There was ample parking, lobby was clean and bright. Staff were friendly. Room was clean. Rates were reasonable. Would stay here again!

Parking is limited we parked on the street it was frre after 7 on Friday.

My daughter and I stayed for her USC orientation and everyone was so welcoming and helpful. The room was very nice and the hotel allows for easy access to the University.

To honest, I loved everything, it was so clean the staff was so helpful and polite.

Old hotel needing renovation. They don't offer cleaning service unless you stay 1 week which is poor for $287 per night. You get a tiny soap bar and a few towels - we had 4 in a room so had to call to get more towels, toilet paper, soap, etc. Bar and restaurant on-site are great. Outdoor bar was packed but no outdoor bartender which is odd. Location is a 10.

Had a great experience, stayed for business so was in and out in one night.

Everything but the ac was great, the ladies at the front desk were super helpful and made the experience much better! ac would turn on be nice and cold then turn off and get superrrrr hot then just flip flop all night. There was no way to really keep the temp the same. Spent half the night sweating then half the night being a little cold, made it very hard to sleep

Every single staff member was exceptionally kind and personable. The room design was stylish, spacious, hip and elegant. Theres easy parking everywhere yet the neighborhood is still extremely walkable. My room had a great view, great shower, cool art.

Breakfast menu was reasonable.

Everyone was very nice and helpful, from the front desk, to the housekeeping and bartenders. We were there for our son’s graduation, and they had lots of nice extras to help parents and students on this big occasion. Great place! We will miss visiting there.

Overall we had a very nice stay. No carpet in rooms so we could hear the guests above us walking around. Also hum from large air vent in rooms is a bit annoying.

Staff was friendly. Room was clean and comfortable. Property was secure, and within walking distance to several points of interest (USC, restaurants, the capital, etc.). There is a gym onsite, but no pool. I would stay here again, and recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Great location for exploring downtown Columbia. We enjoyed the bar in the lobby and the outdoor patio space. Nice rooms, very comfy bed. Will definitely return in the future.

Easy to find and park. Room very quiet and clean. Beds amazing. We had a peach cobbler which sounded great but it was cold. So! The breakfast was made to order and it wasn’t that hot or tasty either. Overall beautiful hotel but food was not their thing. Plenty of walkable places to eat!

This hotel was a pleasure to stay at! It’s beautiful inside and so close to everything!

One of the most expensive places to stay in town. I do like the hotel, larger room size and bar area. That said, on our recent stay housekeeping repeatedly rapped on our door waking us up despite the Privacy sign hanging. After answering the door obviously woken up, they tried to come in again a half hour later when I was getting out of the shower. Raising this to the attention of the front desk when checking out at 11am they said that my room was already marked as vacated. I don't know how that happened. Instead of taking accountability for how my room was marked vacated the front desk made excuses for housekeeping. This was not a very relaxing experience

Excellent location to State offices and convention center. Numerous restaurants a short walk nearby. Hotel rooms well designed and roomy. Parking is a problem. No self-parking available on any day of my stay. However, valet service was quick and efficient.

Very attractive property. Good location for walking to restaurants. Great drinks in the restaurant. Room could have been cleaner. There was visible dirt on ottoman and rug. But aesthetically pleasing and roomy. We had a king suite. Unfortunately, “kids gone wild” ruined our stay and we had to leave early. There was one staff at the desk and all he could do was call the problematic room and not physically shut the chaos down. No one answered the phone of course. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday so we went to the hotel in hopes of relaxing and spending one on one time. Thanks to the “home alone” kids above us, that didn’t work out. I have to take away points because clearly the hotel was very understaffed that the kids won and we had to leave. We were looking forward to the breakfast and going to Soda City in the morning. Really disappointed. I won’t rate lower because the gentleman that checked us in really did his best. He couldn’t physically address the issue because the front desk would be unattended. The room was good overall, two tvs. We were disappointed that neither were smart tv’s and we didn’t have any premium channels. Price for parking was fair at $20.

We had a wonderful stay during our recent trip. The lobby was very welcoming upon arrival. There was live music, the staff was friendly and there were complimentary snacks and drinks in the bar. It was my first time in Columbia, SC. The hotel was charming, and the location was spot on. The room was clean and comfortable, the only downside was that my room did not have a safe to store personal items. The staff was friendly. In particular, Kaitlyn was professional, helpful, and pleasant to talk to. I would definitely return to this hotel without a doubt. Location was great because all the restaurants were within walking distance.

Our room was spacious and really comfortable, you can tell they put thought and care into the decor and room design. Front desk staff were very personable. Also a bonus, within walking distance of the capitol building and a lot of great restaurants.

Hotel very smart and clean. We appreciated the good value breakfast and the friendliness of all the staff. One small issue we had with our room was eventually resolved and a suitable gesture made as compensation. Would recommend this hotel for both its location and amenities.

Had a wonderful stay at the Cambria in Columbia! Hotel staff is great and rooms are big and cozy. Especially enjoyed the “tailgate” they put on in the lobby before the USC football game! I’ll be back!

This was our first time at Cambria. Loved that there were no carpets in the room, no tub to collect water while showering, water pressure was great, room was clean, the staff was friendly and accommodating. Conveniently located to Fort Jackson, the reason for our visit. There was a fee to park but otherwise this was a great value and pleasant stay.

I do not like valet parking, but to each there own. Everything else was very nice. There were so many restaurants and things to do in walking distance. Only a 16 minute walk if you are intown for concerts. I will stay here again for sure. Thank you for the great stay.

Because the rooms have hardwood floors, you can hear other people in adjacent rooms or rooms above you. Request top floor or bring a fan. The hotel should keep box fans on hand for guests. I am a light sleeper and could hear a child crying in the night in another room.

This property was an excellent find after our original planned hotel was not up to our liking. This area felt safe, easily walkable to nearby food options. The room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was attentive and friendly, providing an overall great experience on an impromptu booking. Would recommend to friends and others, and would stay here again if ever in the area.

The hotel is clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. It’s close to downtown, within walking distance. The only downside is that I could hear footsteps from the room above.

We had a long drive followed by really long meetings yesterday. We grabbed a quick glass of wine at the bar and just decided to eat-in and hit the hay early. We chatted with the bartender through our meal and went right to bed. Our room was freezing because the AC actually worked and we were out by 9:00. That only happens when all things feel calm, clean, and comfortable which the Cambria supplied. We will stay here again in coming months versus several other hotels in Columbia. Great value and consistent delivery on their objective.

This was by far the BEST hotel that I have ever stayed at. Coming from the State of Maryland I was unsure of how I would like the hotel! It well exceeded my expectations!! This will be where I stay whenever I come to South Carolina

The overall property is nice! I was informed I could do an early check in but my room wasn’t available until after check in time. Room size is nice but had a few issues with cleanliness.

manager came up at 9:30 to check thermostat and said she would come back and didn't so we went to bed. Nice property and staff, but waaay too many issues to warrant the expense of this hotel.

The hotel stay was very satisfying. It smelled really nice from the moment we stepped in and very friendly staff.

We stayed here while my son attended his student orientation at University of South Carolina. We had stayed here when we toured the college last year will be back again in August for move in. Very nice modern clean hotel with a friendly staff and very close to the university.

Overall hotel was nice our room didn’t look like it had been throughly cleaned more so looked as if someone just straightened up the bedding was very wrinkly as if someone had been laying on it, there was so many balls of hair on floor the toilet was not clean at all, and also maybe give options on shower pressure because having just that one setting for the shower sucks because it’s such a strong pressure doesn’t make showering enjoyable other than that great staff beautiful property!

Clean hip hotel in the middle of downtown Columbia, SC. The staff were very helpful and friendly. The rooms were spacious, clean, and modern. NO CARPET! The bar is nice and they have a patio. No rooftop or pool but it’s a nice rooftop hotel 5 minutes away (walkable). And there are several food options within walking distance.

My stay at the hotel was lovely and I have no complaints-including when my toilet clogged. Leo from housekeeping came up and was so professional, and friendly and solved the problem and gave me some tips on visiting Columbia S.C. since it was my first time there. Everyone was nice but Leo stood out.

The front desk staff were exceptional very kind and helpful. They even allowed us to check in early, which was a huge plus. Shout-ou to the valet team: while the gentleman who greeted us upon arrival seemed a bit preoccupied on his phone and did not acknowledge us, the valet who assisted us at checkout more than made up for it. He was warm, attentive, offered us cold bottled water, and sincerely wished us safe travels. That kind of hospitality goes a long way! Unfortunately, a severe storm rolled through during the night, and it knocked out several electrical components in our room, including the TV, some power outlets, and the AC. At 1:00 AM, we were offered a room change by the front desk staff, which was thoughtful, but not ideal considering how late it was and that we were checking out in a few hours. We decided to stay put and make the best of it. In response, the hotel refunded our parking fee (since our room was prepaid through a third party), which we appreciated. I also want to commend the morning team. The maintenance technician was already on his way to our room to address the issue even before I went to the front desk, which shows great internal communication and responsiveness.

The property was clean. We had issue with the running toilet. It’s started in the middle of the night so was not really an option to call someone to fix. Another issue was dinner. You had to order at the bar. First night of our stay we did not know about it. Saw empty dining room that we were told at check in was serving dinner starting at 5. Second night we stood at the bar just waiting for the menu. We were ignored for a while by 2 bar employees. After 10 minutes we left and went elsewhere to eat. Parking lot was also overcrowded and we had to leave the car with the valley ( still a nice option). Our breakfast experience was outstanding. The staff were super attentive.

We booked a night stay for a concert that we were going to. It was better than I expected. The room and hotel was in great shape. The bar is the best place to hangout and have great conversation with other guests.

Great property in the Vista and short drive to USC campus!!! Rooms are spacious and clean. Hotel is newer and is very quiet.

The hotel is clean and comfortable but the parking situation needs to be update to provide more parking spots
