Quality Inn Colorado Springs Airport

Not worth the money. The hotel is old, the bathroom ventilation was noisy and couldn’t be turned off, and the room smelled of cigarette smoke in the morning because smoke from outside entered through the hallway and the large gap under the door. When I needed to extend my stay, the hotel offered no help, no apology, and no solution. I had to leave and walk to another hotel. Very disappointing experience. ⭐⭐☆☆☆

My stay was comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was disappointing.

We couldn’t get in the building because our key wouldn’t work and then when we got to our room, the TV wouldn’t work then when we went to take a shower, there was no hot water and there was not enough towels in the room and the AC made noise all night and really didn’t get cold in the morning when we left the room to go get breakfast. We could not get back in our room, the key had already been turned off, so it was not a good experience.

Room was clean but older building, still well maintained. There was afrigerator and iron in the room if I had needed to iron my shirts for a meeting. The towels where fresh and clean as was the entire bathroom. 1. There was no shuttle service to the airport, I thought in booking.com there was one listened, minor surprise. Say a sign behind the desk that said they no longer provided a Shuttle service to the airport but not display. The issue for me --- I would assume management or someone who periodically check the booking.com site to see if the information of their hotel is up to date. That is a serious fail for me. 2. Taxi was available, they had a card for one and price was $25.

Staff wouldn't let me eat breakfast with everyone else in the same room because I had a service dog. They said it was their manager's policy. I told them that trying to separate us is segregation, and against the federal law protecting service animals and their handlers. I'm a disabled veteran and have had a veteran organization trained service animal for 8 years and know the law inside and out. They still refused to allow me to eat breakfast in the same room as everyone else. I wish they would give me my money back for the stay plus another free night to make up for the troubles.

The location is cleaned, but definitely could use a deep clean and better patch work done on it. AC was cold, the room was clean, the linen clean, and the restroom clean. The breakfast was what to be expected; scrambled eggs, sausage, waffles, drinks, fruit and muffins. The only think I can say about this is that the room could be better laid out for access to the foods. Unfortunately, standing behind people in order to get around them is never good, since allowing access would help unclutter the area of standing people who are waiting. Parking was ample, and again, the staff was amazing.

The staff was great in all areas, super friendly. There were some hiccups checking in the original room we requested with a king bed had a broken TV, so we had to get checked into a double queen, which was much smaller. However comfortable. The bedding could use some replacing, as the down comforters have visible torn areas in many places. I noticed only blackout drapes, not a sheer present to let daylight in. Overall great experience!!!!

Several food and drink items ran out during their breakfast service and the staff refused to replenish when asked.

The beds were much nicer than expected. They weren’t too hard or too soft. While the property is outdated, it was clean and taken care of. Breakfast had a good variety of food. The pool/hot tub hours were a bit shorter than I expected so plan accordingly.

We got there late in the evening and left early the next morning, so we didn’t have a chance to check out the amenities, but the room was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good.

Staff friendly, property clean and quiet. I was down 30 min before the end of breakfast and nothing was left. Waffle batter empty, no fruit, only a few sausage left from hot options and a couple pieces of bread for toast. My only other option was cold cereal. I asked if there was any refills on items and was told no. Another guest asked if juice was available and was slso told no. Another asked for bananas. They produced 4 which she took. Very disappointing. They should've just closed the doors to the room.

I've stayed at this hotel several times (20 + times) and I am always respectful and clean up before I leave the room. The last time I stayed they wanted a 200 dollar deposit! I will never stay here again.

It didn't have airport shuttle but Uber was cheap. Food was good staff was so friendly.

The property was good. We very much enjoyed the hot tub and the quiet time of being alone in a private room. We are caretakers and it was our anniversary so we were looking for a short. Cheap, comfortable get away. This definitely served our needs.

Found a bed bug in our bed :( we had no choice besides to switch rooms considering it was too late in the night, the lady at the front desk was helpful and apologetic though.

Hot tub was not warm enough or bubbling. Tv was not working in the first room we were assigned. The room we got moved too was not to our standards. The floor was dirty with seeds and crumbs on the ground by the beds and the desk was sticky with syrup. The carpet was ugly and had stains. We were unhappy with our room.

the nice Asian lady at the front desk is very nice and friendly makes me laugh every time I stay there.

Hotel was fine but the room faced a local convenience store where loud subwoofer music was playing until around 3AM

Stayed 1 night in 2-queen room. The front desk attendant was not very welcoming, never saw a smile, just a serious look. Bathroom sink would clog immediately upon use. Couch pillows were gross/stained all over. Asked for extra bed pillows, said could not accommodate. Grab & go breakfast starts 4am…what’s the point if you can’t provide for those folks having to head to airport earlier than that?

They had a guy in the room. Gave me keys to the same room. He was there. The front desk was not aware. How can that be? They had security cameras. Two weew blacked out. Guess which one. The one to that same room. I left.

The window in our room was broken so it wouldn't lock. Luckily we were on the second floor so it wasn't as big of a security issue. In general, it needs some general maintenance. OK for cleanliness but needs new carpet. Breakfast was pretty good. Comfortable bed. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This Quality Inn is the best motel value in Colorado Springs. I travel here often and most rooms priced in this range are not very nice. This place is clean, newer and the help is great.

Our stay was pleasant.

Took changing three rooms before finding one without moldy smell. Front desk lady was very helpful in this. The tv did not work in the room that I finally settled in. Hotel is generally clean and well kept, but rooms on this visit weren’t great.

Found a cockroach in the room, took photos of it used some toilet paper and brought it to the front desk and they couldnt even get rid of it because they were afraid of it. So asked for a refund or discount and after a week so far no discount or refund and the manager knew. So didnt even want to have their continental breakfast because where you see one roach there has to be more.

This place was terrible I didn’t feel safe I was there staying with my daughter and someone kept knocking at my door all night long didn’t know who was knocking there was also lots of stains in the carpet and the room smelled bad also the ac wasn’t working the tv wasn’t working and the bathroom was dirty.I will never stay here again I left the next morning at 5 am didn’t want to be there any longer.

The rooms are very clean and orderly. No problems with any of the amenities and the staff was very friendly. The only reason for the four star review was that the TV was really small and only carried the very basic cable channels.

The walls don't block out neighbors noise. The couple next door was noisy until 11. The microwave turntable was broken and ruined dinner, the refrigerator was super noisy, the bed creeked every time i moved, and the heater sounded like an airplane engine. I'm ysually ok with one or two ofthise, but at this motel i hit the worst of the worst.

This is a very nice motel. I enjoyed my stay and received very good service. Brenda on the weekend shift was especially helpful with access and room set up. The housekeeping and breakfast staff were very efficient and friendly. I enjoyed the pool and spa.

But decent easy location to get to the airport

The airport shuttle shows available on the website. When I called to get picked up they told me the shuttle has limited hours 6am-8pm. Of course my flight landed at 8:15pm and I flew back out at 5:05am. So if I had known that prior to booking I wouldn’t have stayed at this location. False advertising!!!

This place has some big time issues . After checking in to the room we had noticed our room had no microwave or fridge my friend is 22 weeks pregnant and we needed the fridge keep meds cool so after asking the front desk for a different room they refused and just kicked us out . Worst service I’ve ever had to deal with the lady behind the counter has some real serious issues . The place should be shut down

Breakfast was limited. No Potato/hash brown options. Two types of sausage but no bacon. Only warmed cheese omelettes, no scrambled, or boiled (hot or cold).

Staff was nice. Hotel was clean. Did see 2 roaches. Everything worked in room, however some things need attention. Paint, curtains, countertops, desk table and heater. Pool and hottub was clean and working. Had a extremely loud guest above us for 1 night. Overall we had a nice stay. Exterminate needed.

I have always loved this Quality Inn and this day was no different. Check-in was very friendly the room was very clean and comfortable. The only issue I experienced was the blow dryer didn't work so i just went to the front desk they loaned me one and I took it right back . They even notated in my checkout that the room required maintenance for the blow dryer. I get to stay at this location approximately five times a year and I have no qualms with it. Very good experiences always Quality Inn thank you!

Very clean when you came into hotel. Hallways were a bit worn. Staff was great; courteous and welcoming. I was asked if I had a preference on which floor I would like to on, which was a plus. The bed was quite comfortable and the bathroom was clean.

The staff here were very attentive and knowledgeable. Anything I asked of or for, they took care of without even batting an eye. I really enjoyed my stay, and they helped ease a lot of stress associated with my trip.

In the breakfast room, the utencils were jammed so tight in their containers we worked hard to get one out. However, our stay was nice and all the staff was friendly and helpful.

Nice pool and hot tub... had them to myself both days i stayed. Breakfast was meh. Front counter lady was very professional and standoffish...said very little (English not great).The building immaculately cleaned. Bed extremely comfy. But the place itself is near the airport so don't try walking anywhere... run down area, very industrial, nothing to walk to. If you just stay for the night before a flight, it's fine though...just don't go out.

A reasonable place. Has what it needs for the period of time I was there. Nothing glamorous. The staff was quick to help. A bit tough to get to if NOT coming from the airport.

I needed to wipe off the desk and they had no cleaning products on site. I was so offended by this... i made a recording a d told them I was recording and i would be reporting them to the state if they couldnt prove they had chemicals on site to disinfect and clean rooms. At the front desk the employee spoke english. At the maid cart. Only spanish. She acted like she couldnt understand me when she couldnt prove they are cleaning with proper cleaners. They showed me glass cleaner..

Stayed for our oft own construction work and I get up very early so the quietness was perfect. It was convenient to my work site which was a plus.

Breakfast staff closed early, not real friendly. Beds comfortable. Breakfast of powdered eggs, sausage links..not great but not horrible.

Hotel is in need of an update, but the beds were in the worst shape I have seen in years. One had a big hole where you sit near the edge, the springs had completely failed. The other was very lumpy.

The Quality Inn needs a face-lift and an elevator. While the location is good for an early flight, the carpet, the room decor, etc needs updating. Front desk staff had to be called to the front desk from a back room where they were constantly on personal calls.

Tv, very hard to set up they give you two remotes and then you have to try to get the one remote to go to HDMI so you can get any type of TV other than the word channels. The air conditioning is very poor in the room smell very damp. The worst part is we get up in the morning and the bathtub in one of the rooms won’t drain. Same room had issues flushing the toilet. The area surrounding the hotel is very unkept kind of feels unsafe with abandon furniture and trash.

My stay here was brief. When I arrived there was no parking along the front of the property. So I parked behind the building but the building can't be accessed from the back without a room key. It was a bit on a walk on uneven road to go around to the front of the building. Once I make my way to the front door I'm greeted by at least a dozen people, many who are smoking. The water temp in the shower was luke warm. Very disappointing. Otherwise, my room was ok. Staff was professional. I didn't have breakfast there. However, as I was departing I asked the employee if there was coffee in the coffee pot in the lobby. He said yes. Of-course, the pot was empty.

My kids loved the indoor pool and hot tub. Also they had a lot of options for breakast. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Unfortunately the smoking area is right in front of the entrance. Most times there was someone smoking during the days we were there. If you have mobility issues, be advised that there are no elevators for the 2nd floor.

Nice stay

Our stay was adequate. The room was clean and had everything that we needed. The beds and pillows were fine. The walls were thin and we could hear everything in the halls and the room next door had two large dogs that barked constantly when the owners were gone for a late dinner or when they were getting ready to go for a walk. I don't know why people need to travel with their dogs, but I don't want to hear their dogs, especially at night when people are trying to sleep.

Stay was good! Quick check in! Didnt have to wait a long for staff to show up. Room was very spacious! My 1 year old had plenty of room to run around! Why would you put the animal rooms next to the pool, where people are in and out and loud - with reactive dogs that was not fun. The floors were sticky and the staff wasn’t very friendly.

Room was awesome and the front desk was very helpful. Comfortable bed and would stay there again.

This hotel checked our boxes: fridge, microwave, hot breakfast, working pool & hot tub. However, the room was less than amazing. Bathroom door never latched. Shower curtain rod was broken so the curtain would t stay closed. Water would then get all over the floor. Many stains on the floor. Our keys stopped working numerous times. Bed was less than comfortable. Overall, this hotel provided us with what we needed, but lacked in many areas.

Excellent all round, but a restaurant facility would have improved matters for me

I'm 70 years old and they put me in a room on the second floor with no elevator. How can you have a two story facility with no elevator for the customers.

Parking was terrible. All spaces were full and couldn't find a spot. Excellent service and good breakfast though.

The hotel was good and rooms were clean and the housekeeping staff were very nice and helpful. Breakfast was great, had some good options. Pool was nice and clean, the hot tub did smell like bleach but it was still pretty good

I traveled to Colorado for medical reasons, and was given a room on the 2nd floor. They dont have elevators! I was getting a surgical procedure and can't walk up 2 flights of stairs. I've never stayed at a hotel where there's no elevators, its not even in the description. So, I asked for a room on the 1st floor, there was only 1 available. Upon entering my room, I was hit in the face with such a foul musty odor, and the room was really hot, the air was not on. It was fairly gross. Everything looked clean, the bed was nice. I opened the window a bit and turned on the air to let the smell out thinking, maybe the room has just been closed off for a while? I proceed to unpack and put stuff away, I sit on the floor real quick to put stuff into the fridge, and noticed that my butt was wet once I stood up. Weird! I touched the carpet with my hands, and the entire carpet throughout the room was damp and pretty wet in some places. Thats where the smell was coming from! I go out to the front desk and said the floor was wet and that it smelled pretty bad. I was told it was shampooed 3 days prior and to open the window. I asked for a different room, there was none available. So I sucked it up, hoping the smell would dissipate. I went to read a book in the lobby. After 2 hours or so, I returned to the room to find a HUGE beetle of some sort in the bed!! The window was open, but a screen was in place. Needless to say, I left and went to another Hotel in the area.
