeting me every time I walked in or out. They all were incredibly helpful with everything and I felt I was just as important as anyone else. Smiles all the time and a warm safe feeling always. I will for sure only book at this hotel anytime I visit family. Thank you
