    This was the 2nd worst hotel I've ever stayed at. The place was dirty. The room was dirty, the floor needed to be vacuumed, the bathroom floor needed to be mopped, the 2nd floor hallway needed to be vacuumed, there was trash all around the property, and the place smelled like they were smoking pot the whole time we were there. I will Never go back to that hotel again.

    The property smelled of marijuana. The carpets throughout the facility looked as if they hadn’t been vacuumed in a very long time. There were holes in the bathroom door, sheets had stains from overuse, the ice machine was nonfunctional. Only positive: no bed bugs.

    The exterior was nice and deceiving, the lobby was nice but unclean. I checked in at 3pm and when I checked out at 10am the lobby or the stairs and the walkways were never vacuumed. The pool was not in service for which is why I even rented the room. Was told that the pool had been down for a long time. The room was dated , bad stains thru out the carpet. The pull out couch cushion was so stained we wouldn't even use it . There was so much stuff under it that it looked like no one has either in forever. This place is independently owned and it definitely shows that the owner don't seem to care about their property. And definitely shows that corporate don't do a very good job at inspecting there properties that use their name. The breakfast was great.

    Room was like a meat freezer. TV could not display You Tube or Netflix. Other shows were pure trash. Work out machine was inoperable. Staff behind the desk were like the walking dead. This entire property needs to be trashed, renewed or refurbished.

    It was close to where I needed to be The fact that it cost $180 when my original booking at another location for $130 was cancelled without my knowledge and I had to rebook through booking.com is irritating. Then booking agrees to credit me $32 for the difference but sends me a link that no browser will open infuriates me. Don’t think I will use booking.com again. Very poor customer service.

    The pool and hot tub were unaccessible and we were uninformed prior to check in. The room was not what was expected by pictures. Our room was dirty and filled with flies and mold. We were told we were unable to get a refund and needed to calling booking.com to dispute the charges. My card on file was then charged nine seperate times for all different charges coming to a total of $900 and my debit card ended up locked. Mind you we had traveled 18 hours to get there and nowhere near my bank chain. Overall HORRIBLE experience.

    Everything was clean and the employees were very nice. Rooms were clean and the air conditioning was cold. Breakfast was good and hit the spot before a busy day. Thank you for a overall good stay. The common areas smelled like weed. Dont care what people do but at least try to be discrete. Children were there. Air conditioning didnt work in the common areas. It made for no circulation that would have dissipated the weed smell.

    The phone in the room was not connected and we had to go down to the lobby to speak with someone. I felt very sorry for the young lady that was helpful with our TV. The coffee maker was missing the holder for the pod. There is only one ice maker in the entire building and it only had ice once when we needed it. Disappointing

    No pool available since it has been down for a while one of the staff said. Breakfast was ok, and equipment room was well stocked, but a machine was down for repairs. Staff did help as much as they could, and helped answers questions.

    As far as the property itself, it was great and very remote location. The grounds are well kept in the rooms were immaculately clean. The breakfast was awesome. The problem that I had that could possibly be fixed was the young man who checked us in. He quite seemed very impatient and he had a little bit of a negative attitude. We had plans to stay longer, however seem to me that he was not welcoming so we decided to go elsewhere after our second night staying there

    The moment we got to the desk to check in we should have taken the loss and went elsewhere. The desk staff was rude! When we walked up he acted like we were an inconvenience and disturbing his phone call on his cell. He was annoyed while checking us in and wouldn’t answer questions without an attitude. The staff refused to give their names let alone wear a badge so you know that they are a legit hotel worker. The room was dirty, they only provided 1 towel for 3 people and when we asked for more they wouldn’t let us have one extra. When we asked about the pool the front desk guy told us it was closed indefinitely and not to ask again. That was not in the hotel description and a major reason we booked this hotel. The entire hotel was dirty, vomit was in the elevator several times, smell of weed in the halls due to people smoking weed in the parking lot next to the doors, they only provided a thin sheet and a very thin blanket on the beds which were dirty. The room was either hot or freezing cold. You couldn’t be control the temperature other than AC or heat. According to the reviews I had read it was a nice hotel! I wonder if its own staff is making those reviews not actual guests! The breakfast was a joke! It was just cereal and toast. The windows were never cleaned and covered in a nasty film. The bathroom had no ventilation. I will never stay at this hotel again or let anyone I know stay there!

    Our hotel room was dirty. The carpet was filthy. Thank goodness, the bed seemed to have clean linens, but that was the only redeeming quality. Breakfast offerings were minimal at best. The entry to the hotel is in dire need of power washing. The parking lot had lots of trash scattered around. There was not even one bench or place to sit outside. I would not choose to stay at this hotel again.

    There wasn’t enough breakfast to feed everyone. Everyone was complaining. The pool was working but closed and when the staff was asked they said it was because management wasn’t there until Tuesday to ask if they could open it. This was the main reason we booked was do an indoor pool and breakfast.

    This property is tidy but not clean. It’s treated like an extended stay. The front desk staff are unprofessional. Mainly the young man with the locs. I can’t remember his name. But his demeanor is unwelcoming. And not to mention my fiancé told me that he witnessed something while unpacking the car between the desk clerk with the locs and a woman. He actually had an altercation with a woman that claimed he physically abused her as she waved a weapon at him and threatened to use it if he continued to “put his hands on her. As she followed him from the lobby to the parking lot.

    Have had better luck with this chain elsewhere but skip this one. Carpet covered in stains. Paper thin walls. Hair dryer ripped off the wall and no substitute offered.     The breakfast menu was not fresh. Breakfast would run out an hour into service. I stayed there for a week and not 1 time had my linen changed. When I called to the service desk I was told house keepers called out and they only serviced check out rooms first. When checking in and associating with the check in desk, the associate was always on a personal phone call either via video chat or with headphones in. It was a very unprofessional environment, poorly staff, and service was one of the worst I've ever had at a hotel before.

    The first room I got the ac was broken. They had to switch my room. Inconvenience, but I appreciated the workers understanding. They were very professional and nice.     The hotel was much different than photos, the entire building smelled like marinuana and our room was very dirty. The staff was not helpful in remediating the cleanliness instead stated we only get what’s already provided in the room. Was denied any type of compensation for the poor conditions and treatment instead had to pay $9 to cancel the second night of the reservation.

    I had to abruptly leave shortly after checking in due to poor customer service and extremely poor cleanliness. Upon checking in, we weren’t properly greeted, as the gentleman was on his phone the entire duration of the checking in process. After arriving to the room, we noticed several stains alongside the mattress, stained/molded curtains, dirty walls and lamp shade, amongst other issues. There was a spoon in the side of the bed from a previous stay. Having severe allergies requiring me to carry an epi pen at all times, this posed an alarming health risk. I went to take a shower and noticed that we didn’t have any washcloths and the towels appeared to have not been washed. My husband went to obtain washcloths and towels from the front desk and was told that we’re only allowed two per room. We immediately left and went to another hotel.

    Horrible, horrible, horrible customer service. Me and my wife decided to stay here for her birthday weekend. When we checked into our room we immediately noticed stains on the sheets. So we went back to the front desk receptionist (he said his name was cash), cash got us a key to another room and to our surprise the other room had the exact same issue. We were beyond frustrated at this point and cash was no help to our frustration. He was rude, nasty, unprofessional and completely nonchalant about the whole situation! As I said earlier we decided to stay here for my wife’s birthday weekend, instead of him understanding he decides to argue back and forth with us. We just wanted a refund and to receive a little compassion. I will never stay with any other country inn and will not recommend them to any friends or family. I wish I could give zero stars!     The room had dark stains all over the carpet, it was evident the carpet was not vacuumed. The room was covered in dust. The bathroom trash was not emptied. The front desk attendant was rude and on the phone in his ear bud talking while getting my room keys. I wouldn’t stay here again.

    The staff were soooo nice! Really A+ for them. The rooms (we ended up moving to a different one) were gross. Toothpaste stains on the vanity, discolored/stained carpet, furniture, tub, doors, walls, everything. Thankfully the sheets were clean and fresh smelling and bed was comfy or we would have left. Hotel seemed super full, but rooms were actually quiet. “Breakfast” both mornings were scant. Some white bread slices in a baggie, yogurt, or the cheapest apples money can buy was all that was left by 8:15 am… oh and in a 4 foot deep pool, you couldn’t see your feet it was so cloudy. Location was good though.

    Check in had a technical glitch with the company’s server/system. But things worked out and I was able to check in. The front desk representative was very nice. Given the technical problems and the number of people she had to check in, she responded to the problem professionally.

    Front desk was nice and friendly. Room condition was disgusting. Greasy fingerprints all over mirror. Carpet very dirty and stained. Countertops you could see visibly grime and bathroom floors you could see the dirt all over and in grout. Did not look to be touched in awhile other than new trash bags.

    The rooms A/C was loud and wouldn’t work 80 degrees upon arrival the sheets and beds were dirty and had wrapper and piecing under mattresses. The carpet and walls had stains and were sticky the shower curtain was broken. It was awful we couldn’t stay and sleep. We took pictures of everything… Plus, they want one hundred for deposit and it’s nasty and filthy the pics and advertisements are so misleading!!!! Do not stay HERE!!!!

    or several times when trying to get clean towels delivered to the room. They said they would bring to the room but never showed up. Then they said just pick up at the desk when we got back. When we did that, then they said we needed to bring the dirty ones down to exchange. But they couldn't bring to the room. No hair dryer in the room and apparently not anywhere in the hotel. Huge dead bug in corner of room. Each night of our stay, we were treated to endless knocking on walls and doors, loud voices, and on the last night a domestic dispute that probably should have had the police involved. Swimming pool was closed 2 of 3 nights we were there. Pancake machine was not working at least one of the days and the sausage gravy looked like it was the same from the day before. Beds and pillows were decent and we did at least sleep well.

    Convenient and easy place to stay. First room smelled likes weed and had some gold fish crackers under the furniture. Candy on the floor in the bedroom.     The rooms were filthy. The furniture was in horrible condition. We had to change rooms twice. The first room had live baby roaches, the second room had dead roaches and the heat did not work. The furniture in both rooms was very worn with holes and stains. The staff was rude when we complained. The pancake machine during breakfast did not work properly. The outside of the establishment is beautiful, but the inside does meet the same expectations. We were very disappointed.

    I was turned away at the check in desk because I had 2 dogs with me. I booked this hotel because Expedia's website was "pet friendly.". They informed my son and me that they only accept service dogs. That is required by law, and does not fit the description of "pet friendly."

    Filthy room, musty smell, evidence of roaches on the bathroom floor, wall soiled, guest service, attempted offer several room and they were all unacceptable, guest services agree to the uncleanliness. I am constantly having problems with booking through this site. The standards has changed and the quality is poor and unappealing. I waste time and rest with the poor choices that is getting worse all the time.

    The lobby was nice enough, but the rooms were unkept and dirty bathroom and damaged walls. Every lamp shade in the room had holes and burned damage. One lamp would not even stand up straight. The ac/heat vents were full of debris and dirt. Disappointing, since it was well kept outside and convenient location.

    Nolan at the front desk was wonderful. However, before arrival we asked if the hot tub was working & the pool. We were told yes. This was the main reason we booked this specific hotel.     My wife’s vehicle was broken into, and the staff was less than willing to help and be cooperative with law-enforcement in their investigation. Numerous people we’ve talked to today on November 16. Have All told us that as a terrible part of town one star rating would never stay here again.

    Front desk people were always on the phone and beyond unfriendly. The rooms were disgusting. There’s literally watermarks on the lamp the ceiling the floor had a huge black stain on it. Water was leaking from the tub. It smelled horrible. Walking up the stairs there was just mud and dirt. It was terribly unclean. I feel like the super eight across the street would’ve had rooms in better conditions.The breakfast was good.

    I was given the small, dirty, olia to old, poorly cleaned carpets, horrible whatever I can say about that. dirty stockings of former guests, it was horrible. and in hab 404 my 2-year-old grandson slept on a cockroach that was under the sheets! when we woke up we saw such pigs, and another cockroach on the dead floor. how disgusting. and my grandson sleeping on top of that. we asked them to do deep cleaning and when we got back to the hotel at 9 pm, they had only removed the cockroaches and had not cleaned anything. they changed us to 424 and it was smaller than the one I paid, and smelling the same. I demand reimbursement, or something because this is going to know everything google. my family was disgusted with so much dirt

    Roaches. Fire alarm going off at 8AM. Ask for a 100$ security deposit(price if the room) so your paying 200 dollars. They say youll get it back in 3-5 business days. I havent recieved mine back. I have called multiple times and they tell me there is nothing they can do. Room had what looked like mold. Such a dirty place with a lack of care for the consumer. Do yourself a favor and book somewhere else.

    I will never stay at this property again! Room/Bedding were questionable. Stains on rug, hole in window screen, picture glass on wall was broken, sheets/bedding weren’t clean. They were stained and old. Person next to us the first night was VERY noisy until 2am. Front desk staff were NOT helpful at all with any questions because they were brand new and had only been in SC for 4 days so couldn’t help with any questions we asked. I’m VERY DISAPPOINTED with how much it cost me for a 2 night stay with all of the above.

    This hotel is disgusting! I don’t understand how they are allowed to stay open and run in that shape. The floors looked like they haven’t been vacuumed in months. There was a moldy hole in the wall in the bathroom. I asked to be moved to a different room and the front desk girl had an attitude about having to move me. And the room I was moved to wasn’t much different. That room also had a disgusting hole in the wall in the bathroom. Marks and missing paint on the walls, missing hair dryer, stains all over the carpet and furniture. There was no A/C in the hallways, so they were hot and smelled bad. I would definitely not stay here until the owner makes some major changes!

    We got to the hotel from VA around 8pm. There was some rain on the way down and the hotel apparently the internet went down so we couldn’t check in until 30 min after we got there. Our first room had mold on the curtain (room 210) and we were given a second room( room 323) without issues. Unfortunately this room had a horrible smell I think in the carpet and the furniture where the fridge was smelled like urine. Our last night, we found two roaches. One in the bathroom and one on a wall by the front door. This was at 3-4am in the morning. We reported the roaches the same morning when checking out, all that was said from that was if we had reported it during the time we saw them. Overall I’m extremely upset at the quality of this place as the photos and reviews seemed ok. $400 for three nights with bad internet, two crappy rooms, pool was closed, and ok staff. I absolutely do not recommend this place.

    Stayed here 2 night's (Sep 26-27). Hotel is in a great location. Definitely needs a remodel, but it wasn't bad. Room was clean and the rate is really what attracted me. The staff was very nice. Breakfast was ok. Economy isn't great so for the rate, i wasn't displeased.

    Rundown and poorly maintained. Broken door lock to our first assigned room, the second assigned room, was holes in the walls, black mold, hair everywhere, poorly cleaned furniture and bathroom, no bathroom towels, no pullout sofa linens, when we pulled out sofa sleeper, stains all over mattress (as well as external sofa sleeper stains). Asked front desk for bathroom towels and they were still in dryer, next morning went to ask again and was handed 3 damp towels and was told thats all they had. Pool not open.

    Dee was great, sharing her personal dinerware with us because nothing was available after hours. The pool was closed by order of the health department. Shoes of a previous guest were left in the dresser. One towel was provided for two guests. Outside looked reasonable. Something had been ripped off the wall and the screws left sticking out. Ice machine was broken. Window was open when we arrived. Overall, you get what you pay for. It was cheap with all that implies.

    The room was ok but the sitting chair and foot stool was dirty and the room smells like mold. The carpet was stained with nail polish that has dried. I couldn't put anything in the fridge cause it wasn't clean. The best part was the bed and the hot water. The breakfast was subpar. I have had a better spread at a 1 star hotel/motel.

    This location needs a complete overhaul. I was so disappointed. Stained carpet and chairs, lumpy mattresses and loose floor tiles with significant water damage in the bathroom.     I have stayed at Country inn & suites more than a dozen times. Mostly in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Missouri, and Kentucky and this was by far the worst. It was disgusting. Never seen so much filt. The couch was brown, it's supposed to be red. No sheets on the pull out, covered in stains and no patting. It was so bad we didn't even stay for breakfast, we wanted out and didn't want to wait.

    Filthy carpet, elevator floor was dirty with unidentifiable “matter” in the corners. Room carpet was somewhat cleaner than h, stains Sam’s small hole in arm of bedroom chair, stains on the decorative cover on bed. Pulled the bedspread down and a live bedbug scurried across the sheet. The walkthrough took 90 seconds and we left the building. The desk clerk suited us that they would approve a refund with hotels.com s as soon as they asked for it. Then we spent precious daylight trying to find a number for hotels.com. Please provide a way to converse with a person!

    Really dated. The room wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be, as old as the property is it's pretty well cleaned and maintained throughout. All the amenities were closed but honestly I wasn't going to use them anyway so that's fine. Bed was lumpy as you expect in a hotel in this price range, if you sleep on top of the comforter and bring a blanket it really isn't even noticeable. There was a feeling of "there are people staying here that live and work in hotel rooms" but nothing in your face. Couple interactions I have with the staff were pleasant, we had a communication issue about rebooking a new reservation to extend the stay and the gentleman handled it wonderfully. At the end of the day it was my own error and not getting all the details when I did it. The staff was overall above average for any property of any price. This isn't a Marriott courtyard or a Hilton, but it is the cleanest and most quiet place within a mile or two that you can sleep. It's also the only place within that distance which doesn't make you feel like you're going to wake up to an episode of cops. If you're trying to stay in the area look at this hotel before the others within 1-2 miles.

    Other than an extremely comfortable bed, everything else rates barely a 1. And before you say “why not move to a different hotel”; it was college graduation weekend and rooms were very scarce and extremely overpriced. The property is filthy, unkempt, things broken everywhere, pool/jacuzzi and fitness center “out of order”, could not get a blanket for the pull out sofa (was told that they did not have an extra blanket anywhere on the property), outside littered with trash and over grown weeds, etc. we used to love this brand, but our view has been changed. Tried to reach the management company (Piney Creek Investments), and could not locate them. They have been removed from BBB.

    The condition of the property was poor. The inside was run down with nasty carpet in the lobby and on the steps and hallways. The furniture in the room was nicked, scratched and looked very worn. Most of the plugs didn't work. The overhead light in the bathroom didn't work. I was very disappointed in the quality of this property. I have stayed with this brand before, but will probably not consider it in the future due to the condition of this property.

    If I can leave zeros stars I would. I came there around 1 or 2 am I paid $154.00 for a room. When I got there apparently I had booked the room for the following day. So the staff member said he would just put me in a room and when I wake up just come down and check in with the manager next day. I went to room 317 the room was filthy I opened the door. The covers were messed up as if someone had just got out the bed so I went down stairs and explain this to the employee so he gave me another room. 213 I walked up the stairs he was already in the room he had used his master key to get in without my permission. So I told him no I was not going to stay he told me to cancel through Experian. I called the hotel the next day he said his manager approve me to get my refund I asked to speak with a manager they gave me an email so I emailed her I never received a message back. I called the hotel again he answered the phone the same man from the night before and said why I keep asking questions if I already got the answer I wanted he hung up in my face and I called about 8 more times he hung up every time so I called off of another number they waited to answered and once he answered again I told him that I would be calling the police getting the police involve he proceeded to say what is the police going to do. Experian got in touched with them and now they’re saying they will not refund my room even though I never stayed in the hotel one night

    I paid about $60-70 more per night for this hotel compared to similar hotels in the area because of the indoor pool and hot tub. We get there to check-in and the pool area was closed. I think hotels should have to let customers know in advance if something like this happens. Very disappointed.

    The staff were good! Daniel was very helpful when checking me in. The young lady who was next to him helping other guests check in was dealing with a very disgruntled customer; however she seemed to be handling the situation well. I was really taken back when I opened the door to my room. There were carpet stains everywhere, even stains on the lamp shades. The front TV didn’t work and one of the windows (on the 4th floor mind you) WAS OPEN with a hole in the screen, which struck me as odd. I personally couldn’t sleep knowing all of this. So I ended my trip a little early and left about 7 hours before checkout. This place could use some major TLC and an overall makeover from floor to ceiling. Especially considering the amount of money they charge per night!! I will be requesting a refund.

    This Hotel was disgusting and unorganized to say the least. It smelled absolutely horrible. I was given the keys to a room that had not been cleaned at all….dirty towels and linen were on the floor. The next room provided smelled absolutely horrible. The next day guest services came knocking on my door to see who was occupying a room that was marked as clean!! I will NEVER stay at this hotel again!! Absolutely horrible!!

    I don't even know where to start this review. I never leave reviews. This one deserves the biggest warning. I am very easy going, but I checked into this hotel and back out immediately after finding bugs in the bathroom, feces on the toilet paper, bodily fluids on the walls, shredded up bed skirting, and an absolutely filthy floor in TWO rooms. The front desk clerk, Daniel, was extremely kind and understanding, agreeing that the room conditions were not acceptable, matter of fact he said they were ridiculous. Also ironic that a sign on the front desk says and I quote, "commitment to clean" and it mentions a memorable experience. I promise you it was memorable in the WORST way. The front desk clerk processed the refund on the hotel end, but hotels.com has STILL not refunded me. Beyond disappointing since I ALWAYS book on hotels.com and am very loyal to hotels.com. DO NOT STAY HERE!

    This is the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my LIFE. We heard a gun shot outside while we were unloading our car. The room looked like someone had been killed in there. It was horrible. It was so bad, we went across the street to buy new sheets, an air mattress and blankets. The air mattress was to make up for the pull out sofa not being in ANY condition to be slept on. Idk what rooms these people with good reviews are staying in, but this was AWFUL. I will never again stay here. I hope you read this and take my advice to stay somewhere else!!

    The pool & hot tub were both closed and not working even though I called before booking to confirm they were both operational. The bathroom ceiling in our room was completely covered in black mold where the above room apparently was leaking. Several towels in the bathroom were folded and stacked, but were dirty and obvious previously use and never washed. There was vomit from someone at the main entrance that was there when we checked in and still there the next morning when we left. Overall bad experience. Would not recommend

    The pool and exercise were shut down. There was a broken down car in the lot. The fire alarm went off at 3:20am and a fellow guest said it was the second time in two days. The pancake machine was broken down. I have had much better experiences at Country Inn facilities in the past.

    My stay was very pleasant. The hotel says no smoking on premises but my room smelled like cigarette smoke. My room was king size, but yet I only had 3 of the most horrible pillows for 2 people. This use to be a nice place but it is as if management doesn't care. They offer inside pool it was closed, they offer business meeting room, it was closed, they even offer laundry room, it was closed. I will not stay here again.

Changed rooms, same thing, but no mirror, AGAIN, seeds and chip crumbs between the mattress, old cookie behind nightstand, Workers lingering in the hallways. Found another place. Told mgr I can’t stay here it’s too dirty and told him what I saw. He wore a Bears hat and said I needed to write a bad review to get a refund. There are other places nearby that are clean.

    Hot tub was not working. Unfortunately it was one of the main reasons I chose that hotel. Garbage can was filled in the bathroom with who knows what. Coffee maker still had old coffee grounds in it. Blow dryer was missing half of it s protective casing. Heating vent was off the wall leaving a big hole in which it appeared black mold was surrounding it. I left a very special shirt behind in a drawer and was told that it was not ever found. I know for sure that I left it in the drawer which means there is also some dishonesty that has occurred. When wanting to check out a day early due to the fact that the hot tub was not working and that being one of the main reasons I chose this hotel I was told that the hotel could not reimburse my money. I had to go through Expedia. Which seems to be the only way to book hotels nowadays is going through the third party. Fortunately, I was able to get refunded for the day that the hotel charged me for before even staying however the inconvenience of having to deal with a third party made it a little bit more stressful.

    2nd room.was better but carpet was nasty for a Country Inn. At least it uses to be. Staff was.ok. The room on Expedia for 100.00 I guess you get what you pay for.
