June 2026 - they are in the midst of a big remodel, so take that into account. Unfortunately, they are missing some of the easy stuff that should be done right away, like putting up signs of which way to go to find your room. The room was fine - nice and clean and good sized. But there was no dresser for storing our clothes during a 4-day stay. The kitchenette was great, with a decent sized fridge that could hold our pizza box. Breakfast is pretty good, but standard hotel fair with a waffle maker, bagels, eggs/sausage, cereal, oatmeal and fruit. We'll stay here again because the prices are reasonable and the place if fairly quiet.

Super clean and accommodating! Hot breakfast, complimentary hot drinks 24/7 and dinner included twice a week. Very comfortable! A home away from home. The halls were hot, muggy and not ventilated.

I could see the hotel was being renovated but we were there on the weekend so all was quiet. My son enjoyed the basketball court and I could see him from our room. We were very happy to have a very clean bathroom with a shower that was super clean. Plenty of towels and decent shower products. The room was extremely clean and updated. Happy to be able to watch the hockey playoff game in our room as well The breakfast choices were lovely and great coffee! The hotel was in great proximity of the soccer fields that we were playing at. The staff at breakfast could have been a little bit more forgiving. Yes, we were a little late getting down to breakfast but I needed syrup for my waffle and had to knock on the door for them to open the area so I could get some. It was awkward and you can tell they were annoyed. There is no reason for a breakfast to end at 10. Some travelers may want to sleep in a bit as we did.

Staff were courteous and a couple of them extra nice. Manager/supervisor made it a point of duty to come around during breakfast to find out how folks were doing. There was some renovation going on so a bit of noise/knocking. Windows were sometimes sealed of while the painting was being done. Effort appeared to be made by the hotel to make the renovation as less uncomfortable/disruptive as possible.

This is hotel is ok. The issue we had is the housekeeping started to clean when we had not checked out yet. We were eat breakfast and putting things in the car. We had items still in the room our coats)

Staff were polite, property was nice and room was clean. Elevator needed to be swept as it was being used by the contractors as they were doing some renovating. Breakfast was 'ok'. Seen alot of people bringing in pets, but never heard the first noise.

We stayed 4 nights, but at check in, they said they only clean one every four nights. So…I mentioned I never heard of this kind of room cleaning service. I’m use to daily room tidying. So they agreed to do it after 2 nights. Still a little strange. Besides that great staff.

Gym and laundry were fine, people were nice. Place was in construction and dirty w the doors open to the outside next to my door the whole time.i couldn’t sleep bc i could hear the next door guests snoring through the walls and then the upstairs guests was very loud at 5:15am. Everything was worn out walls chairs carpets. It felt aweful trying to get to my hotel room while passing construction workers in the building the entire time.

It was a great location. The fact that my mom and I could each have our own bedroom with our own private bathroom was such a treat.

The hotel is always clean, and the staff are always welcoming. Even under obvious updates or construction, things were still tidy. Breakfast was delicious. One of the knobs on the cook top doesn't work in room 213.

The staff was amazing! The breakfast was amazing! We saw a roach in room 231. The rooms were very clean however they looked like they needed to be upgraded. Outlets didn’t work. Poor paint job. Paint dropping through out. Great welcome/thank you bags . Unfortunately a dog pooped in the lobby and the owner did not pick it up. That is NOT a reflection on your establishment. I just can’t believe someone did that. Lol. I would recommend

The entire hotel had a horrible moldy cigarette smell. The elevator was broken. Staircase had extremely old carpet that was stained and smelled absolutely terrible. The first room I was put into had stains on the carpet.

Room was perfect with 2 bedrooms. Breakfast was convenient and had many options. The food was good. Having the little shop for snacks in the hotel was nice as well. Everything was kept clean and tidy. We had an issue finding parking one night and had to use the overflow lot across the street, but it was not a big deal. We had a great stay and will be back again next year.

I found someone trying to steal car wheels.

Did not rate excellent because 1st day drains did not work properly in tub or bath sink. Shower water was ankle deep. They however, fixed it quickly after we called. Too bad someone in housekeeping did not report it before we arrived so we would not have this problem. Also, room cleaning is not provided until 4th day Unless requested ( who would know to make this request until a day passed?

Staff was very nice! I booked a king bed & asked for a pull out couch to accommodate a second guest. Once I arrived they upgraded my room to a two bedroom suite! The suite was very spacious & clean. There were some noisy upstair neighbors during late hours, called the front desk and it was handled immediately.

This is a lovely hotel - clean, personable staff, great location. We were very pleased.

The perfume in the lobby is way too strong. The breakfast menu needs more variety but the fresh fruit was very welcome. The king bed room was quite small, especially for a long stay hotel. The stovetop didn’t work correctly but eventually we managed to scramble some eggs. The kitchen area is very small. The toaster does hold regular size bread. On the good side the thermostat worked properly and the unit was quiet after we switched to a middle room.

The breakfast has healthy options and variety. It's was quiet and nice set up with small kitchenette and room.

I come to this hotel when I travel before it was Sonesta. My room 119 had a lot of dust on the door for the Ac and the vent had mold and i couldn't get another room due to it being packed Also i couldn't sleep well because there were kids up above us and they were running and jumping so hard It was terrible i dont know if i would stay again it was so hard to sleep it was like 4 in the morning i even recorded it also the matress on the sofa was very thin my son said his back hurt

Loved the bed, the shower was amazing, they had a free social with free food and nonalcoholic drinks Tuesday afternoon 5-7pm. The free breakfast was quality and different menu each morning. Nice pool and recreational area outside. Kitchen was nice, I was able to cook dinner each day I was there. Great price, exceeded my expectations. I will definitely stay there again

The synder block bathrooms were a little weird. I went to get in shower and the water pressure was awful and I had zero shampoo in the bottle. I feel like that should be checked when the room is cleaned. The conditioner bottle was real low but managed to get enough out. My room wasn’t ready until 430 which I guess wasn’t a huge deal but a little inconvenient. The staff was great and it was overall pretty clean

The room was orderly but the couch was torn up and stained heavily. The wifi isn't secure so we had to use our personal data. The was a very large bug in the bedroom.

Pretty decent place

One of best lodge at Columbia/Baltimore Maryland close by Washington DC. I would visit the same staybridge Suites again when we plan the visit to Baltimore or DC(Less than an hour Drive from Staybridge Suite). The best part was the great breakfast service in the morning. My kids and parents loved the waffle, hash browns, fruits, scrambled egg, bread, different flavored juice, and many more included with the suite booking.

The suite was comfortable. Beds & pillows were comfortable. The store was accessible and the staff was very accommodating. No complaints at all.

Everything was clean, but everything was dated. The mattress was saggy on the sides but not too bad. But it literally took over 3 minutes for warm water to get to the room when you turned the faucet on. This happened both days we were there. So, a decent hotel that is in real need of an update. Not real close but a convenient location for Merriweather Post Pavillion.

Wonderful stay, the only downside was the a/c thermostat appears to have a motion sensor. Consequently we woke up several times and very hot and had to get up out of bed to keep turning the temp down below 72.

Then, when my son checked out the next day, he left a bag in the room. Kyle told him Housekeeping locked it in their closet. Which I knew was a lie bc I worked at a hotel part time for years, property is to be left with front desk. So, I went in and Kyle hid from me, I seen him hiding, I confronted him, my son called the police, he then picked up bag & gave to my son. What kinda crap is that?! We will never return there. My son has never experienced that level of racism before in his life. He was traumatized.

I loved the staff, very friendly and efficient. Hated that we had a dog yipping and barking half the night, 2 people mistakenly knocking on our door loudly late at night (one with a hoodie covering most of his head), and the nonstop noise from our upstairs neighbors and hallway. Rooms were clean, ad enough towels and linen, quality soap and shampoos, but def a bit dated. The stairwell smelled terrible and the hallways had pkug-ins to mask the carpet smells. Kitchen was very convenient but the smoke alarm right over the cooking food made no sense and triggered the alarm

Me and my boyfriend love how the room feels more like an apartment by having a kitchen and dining area. This is our favorite hotel in Maryland; the town of Columbia is clean, safe, and peaceful. The only thing about this stay, was that the fridge/freezer wasn't working and our room was on the first floor.

Perfectly pleasant spot with a large room including full kitchen, king bed, and sofa for a very reasonable price. The hot breakfast was surprisingly good. Location was more or less industrial but very convenient for my road trip. Everyone was friendly and did not encounter any problems.

As soon as you walk into the hotel lobby you are met by a disgusting pungent smell. The front desk clerk said that was their flagrance scent for the lobby/dining room. It gets worse. The thermostat in the room did not work. It was near freezing out so we called the front desk to ask for help and were told that the maintenance person would not be at work for another two hours. Talk about your shabby hotel with shabby customer service. Avoid this place like the plague

Wonderful service. We encountered a loud noise in our room and were quickly reassigned to a different room. They even followed up with us about it. Kitchenette had all the basics. Will definitely recommend when people I know are in town.

The heat system in the room was making a huge noice . I aaked to change the room and the helpdesk girl told me they were no room available. I went o line i saw the hotel was not sold out. I went back to her and she now said that the type of room i reserved was not available eventhough i saw that online. She gave me different room it was better to.me to takw that one.

This hotel front desk staff was amazing and very helpful. We booked room for two nights but had to check out earlier after one night stay due to a personal situation. The front desk staff was flexible and worked with me and Expedia to charge me only for one night. Also, the breakfast was very good.😊

I was kindly given a 1st floor room near an exit upon request because I was in a house fire as a child and am a bit nervous about not being able to get out quickly. Room 105 fit the bill perfectly, and I’ve been promised it again when I return in two weeks. So grateful for the consideration!

We like staying here since there is a full kitchen in each unit. We always go shopping at Costco when in Maryland. Full size refrigerator with freezer keeps our ice packs frozen. Convenient to shopping and restaurants.

Nothing worked the heat and AC kept going on and off the carpet was dirty. The walls were dirty. There was nothing that really was clean about the entire place. The staff was very unprofessional and lacked customer service. It appeared to be people who lived at the hotel. As I was checking out, there were people complaining who were used to better accommodations such as myself. And was checking out of the hotel early

The person checking me in was either new or wasn't familiar with the system. When I checked in she told the lady in front of me that the systems were down (they were not). When it was my turn she tried to get me to pay full price for the hotel under another reservation. I tried to explain to her that my soccer club paid for the hotel ahead of time, and it was 11:00 pm at night. Once I got in, the room was mediocre at best and surface clean. You could see dust in the vents and see dirt in the corner of the hard floors. My room had a significant slant in the floor and it was wild to think that was safe (room 350). There was noise and people banging on the walls and slamming doors. When you would walk through the halls there was trash EVERYWHERE - I never saw a housekeeper the entire time I was there. Breakfast was terrible, it looked like a microwave did all the cooking. I would not be back to this hotel based on the lack of knowledge from the staff, the cleanliness of the hotel, and the overall stay was not relaxing at all.

Comfortable, clean, functional place to stay. Our room and the eating area were great. The hallways, carpeting, etc., could use a little TLC.

Great breakfast, great hotel. The room stank a little when we first arrived but we put ice in the garbage disposal and it resolved the smell but they should have had that done first. Other than that, it was really great!

We stayed overnight because we were in town to see a concert. Front desk check-in was pleasant and efficient. When we arrived at our room, there were two bags of trash sitting outside on the floor. We figured they would be taken away shortly. The room itself had a pungent smell, so we opened the windows slightly. When we checked out the next day, the trash bags were still on the floor. To be fair, I didn't call down to ask them to be removed, but I would have thought it would have been done. The room was comfortable, plenty of space including a kitchen that we really didn't use. The bed was very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was very nice.
