Staff was really nice, specially the lady at the desk(Lawanda-I believe was her name). She was very courteous to my children and I. Made us feel very comfortable. My children enjoyed the pool. I didn't like the smell in the room, it was very strong. Other than that everything was great.

The location for where I needed to be was good 1)the smell. I couldn't quite place it, it was like a mixture of old grease and mildew. It permeated the entire building from the moment you walked into the lobby all the way up through my room on the 5th floor 2)the bed and the pillows were so uncomfortable that I actually ended up with a migraine. They offered zero support. 3)I killed several bugs in the bathroom and there was hair in and around the shower. 4)the a/c worked poorly. Even when I switched the thermostat from heat to a/c, it never clicked on. The only thing keeping the room somewhat cool was the old fan unit installed in the window, and even then, it didn't cool anything, it just made the air not stagnant. I actually ended up sleeping without any blankets on and still woke up sweating. Given what I paid for this room, I would not stay here again. I would stay at the Quality Inn down the street for half the cost and get the same value.

They were very accommodating for traveling with pets! The beds were a little lumpy so it was hard to stay in one spot but it wasn’t enough to ruin my trip

There was mold in the shower tub, and the shower curtains was cut too short and there was water all over the floors flooding out the bathroom

I came here for my husbands basic training graduation and although the room being absolutely gorgeous, the room had roaches. The pool was freezing cold and it was dirty. The water was very murky. The rooms are gorgeous and staff was pleasant but the roaches and pool upkeep ruined the stay

The room had everything that I needed for my short stay. The hotel also offered other amenities if my stay was longer or should I book here again The ice maker in the freezer wasn't working, but it wasn't a big deal. My drinks were cold.

The front desk did provide some mew linens, but claimed was washing so it would be at least an hour, so we went without. The next morning, went to make coffee in kitchenette and was met by roach on table top

I didn’t like the fact that I posted for a double queen room I and I was given a king room and told because I booked late they only had that one left and that was a lie I booked months in advance and they were trying to take the payment way before I was suppose to check in at 11 am and I wasn’t suppose to check in at 4pm and I feel like they were not very helpful at all and still has not refunded my deposit….

Outlets didn’t work when I arrived, multiple bugs were found coming out of the walls, and the room smelled really strange.

The room was VERY poorly cleaned. The was only one small pot in the kitchen. MOST of all I woke up around 4am to get me a bottled water just to find ROACHES crawling on the counters. I was able to get a small clip, 2 of them got away before I could record them. I would really like a refund, that was the worse hotel stay I have had.

This was a GREAT CHOICE for us. The staff was EXCELLENT and the room was large enough for us three guys on our way to FL. We will come again next year.

I enjoyed my stay for the night with my dog. They’re very pet friendly and even gave him some treats when we checked in. There’s just no grassy areas for a dog to relieve themselves around the property. We did have to walk a bit out of the way at night, which was not exactly comfortable. But that’s the only complaint I had and it’s nothing the staff can really do about it. The staff were excellent and the room was clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. And the room was surprisingly spacious.

Room was super Smokey, couldn’t open the window to air out the room. Bathroom had hole in wall, from towel bar which was not there. Only had one regular towel, had to ask for towels. Pool had broken bar, the one that leads into the pool, had to be careful getting in and out.

Our stay was good. The room was small but had everything you would need. It was pretty quiet also. It has an ac unit that does make quite a bit of noise coming on and off but that was it.

Hotel was not too far from Congaree National Park so it was convenient. Bed was comfortable and kitchenette was adequate. Toilet tank frequently refilled and was noisy. No places nearby to get food. Close to busy roads. Good place for one or two nights.

The front desk staff was great. The room had a smell to it, there was a dirty diaper in the bathroom. The coat rack was not secured to the wall just 3 holes in the wall and when you put anything on the hooks it would just fall out of the wall. For a queen suite I expected a little better

Room smelled like 3 day old chinese food. The toilet is VERY low, the handsoap didn’t work in bathroom. The room was very dark. Hotel smells as if it is being over deodorized to cover up a musty smell. Overpriced Motel 6. Won’t go back.

I booked this hotel through Expedia. I paid for a one bedroom suite. When I arrived, I went to the room and it was only a studio room. When I went to the receptionist, she said the reservation that Expedia sent over to the hotel was for a studio, not a one bedroom and that I would have to call Expedia to get the situation rectified. After calling Expedia, they informed me that they indeed had a one bedroom reserved in their system for me. The problem was that Candlewood was booked to capacity and they did not have the room available that I purchased. I don't like liars. Just be honest.

The bedsheets were clean and many towels in the bathroom. Receptionist was very friendly and hospitable. However, there was an odor in the room from the garbage disposal which did not work and also an odor in the bathroom. Almost like the plumbing wasn't working correctly.

We arrived at the hotel in the evening at approximately 8pm. There was no one at the front desk for 15 minutes. The phone was ringing off the hook, and we even walked through the first floor trying to locate someone to check us in. Finally, someone entered from a side door and said hello and walked behind the counter. No apology for our wait, and she reeked of weed. After several minutes, we finally had our keys and proceeded to the room. When we entered the room, we immediately noticed a funky smell...like dirty gym socks. My wife went back downstairs to ask to be relocated to another room, but unsurprisingly, the girl was not back behind the desk again and we were too tired to wait for her. The following day, we asked to be moved to another room which they accommodated. That room's smell wasn't as offensive, but had a heavy smell of garlic. I guess that's the risk you take of staying in a suite that has a microwave and stovetop inside the room because people will cook all sorts of stuff in there. Had no issues with cleanliness. Housekeeping was also friendly. Nevertheless, we will look for alternative accommodations when we are in the area again.

Check in went smooth, I thought. The clerk didnt tell me that my tow guests in my second rented room needed to apply their credit card at check in or they could not do that at check out. I made the reservations and used my card to hold room but was not paying for both.Checkout was a disaster. Staff uninformed. Computers locked up. Didnt take off incidentals--took off taxes instead and had difficulty fixing problem. Took 27 minutes to check out and two guests had to write me checks for the money charged to my account. Blamed it on renting thru third Party--like Expedia. Unsat experience checking out with Expedia limitations.

Didnt take off incidentals--took off taxes instead and had difficulty fixing problem. Took 27 minutes to check out and two guests had to write me checks for the money charged to my account. Blamed it on renting thru third Party--like Expedia. Unsat experience checking out with Expedia limitations.

Very clean room, had all amenities that we needed. Front desk staff went overboard to be friendly and helpful. We will surely stay here again!

Didn’t stay there because the room had a smell so bad that even the ladies that checked us in could smell the smell before they opened the door. Then the new room they gave us the heat didn’t work so we left and did not stay. Went to a Marriott and stayed much better prices and very nice hotel

The room key didn’t work. Had to go the the help desk several times because key wouldn’t work. Had to go out and buy body wash because none was available in room. This is like the third disappointment I’ve had here

Staff on check-in were extremely helpful and friendly. Room is clean and has more amenities than expected. Full size fridge, microwave and dishwasher. Excellent for a night while en route to destination.

The rooms are nicely done. They only thing I can say is that it would be nice if they at least offered continental breakfast. But other than that, or stay was great.

The hotel was fine. What really ticked me off was at midnight the night manager opens the door to my room for no reason waking me up and scaring the hell out of me. When I told the morning shift about it, she was Oh I'm sorry and really nonchalant about it. I will be reporting this to the BBB within the next 48 hours if I don't receive a proper response.

I beds were amazing. Great night sleep by all. Upon check-in there were no luggage carts available to use. I was traveling with 3 grandchildren and ended up making 2 additional trips to my vehicle to get everything. I would suggest a better breakfast selection/area. Overall, it was a good experience.

Our stay was good until the second night I went to use the bathroom and there were roaches. Two of them. Not something you want to see in a hotel you’re staying at. Besides that good stay. Just gave me the creeps afterwards tho is they would crawl on me at night.

Disappointed, at arriving no air condition in room, no working refrigerator., we asked to take care of the issues no action, move to an different room middle of the night only to working lights. Bad experience.

Unfinished ac didnt work door lock was janky

The front door are had lots of trash out front and there wss no ice bucket nne light was out and no onfo regarding tv channels

Bathroom, bed and kitchen area was clean only issues was the night stand but overall I would most definitely recommend!!!

Toilet was broken. AC was broken. Staff was slow and rude. And after paying had to put $25 on card for any damages that may occur!! Then the card number was stolen and used in the area!! Bad all around. Do not recommend!!

NO HOT WATER AND WE WERE TOLD THERE WOULD NOT BE ANY DURING OUR STAY! The front desk could not get maintenance to answer their phone or voicemail. We checked out the next day and the FULL AMOUNT was still showing as pending in my credit card AFTER we checked out and left. We were told we weren’t charged the full amount -only for the night we stayed! WE WILL NOT STAY WITH THIS HOTEL AGAIN!

No room cleaning, we had no hot water for 2 of the 3 nights we stayed. The staff was friendly.
