Good Stay

The stay was comfortable but the supplies for the room were not adequate, had to pick up soap, not delivered. Breakfast was nice but the staff was not friendly at all, especially the receptionist how checked me in, and the staff in the kitchen area was rude and disrespectful.

The room was clean and spacious. Very close to the hospital where my father was having surgery

NO NOT BOOK HERE!!!!!! I paid for a room and the guy at the front desk would not give me my room key . Even after I showed my ID , I never stayed there and was charged .and they are refusing my money . Horrible customer service . They do not like African Americans. I’m still trying to get my money back and can’t, I’m not from the area and just wanted a hotel for the night. Again DO NOT BOOK HERE !!!

.from the moment I appriach the front desk it was a bad expiry to say the list the unwillingness of the employees to help resolve our problem wals terrible and he was rude and unwelcome the hotel was dark an d did not look clean the parking lot was filled with mud and construction machine. They treat at us badly and we left they refuse to reinvest us for the room. The stole the money

The wifi signal kept dropping. We could not watch TV. Not good at all.. The complementary breakfast not that good.

When we arrived, the toilet continued to run. We called the front desk and a maintenance man came immediately, Within minutes he had taken care of the problem that did not return - very prompt.

Not my favorite hotel. Old and dated. I always select pay at property and they charged my card before we checked in. I won’t stay here again.

Not particularly enthused with this Comfort Inn. It did not meet up to the other Comfort Inn’s we have stayed at. The room’s bathroom fan only made noise and the toilet seat needed tightening. The brunch was so so. No fruit left. When I asked if they had any bananas, I was told no. We were there for breakfast a good hour before they stopped serving. I would not recommend this Comfort Inn.

The whole building smells terrible. Smells like many years of constant indoor smoking and strong food odors. The bed had stains on the sheets. There was a long black hair in my bed (not mine) Overall a very gross property.

Night clerk was rude and slow. The carpet in room was sticky.

Toilet broken phone broken rude front desk staff didn’t want to come fix it. Once they tried it was broken again after one flush.

Either Hotels.com Messed up or the Property management messed up. I tried to make a reservation to Comfort Inn. I received an Itinerary number. I called the Hotel a day or so later to verify and they did not have my reservation. So I booked another Hotel where my business partner had booked. Then I get a charge on my card for the room that was never booked.

Room was clesn but no cups, breakfast limited but fresh, coffee very weak.

Really enjoyed our stay!

Went back to hotel they moved room and issue resolved. Hotel itself is ok bed comfortable room is large etc breakfast selection ok

I like that they had breakfast down stairs. I also like how they were kind enough to let. us eat our dinner down stairs in the lobby. Lastly I like how it was an easy check in and check out process. The rooms was not clean. I had food still in my room left over from the other guest before me. the bathroom was not clean at all. Lastly the mini fridge was rusted and the window curtain has mold in it algo with the widow being broke and not clean nor did it look safe.

The morning staff was so welcoming and willing to help. I didn’t like the fact that the towels, beds, walls, and tub were all dirty. There people in the middle of the night so drunk they tried our door and went into the hallway and seen a bug running across the floor.

Broken furniture, used wash cloth left in the room, broken toilet, extremely run down room and other furniture, extremely noisy at 2:30 AM, limited parking after dark, someone had a car alarm go off 11 times in 20 minutes, strong pot smell in the elevator and hallways. Staff was kind. Checked out after one night and canceled the rest of the stay.

The hotel needs to be tot Ed down and rebuilt. It you are okay with filth than book here The hotel is 50 years old and needs to be renovated or torn down. If it is the last hotel Stay but if not don’t book here.

The bathroom was gross, but the bed was clean. The front staff was not friendly at all. I had a creepy man come up to me in the parking lot when it was really late and made me very uncomfortable, and then he was roaming the hall by my door.

Staff was very accommodating. Understood my troubles at the airport and were extremely accommodating.

Our room was clean and very pleasant. The employees were very helpful. Due to my husband's healthy we needed a ground floor and they came out and loaded our luggage on the luggage cart and unloaded for us. Even adjusted the office chair. It was a very pleasant experience.

I was told 2 completely different check in ages when i booked and when i checked in the refused to let us check in with a baby and then are refusing my refund

We were just passing thru on way back from FL. Front staff person was very nice and accommodating. Same with the breakfast person. Breakfast was good. Building is not new. Area of town was a bit of an issue but then we are in our mid 70's and most cities seem to have just become crass and dirty. Wouldn't stay there for fun and games but for passing thru or an event it works.

This hotel needs a serious update

A somewhat dated property, but clean and welcoming to me traveling with my dog. Nearby grassy area with dog bags was a nice touch.

The hotel looked nothing like the picture, the area is unsafe, rooms smelled horrible, and when the AC turned on it smelled worse. The shower was rusted and the tub plug was broken and rusty. The bedding had multiple stains.

Breakfast Everything .The woman at the desk try to accommodate us another room since they weren’t supposably able to give us a refund which was a little better but we left a day early due to rooms being absolutely disgusting between hair in the tubs and sinks blood and spit dripping down walls urine in toilets mattress were from god knows when with springs poking through

It would have been nice to have other meat options rather than pork, but that is the case for most hotels. So, I just skipped the meat. There was a member of hotel staff that emerged to grab breakfast and then disappeared into the public bathroom in front of the elevators. Even if it was not the case, it appeared that she was not working.

Breakfast was nice. Staff were pleasant. Pet friendly. Room was dirty and a stench of mold/mildew. Everything felt damp. Tried to open window for fresh air but of course it wouldn't open. Refrigerator in room had something growing in it. I wouldn't take a shower due to uncleanliness and brushed my teeth with bottled water.

First off tv remote didn’t work not to big of a deal, then we found cigarette butts on the floor below the bed. The beds were advertised as queens but two people could barely fit in a bed. The shower walls were peeling and black mold was visible.

Though the desk attendant volunteered to spray I went out and got Glade air freshener. And the Pool was not open and looked like it hadn’t been in a while. Looking out of my window the backside of the property was overgrown- no landscaping. Small sitting area out front had torn/ ripped mesh in the seats. Not your typical Comfort Inn

They were out of towels and when asked about when they would get more the overnight clerk laughed and said when the women come in and wash some. Keys didn’t work on first room so had to switch rooms. Then the phone didn’t work to call operator in new room. The bed was so hard it made my back hurt. I will not be using this location again.

Horrible experience! There were lots of roaches, water stain on the ceiling, room smelled moldy, stained tub, dirty stains on the seal on the refrigerator, room door handle, lamps, étc. The 1st floor was for overnight local residents, 2nd fl was for construction workers working in the area, 3rd fl is used for customers staying 3 days or more. breakfast menu was fine. orange juice and apple juice was supplied and breakfast food was delicious. the pm person who i checked in was ok. the am person i checked out with was ok as well. wasnt bad wasnt the greatest just in the middle. the room was smelly . the toilet seat was not properly clean with dirt buildup for months. worms was coming out the bathroom floor. the breakfast look good but im not sure if it was my breakfast or the food i had the night before but my stomach didn't appreciate it. overall its a decent hotel i wasn't expecting 5 star quality they deliver 3 star staff and cleaning

I previously reserved my room, but did not check in until later that night. Literally, upon opening the door and turning on the lights we were greeted by a few roaches in the sink. My spouse went to use the restroom and pulled back the curtain to the shower and once again, we were greeted by not one, two, or three, but four roaches. We turned right around and requested a refund. Thankfully we was able to book another room considering the time of night it was. Was very unhappy with the Comfort Inn.

We entered the building and we were unable to stay, as it smelled of smoke, the condition was less than acceptable, and there were people who appeared to be long term tenants spending time in the hallways with doors open, music playing and people vaping. The photos depicted on Expedia certainly did not show the current conditions. Did not feel safe there.

There was mold on ceiling of bathroom. Bathroom door did not close properly. Elevator had a step that would make you trip because there was no warning saying step up. Me personally I didn’t feel it was worth $200 a night

My day was fine no real complaints. I will say that upon check-in. I wish that the front desk person would’ve told me that my room was a handicap room and upon checking into the room there were structural damage in the room there was cracked plaster on the ceilings and walls, and all the towels and washcloths were stained. The continental breakfast was very good. The hostess was very nice and accommodating. This is my go to place when visiting family, but I will going forward bring my own washcloths and towels.

The hotel is located in an area where people hangout and try to get you to buy stuff from them. The rooms are ran down and had roaches and black mold in the bathroom. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

Went to open the fridge and the whole thing came out the cubby it was in. Sat down in the desk chair, and almost fell out because the wheel wasn’t attached at all. Went to use the bathroom and sounded like the fan was about to take off like an airplane. Shower? The knob just spun. Was like playing jenga to figure out how to turn it on. Decent water pressure tho. Sink drain wasn’t attached so that was fun too when we went to wash our hands later. Bed was nice. Pillows were comfy. Went to do a midnight pee. Roaches. So paranoid after that. Got some ice. Nice machine but nearly got high walking down the hall. Overall - I’d probably spend the money and find something nicer.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Sadly, that’s the only nice thing that can be said. The rooms were terrible- roaches crawling on the walls and counter tops, towel rack holders falling off the wall, and the fire alarm intermittently going off due to needing new batteries. Would not stay here again.

We came up for an event! Check in dropped our things off and left came back to the room at 100 am. Then the maid service was banging on my door to check out at 845. I thought check out wasn’t til 11. We jumped up and left very disappointed in our stay.

Got to the exit of the hotel and should had just got back on the highway, not the best area, not the best place for staying. Hotel had construction going on outside, dingy lobby and room. Nothing like described on HOTEL.COM pictures on website are from when they first opened. Horrific room, the view was of dirty grounds and housing complex.

I overall give this a 4 out of 5. First the good - the room was clean and free of bugs. The bed was comfortable. TV and fridge worked fine. Etc. The area it was in was decent. Not glamorous, but not the ghetto either. There are two negatives about the hotel that I have to comment on. 1) The vibe. I cannot really speak for the person working at checkout on September 8th as I was only at the desk for about 30 seconds, but she seemed ok. However, when I checked in on Friday, September 6th in the late afternoon (don't recall the exact time, between 3 and 5 pm), there was a male working at the desk, and his tone, attitude, etc, gave the impression that he really didn't want to be there. When you are working a customer-facing job, it's not good when you give the appearance that you don't want to be there. He didn't say anything obnoxious. He wasn't aggressive. But he did nothing extra, like when I check into most hotels, they will say where your room is, like take the elevator to the second floor and go to your right. He didn't do that. And again, just the tone and demeanor gave the appearance that he had no real interest in being there. 2) The room gave the appearance that the owner is cheap and having house-keeping unplug everything. The nightstand lamp, the clock, and the desk lamp were all unplugged. Really? You're going to worry about the electric bill based on a digital clock and lamp that is turned off? Clearly they won't leave the light on for you!

Adequate for what we needed - a place to keep our stuff and get some decent sleep. Place needs a lot of maintenance. Breakfast is acceptable. Desk clerks were very accommodating.

We were comfortable with our room. The hotel needs some upgrade. The bathroom needs some repairs and replace the shower curtains. Good breakfast. Parking lot was being repaired so parking was tight for a couple of days. Easy access from freeway. Good stores and restaurants nearby.

Friendly staff, affordable in walking distance of food

Good stay, reasonable price. Mattresses could be better, but would repeat.

Staff not friendly. At check in there was no welcome or may I help you and no smile. The young man kept looking at me expecting for me to guess want he needed. He didn’t say a word. Not about any of the amenities of the hotel like breakfast, pool & password to WiFi. The room was ok.

Great value choice of hotels near interstate and no road noise

The room smelled musty with patched walls and stained carpet. We would have made-do but when a roach came out to investigate our stuff on top of the table that was it! The lady at the front desk was very nice both when we checked in and when we left. She couldn’t give a refund because I booked with Expedia (Expedia later credited me).

Unfortunately pool was closed during the time.

Comfort Inn was super nice. Breakfast every morning. Staff was very professional and very friendly . Clean room . Comfort Inn is also pet friendly. My Beagle was happy to be with us on our trip. Overall will book another night in the future.

Perfect for an overnight stay not multiple stay. Also saw a roach on the wall. This Hotel has a lot of potential and it needs some TLC! So outdated

I did rate as dirty. Let me clarify not dirty but carpet needs replacing facility wide. I do want to thank the front desk staff for the late check-out.

I just needed a room for the night to get some rest. Prevention that was very nice and polite. The hotel foyer is very clean and set up for breakfast for the next day. The overall appearance on the inside otherwise was very outdated and carpet smelled of just being old and worn out. My room was nice and clean. The pillows on my bed were very soft which I do not like. The breakfast was very good impressive with biscuits and gravy scrambled eggs and sausage and you can make your own waffles. If I came back through it's a possibility that I would stay there again.

They had roaches

Located near a hospital, sirens all night. A roach crawled through my feet in the bathroom!

There was trash all over the hotel grounds, beer bottles, cigarettes, even a pair of panties!

there was mold in the bathroom where a drywall had gotten wet many times-the area was black and unsightly. The breakfast was cold and not well overseen. As the syrup and some other items were empty and no one to ask about them.

We didn’t have enough rags and towel and the room had baby roaches coming out on the table and on the tv stand

Accomodations are basic. Room generally clean, but it's an older place so carpet has many stains and lights / outlets need to be updated so that not everything is on a hot switch; especially next to the bed.

Pictures did not match the reality of this hotel. First of all, the hotel is right in the middle of 3 highway intersection so... it's very noicy and you won't get any rest. The floors are so old, I heard every step of the person staying on the room on top of my room. The furniture is really old and the dheets were dtained. The hallways are so old and gross looking. The only positive side of this hotel is that the breakfast is included, but the food wasn't that good either. Don't waste your money here.

After a long, stop-and-go drive, this was a welcome reprieve. We had a nice meal at the burger joint across the street, while waiting for our room, because we were early. Ironically, we ended up here by a fortunate mistake, because of confusion with St. Andrews, Charleston. Luckily, we missed the severe flooding there.

My stay was wonderful. Bed comfortable, quiet, and service was awesome! So good I'm staying another night. I finally got me some really good and must needed rest.

The pool was closed and only outdoor. I didn't recieve a check out Statement. The staff was very kind and friendly

The beds are small. The area around is ugly, I felt insecure, but we arrived in the evening, maybe it's just dark (I hope so).

Roaches infested in my room

Front desk service was great. Breakfast was sparse yet they still had a full 30 minutes until closing it but never refilled any of the 4 warmers of hot foods which were empty or barely enough for one person. The beds were comfortable but very soft; not for stomach sleepers or someone with a bad back or other issues.

Fire Alarm went off at 12:02 a.m.. Bugs coming from the alarm. We panicked, called front desk because it seemed we were the only one with the alarm sounding, only to find out the phone did not work. We immediately thought there was a fire or something. We had a pet, and we were very anxious. We ended up leaving after getting no where with the front desk. Good by Comfort Inn.

Great value. While traveling needed a place to stay. Though it showed a little wear and tear it was repaired and kept up nicely. Staff was very nice and it came with a nice breakfast. 8 miles from the highway so close, clean and quiet. The price was great. Its not the Ritz but an excellent value. I will stay again next time I pass thru.

Start with the stained carpets and musty-dingy odors in the room. The towels are thread-bare and stained. I woke to discover small roaches in the sink and ants around the bathroom. This hotel is in desperate need of renovation.

As we pulled into the parking lot, the first thing we saw was the outdoor pool. It was green, the patio furniture was broken and it looked like it should be condemned. We were concerned about the safety/security of the area and limited staff at the hotel. We left and did not spend the night. We requested a refund for our 3 night reservation. So far we have received credit for 2 nights.

Great customer service, hope to be back again.

All I can say is the customer service was great from check-in - check-out.
