The breakfast was really good! But sometimes I think they were short staff at night, the didn’t have towels! Sometimes the other guest were loud and weird sometimes.

Place not clean, trash everywhere, everything in the workout room was broken and did not work. we were there 3 days and didn’t have towels in the third day, a couple of the employees were acted like they didn’t want anyone to ask them questions or talk to them at all. sheets and pillow cases were dirty and i’m pretty sure the same sheets were used on our bed after we left and they just remade the bed

Las habitaciones muy limpias, aunque en la habitación de mi hermano, en el baño, la bañera no tenía cortina. Por otro lado, desde el primer día la llave de la habitación no abría. Al parecer era un problema con la batería de la cerradura de la puerta pero nunca la cambiaron, cada vez que teníamos que entrar a la habitación había que esperar por alguien que nos abriera. El desayuno estaba excelente todos los días.

We had a reservation for April 1 at the Comfrot Inn Ft. Jackson. I am a long time member of Choice Privilege and love this brand. Not this night. After a 12 hour travel day we just wanted to check in. Walking into the hotel it looked like it was closed for renovation. Forklift IN THE LOBBY and plastic covering all the furniture. NO EMPLOYEE anywhere. We rang the bell, walked the halls of the hotel looking for someone and waited for a half hour. During this time 4 other parties joined us waiting. NO EMPLOYEE for check in. I finally called Expedia who I had booked with and she callled and called the hotel for a good 20 minutes with no luck reaching anyone..and finally had to give up. I just wanted to cancel. We left…went elsewhere to stay.I had booked this as a cancellable fee…but by now we were beyond the cancel time and the hotel had already charged us. To add salt to wound…after another 2 chats with Expedia…they would not honor their obligations and refused to refund us the cost of the hotel rooms for the pm. I am done with both Choice and Expedia. Do NOT book here!

When I checked into my room I had mold in my shower and dirt still on the floors. My husband called Expedia to see if I could change hotels. They said they would have me move rooms first. I didn’t see the point in changing rooms. I figured my new room would be dirty too. There was a sticker on my mirror saying that they don’t clean unless you are there for a longer stay. For longer stays they would clean every three days. That never happened. After a week I asked for my room to be cleaned and it still wasn’t cleaned. Oh, and by the way, I was there for 2 weeks. Then one night I’m standing in my shower and there is no hot water. I walked up to the front desk and asked if we had hot water and they said no. It was out for 24 hours. I thought I should’ve been informed about this before I’m standing in my shower. Also, after the first week of my stay they started doing remodeling. It was a crazy experience.

Breakfast was very good. The room was clean and staff very nice.

Our room wasn't ready, which was purchased months in advance. They tried putting us in a room that didn't accommodate the qty of people we had. When they gave us a room the mini fridge didn't work. The shower water pressure was weak. Underneath the bed we found a condom wrapper. We couldn't have breakfast downstairs because of a leaky ceiling. And the entrance smelled like cigarettes.

Property was ok - nothing special - tired - breakfast was good - we slept fine.

Our room was supposed to be non smoking but smelled heavily of smoke. That is my main complaint. It was close enough to the National Park. Breakfast was fine.

No towels in the room. Was told by front desk they had no towels left in the hotel. Had to wait until next morning to get towels. Room itself was poorly laid out. The AC unit was filthy, and we found chicken bones when attempting to use the pull out couch. The property itself looked quite dated. And everything felt dirty when you touched it. I was actually amazed that the breakfast included was somewhat decent, after our room experience.

This hotel should NOT be available on Expedia. The back door doesn't even lock and the evening attendant told us that she is always chasing out people that don't belong in the hotel. The back parking lot is completely dark with homeless people hanging around. The entire hotel smells like cigarette smoke, the carpet is dirty and threadbare. The girl that checked us in announced our room number to several other guests and never even asked for our I.D. We didn't end up staying because of how terrible the conditions were. We left and drove another 1.5 hours north to find another hotel. DO NOT STAY HERE.

Rooms where dirty- our other party that came with us had to be move twice due to unclean room (floors werent swept, dirty clothes from the last person was left, theres blood stains all over, toilets clogged after 1 use, and the pool has been broken for at least 3 years- we stayed in 2024 and it wasnt working then either.) Our room did not have a top lock on it and we have a two year old that can open doors. And some of the other "guests" make it feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. Theres plenty of pictures.

The room had roaches

The front desk staff was super friendly, helpful, and understanding. However the hotel is almost uninhabitable. Many of the rooms the doors were broken. I tried three different t rooms. Once o got one the a/c unit was broken. They must be short staff cause rooms were not even clean. Because I prepaid I had to see it through which makes me second guess prepaying moving forward. I would have definitely went to a different hotel.

Cons: *Room was saturated with a pungent stale cigarette smell (gain febreeze was offered) *Large old blood stain on mattress and mattress cover. (Only the sheets were changed when they “re cleaned” the room *closet area clearly not swept out and there was someone’s paper drivers license and trash left *refrigerator leaked all over the floor and they didn’t have any towels to give to replace the ones we used to soak up the water *bathtub filthy with pubs and dirt which was the final straw and they came to “re clean” *upon arriving back from dinner we were informed they had just finished re cleaning but that the hot water was now out *so I couldn’t bathe my kids in cold water and it wasn’t back on until the next morning. The gas line wasn’t their fault, but the accumulation of events on issues made the situation that much worse. We ended up leaving the next day and asking for a full refund, which we got. The ladies at the front desk were nice and ultimately tried to be helpful. The pool was not in working order either.

Broken equipment scattered throughout the hotel, peeling paint, entire lobby reeks of pot, food and trash all over the hallways and stairwells, got no sleep both nights because of extremely loud guests going up and down the hallway that the staff finally did something about at 3 am on the second night. Absolutely worst hotel stay I’ve ever had anywhere. I’m pissed off that I actually paid them to stay in this garbage place for two nights.

Room was dirty. Night side table was sticky and some electrical outlets had no cover. Heating and cooling unit looked like to was bashed around in someone’s work shop with dirt and grease splattered. It was stained and the window coverings were also filthy dirty as if someone was smoking in the room. Beds were comfy and as described size wise. Tv was large and worked well. Shower drain was plugged so you were showering in your own dirty water. Took awhile to drain after getting out / it wasn’t very clean regardless. The area the hotel is in isn’t the greatest. If you were travelling with children I would look elsewhere if possible. I would avoid this hotel unless you get a great price and travelling alone for a quick night stay. Breakfast was the good and the receptionist upon check in was helpful.

The bathroom hadn't been cleaned. There was hair all over and a half used bar of soap still in the shower. There was liquid soap on the walls. The sink didn't drain. The floors in the room were sticky. And the whole building smelled like smoke.

The front desk check it was nice and friendly enough. The room was clean and updated. The Carpets and halls were very rough BUT they were also in the process of renovations, so hopefully that is on the to do, it needs very bad… The area is NOT the best but our stay was only for one NIGHT.

The location was misleading from the army base. I drove all night was tired from nyc to SC And ask the front desk if i could check in early at 12:15. I had a regular conversation no yelling and was grateful she said come back at 130. the last thing i ask her was will you be here at 130 or would she be at the desk. she said yes i then went and go sleep in my car to get woken up by SCPD as trespassing and my reservation has been revoke the young lady felt threatened that i ask would she be there. you can play back the videos and audio sending the cops on me and who knows how this could have been handled if the police officers was having a bad day. i went on the company reviews and it seems that establishment has more bad reviews than good. i had to book back 2 more hotels rooms at another location

Very friendly and helpful staff, but very sparsely staffed hotel. The hotel is also quite old and rundown and located in a rather rough part of the city. But the staff are all incredibly helpful and friendly.

No smoke detector in the room. There were bare wires in two locations in the room. The floor was not clean. Sausage and eggs served every day there could’ve been some homemade fries or bacon added for a little diversity.

The hotel is trashy. Turned the heat on and smoke alarm went off, water didnt get hot just luke warm, people running above our room all night, people with blunts in their mouth walking through the hotel lobby, groups of people behind the hotel randomly. Tv didnt work. Very noisy. Smells like straight weed.

The hotel location was falsely advertised as being by Ft Jackson main gate, it is not. Its about 10 miles from the post. The hotel is not worth the $189 i paid for a nights stay.

went to stay for three days and the staff was very kind and friendly. however the upkeep of the property was terrible i walked into my room and found stains on the sheets and someone took a. number THREE and left it in the toilet. we were given a new cleaner room but overall the hotel was como se dice…. mid

Got to the hotel around 6pm. Walked into a dirty lobby with one guest waiting. She told me she had been waiting over 5 minutes. She was calling out trying to alert someone she was there. After 5 more minutes I called the hotel and told someone that there were guests waiting to check in. She came right away from somewhere upstairs and was very friendly and accommodating. There was a sign up saying the hotel was being renovated. I got in the elevator which was filthy dirty and noticed a paper hanging crooked asking for a 10 star rating which was so far off the mark. I then stepped out of the elevator into an equally dirty hallway. I opened my door and expected that at least the room would be unaffected by the renovation. Instead I found a carpet that clearly hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks, a bed with crumpled pillows and sheets that made me question if the bed had even been changed or just made after the last guest left. The kicker came at 9:45pm when I used the bathroom only to find the toilet didn’t flush. It almost overflowed onto the floor before it just stayed filled. Gross. If I hadn’t prepaid I would have left immediately. I won’t make that mistake again.

Whoever did the remodel should be sued, lousy work. One door still had the upc label on the trim work.

Property is hard to find because it's on a back road that isn't listed on gps. It needs updating. It was fairly clean, but the beds were extremely hard, and the common areas were very hot. Staff said the air conditioner was out.

They were renovating the hotel which really needed it. But we were put in a room that was half competed. It looked pretty at first but it wasn’t cleaned properly from the last occupant. The new floors were already dirty looking. The toilet hadn’t changed to a new one and the tub was rusty around the edges.

This property was nice and clean and also convenient. The breakfast was ok and there was no hot water for our last 2 days as i che ked out early for not having it as the hot water heater had broke. They did give me a refund for checking out early and partial for not having hot water.

This property shows a lack of management. The managers need to spend more time inspecting rooms. Our first night, in the bathroom the ceiling was cracked, moldy, and falling down; the fridge didn’t work, and leg was broken off; the smoke detector chirped every 10 seconds; the gap between the floor and door that led to another room was so big we could see peoples feet as the walked in their room. This hotel could be nice but in it’s current condition and with the lack of management care, I would not stay there again.

You absolutely get what you pay for. We paid $100 for two queen size beds. Bathroom was absolutely dated/unkept and dirty. Furniture in main area was dirty and surfaces were not properly cleaned.

This place is soooo gross. Our room didn’t have a comforter, shower curtain, coffee maker, dirty non-swept floors, flickering light in bathroom, overall disgusting. We were put in a different room that wasn’t much better. For the price go somewhere else!!!

The front desk ladies were very kind and friendly. The beds, and mirrors were the only things clean. The floors were very dirty and the carpet was ragged and frayed. The bathroom and entry floor hadn’t been swept or mopped. The sink counter had mold around the seams. There was no shower curtain. The tub had several hairs and dirty shoe prints. There were pieces of hardware missing. The walls and cabinets were splattered and dirty. The microwave was unsafe to use. It was broken inside. We were late to get to our military graduate and weren’t able to get anything else. I don’t think I’ve ever spend so much money on a hotel and the room be so dirty and unkept. The area around the hotel did not seem safe. There was noise all night. The breakfast was nice and clean.

I should have heeded the warnings of the other reviews. It smelled like "natural herbs" as soon as i walked in. I know you can't control who your guests are but i think the hotel and area attracts a certain type. I felt like i was at a halfway house.

Building and room was very dirty. Service was ok, only one staff member seemed moody all other staff were very friendly. Not a terrible experience but probably won't choose this hotel during future trips due to the lack of cleanliness. I had photos to upload but it won't let me add them.

No hot water from the shower because it wasn't installed correctly, plenty hot from sink. Couldn't take showers for the gymnastics meet. Indoor pool was closed, which was main reason we chose this location.

Never will I book this hotel again! The hotel room was dirty upon arrival and the entire hotel smell horribly of marijuana. I had to ask for the shower curtain and towels as they were not provided in the room. I also had to buy air fresheners and cleaning products to make the room decent enough for my complete stay. Such a horrible experience with cleanliness and sanitation. The staff was polite and that was about the only good thing about it.

The patrons were noisy and slamming doors all night. There were people hanging around outside when I arrived liked around the dumpster at the neighboring restaurant. The bed sheet had a hole in it. The room floor and walls were dirty. The general maintenance of the room was poor. The room door was open when I went to it the first time and the toilet seat was up.

This is probably one of the worst hotels ive ever stayed at. It was not on base as the hotel said it was. The bathroom shower wouldn not drain properly and the toilet would only flush if you added water to the tank and the bathroom was just dirty and moldy the room had a horrible odor the ac only worked on fan mode and beds were stained..

It was extremely overpriced. You’re staying there because you’re close to the base, but I would stay further away and just drive to the base.

The staff doesn't know what's going on from one shift to the next. I had to fight to get the third night added back to my stay after they removed it without telling me. The tub in the room was dirty with soap scum. The bathrooms near the pools were clogged and dirty and when we told them about it they said they'd send someone, but no one came the whole time we were down at the pool over an hour. The third floor off the elevator felt like you entered a sauna and they were late with the breakfast start on our first morning. The eggs in a bag that were microwave heated were gummy and gross.

There was not on towel rack in the bathroom. Tub didn’t drain properly. Had to ask three times to get fresh towels each day. They are very under staffed so cleaning didn’t happen as it should. Garbage was not emptied daily as it should have been.

Staff was rude, roaches were in first room, spoke with manager about refund they said they couldn’t give refund because I booked through Expedia but they offered to transfer me and my great aunt to another room, we switched rooms, visited my mom came back to room went to sleep I woke up to use bathroom Sunday night and noticed roaches on wall and coming out of air conditioning unit I didn’t want to wake up my aunt in the middle of the night she is 80 years old and has dementia I spoke with one of the employees about the complaint of roaches and could I get a full refund I took pictures and videos of the roaches I had to leave to take my aunt to her doctors appointment but asked to speak to a manager before I left employee stated her manager was running later I left then returned and employee stated that manager refunded me but I will have to wait on Expedia since I booked through a third party before I left I left my name and number with employee at the front desk the manger didn’t even bother to contact to let me know I would not ever recommend this hotel for a good stay I was highly disappointed and will never return

Very nice property

The new fixtures in the bathroom and wallpaper behind the beds only made the room look worse instead of better. A good vacuum on the carpet and a scrub on the tiles might’ve helped. The beds were very comfortable but the pillows were small and overstuffed. I stay in hotels quite often and this is probably one of the worst I’ve been in at this price point. Next time I stop in Columbia, I’ll probably just stay at the LaQuinta next door.

The room is filthy i checked in from out of state around 5 to change clothes & go to an event. Before i left around 540 i told the clerk the room was filthy & would be back but she could have another room ready for me when i get back. I appreciate her but all the rooms was filthy i have plenty of pics to show from the time i checked in. Really want a refund

They where very nice and understanding

What a mistake to stay here!! While we understand it is under construction, the rooms were very musty. No room service !! When we called the front desk, we were told we had to request it, needless to say the tiny supplies in the bathroom are a one day use for 2 adults. What a waste of money with poor customer service.

The bathroom had black curly hair in the sink, the floor was sticky. The front desk clerks are left alone at night which seems inconsiderate for the employees and makes fast and efficient care/customer service unlikely. The remote didn’t go with my TV and the poor front desk clerk had to go back and forth 3 times to get one that worked.

We didn’t check in. The front desk manager was extremely nice and let us cancel our reservation. The indoor pool area had no working air conditioning and it was 100 degrees outside. The bathrooms in that area didn’t work and the hallways was nasty.

Very quiet…close to the airport and base. Bed was super comfy. Some of the lights and plugs didn’t work.

smelled like the room was regularly cleaned, comfortable bed, simple but plentiful supplies (ice, coffee, paper goods, etc.), water pressure low (making shower take longer than I wanted it to). The surroundings: quiet, a little ugly and uninteresting, a few restaurants, easy access to highway. I would definitely recommend this place as a convenient, safe, pleasant stop on a journey for a reasonable price.

Amazing stay!

The room itself was nice but the bathroom wasn’t clean, especially the bathtub. Some of the guests seems questionable and there is a strong smell of marijuana in the hall. A lot of men in the hotel as well, and as a woman traveling with children, it feels odd to have not encountered another woman or children in the halls. The neighborhood itself is sketchy with many homeless people and drug users roaming the streets. We are just spending one night on our commute north so it was suitable, but would not choose to stay here again.

Rooms were a little worn but I was in a doggie room! Who would put new chairs, not me!

The rooms were older and the furniture definitely showed its age. However i was a mom traveling alone with 4 kids and i felt safe and the staff was extremely friendly. The breakfast was good, great variety and was well stocked.

Location wise, it was good but everything around it was run down. Didnt really feel safe parking my car outside as there a couple businesses around it that was shut down. Rooms were dirty and you could hear everyone who walked passed the door. Staff were nice and knowledgeable.

Our commode was broken. Wouldn’t flush properly. It was the weekend and service guy was not there. The were very nice and offered us a new room if we wanted it.

Bathroom light flickers, outlet cover cracked open and missing a large chunk, shower curtain rod curved like a "U" so the curtain cannot close, tub drain backs up while showering, no bathroom exhaust fan, overall not very clean. At least the water pressure was decent and the water was hot?

The front desk agent was SUPER rude and disrespect. She even called her manager Ashley and talked about how she wasn't going to honor my rsvp and if I wanted to check in I could call the owner to do it cause she wasn't.

Didn’t like the smell in the carpets, bathroom.

Not enough parking spots

The rooms were a little bigger and the breakfast had good options

The room had trash from a previous stay, bath tub had hair in it & commode was not sanitary!

The hotel is under renovations, so it’s under the lobby and some areas not clean but our bathroom needed some bleach and a scrubby. The rest of the room was clean and smelled good. The staff was amazing and very pleasant.

It’s obviously one of the older motels. Some of the things were dated or looked in need of freshening up. Wasn’t a problem. That’s why I gave it four stars. The staff was amazing. All three that I encountered. They were the friendliest I’ve seen in ages. They were efficient and helpful. They are worth five stars.

The first thing I would say is STAFF interaction makes a big difference. The Ladies @the front were wonderful and the location was nice.

The front desk lady offered to let us come back and sleep because we got in so late. I was very appreciative of the offer and may have taken her up on it if we hadn’t needed to head out early. Very friendly staff, unfortunately the facility was a bit rundown.

I booked the hotel because it wad close to base and had a pool. It was not listed anywhere that the pool and gym were closed to patrons. That was very disappointing. The hotel was diety thought bedding and bathroom were clean. The staff was amazing though.
