    I have been staying at this establishment on an offer for four years and the customer service just gets worse specifically with the supervisor who's consistently on her phone and doesn't even bother to hang up to attend to customers and never is at the front desk where she should be, multiple occasions she has little baby back there with her while she's working, she's never dress professional always in some leggings or something ghetto and one time even disappeared with a male worker for well over 30 minutes which I guess is now her boyfriend so who knows what they were doing while she's on the clock and has customers waiting!! Shes very unprofessional and makes this establishment look like bad and ghetto

    Reeked of pot and cigarette smell. Stains on the lampshade and carpet. There was no remote for the tv so I had to use the controls on the back, but it didn't matter because the picture kept blacking out so I just left it off. The AC unit had a very loud rattle whenever it was on, so I didn't have it on overnight. There was no stopper in the sink and my earbud fell down the drain. The key to my room kept deactivating and require three trips to the front desk for assistance. I do not recommended this hotel.

    Carpet was terribly stained and not vacuumed. Bathroom floor not sweeped nor mopped. Once it hit dark the parking lot became full of people hanging around who seemed to didn’t belong there, also women of the night.

    The bed linen was clean. I had no choice but to stay somewhere inexpensive in this city. This was the worst hotel experience of my life. The pool was disgusting, and swimming there simply did not feel safe. Everything looks beautiful in the photos on the website, but in reality the entire place is in a depressing condition. Inside, everything smelled strongly of weed. The breakfasts consisted of “plastic,” processed food that was completely inedible. I only managed to eat an apple. I paid $120 per night, but it would have been much better to pay an extra $40 and stay at literally any other hotel.

    We’ve stayed here before because it’s a convenient location for the NOS center. This time we had no bedding for the pullout couch and the front desk man said they were out because it was a full hotel. He was also in the middle of smoking which we don’t care about, it’s not our business. It could’ve been the reason he was too lazy to help us out. The next morning I asked a housekeeper and she immediately gave us pillows and bedding. (A big thank you to her, that made our day). My friends had to sleep the first night on the “bed” with absolutely nothing. Mind you the mattress was stained with so many things, and is incredibly uncomfortable. I guess that’s what we paid for but the situation with the front desk was not okay. He knew our situation and didn’t care.

    I really like this hotel. The beds are so comfortable and I love the breath is absolutely delicious. I haven’t tried the pool or Jacuzzi yet. It’s been kind of cold. The only thing I don’t like is the smell of marijuana when you check in.

    Worst Hotel We've stayed in, in many years. It smelled like a pot house at every entrance. The only entrance that wasn't broken was the front doors. People coming and going all night long yell and screaming, banging on the other doors. Went to get breakfast and it wasn't stocked with food. I believed the 8 rating on Expedia and booked the hotel. This hotel was the biggest let down we've had in a long time. Jaccuzi tub is broken too. Room was fairly clean except for stains in the carpet.

    The tenants however made it a questionable experience. When we got there, the hallway smelled like weed. I wanted to use the gym later that night when we arrived but none of the machines were working =( nor was the hot tub. It's okay though, it happens. Gym looked clean though. While I was trying to figure out what to do, we heard screaming right outside the hallway. Group of young adults/teens were arguing with each other about some gang nonsense. Not cool when you have little ones. Only thing I'll say that would have made it a great experience would be the gym, hot tub (it was cold that night), and maybe a cleaner smell? Possibly even hiring security staff? I hope this isn't an every night thing. Lastly, maybe keep serving breakfast until the time given? They stopped making breakfast 15 mins before the close time and people were still coming in. However, staff were amazing and really helpful! No issues with them at all! Recommend for those who just need basic necessities and don't care much about what I mentioned. 7/10

    Breakfast was definitely not great but better than nothing. The bathroom needed some fixing up, was run down. The keys didn't work on either of our rooms which was a pain because it was far from reception and in the evening when we arrived back from our event, which was why we chose to stay instead of driving so far home so late, we couldn't find anyone to help us get into our rooms so we were waiting around and trying to call to get help but it took at least 30minutes before we could get help which was not good

    Overall not too bad for a couple nights just a little dirty. All amenities worked good, parking was safe, cleaning staff were very nice, breakfast was ok, but room could’ve been cleaner and hallways smelled of cigarette/weed smoke. We had multiple stains on the floors, chairs, walls, curtains, and we even found someone else’s hair still on the sides of the shower wall when we first got into the room.

    We walked in the building and were overcome with the smell of bad marijuana ir whatever it was they were smoking IN A NON SMOKING HOTEL. Wanted to watch network TV. No signal Oscars were on. Other channels work. Went down to desk the guy said he had no idea, never heard of that kind of problem. Didn't know what to do. I would have moved to another hotel, but we had already been charged and were tired.

    The staff was friendly and check-in was a breeze. The furniture in the room had some stains and one of the desk drawers was heavily tagged. The area can be sketchy at night and the hallway smelled of weed. I know those last two points can't be helped. However, the bed was clean and comfortable. The shower pressure was great. Overall, we were able to get a good night's rest.

    The room was uninhabitable, unsafe, and in violation of California law. It also did not contain two queen beds that were advertised and instead had two full beds. There was blood on the blinds and bodily fluid on the sheets and furniture. The smoke detector was also disabled. As a result, I refused the room on the spot and am fighting for a refund.

    Unfortunately, the room I was given had several issues — the TV did not work, the air conditioning was very noisy, and the toilet was not functioning properly. I reached out to the reception multiple times to request maintenance, but the response and no effective solution was provided. I also wish to express my concern that the treatment I received seemed influenced by bias. In my opinion, some staff members may show discriminatory behavior toward certain guests — particularly westerners who are not white — assuming that they will not complain or cause problems. This perception is deeply unfair, and it negatively affects the hotel’s reputation and guests’ comfort. I had chosen your hotel again because of a positive past experience, but this visit was disappointing. I hope you will look into this matter seriously and ensure that your staff treat all guests with equal respect and professionalism.

    When I checked in the room I was given smelled like smoke I asked the room service staff if they had deodorizer and she checked room and sprayed deodorizer. After a moment she said let's talk to front desk and move you. The front seat moved me and the room and the stay were both perfect! Would stay again ...staff showed interest in making my stay comfortable. And even tho being on the first floor there was zero issues with noise whatsoever. Room was clean.

    Also the hallways smelled like old weed. It looks like they're renovating or recently had. The last hallway had big tiles missing out of the floor. The room was clean. Shower didn't have the greatest water pressure, but worse was that it didn't get fully hot. Also, although we had key cards to access doors.. doors were either propped open or didn't latch. We did not try the breakfast.

    The staff was extremely helpful. I was traveling with a travel trailer and the parking lot more than accommodated the size of the trailer. They even put me in a room where I could keep an eye on it. The breakfast was outstanding! Staying another night... That's how great it was.

    Unfortunately, our experience with the original reservation at Riverside Inn & Suite Hotel was extremely disappointing due to the poor condition of the property. We refused to stay there and immediately booked into this hotel. Despite the circumstances, Hotels.com did not issue a full refund for the Riverside Inn & Suite reservation, which was very frustrating. While we were satisfied with the second hotel, we are disappointed in Hotels.com’s handling of the refund process. We hope that Hotels.com reviews such cases more fairly and ensures that properties listed on the platform meet reasonable quality standards.

    First gave us a room the keys didnt work, asked to changed rooms as the neighbor was blairing music. Went back to reception and the lady gave us a different room( reception lady was very nice). New room.... tv did not work and no shampoo or conditioner in the room. Hallways smelt musky, also many people roaming around in and around parking lot after midnight.

    Do not stay at this hotel there is zero security doors don’t lock from the outside accessing multiple buildings. In addition, the exterior door was propped open. The hot tub does not work. I was told directly to my face that it was operational prior to check in. Also, our room had no smoke detector And the phone to the front desk was in the operable and yes, we could’ve gone to the front desk, but after being lied to about the hot tub, I had zero confidence that anything they told me would be the truth.

    Traveled for a rave with friends. Not the greatest stay, the keys did not work, even after going up to desk to try them again, they still did not work, the front desk worker said he would open the door for us when we got back, he gave us a hard time and was hesitant on the idea of it, even though he said he would open the door for us. No trash can or phone in the room (not that we needed one but just in case we had a question or request), sheets were dirty and room was muggy and smelled a bit.

    This place is disgusting and dirty. Bed sheets were dirty and the room wasn’t cleaned. They’re was blood stains on the floor, finger nails, and broken glass. I took a picture of all the stuff. Called Expedia for a refund waited an hour to talk to a supervisor, just for him to hang up. Had to call back and they would hang up after.

    Walking in the place had no ac so not the best first impression but it was clean and looked nice.     The service at the desk is pleasant. However, there are MANY homeless and people hanging out. They prop the back doors open with rocks. Many people constantly going in and out. I didn't feel unsafe but I was definitely paying attention to my surroundings. There are also a lot of people sleeping in their cars in the parking lot.

    The girl at the front desk said that the back of the hotel is very noisy and loud I chose a non-smoking room and the first thing I walk into the room smelling like street cigarettes. The guest in this hotel were smoking in the hallway out of their door. I also had a guest have a dog running through the hallway. This hotel I would never recommend to anyone. It is beyond ghetto. I feel like there’s prostitutes and strippers that live there.

    Great property not too bad of an area my only issue is the fact I was racially profiled “ik what type of person u are” exact words said to me. As well as threatening to kick me out because I was expressing my problems as a paying guest. The lady at the front then proceeded to say well I’m Latina so I don’t care (keep in mind this is a grown woman) then goes on to say that hotels don’t run on a customers wishes ? After working in the hotel industry for 5 years myself she was obviously not trained properly. And after that all she had to say is the mangers will take her side regardless of the situation I am in complete disbelief that I had this issue at a hotel I’m paying 200$ for a night.

    Upon arrival, the atmosphere was very loud. The adjacent rooms were blasting music. Despite the fact that our room was non-smoking, there was a strong smell of smoke in the room. There was no iron board in our room. A poor vacuuming of the area around the bed was evident in the room. It appears that the previous guests left a dirty charger behind. There is an unpleasant smell emanating from the bedsheets. The shampoo in the bathroom appeared to have been used. We were not able to contact the front desk due to the lack of a telephone in the room. During the early hours of the morning, a guest was sleeping on the staircase of the hallway, snoring loudly. Only Fatima at check-in was extremely professional and informative about coffee and breakfast, hence the five-star rating for service. In addition to being polite and friendly, she greeted us with a smile. In addition to helping us, she made sure to acknowledge other guests who were waiting, informing them that she would be with them shortly. There are several Comfort Inns throughout California that I have stayed at. It was one of the worst stays I have ever experienced. In addition, I would like to note that the lobby as well as the restrooms were very clean. Upon arrival and check-out, the coffee bar was fully stocked. It is unlikely that I will return.

    The card keys to open the rooms never open the doors to the rooms twice I’ve checked in so these rooms are way on the other side of the building so I had to do it 3 times I was so irritated till CB the actual receptionist had to go with me to open it and it happened again so they need a new system and then the rooms have no phone s to b call the front desk it’s not safe to not have access to a phone

    It's a homeless shelter disguised as a hotel. Gavin Newsone and Choice Hotels should be ashamed of yourselves. All locks were broken. Says no smoking but the hallway was filled with weed smoke. Drug paraphernalia and pimps and hoes. Everything was broken. Police there every night. Every night we had men knocking on our door asking if Oscar was there. I don't know if Oscar was a pimp or a drug dealer even the maintenance guy knocked on our door looking for weed. God help us. We will never becoming back to this hotel or Riverside. Oh and paying customers should have the breakfast before homeless people. They should only get porridge.

    The room gave me some kind of allergic reaction which isn’t normal. My eyes were super red and I had trouble breathing through my nose about an hour after arrival. I get that with some cats so maybe a cat was in the room. Beds and pillows are on the hard side.

    We had to be moved into a different room twice. Our first room, the locks didn't work properly. The second room, we had issues with the toliet not working properly. We had someone from maintenance mess with it for a few minutes then tell us it was good to go. The next time we used the toliet it overfilled onto the bathroom floor and into the rest of the room. We were then finally moved to our 3rd room. All throughout this process the staff was unfriendly. We also had to ask for towel multiple time before receiving any.

    Do not stay at this location. It is a trap motel with hoodrats roaming around the parking lot and halls of the motel at night. The rooms are disgusting with stains on the lampshades, paint peeling off the walls, and rooms that smell so bad it burns your nose. Stay far away from this hotel and spend the extra $30 a night at somewhere nicer.

    The room smelled so bad, I thought I could air it out but the smell didn't go away at all. I reserved a room with 2 queen beds and got 2 full size beds. The remote control did not work, one of the bed pillows had a hole in it. Breakfast was to start at 6 am and was not ready until 6:30.
