Reviews
The hotel staff is consistently praised for their friendliness and helpfulness. The location is also frequently mentioned as a positive, being convenient and close to stores, restaurants, and highways. However, the rooms and plumbing are often described as dated and in need of updating. Some guests have experienced issues with plumbing, such as toilets not flushing or water pumps being noisy.

Perfectly located with tons of places to eat or shopping needs in case your forgot something. Parking was great. The room was very clean, spacious accommodating. We had 5 people in our party so there was plenty of room. The staff was awesome! Ms. Red was a true ambassador for the Marriott! She provided a wonderful and charming introduction and check in, she consistently checked in on us in case we needed anything and always greeted us whether coming or going. While, I’m a huge fan of Marriott, if they have personnel like Ms. Red at every hotel I would NEVER stay anywhere else!

Rundown and location is sketchy

The suite was perfect for our family vacation. Hot breakfast, spacious suite, pool, gym, and friendly and helpful staff.
- 5/5
The place was clean & had everything we needed.
- 5/5
2nd time here! Indoor pool.
- 5/5
Red was pleasant and made the check in process seamless. Our room was spacious and extremely clean. Facility was spotless, accessible and perfect for our little trip! Mary greeted us at breakfast and made sure we enjoyed our meal! Lauren checked us out with a fast and friendly approach. All staff wanted us to enjoy and thats exactly what we did! Thank you Marriott Residence Inn for a great Stay!
- 5/5
The room was great and cleanly, breakfast was yummy with great healthy options and the front desk staff was so friendly!
- 5/5
The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was great!
- 3/5
The staff at the hotel was exceptional. Attallah was amazing helping us change rooms when we noticed the smell of sewage in the room we checked into. The rooms were overall ok. Linens were old and some were stained. We had to use the pull out couch for our 11 year old and the mattress and bedding were stained. The place served is purpose. Needs an update.

Great staff! Room was spacious (we had the 2 bedroom)

Very clean and quiet. In a great location near food and shopping There was nothing that I didn’t really like. Only thing that I would say is that the location of the indoor pool for night swims need to have tinted windows because people can just watch from outside and you can’t see them.

The staff was very kind, there was a swimming pool and the breakfast was good. Noise from the highway, sofa mattress not comfortable at all.

Outdated.
- 5/5
Our stay was amazing but had to pay an extra $10 of parking everyday to park in a parking lot next to the hotel. I felt this should be included in the stay. Other than that the breakfast was amazing and the rooms very clean and spacious!
- 4/5
It is so comfortable because they have a coat for pickle ball and indoor pool. Pool is a little bit small but it’s ok for kids playing. There is gym and breakfast is so nice!
- 3/5
Bed was comfortable, but the couch wasn’t it was actually really bad Pool was not working for the 3 days we stayed they offer to go across the street to the sister hotel but that it’s really inconvenient
- 2/5
Tv didn't work in bedroom. Couldn't take a bath because the tub stopper wouldn't hold the water. No blow dryer in the room! The front desk doesn't even have one! I think you should be reimbursed when so many things are wrong with a room! If a customer pays 300 for a room it should be in working order! That is as much as I paid for high end hotels! An apology does not cut it. A system for automatic refund should be in place. Perhaps that would make hotels do their jobs and inspect the rooms before they rent them!
- 5/5
The staff was very friendly and accommodating.

My family loved it a lot of options and very nice and organized Maybe a hot tub but everything was great

Convenient location Comfortable bed and pillows

Room 203 needs work. It smells of cat litter. The bottom corner of the bathroom mirror is broken leaving jagged glass where someone could cut them selves badly. The shower curtain bar is hanging by a screw on one side so it hangs down not allowing the curtain to stay closed, curtain slides to the middle of the bar from both sides. The tall lamp top is broken, needs replaced.
- 3.5/5
the breakfast was a typical hotel breakfast - it definitely fit the bill - not a big breakfast eater though - coffee was good highway side of hotel is noisy, ask for opposite side

Great stay

I thought the place could use an updated sofa. Everything else was great. Customer service 10!
- 5/5
This is an older property but the rates are very reasonable. You get a lot for your money at this hotel. Small breakfast in the morning was nice. Nice big seating area by lobby is very nice as well. I needed a late check out as I had a flight to catch in the afternoon and the front desk personnel working the early morning shift took care of us which was great.
- 1/5
They cancel my reservation same day ,I make my reservation with out notice. I arrive to the property i don't have a room to stay bout my credit card have a charge for.1,053.68
- 5/5
I would highly recommend this hotel. The area is great, close to dining, shopping and also the highway if needed; however, it is very quiet. The suites are spacious, very clean, they have a small kitchen, dining and sitting area. They also provide a large desk to work with a fast internet. I would definitely stay at this hotel the next time I'm in Colorado Springs.
- 5/5
My family and I had a great stay, service was great. The place was clean, the pool was great.
- 5/5
All good
- 5/5
All good service
- 5/5
The hotel was amazing besides a group of men trying to get free upgrades even though the rooms they wanted was full and they just wouldn’t leave the staff alone about it
- 3/5
Room/plumbing was dated. Couch was very uncomfortable. Staff was amazing. Location was convenient, close to stores, restaurants, gas stations and highway. Breakfast was good. Hotel definitely shows its age. We will most likely not stay here next visit.
- 5/5
I will be staying here again.
- 5/5
Great stay! Love the large rooms and the wonderful staff! Would definitely book again
- 5/5
The thing I love about Marriott is they have the best trained people who understand they are in the Hospitality Business. No one else even approaches Marriott. It doesn’t matter if you stay at a Ritz Carlton or a Fairfield Inn you will experience an excellent staff focused on making your stay enjoyable.
- 5/5
Definitely staying again.
- 5/5
Property is very clean and staff is very helpful
- 5/5
It was a great night away for me and my wife and we enjoyed it very much!
- 2/5
Toilet didn't flush at check-in. Didn't want to move to another room on another floor so I borrowed a plunger. After a few minutes of working it more or less lazily flushed; there were black metallic scratches in the bowl indicating that it had recently been snaked. Went to bed. Woke up the next morning: no flush, just a lot of swirling water. Went back downstairs, borrowed another plunger, worked on it again until it flushed. Then we checked out. This room should have been blocked rather than renting it; I understood from (undisclosed staff members) that plumbing had been an issue for some time. Desk staff was friendly, apologetic and accommodating throughout.
- 3/5
Room pics look better than actual rooms. Layout was inconvenient for family of 3. There was a problem with internet. On Sunday breakfast service was poor. Overall very average to below average hotel.
- 3/5
Room I was in had a water pump / air conditioning master unit, which was very noisy, and came on throughout the night.
- 3/5
The staff was wonderful. It was easy for us to get to the airport on a shuttle, but the room smelled of do urine. The carpet was filthy.
- 5/5
It was one of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. It was perfect.

Family friendly, great location to activities, and kind staff.
- 5/5
The gentleman at check in was absolutely amazing. He was empathetic and worked with me after a 14 hour drive. I cant tell you how appreciative I am of people like him in the world. We need more of that. Thank you
- 4.5/5
Overall the location was wonderful the room was amazing I would recommend this place to anyone I would stay here again anytime
- 4.5/5
For the price, it is quite dated
- 5/5

It was great for what we needed. My only complaints are that they dont clean very often and when they do, they forget to leave clean towels.
- 5/5

Happy! Nice room, clean, quiet. Great hot breakfast. I loved it and would stay there again if I were in Colorado Springs.
- 5/5
I’ve never had to pay for parking before! 😩👎
- 3/5
The floor was very noisy. It is not good for a family with kids. Got complaint twice :(
- 5/5
The outdoor fire pit and bbq grill. And the indoor swimming pool
- 4/5
We were in Colorado Springs for 2 days and busy with tours and activities so needed a placed to crash. The two-bedroom, 2 bathrooms suite was great for a family of 6. The staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and kids enjoyed it. The hotel is nothing fancy but a good hotel for a family. Location was very central and lots of good food options and a target across the parking lot.
- 4/5
Very convenient for a quick trip. There was a constant roaring noise in our suite it was difficult to sleep and they seem to be trying to save on soap sticks.
- 3/5
The hotel was very noisy. You could hear everything in the room next door. It was also right on the highway. Our room only had one bar of soap. Usually hotels provide soap for the hand sink and one for the bathroom. The hotel looked tired . We paid $230 a night which was a lot and then they charged for parking on top of that. Not impressed at all with this place.
- 4/5
Didn’t know about the parking fee until after I got the receipt. But the room was nice and clean
- 5/5
Staff at reception were exceptional!
- 5/5
We stayed while going to a show at the Broadmoore Arena. This was within walking distance of the event. Many dining options around. A huge movie theater. Awesome rooms with full kitchens, sitting rooms and big bathrooms.
- 1/5
Payed 600$ for a two bedroom suite. Ended up being over booked so I got a lousy two queen bed room and no further consideration for accommodating my needs.
- 3/5
Qe es eso? Solo si les preguntas El hombre en recepción dijo qe si no estábamos completamente vacunados ellos recomenadaban usar mascarilla No vi a nadie usar mascarilla Debo asumir qe todos estaban vacunados ahí?
- 5/5
i especialy enjoyed the size of the 2 bedroom suite and and everything it included. the full kitchen was a pleasant surprise and well organized. clean. there was always a pleasant greeting from the desk for anything i asked or needed. i would highly recommend this hotel and will stay there myself again when i am in town for the zoo.
- 4/5
Everything went good until check out day. We accidentally over slept and when I called to ask for a half hour late check they told me no. with my wife my son and two dogs including me we we were given until 11 am no later to check out. Very rude front desk lady, overall to he hotel was well put together
- 3/5
They over booked the hotel so they tried to move us. We had booked two rooms and one was not ready when we checked in around 4:30.
- 3/5
The breakfast to go was terrible. Also, we had an early checkout and no one was in the front desk. We called the front desk but no one was answering. We also waited in the reception area for about 15 min.
- 4/5
I called the day before to ask about the pool with covid, was told it was CLOSED. Arrived just a bit more then an hour past check in and our room was not ready. Then we were told we could use the pool by reservation! Well since i was told the day before the pool was closed we didn't bring swim suits! Eventually we got to our room. It was nice, clean and comfortable! We expected a fire place but there was not one, so a number but no big deal. We had no ice, which i understand with covid, but after a few hours we still had no ice, and there is no ice machine in the hotel. Eventually they got us some from their kitchen. hen came breakfast, so there's no hot breakfast as described, apparently covid? But there's a table by the front desk set up, you serve your self, touch the doors to the little display..... but are strictly limited to 3 items. You had your choice of a drink, water or milk. Then a small variety of granola bars, apple, a tiny muffin, or a bread item. So i got my water, granola bar and apple.... not exactly the breakfast i had in mind. Also If its all self serve anyway.... why can't you have the regular breakfast available, not really touching anything more..I get it covid has some restrictions, but I've seen this done way better at other places, like a regular hot breakfast with a kitchen attendant serving your breakfast in a to go plate. I should have gone for the place 1/2 the price for the same service, i stepped up $$$ for better service
- 4/5
The property was prefect during our stay. The morning breakfast was not in any way prefect.
- 4/5
Just a little concerned when I recieved someone else's hotel bill at my email address; otherwise enjoyed the stay
- 2/5
I paid $75 for having a pet because they had to do deep cleaning. My bad for not checking this, as the normal charge I have paid is $20. I wish I had a deep cleaning in my room. The couch had food crumbs and the covering was falling off because it was ripped. The bathroom was gross with hair. It was such a nice room it was just trashy and dirty. The service checking in was great as was their security.
- 5/5
We loved that we had the two bedroom suite and there were also two bathrooms. This location also had an electric fireplace in the living room area. Hotel staff were great, even with a “coin shortage” they were able to supply us with change for the laundry facilities. Great location, right next to super Target and a few restaurants.
- 5/5
We are a family of 6 and were in town for the night. Our stay was amazing! Very clean and the staff was awesome! Alexandria helped us and she was incredible. We will definitely stay here again in the future.
- 4/5
We liked the sports court, we played basket ball. The snack store was convenient. Close to alot of good restaurants
- 4/5
I liked that it was conveniently located by many store and restaurants. One thing i didn't like was there was only a couple older sheets and a thin blanket for the sofa bed.
- 5/5
Wonderful staff here. Upon check-in my husband mentioned we were coming from another hotel where we checked out days early due to so many problems we experienced. The staff upgraded us to a 2 bedroom 2 bathroom at no additional charge! The location is fabulous. Everyday walking out we had a beautiful view of the mountains. There is a pond next door with ducks, geese, swans and birds. Also walking distance to Target for snacks and food for the fridge. To be fair, here are a few things that we didn’t love, however they weren’t a huge deal: the fridge, microwave and AC are pretty loud. We had a hard time figuring out which bedroom was the master as the king bed was in the smaller bedroom and had a bathtub shower. Because of this our daughter got the larger room that had a queen bed and nice shower. The beds should be switched around IMO. Lastly the couch and pillows need a cleaning or some fabreeze as they smelled a bit musty. Overall a great place to stay with lots of room for a family and 3 separate tv’s.
- 4/5
Covid 19 only problem. Staff and room comfort very good
- 5/5
Great location and staff was extremely friendly. Rooms were good size for family.
- 5/5
The location, comfort, and a top rate staff. Definitely a great value and worth return visit. The staff at this hotel exceeded expectations.
- 2/5
The front desk folks were nice, the breakfast was great. I specifically booked a suite with one bed and a pull out sofa for myself and a friend for an event we were attending, for 2 nights. My friend needed the bed as she has an issue with her back, so my intent had been to sleep on the pull out. The first night we got back to the room late, the pull out was not made up, I found the sheets but they were too small (for a twin) so I folded the sofa back up and slept on the couch. The 2nd night I asked for right sized sheets and a blanket so I could make up the pull out myself, but when I went to do so I discovered the mattress was almost nothing! It was about 3 inches thick, VERY worn to the point where you could feel the springs! Impossible to lie on, much less sleep on, so folded it up and slept on the couch again. The next morning at check out I expressed my disappointment with the entire pull out experience. I was told that because I booked the room through Expedia, and not directly with the hotel, that all they could do is sign me up for the hotel rewards program and give me "a few extra points" for the stay. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE, I would absolutely expect the hotel to stand behind their product considering I paid for a suite and had to sleep on a COUCH for BOTH nights... no matter how the room was booked. I will never stay at a Marriott again - customer service is EVERYTHING. Very disappointed!
- 5/5
As a family we love these hotels where we can book a 2 room suite. This hotel is nice and in the right area for what we needed. The front desk help was very slow. Our room was nice and very clean. I love being able to get Netflix and other streaming services while staying at Marriott's hotels.
- 3/5
Breakfast was good though and water was super hot for my showers. Not sure I would stay again I was pretty out off by the bugs. I emailed corporate
- 5/5
Thank you for the Christmas Eve upgrade and early check-in!
- 5/5
All the employees were friendly and very helpful. Breakfast was good, hot food and other things to enjoy. I would definitely stay there again if in the area.
- 5/5
Room was very nice and clean. Comfy beds and couch.
- 5/5
It was a very nice room but there's no view of the mountains. The pool isn't facing the mountains either. The staff was ok. They never served bacon or biscuits and gravy or French toast sticks. Just nasty sausage. The tub didn't plug for a bath. Go to the Colorado Springs North location. It's better. This location is NOT friendly.
- 5/5
Relocating with family and Residence in made us feel like home
- 5/5
Just a one night stay passing through on our way home. The room was extra spacious and very comfortable. The king size bed was also very comfortable and the black out curtains were great. And the free breakfast was delicious with a good variety. Would definitely stay here again!
- 1/5
we thought all was great but watch out...they double charged my credit card and won't answer their phone to fix the charge..tisk, tisk, Marriott...how far you have fallen
- 5/5
Beautiful room with great amenities. Lovely renovation. A few things not working like room telephone & elevator but they promised to fix them. Cleaning service did not come until the evening, oddly. You can hear the traffic but the property lawns are lovely, and the hotel is very conveniently located to everything parks, shops, restaurants & highway. For long term guests, the social events and grocery service sound great.
- 5/5
Great hotel....breakfast was amazing....friendly staff.
- 4/5
Breakfast options could have been a little better. Location and convenience to other sight seeing options was great.
- 5/5
Pool and exercise room were great. Loved the breakfast and the food in the evenings. Huge kitchen area in rooms you never have to leave.
- 4/5
Great location to restaurants, shopping and Broadmoor Event Center. The indoor pool was a hit for the kids and the free breakfast buffet was pretty good. Would stay there again.
- 3/5
Very ordinary at luxury price. Nothing updated and prices over $200! Then charged $150 for the dog. Enjoyed a different hotel the next night for $110 and $25 for dog. MUCH nicer and fresh
- 3/5
Hotel was ok to stay in. The rooms were nice and plenty of space for our family, but the hotel pool was so cold our child couldn't swim in it.
- 5/5
Everything was excellent about this property, especially the staff. Kyle was our main contact and he was exceptional in helping us. Was exceptionally personable and helpful which is why I am mentioning him by name.
- 5/5
First time at a residence inn and I do have to say that the rooms were huge. My son was very impressed. The bed was very comfy, I slept very well. Good breakfast friendly staff.
- 4/5
Great hotel and staff. Studio with a king size bed was plently of room for 2. Had an evening social where they sereved food, wine.and beer for free. Really enjoyed our stay.
- 5/5
Just a quick family get-away during the week. We had stayed at this hotel once before and returned because of the good experience we had. Our only complaint this time was that the swimming pool was very cold and it made swimming with our kids a very uncomfortable experience. We appreciated the reception that is offered Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday nights and breakfast was delicious.
- 4/5
I booked the room in a bundle through expedia for 4 nights. I called the hotel directly to see if I could change my arrival date to the following day due to my flight being cancelled and I was told that this would be fine but they still charged me for the night which I did not stay due to something that was out of my control and even though I told them that I would be there the next day and was told that this would be fine, when I arrived, they had cancelled my room.
- 5/5
Great stay ! Professional staff and a well groomed property surrounded by upcoming attractions and vendors.
- 5/5
Everyone made us feel welcomed and at home. Highly recommend.
- 5/5
Overall a very nice place to stay in a convenient area. The bed was on the hard side though and the service was kind of sparse. That said it was still a good value and I would stay there again.
- 4/5
Everything was great with the exception of the breakfast experience. The food display was highly unorganized. The kitchen was open within feet of where you plate your food, so while waiting on them to replenish the eggs, another guest raised a big argument over how they prepared food. It made for a tense breakfast. Put a double swinging door up to stave off such altercations. Evidently they hold different breakfast hours on weekend than they do on weekdays. We were told 6:30-10am when checked in. Went to eat on our final morning (Monday) at 9:30. The breakfast attendant was so very rude to hastily tell me and my two children that breakfast was over. Everything was still out with exception of juices that she'd already put away. I asked if we could please fill our plates with the food she was about to just throw out. She was hesitantly accommodating. Made for a less than pleasant experience. We may stay at another Residence Inn, but not likely this one. It's amazing how one rude person can ruin your whole outlook on an otherwise great visit.
- 4/5
The location and the room were the draw. Mostly, it was a good stay with two exceptions. The breakfast is very poor quality. Use the kitchen in your room instead. My biggest complaint, however, is the responsiveness to keeping the room stocked. Every day the room was serviced, I had to ask the front desk for something that was overlooked whether it was towels, coffee, toilet paper or dish detergent. The routine was the same: tell the front desk, if they had the supply they gave you a replacement, if not, they said they would bring it to the room with a 50/50 chance of someone showing up. Another guest confirmed he has had a similiar experience. I would return, but hope that improvements are made to housekeeping staff.
- 5/5
The room was clean and inviting. Friendly staff. The breakfast was good. The location was easy to get too.
- 5/5
I enjoyed my stay. The staff was friendly and my sweet was clean.
- 4/5
Hair in the shower. Hair hanging from the ceiling in the shower. Broken thermostat.
- 5/5
So clean and comfortable! The space was large and well equipped. We were only there for a night and could have been comfortable there for a week!
- 5/5
Very friendly staff and great location for a business trip or vacation trip
- 5/5
Enjoyed our stay but would recommend extra washer and dryer
- 5/5
The check-in and out process was fast and efficient with courteous staff. The breakfast choices at this hotel were superb with all the little details considered. The king suite had a small kitchen at the same price as most competitors prices without the kitchette. Book it if the discounted rate is available!
- 4/5
We booked a king size bed, got a queen which was uncomfortable for the two of us. Also the room didn't have a hair dryer and it took a bit to get one and I didn't notice until I was out of the shower.
