    It was nice, but they did not honor the room we booked and paid for 7 months prior. Then they had us carry sheets, blankets, and pillows to our room for the pull out sofa. When we opened the pull out, there were already sheets on it, and there were crumbs everywhere in them.

    The snafoo was between me sending my money to Expedia and somehow it could not come to the front desk. I waited almost an hour, hungry, tired, waiting for the hotel confirmation number. They said that only the manager could accept the money and a confirmation number?? It only came to that email?? The front desk clerk could not receive it. The manager was not there. I hope you all work out that glitch for future guests…

    There was so much noise over are heads that we could not sleep. They took some money off the bill but that was not enough we should have been given the room free for our inconvenience. I stay at Hampton inns all the time but this was my worst experience may need to look at other hotels

    Once coffee finishes by midday in the lobby, they don’t refill it. The juice and wafflebatter at breakfast run out within l an hour of breakfast time starting, and it’s a battle to get them to put more. When we arrived (~5pm) to check in, they told us they don’t have any clean rooms for us available. We have to wait. Incredibly understaffed with one person at the front despite having a huge line. And despite what is published, they do NOT have a pool.

    Definitely the worst visit ever! Upon checking in, I learned that I would not be given the type of room that I had reserved and PAID IN ADVANCE. To make matters worse, the only room available was on the ground floor across the hallway from the hotel dining room where a large group met each night, got drunk, and literally yelled to each other and their kids running up and down the hall. My complaints to the front desk staff were completely ignored and the manager was nowhere to be found. I wouldn't stay here again if they paid me!

    The hotel was nice and clean. My room was comfortable and clean. It was an unexpected touch to see the welcome message on the TV when I turned it on. Check in took 40 minutes. There was a large group of families checking in at the same time with only one customer service rep servicing us all. I don't understand why management wasn't better prepared with more staff to handle the large number of guests which would have make check in smoother. There was a lot of noise from kids running up and down the halls for several hours. After some time when things weren't quieting down, I called the front desk to complain. Fortunately, shortly after things did quiet down. I made the decision not to go to breakfast because I knew there would be nowhere to sit and probably not enough food with the large number of families staying at the hotel. Check out was quick and easy.

    The sheets were dirty as well as the elevator. The counters in my room sticky! As if it hadn’t been wiped down. There needs to be better communication between the front desk and housekeeping! I was disrupted several times when I was clear my check out time was 12pm. The front desk staff, minus the Manager, she’s always pleasant and confident. The other women I interacted with were strange. The check out girl asked me for my feedback but she just stared at me. The check in girl seemed like she was new and unsure what to do next. I usually have a great experience but that’ll probably be my last time staying there.

    We had booked 5 nights here Monday and Tuesday were fine. We left for Philadelphia for a day and came back on Thursday for our final three days. These stays were booked and confirmed weeks in advance. When we came back on Thursday we were told someone was in our room because they did not want to leave. Instead of kicking them out they told us we would have to downsize to a smaller room and move if our room became available the next day. Neither of these options would work for as we needed the suite that we had booked and were not going to be around to move since we had plans the following day. This was a major inconvenience when asked why they didn’t ask the people in our room to move they said they won’t ask a paying customer to leave even though they had no reservation. This was totally unacceptable as I had the room reserved and am also a paying customer. Very poor customer service!

    Upon arrival toilet was clogged I reported to front desk on first day nothing happened I returned the next day and they handed me a plunger to fix the clog. Normally a maintenance worker would preform the task.

    Most AC units allow you to just run the fan all the time. This unit stopped the fan when the compresser stops. We were given a handi cap room . Front desk employee asked if ok. Not really knowing what that would be we agreed. He saw that i was tall, 6' 4" and a senior, he should have mentioned the bed was extremely close to the floor.

    I love Hampton Inn….however at this location there is a car wash nearby. The noise from the dryer or whatever it is - is so loud…prepare for constant background, moderate frequency noise from early in the morning until whenever they close. If you leave out early and are gone all day until nighttime - you should be fine.

    The room was clean, though the property isn't brand new - but it seemed well-maintained. Breakfast was fine, and better than the average offering. Bathroom fixture needed adjustment, but it was taken care of quickly and efficiently (shower head is over 6' above tub). One issue that made us unhappy: EV charging appeared to be available on the property, but chargers and all cables were thoroughly broken and unusable.

    The tv was on when we got there and unplugged. There was no phone to call to other rooms, so we couldn't call room service or other's we were staying with at the hotel. The faucet for the shower was coming off the wall and our toliet seat was completely broken just sitting on the toliet. A charger from the last person staying was still in the wall, so it seemed as though our room was just thrown together for us that evening

    Area around hotel was busy. We heard reviving cars from our room throughout and overnight. Room was very large but basic. Beds were low to ground and moved when you sat down or rolled over. We stay in lots lf same chain for travel sports and this one was definitely not same standard. Strangest thing was no curtains! Semi-sheer roll down shade so lights from parking lot kept room light overnight and we didn’t sleep well because of it. I asked about it at check out and was told there are no curtains in any rooms now.

    Room was great and better than I anticipated. I could have stayed in all day due to how comfortable it was. My only critique is how long it takes the shower to warm. I noticed when I showered when I first arrived it took a second but it eventually warmed up. However, that evening, when I turned it on (after flushing) the water reached luke warm if that really. Overall great stay, would recommend and stay again, I guess just be mindful on your order of operation, haha.

    The room looked OK, but we quickly found that the cleaning was superficial at best. The counter at service bar counter at entry was covered in a sticky residue (I carry discenfecting wipes) and the bath vanity sink did not drain because a clamp was missing on the drain arm under the sink. Engineer rigged a temporary repair. Our hypoallerge nic Labradoodle detected a scent in the room--$75 deposit evidently does not cover any deep cleaning betweeb pet guests. We were either roasting or chilled asthe Heat/AC unit was temperamental--either cold air or superheated. The 1st floor hallway had a distinct odor of cigarette smoke at the entrance/exit next to our room--exterior access right outside our door. Lastly, the address on my bill is not mine! Hilton "Customer Service" was not concerned.

    Our suite was awesome! Clean and well thought out. Plus the clerk asked which floor we’d like to be on, we chose the first floor. Excellent. We would stay there again. My only suggestion is that hot breakfast trays of food in the breakfast area be available until breakfast time is over at 10 am. Excellent value for the money. Great location too.

    This was our 3rd stay here and unfortunately will be the last. It's really not worth the money we paid. Not sure how the Hampton Inn can let it go in terms of quality when they usually have such good places. The destination charger thiugh is always appreciated but it would be nice for guests to use them properly and be careful rather than break them. At checkout had to leave my key cause the receptionist was in her office on the phone for at least 5 min before the lady from the breakfast went in to see what was going on.     When we entered the room, we noticed that it was a bit rundown. The carpet was buckling with folds, which were very dangerous. I was afraid that I was going to fall on them. Then we realize that the head of the bed was lower than the foot of the bed. So after an exhausting day of traveling, my husband and I had to pack all of our stuff up and move to another room. We were given a suite which was lovely but it was very inconvenient to have to move in the first place. I don’t understand how that bed and room were made up and approved for the next guest. We are 63 and 64 years old. We did not appreciate having to move our stuff to another room at 9:30 at night.

    Too much noise coming from the room above mine. Sounded like they were playing soccer or wrestling or something. The bam and thump sounds...ALL NITE LONG until i checked out that morning. I did NOT get a good sleep and i told the desk person. She thought the room above mine was young people.

    Facilities were good but I rated a 4 because Expedia says dog fee is $50, but they said it is $75 and things hadn’t been corrected. This was a bummer because I made a hotel choice bc of the dog fee. I could have gone to several others that listed fee was $75.

    My first room had a very unpleasant odor, so I asked the front desk to move me. They were polite and changed my room right away, which I appreciated. However, the hallways also had a strong bad smell that made the overall experience uncomfortable. The staff was helpful, but the hotel really needs to address the cleanliness and air quality issues.

    The front desk receptionist was rude, and unwelcoming. The room I booked was no longer available and the hotel was sold out. After a 15 hour drive and arriving at midnight (which was stated in the initial booking). Very disappointed that a Hilton honors member was treated this way!

    Beds are good, rooms seem clean and modern, and location is convenient for our purpose. They try hard to accommodate special requests- we always ask for a 1st floor room for our senior dog. We’ve received late checkouts at no cost a couple of times. Our only complaint is that the free breakfast is meh. At best.

    The hotel itself seemed clean, however, all the lights in the breakfast area were caked with dust and grime. It was obvious these had not been cleaned in quite some time. Since these hung over the food area, I did not feel confident in the food I was eating. Beds were extremely comfortable, but pillows were horrible. No amenities were offered in the bathroom, such as shower cap, q-tips, etc. Water pressure in shower was very light. Shower floor looked old and dirty. Not sure I would stay at this establishment again.

    Location of the hotel was great but the comfort of the bed and pillows was not pleasant. We woke up several times during the night to fix pillows. The temperature was hard to regulate also, so our night was pretty rough trying to fix pillows and temperature. Also, the housekeeping came around 9 am knocking the door very loud trying to get to clean the room. Then the checkout staff came again and knock the door very loud announcing, I guess, it was time to leave, when we were ready to leave the room.

    My only complaint is the air conditioner in our room did not work correctly. I did not sleep well due to the heat and having to wake up and reset the air conditioner. It stayed at 75 degrees all night, well above the 70 degrees it was set at.

    Everything about our stay was excellent. Unfortunately, we left a shoe in our hotel room, and when we called, we were told it couldn’t be found. We’d like to suggest implementing a lost and found system, where staff can contact guests if any items are left behind. You could also consider setting a deadline for pickup. It would go a long way in enhancing the guest experience.

    I won't say this my worst stay, because it wasn't even close to that, what I will say I expected better. First off the "room" which you call a suite was a very nice room, however things went downhill from there, first went to use bathroom and the paper dispenser was hanging out the wall, next the hot water took almost 15 min to even get warm, then the water pressure wasn't that great. I've stayed in many suites' Hardrock, Ocean, Harrahs and several others so i've come to know what a suite looks like. Even the front desk person didn' t seem to know what she was doing, from asking general questions to not knowing what to charge for some snacks I wanted to purchase. While I know that i'm a small fish in a big pond i know quite a few small fishes who travel. Hopefully this helps in improving what I believe to be a great product that just needs some tweeking.     Staff was very nice 5 Stars. Breakfast was subpar and a little bland, disappointing. The hotel and rooms we were charge $274.33 per night plus tax for, equaled $929.97 for a 3 night stay and fell extremely short of the expectations we had for what we had to pay. What we got was not worth that amount of money. Very unhappy about that. Further, 1 of the 3 rooms we were assigned had not been cleaned, the rooms assigned were on different floor for one of us, the water in the bathroom area sinks would not get hot AT ALL unless the hot water faucet in the kitchen sink was turned on first, the closet door was broken. The hallway rugs looked dirty and although the temperatures outside were in the high 80's there was not air conditioning on in the hallways which were stifling hot and humid. I was embarrassed that my friends ended up having to pay a 4-5 Star price for what was more a 3 Star experience. Very disappointing. Last year we stayed at a Hampton Inn a little further away that we paid less for but was a 4-5 star experience. We didn't think it fair to voice this complain with the staff there who were 4-5 star people and we did not want that cloud to ruin our own good time. However, we will not recommend this branch to anyone else and will not plan a return stay unless we have no other options. We would appreciate, however some type of credit because the rooms we paid for did not measure up. If that's possible, thank you for that consideration.

    No gel in the dispenser upon arrival. Only the roll of toilet paper in the bathroom, had to call housekeeping to get another roll. Our last night we had to go down to the front desk to get toilet paper, she said, I don't have any have to go upstairs to get some, my husband said, please do. Asked housekeeping in the hallway the next morning, no English she had to do translation on her phone, handed us Kleenex. What the heck?

    The staff at this Hampton Inn & Suites were by far the nicest, most professional team that I have ever seen at a hotel. From the front desk staff to the kitchen staff, even to the call center reservation representative, they all provided such exceptional service. It was a pleasure staying at the Hampton Inn & Suites Columbia South Ft. Meade Area, I would highly recommend this hotel.

    I had a comfortable room with a large comfy bed. The room was clean and the TV was large. I had a very relaxing visit to this Hampton Inn. The breakfast was delicious, with hot and cold options. The surrounding area had many food options, so I was very satisfied. I especially liked the 24 hour access to tea and hot chocolate (they had coffee too but I don't drink coffee).
