Reviews
The hotel staff is consistently praised for their helpfulness and friendliness. The location is also frequently mentioned as a pro, being convenient and close to various attractions. However, cleanliness seems to be a mixed bag, with some guests praising the cleanliness and others finding issues. Some guests also express dissatisfaction with the breakfast offered.

The suites are really well set up. Kitchen is well thought out and everything works. Bath fixtures need an update but everything works. Location is very convenient

Excellent location. We wanted to visit the Garden of the Gods and Manitou Springs as well as Torchy's tacos in Colorado Springs. This was the perfect location. Just off the freeway and right around the corner from Garden of the Gods which ends in Manitou Springs. We spent 2 nights and days so a quick trip but really liked the room with two separate bedrooms as we were traveling with our adult kids as well. The kitchen was very convenient and adequate. The beds weren't the most comfy but we did ok. The room was quiet and nice. The breakfast left something to be desired but it had enough to get us going in the morning and there's a dunks and a little grocery right on the corner for coffee and a few things. Would absolutely stay again if I'm in the area again.

Had a very good stay

One bedroom suites are very nice, breakfast was good. Property little outdated but still nice
- 2/5
Pool was closed, water looked hazy. Garbage cans outside were overflowing first couple days.
- 3/5
I will never make a reservation at TownPlace Suites” specialty for this reason.

Great stay. Nice place would stay here again

Staff was helpful and went out of their way to be accommodating . Soft comfortable beds and pillows. Great breakfast buffet that was packed with protein.
- 4/5
Good location. Lots of food options nearby. Hot breakfast ok..

Nothing

Ehhh.. from a tub that drains slow and having to stand in a food water taking a shower to drinking glasses with lipstick on them. We booked a suite to have a spot to sit and sofa is put 90 degrees up against the wall with TV, what’s the point? Hidden pet fee not disclosed upfront. Dog poo all over lawn near entrance, what’s the fee for? Come on Marriott you can do better!

It is very close to places we wanna go to. None

The nice young woman who helped us change rooms because the t.v. didn't work the in the first room, was very kind. We are sorry we have forgotten her name.

Nothing to complain of. Note it is an older property.

Timothy was super friendly and helpful at check in and check out. When in the area I will definitely stay here again. Rooms where clean and spacious.
- 1/5
The rooms are extremely dated, like the 80s. No elevator to upper floors. No in room safe. Extremely small TV. Good location, just very run down.
- 5/5
Clean, spacious, and comfortable.
- 5/5
Great value for the space
- 5/5
We really enjoyed our stay! Could have had more breakfast choices like I have seen at other Marriotts, but all in all, wonderful place!
- 4/5
Perfect location for our needs.

The space in the apartment was lovely. We could work and sleep comfortably. The place was dirty. The night person at the desk was frazsled.

Feont desk was friendly, breakfast was good, hotel was overall clean. A bit on the older side, but thats nothing that the staff can do about. Carpet was clean, TV worked, and water pressure was good. Overall, a good safe place to stay.

Away from the busy part of the city. Easy to navigate around and very close to garden of the gods.

This is one of the worst hotel states that I have ever been to. I don’t usually write bad reviews because I have stated some really crappy motels, but the staff here was absolutely disgusting, rude, and liars. They charge me twice for the room and I had to claim it as fraud on my card because they kept telling me that they refunded it and it’s been over three weeks and nothing has been refunded. The air-conditioning in the room did not work in the room was very dirty. The bed was very uncomfortable, and the television did not work. The manager had told me that she’s going to be refunding me partially for part of the room being so horrible and the bathroom smells so bad with the floor coming up. The manager pretty much played phone games and when I called does not answer the phone. I will be reporting this flight to the Better Business Bureau and this place should be avoided completely.
- 4/5
Our kids loved the outdoor pool! The room was very nice. Breakfast wasn’t large, but did have a couple hot options. Definitely appreciated all the dishes/amenities inside the room as well.

Flies in the room, requested room cleaning three times. Everytime assured it would be done but not cleanrd til day 4th day, dryers out of service the whole time we were there, no hot water last day we were there, Shower door off if hinge, not fixed til day before we left. One day breakfast out if brown syger plastic glasses and coconut topping. Trash behind side table on day of arrival. Television control didn't always work buttonfor on/off Channels stalled delayed.
- 3/5
Decent stay for one night, got in late and needed something last minute. Property was average, needs some updates
- 4/5
Free breakfast and parking. The bed seemed smaller than a queen.

The bed seemed smaller than a queen.
- 2/5
The stay was ok. Our room smelled like mildew and it was overall just run down.
- 2/5
Unfortunately, our room was dirty (trash left from previous guest), tv did not work, had to go to lobby to get toilet paper and towels & bed was not made properly making us question whether they were fresh sheets.
- 4/5
Breakfast was what youd expect for free. Outdoor pool was clean and tidy. Staff was super friendly. Would absolutely stay again.
- 4/5
For example, there's a desk/table combo - and they hadn't pulled out the table to clean the surface (so it was sticky).
- 4/5
Very good
- 5/5
The room was clean and the water was hot. Pool is heated and made for a relaxing evening.
- 5/5
Everything was good only problem was the breakfast bar didn’t have too much of a selection and the lady refilling had her headphones on which I thought it was disrespectful because customers could be asking her questions so she has to be attentive to customers

We stay in hotels all over, and I’ve never had an experience quite like this, even my cheap boutique Mexico hotels. I traveled for my daughter’s softball tournament and picked a place that would sleep myself and 2 pre teens, and had a kitchen. I did not know that I was going to be in the mix of lower end apartment style drama, and at risk youths under 24/7 supervision. We paid the premium 4th of July pricing, while fighting and gunshots rang out in the parking lot right when we were outside!!! We witnessed it all, and my kids were shook up and no longer wanted to walk alone in the hotel. After it cleared up, there was drama again right when we were trying to get to bed early for a 5 am wake up call. Not much sleep occurred that night. Our softball team planned to swim the next day too, but clearly we couldn’t do that and feel safe, so we had to go to a town pool, which was packed and had a fee to enter. Anyone who does competitive sports, knows the days are very long and you just want a place to lay your head, eat, rest and rejuvenate for the next day of games. I spent that next day, while trying to help with the team, on the phone with Marriott and looking for a new place. We couldn’t find a good fit, as it’s now last minute. What does this solo traveling mom now do? We stayed begrudgingly and 2 days later, the police were back! This time due to an at risk youth whom is housed at this hotel, what! I’ve yet to hear from Marriott with a resolution or partial refund.
- 5/5
Stayed a night and the hotel was clean and staff friendly. No frills but amazing beds! We will definitely stay here again.

- 5/5
Quaint little area, perfect pool and central to everywhere we wanted to go!
- 4/5
Beautiful area with mountain view
- 4/5
Nice comforable place and close to family
- 5/5
Awesome! We had the pleasure of staying in Colorado Springs at this Marriot Resort for over a week. The suite...staff...breakfast...and amenities were exceptional. It was better than a home away from home. Convienent to plently of choices for food and attractions with a great view of Pikes Peak. Valerie, Sarah, Hayley, Aaron, Sandy, Cris, and Brandy to mention afew...THANK YOU for making us feel like family. Your aim to serve our needs was appreciated and achieved. We will miss you, but will definitely choose to return.
- 5/5
Nice stay
- 2/5
The pool was not open as stated and seemed apocalyptic, lots of noise from the next room, outdated slow TV’s, seriously uncomfortable bed. A nice staff that should find another place to work. Didn’t stay out whole stay.
- 5/5
The fully stockd kitchen was GREAT having the ability to prepare my own meals.👍
- 5/5
I live in Aurora and sometimes have to commute to Colorado Springs and my job was 1 Mile away. Early am departure but slept well. I do need a receipt for my 2 stays emailed to me please. May 4 and May 15 I believe is when I was there. Nice place!
- 5/5
My wife and I had our apartment flood. This was an awesome place to stay, really felt like mini apartments. Sarah at the front desk was always so pleasant to deal with and had a great personality. Everyone who works here was awesome to deal with as well.

Staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast crew was always smiling and happy. When we asked for more tp and towels for the room, the staff was quick and responsive. It was a very pleasant 5 night stay. Clean too!
- 5/5
Great location, clean , friendly staff.
- 5/5
it could not be any better.. it was so nice, people were friendly and accommodating...
- 5/5
Staff are really nice, good breakfast buffet.
- 5/5
This was a great hotel for our stay. We had the two room suite and it was perfect. Very clean room and very friendly staff!
- 5/5
Courteous staff. Comfy stay and good value!
- 5/5
The two bedroom suite was very clean and comfortable. The price was what got my attention, as this was cheaper than a lot of single room stays. The room had everything you’d expect for an extended-stay even though we were only here two nights. The facility itself a little dated but it is clean throughout with no strange smells. Decent breakfast options. Every staff member we encountered was helpful and friendly. Zero complaints from check-in through check-out. Will definitely look to stay here again next time I’m in the area.
- 5/5
Beautiful and clean
- 5/5
Perfect place for our vacation, rooms super clean, staff was friendly and it was close to all the activities we wanted to do.
- 5/5
Love Towne Suites! This is our second time staying with them. We stayed in a studio this time.(2 bedroom last) it is located close to a grocery store so you can stock up your kitchenette. They have a breakfast every morning. Garden of the gods is really close and you can see Pikes Peak from the property. Overall, great time!
- 5/5
It was clean and staff was friendly
- 5/5
Love this place!
- 5/5
Loved that the property 2nd building had a secured entrance. Great location to Garden of the Gods. Walkable to restaurants although a bit dark. Trinity Brewery was fabulous. Breakfast was great. Room was spacious except the tiny toilet/shower area otherwise a perfect space.
- 5/5
I absolutely loved it! Staff was super friendly. The views were phenomenal! It was amazing!
- 4/5
Nice place. Stayed 3 days! Nice!
- 5/5
Parking is a bit congested , if you have lot of luggage to unload and load from vehicle, then not too convinient. Too quiet outside and some parking spots farther away are not that well lit. Overall good value for money
- 3/5
The hot water the first few days was lukewarm but after that it was perfect. The bkfst room was awfully small. I did appreciate they had nondairy milk!
- 4/5
The stay was nice.
- 4/5
At first, we weren't sure this was the right place. There was no signage apart from "Welcome" outside the office. Inside, though, was clean and peaceful and has everything youd need to stay comfortably for a week or more. Comfortable and clean. Super mattress. Quiet neighborhood. Just doesnt look like a hotel, which I guess is probably the point.
- 5/5
Great staff, good place to stay. Would stay in again and would recommend.
- 3/5
I stayed for one night. The suite size was good. The breakfast was very poor. It's a bit dated.
- 4/5
It was nice but they charged a lot for a pet for 2 nights!
- 5/5
Property was friendly.
- 2/5
The hotel smelled musty, was fairly run down, have very small smelly bathrooms, had very little eating room for breakfast and was out of coffee cups 2 of the three days that my family stayed.
- 5/5
The hotel and grounds are beautiful and well kept. They are close to Garden of the Gods but not so close that traffic is an issue. Very nice hotel.
- 5/5
Good family space.
- 5/5
We stayed for 11 nights and the facility had everything we needed. Pool, well equipted kitchen, and very pleasant staff. Ive already recommended it.to family and friends.
- 2/5
Overall a nice place to stay but our room had clogged toilets and that ruined our stay. We were given an additional room to use the toilet and we were not given new rooms until our last day of stay. Nice friendly staff but they should have confirmed the room was livable before giving it out.
- 5/5
Very thin walls. I was in room 116 and bedtime. I had a hard time sleeping because all I did here was some type of TV radio through the wall, which I had problem sleeping.
- 5/5
nice
- 5/5
The only thing we didn’t love about this was it was hard to get to. The staff was very accommodating and the rooms were very nice and clean.
- 5/5
We had a business trip that had some bumps in the road. The staff was absolutely amazing. They were all helpful and went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of. The hotel was very clean and quiet. The free fresh breakfast was great every morning. The location was convenient for what we needed. We will definitely be back soon.
- 5/5
The hotel is a little dated, but that being said the location was perfect, the staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was beyond my expectations. I already booked for my return in November.
- 2/5
Wouldnt stay there again because how dirty it was. Also room was never cleaned. Had to take out are own trash. They dont provide trash bags.
- 2/5
Was dirty.
- 5/5
Its an older property but very well maintained. All the staff we encountered were extremely helpful and nice. The breakfast area is small but very clean. The lady who worked in there kept it fully stocked the whole time we were there. Any issues with our room were fixed right away. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with plates and pots. Only complaint was the laundry room could use some maintenance. Overall we loved it and would stay again.
- 4/5
Arrived hours earlier than our check in time and were called and texted as soon as a room became available. Room was clean and quiet.breakfast was great. Would definitely recommend!
- 5/5
I appreciated being able to make my own coffee and have slow mornings.
- 5/5
Very nice place for an extended stay but we were there for a night. Was a little apprehensive because it looked like an apartment but it wasnt and we had plenty of room. We will stay here again!
- 5/5
Close to the sights we planned
- 5/5
The hotel was great. The staff was helpful and friendly
- 5/5
Nice and easy
- 5/5
Traveling with family and had 2 bedrooms with kitchen very clean and staff very nice and the price for 5 people very affordable!! Excellent choice, breakfast it was really good
- 5/5
Everything exceeded my expectations.
- 4/5
This was my second time staying here and first time using the 2 bedroom suite. The only complaint would be the configuration of the suite. It had one bathroom in a hallway. I would think in the room would have been better. Other than that it was cool. The suite next to us was pretty noisy and they were just talking at a normal level so don't expect it to be a quiet haven and I smelled all the food they were burning. 😂
- 5/5
No issues with the stay. However, the pet fee during check in was quoted at $60 per night. I showed the associate the Hotels.com quoted price of $20 and was only charged $20. However, travel web sites need a better way of communicating pet policies, fees, and the need of a pet friendly room to the hotels.
- 5/5
Quite hotel. Clean and tidy. Friendly staff. Beds are not very comfortable.
- 4/5
Everyone on staff was so kind and helpful!
- 5/5
The grounds, rooms were very clean, would not hesitate to stay here again
- 5/5
First time to Colorado Springs. Beautiful hotel. I would be back!
- 4/5
Our room was what we expected, a queen studio with kitchenette, clean. Our frig wasn't working getting cold enough. I did report to front desk staff and within 10 minutes, the maintenance gentleman came and replaced the frig as not have us wait for him to run a diagnostic test. They have a pretty good continental breakfast choices. We're pretty picky , so we had bought out own breakfast items. Our stay was 5 nights and we would definitely stay there again. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Lobby area very clean , breakfast area very clean, as were the common areas.
- 5/5
I loved it here and I plan on coming back.
- 4/5
The rooms were clean and we enjoyed our two bedroom suite. Housekeeping would not empty trash or replace towels unless requested. The tv in one room was not working and there seemed to be no sense of urgency once requested. We stayed for three nights and we enjoyed our stay. I would go back especially when traveling with children.
- 4/5
The breakfast was a little disappointing and nobody was usually at the front desk. It was still a great value for a couple nights for our family to have a suite with bedrooms with doors
- 1/5
I took a room with queen bed and sofa bed. Unfortunately the sofa I can't use because of lots of pet hair. Also in the room no garbage bags kept in the garbage bin. We were 4 of our family, felt very bad and it's in hygiene due to pet hairs. If they are allowing pet then they should take care of hygiene and cleaning everything properly, which is not there at all. I will never stay in this kind of property
- 5/5
Very clean and spacious room
- 4/5
The 2 bedroom suite was very roomy. Beds were comfy and it was nice to have full kitchen.
- 5/5
This place is so perfect and affordable for what you get I love it. The breakfast is great you have something different every day
- 5/5
We had a 2 bedroom suite for a 6 night stay. Very spacious and comfortable. The staff at the front desk was excellent throughout our stay. Breakfast was good. The location was convenient -just off Garden of the Gods road so quiet enough but close to shopping and dining. A full kitchen gave us the ability to make our own meals if we wanted
- 4/5
Room 116. Heater in hallway on other side of wall made a vibration all night on wall by bed.
- 5/5
Wonderful, courteous, clean and organized.
- 4/5
The beds in the rooms are comfy but the sofa bed in the living room is not. There's no full length mirror besides in the bathroom area which makes it tough for 4 women to get ready at the same time. We borrowed a rice cooker from the front desk that was dirty and scratched up. Frying pan in kitchen was also scratched up and barely enough utensils available. Breakfast had enough variety and staff were friendly.
- 5/5
This was our first trip taking our dog and so we were pleasantly surprised with our room. Great value and great location! Will stay there again when in the Springs!
- 5/5
The staff is nice, its a beautiful place, excellent rooms very homely
- 1/5
Staff charged me with unauthorized charges
- 5/5
I was traveling with family through Colorado Springs and decided to stay at the Crown Plaza Suites at Garden of the Gods for their 2 bedroom suites.
- 5/5
Nice location and room was very nice.
- 5/5
Clean, comfortable, well maintained, quiet, and away from the Co Springs congestion. LOTS of things to do and see in the area. Not a big selection of restaurants but sufficient. only saw a couple homeless people hanging about once otherwise looked very safe.
- 4/5
Great location. Room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices
- 5/5
Shouts out to miss TOI Taking care of me on my birthday I had a ball this place is awesome
- 5/5
Very nice stay.
- 5/5
I love that the hotel room we stayed in has a newly renovated bathroom and walk-in shower instead of a tub that I personally di not use, and they put refillable body wash, shampoo & conditioner on the shower wall. The beat hair dryer I have seen in a hotel room, too.
