Nothing really? Sorry, it’s old, wore out and I didn’t feel safe. Outdoors were left open all night and day.
- 5/5
Treat me so well everytime I love everything
- 1/5
Terrible
- 3/5
No breakfast, bathroom shower was clean properly room had an oder. Pillow case had dirt spots
- 5/5
Room was clean.
- 1/5
We drove up to hotel and it didn’t look like the picture. It looked like a run down 3rd world hotel. We refused to stay and drove on to a Hilton
- 5/5
They always friendly when I go I love everything
- 2/5
The room was itchy and had roaches
- 1/5
There was so much hair in the bed when i pulled the covers back 😩
- 5/5
Good price for the stay and location
- 5/5
Great low key place with a speedy check-in and friendly staff.
- 4/5
They don't serve breakfast here at all ever
- 3/5
Everything was great, but the false advertising of giving breathes was bad because they did not advise us that they were not giving breakfast. We had we ended up going out for breakfast and spending more money that we could that was not great. I give this hotel one star
- 5/5
Never had the breakfast yet I love that they so nice know me every time I come I love everything be so peaceful every time
- 5/5
Great
- 4/5
Staff was good… The condition of the room was decent for price. Spiderwebs was on both sides of AC unit. Even tho my room was non smoking.. i could still smell the weed smoke from another unit. It was in perfect proximity to the base!
- 3.5/5
It's dated, but it's a place to sleep.
- 3/5
It was nice staying up dear
- 5/5
Good check in
- 4/5
Wish I had known there was no breakfast offered of any sort, though they did say they could make me a cup of tea or coffee, otherwise it was closed. When I booked, I specifically chose because of the token breakfast offering
- 5/5
The microwave and regrigerator worked and the bathroom was fine too. Plenty of electrical outlets to charge phone and use my CPAP machine. Breakfast room was under construction, but the manager did make coffee so I could take some coffee for my road trip. There was no hair dryer, but called the front desk and they brought me one. They were very accomodating.
- 3/5
Place was average.
- 3/5
Bed and TV were newer. Wifi worked ok. I am tired of motels claiming to serve breakfast in their ads and then not having it.
- 1/5
That night my mother made the reservation and call to cancel. The hotel said no problem when you contact them. The reservation was to be made at American Inn on Charleston hwy.
- 4/5
Very clean room and staff very helpful as far as getting internet access.
- 5/5
Sink had cracks. Shower pan made noise when stepping on it.
- 3/5
Good value for a one night stay. Rooms are dimly lit, but there's plenty of lamps, so it's not a major problem. Tub was kind of gross. People just hung out in their cars or in the parking lot.
- 2/5
Bugs
- 4/5
Signage need be improved it was hard to locate at night
- 1/5
In my view it is a false advertising on the Hotels site. This was the first time we experienced this. My recommendation for the future travellers is to avoid booking this hotel. There are many other hotels availabe for the same cost of one night stay in this area that have all, that is advertised.
- 4/5
It didn't look like much from the road, the property is older, but the rooms were updated, clean and comfortable. Not fancy, but quiet, and a good stay in the Columbia area.
- 4/5
The facilities were clean and the location was near the expressway
- 4/5
Older building, but in ok shape. You could see the sun & feel the wind from the spaces around the door. Must check in from outside at a little window. Gave us a key that didn’t work so had to go after another one. No breakfast of any type even though the description says there is. You get what you paid for.
- 4/5
The place was great for what I needed. A place to sleep that was very cost efficient. The place was quiet, clean, Wifi worked great in the room and it is close to the highway. No one hanging around or making noise. Parking lot was sufficiently light without excess light bleeding into the room. Check in was efficient and pleasant. The only down side, No coffee. However the are two donut shops within a mile. Except for the lack of coffee, probability the best, "cost efficient" place to sleep I have encountered in the Columbia area.
- 4/5
It was very comfortable. My only concern was the few roaches that I shared my room with.
- 2/5
Easy access in and out. Plenty of parking and shopping close by.
- 3/5
Check in was very easy not many people at the hotel. Very convenient location and very quiet this hotel had a lot of renovations find on the property. Just a hotel that’s good for a quick stay I wouldn’t recommend staying very long very basic hotel
- 5/5
Excellent service very friendly
- 3/5
The building was not much to look at. Dark and rather ugly looking. Needs a new bright coat of paint. The room was decent, but there were dirt and cobwebs in the corners. Rooms need a thorough cleaning. The location is very convenient to interstate I-77. Many services are nearby.
- 5/5
Cleanest bed and pillows are super comfy Friendly staff
- 5/5
The room was clean and bug free. It's obvious the hotel has been renovated recently and it was done well. The beds were comfortable and I got a great night's sleep. The exterior of the building is well kept, safe and free of trash. The staff was kind and graciously assisted us with a smile when we had trouble with our keycard. Definitely the best affordable motel I've stayed at in the Columbia area.
- 4/5
The room was very clean, bed was comfortable, TV worked. There is a microwave and fridge, but no hairdryer. Overall very nice for a one night stay on our trip south.
- 5/5
Customer service was excellent. Friendly caring staff. Would recommend to all my family and friends. As a disabled veteran with PTSD and anxiety issues, it was so refreshing to have a great, outstanding staff who take pride in their establishment.
- 5/5
We always stay at this motel.
- 4/5
The beds were comfortable enough with clean linens, a mini fridge, microwave, TV and dresser was in the room. Normal old motel smell, but nothing offensive. The dresser wasn't in brand new shape, but not trashy looking. The heat (we stayed in Dec) heated up the room quickly. We would stay here again.
- 2/5
There was a roach on the wall when I walked in my room. Another dead one behind the nightstand. And another in my vehicle when I left in the morning. My nonsmoking room smelled like cigarette smoke.
- 1/5
One room smelled like septic the entire stay and the other smelled like pot the entire time
- 3/5
Liked the low price, free WiFi, the proximity to I-77, and the very quick check-in and check-out. The room was adequately furnished and the bathroom was acceptable.
- 4/5
2nd time stay ... Owner/Manager recognized me. Nice personal touch.
- 3/5
It was OK, rooms were clean. Water pressure was great
- 5/5
Very clean..and very nice and friendly staff..would definitely stay there again
- 3/5
Traffic noise so loud disrupted sleep. No one at front desk when we checked out
- 3/5
Upon check in,they didnt have us in the room requested but fixed that fast The guy at front desk was very nice and attentive. However,we were glad to get back home to our own bed and wont stay there again.
- 2/5
Nice but the room had spider webs and the door frame had a big bend in it and there was a pretty decent gap at the bottom of the door to the room. The door to the room didn’t seem like it was that secure
- 5/5
Great stay, great price! Only complaint we had was no “do not disturb” signs
- 4/5
No problems and quiet
- 3/5
Clear, good location, safe area.
- 2/5
We asked for a non smoking room. Perhaps is was but the old smoke smell was so strong I didn't sleep well. Door into the room was difficult to close. I would not stay again.
- 2/5
We have a short stay of 3 nights for my sister in law military graduation. It’s not what you see in the photos. Not very clean. It is kind of old. Needs improvement. The bathtub has a leaking. The breakfast consisted of muffins, toast, cereal, coffee and juice ( it was a nice for the price we paid). One of the nights when we arrive to the room it had cigarette smell. I didn’t have any kind of contact with the staff, just in the time of check in and check out. It is close to Fort Jackson and just in front of the VA Hospital.
- 3.5/5
The breakfast was only some cereals, cupcakes, orange juce and coffee.
- 1/5
Desk attendant told us "I know you booked a smoking room, but I moved you to a non-smoking" What in the world is the reason for selecting the room type you want to have it changed for no reason? After her snotty attitude turned us off we had her correct her change. The room had blood stains in it. The bathroom was filthy and due to the long day on the road to attend a military graduation we didn't feel like trying to find something better in town.
- 4/5
The hotel was good for a last minute trip. It's not the best looking one but it's definitely not the worst. It's cheap and was close to the army graduation so that's a plus.
- 2/5
When we first arrived we noticed the outside of the building was run down! There were lots of spiderwebs and cockroaches around the outside! We were however satisfied with how clean the room was! No bug activity and it was very clean! First night was great! Second night however I woke up to a giant cockroach on the ceiling above my bed! It grossed me out so bad! On top of that when I went to say something to one of the staff there was nobody to be found! I rang the bell and called the office but nothing! I wasn't going to miss my flight so after about 5 min of searching I gave up and left!! Needless to say I'm not happy about my stay!
- 4/5
clean and comfortable, nice amenities and super staff.
- 4/5
The hotel was very clean and the service was good. If you need to access the SE and the VA it is perfect and easy to get around. It was a little too close to freeway for my taste, but that is my only complaint. It was a good price, and you can't have everything!
- 3/5
peaceful
- 5/5
Great stay
- 1/5
It was horrible no room service thru out the whole stay !!
- 2/5
No wake up call. No one at checkout in am. No milk on breakfast bar.
- 1/5
This hotel should just be shut down. First walking in the room stunk so bad i didn't even want to go in. The bedding stunk to. There was a gap in the door that let the cold in. The cocking around the heater was all cracked and pulled away so much it was worthless. The cocking in the shower was cracked and pulled away. I had to go buy air freshener just to even stay there. I didn't have much choice since i already paid and most other places ( except the real expensive ones ) was full. The only positive things is it was real close to where i needed to be.
- 1/5
This was wrongly advertised hotel, in the description it stated a playground which it didn't, and separate seating area which was none existant! What became horrifying was finding the dirty underpants under the bed! Needless to say not clean or what we booked up for with toddler twins. Terrible place and false advertising.
- 1/5
We booked this hotel for 5 days but we didn't stay not even a day as I was checking in I notice small bus crawling in the lobby sits it was dirty when we got to the room the same small bugs where in the bed so we explained that to the receptionist they still charged us a day for our cancellation. But I see it unfair we couldn't stay it was dirty
- 2/5
The hotel is old and the room is kind small. There is no desk, and actually, there is no space for a desk. The breakfast is included but is "really simple". If you just need a simple place to stay for a night, I think it would be ok.
- 3/5

Roach motel, noisy
- 5/5
It was good we had no issues of course its not going to be top of the line room but for the price its clean, quiet, and overall comfortable. If you don't want to spend top dollar and you don't have a OCD with cleaning definitely recommend it. Not perfect but clean and affordable.
- 1/5
The toilet wiggled like it wasn't attached to the floor good. This is an older hotel that is in need of some much needed renovations.
- 3/5
The hotel was suitable. However due to the weather conditions there was no water for two days. I feel that we should have been discounted we were not even offered bottled water.
- 3/5
for the price this hotel is a good choice, and was close for me to get to Fort Jackson.
- 2/5
Not much The whole thing
- 1/5
The room had a bad odor. The walls were peeling, the sound on the TV was only static. The bathroom curtain looked older then me (32 years). I was not impressed. Even for a cheaper room it could have been cleaner and neater.
- 1/5
They had no power and water and when I tired to cancel they charged me. So I will never ever book here.
- 4/5
Great Hotel
- 4/5
The office staff was so welcoming and funny! The hotel is not the nicest but it's perfect for a few nights stay. No iron or blow dryer in the room but the front office has some if needed. I would stay there again.
- 2/5
Motel outdated and the room had a funky curry smell. But it was close to the Army base.
- 1/5
There was a bug in my bed. Horrible location.
- 1/5
Horrible!!!! The pictures of this hotel advertised were COMPLETELY DIFFERENT. This hotel sits next to the VA hospital and behind a Hardees. It looks beyond "rinky dink" outside. Semi-feel of a safe location; however there was a seedy element. DO NOT ALLOW THE PICS OF THIS HOTEL TO FOOL YOU. Overall rating: D+
- 1/5
It was horrible. They should close that place. It's dirty. Please don't go.
- 1/5
My kids was scared to sleep there. The toilet was loose lock on bathroom door, drain was bad.
- 1/5
Wasnt really satisfied. Even though I only used the room to bathe and sleep. But I was displeased to see roaches.
- 1/5
Could not understand people at desk, dead roach bugs in the drawers, no hair dryer, very poor acommadations for the money
- 2/5
It's OK for 1 night.
- 1.5/5
It had a bed and a shower It was not worth----
- 1/5
The manger was very rude and told me that i wasnt able to have any company to visit me in the room.
- 1/5
Terrible neighborhood, hotel needs Maintance. You do not feel very safe.
- 1/5
Clean but in need of repairs. It was in poor condition, some of the electrical outlets did not work.
- 1/5
the worst!!!!
- 3/5
All it needs is some tlc and it would probably be a good hotel
- 1.5/5
The location and surroundings were a bit scary. People were standing around outside as if making drug deals. Didn't feel safe at all.
- 1/5
Close to Fort Jackson Room not that clean.

The price for one night. It had plenty of hot water for showers. The towels were really hard.
- 4.5/5
The staff was very friendly, nice folks. I liked that it had WiFi,, the room was comfortable, and was okay for an overnight stay. I didn't realize the rooms were on the outside of the hotel, I was kind of concerned about safety at first, but it was well lit so I was OK.
