Reviews
The hotel reviews indicate a general sentiment of dissatisfaction with cleanliness, maintenance, and service. Many guests reported issues with dirty rooms, broken fixtures, and poor customer service.
- Convenient location
- Affordable price
- Lack of cleanliness
- Poor maintenance and damaged furniture

Booked a room, went to check in and the front desk woman said they over booked and canceled my room. They never sent me an email or notified me in any way buy still charged my card
- 1/5
not great. staff was barely helpful and place was not super clean. felt very icky
- 4/5
Close just about everything you would ever need.
- 3/5
Location was great for Garden of the God's. Easy to get to and exit the parking lot. Plenty of parking.
- 1/5
Our room was dirty. The bathroom was nasty! The girl at the front counter was on a personal call talking in a foreign language, while checking us in. She barely said 2 words to us. She more into her personal phone call, than helping us. She gave us our key cards and room number and went back to her phone call. Didn’t even tell us where our room was, just the number. Didn’t explain breakfast times, like most people do. I drove around the building twice before finding our room. Breakfast was a joke. No juice, no water, no coffee. They had waffle batter that came out as slow as molasses and burned. You can hear the outside traffic on Garden Of The Gods rd and traffic from I-25. Bring earplugs if you want to get a good nights sleep. Definitely NOT staying here again.
- 1/5
This not recommended for out of town travelers.
- 1/5
The room was outdated. Nothing was clean proper things were broken in the room. This hotel is nothing like the advertise.
- 2/5
Would not return but if you're on an extreme budget it would be for you.
- 3/5
It’s ok. No room service on daily basis to clean rooms. Breakfast was ok. Everything we have to collect from the front office. I would suggest if you come to Colorado make sure they can provide daily room service. Only thing that’s was good that staff was cooperative and pleasant.
- 1/5
Our room was dirty and smelled like smoke. Sheets and pillows piled in the floor looked like the housekeeper had quit in the middle of cleaning. Fortunately, the manager quickly agreed to cancel our reservation, though.
- 0.5/5
The room was filthy; it had no waste baskets; it had no cups (even though a coffee maker was in the room); and a light in the bathroom did not turn off, preventing sleep. When we asked to change rooms we were told the motel was filled, but that's a lie.
- 2/5
When we got to the hotel room the bed had stains on it. The tub has an air bubble in the floor. We were gone for a day we stayed for 4 nights they went into room to “clean” all they did was take my snacks and replace the trash there was trash that wasn’t on the floor then on the floor and they went through our bags my wife is diabetic and can’t be missing her medication. They then denied going through our bags and left the room a mess replacing the bedding we were already using with bedding that had green stains on them. They were rude during check out having an attitude the whole time.

Nothing!! that facility had a lot of homeless leaving in the parking lot and it was not safe to walk around. You can hear mice between the walls and a lot of chaos at night. They also have plumbing issues.
- 1/5
The room itself had several maintenance issues. The vanity light didn’t work, forcing us to rely on the shower light just to see. Housekeeping was also nonexistent. No one came to clean the room, empty the trash, replace towels, or make the beds during our stay. I brought these issues to the attention of the front desk, but nothing was done to resolve them. On top of everything else, the bathtub had questionable stains that were very concerning. Overall, this was a very unpleasant experience. We will never stay here again, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.
- 1/5
Horrible place very dirty rooms and the elevator doesn’t not work made reservation for 4 nights only ended up staying 1 night. Very surprised being a La Quinta and for it to be in those conditions
- 1/5
I had a reservation - but when I got there at 9:00 the lobby doors were locked. A note on the door said no more rooms. I was not contacted in any way to learn that my room had been cancelled. No efforts were made at all to get me into a different La Quinta or anything. I am still waiting for my refund.

I liked the place, looking forward to go back again.

It was right by Pikes Peaka and Garden of the Gods. Dirty towels, no toilet paper, requested both and never got any. Had to purchase own. Bathroom had mold, shower did not hold temp so went from freezing to scolding during showers, staff rude and not responsive. No housekeeping. Stayed for 3 nights. By far worst place I have stayed in over 10 years.
- 1.5/5
There was a domestic violence situation and a woman on drugs rolling around in the courtyard. Strange people knocking on the door in the middle of the night.
- 1/5
The location was convenient. Loud noises like barking dogs and children running down the walkways, transient population loitering in parking lot and elevator was not working so we had to climb 3 flights of stairs. The third floor elevator door was blocked by a mattress and box spring. The outdoor pool has weeds growing around it and the cover has been on since the last time we visited a year ago. Then the hotel charged the $100.00 "incidental fee" to my card TWICE so I ended up paying three times the price of the room and my bank account is empty. Then we saw the transient person sleeping on the lawn as we drove out past the Mexican restaurant next door. DO NOT STAY HERE.
- 3/5
Lots of sketchy people living there. Rude night staff. Parking lot is a very poor condition. The images on the website do not match how the establishment looks
- 1/5
This was by far the worst hotel experience we've had of all the hotels booked with Expedia. We waited an hour past check in for one of our two rooms, we had no hot water in one room, breakfast was a joke. There was nothing to eat except waffles and cereals without milk. The coffee, toast/bread, milk were completely empty and no supervision of the area was maintained. The juice machine was broken/empty and there wasn't even water. When we brought this to the attention if the front desk he had no plan to fix or refill anything at 830....with 1.5 hours left in breakfast. When I pressed, he left...got one loaf of bread which he dumped into the bread box. He said he could get more milk if anyone wanted. We had 4 people in our group that had not eaten and several other guests trying to figure out what to eat and drink. While I did not expect white glove service at a less expensive hotel, I expected what I paid for. A clean comfortable room and a continental breakfast. I got neither. I had to take my party out and spend an additional $100 on breakfast. I will be connecting with La Quienta.

Nothing. The room was smelly. The pavements were not well-maintained. The bed was squeeky. When I turned on the AC, there was a foul smell too. It smelled like musky or moldy, I don't even know but it smelled bad. There was a ball of hair next to the TV stand. Lights were not bright enough so room was dimly lit. Reviews from the past 2 months was concerning. We ended up cancelling our booking after inspecting our room for around 30min.

We tried to check in and no one was at the front desk. We came back an hour later and we got our room. It smelled of smoking, so we got another room. The bathroom had hair all over it and some kind of stain on the wall. Don't recomend staying here. It also seemed like a shady part of town.

Properly bad over all, breakfast terrible,
- 1/5
We walked into the room, bath tub was dirty, the mattress and linens were stained and dirty, and the water in the bathroom was hardly warm, certainly not hot. I have stayed at other La Quinta hotels, and all of them were lovely. We did not want to stay at such a sub-par room, and we left. The woman at the front desk said she would cancel the reservation, but Expedia has not refunded my money, and that was ten days ago.

Terrible place Dirty, no towels(2) others had none, , bad door locks, Smoke smell in room, no blow dryer in this place, pool and all the pictures were a lie Needs to be Condemned. Car was there the next morning. Will not be staying at these places again it looked good in the picture!!!!!!!!!

This hotel was terrible It the front desk staff was completely ignorant and argumentative as well as inefficient they do not accommodate they also will not address any issues. I got to the hotel and during my check-in they informed me of the $100 incidental which I paid and then went to my room and found a big saggy leak in the paint that could have popped it any minute. The toilet hardly flushed. The room wasn't very clean I went and informed the staff of the cover over the smoke detector as well as the leak in the wall and they said that they would address it but never did. I arrived on Friday night and went to breakfast on Saturday morninh and it was the weakest, sorriest breakfast I've ever seen, especially for a La Quinta which are typically nice hotels for budget friendly stay. They ran out of waffle batter when I got to the front of the line which was three people deep and when I asked the staff to get some more he grunted went and made some more came back with it set it down on the counter and it proceeded to start flowing out of the container and all over the counter. When I informed the staff member of it he just said yeah it does that and walked off. He didn't clean it up, didn't do anything so I left it alone. The coffee creamer that they put out for the coffee was spoiled and chunky and there was no ice machine. When I asked about the ice machines they told me that they Don't work because the homeless people around the hotel take all of the ice which there were

Desk clerk was very rude, good luck on this one

Poor. DO NOT Book. AC unit was making crazy noise, just in backyard train tracks and whole night many goods trains was passing by and constant noise. Lastly breakfast was closed before designated time. Staff not cooperative.

- 1/5
Avoid if at all possible. Water seeps under floor…TV doesn’t work…..toilet doesn’t flush…..homeless people sleep on steps and beg for money. This place should be condemned.
- 1/5
Rooms dirty, breakfast is a joke, druggies and homeless roaming all around property. Never again.
- 1/5
Management was terrible
- 3/5
there is no hot water basically. zero amenities. lot of homeless people outside. when asked for a vending machine she told me to go to gas station next door..

Safe 💯
- 1/5
The exterior of the building was in absolute shambles that rust was everywhere, even on the broken concrete steps. The convenient breakfast was also terrible with little to no better options, just cereal, toast and waffles. The juice machine was out of order just like the elevators on site that’s been out of order for months. Our room was somewhat clean but there were spots of unclean areas. The ac unit, lights, tv, fridge and microwave did work. I did have hot water in the bathroom. There was plenty of parking and its location is very convenient to the highway. If you want to stay somewhere cheap and close to the highway, okay here. But if you are staying in a multi days trip, go somewhere else.

The room was adequate. The shower had no pressure or hot water.
- 1/5
No hot water Left the hotel after 2 hours
- 2/5
La Quinta should be ashamed. Corporate is obviously never been there. It was filthy outside my room. I never seen so many cigarette butts trash everywhere. The breakfast was pathetic. The juice machine didn’t work. There was horrible coffee with no creamer either dry or wet dry bagels and toast with fake butter nothing else and the worst was probably the dry cereal with no milk. It served its purpose for me while I was in town as a bed to sleep in, but I will never use that location again. La Quinta could definitely be better.
- 5/5
Clean, loved the decor, lovely Breakfast and decor.😁👍
- 3/5
The room was clean, there was a small leak in bathroom ceiling. Told front desk and it was taken care of. The staff was nice, but didn't seem to really know what was happening. All in all i would stay here again.
- 1/5
We were kicked out saying we looked like someone else and told me had to leave
- 1/5
When i tried to check in, no one was at the front desk at least 15 minutes, we felt unsafe there, had a homeless guy trying to come up to us while parking, the place smelled bad. Dirty shower, overall it didnt meet our expectations, when we checked out, no one was in the lobby again, we checked out within 15 minutes and cbecked into another hotel and i called and told them i needed a refund!
- 1/5
If i could give 0 stars i would. This was a nasty, loud, elevator smelled like urine, horrible hotel. Ive stayed in la quinta by wyndham and it has been wayy nicer. I was very disappointed. Even the breakfast was not as much. Only waffles and cereal. The other had eggs and sausage as well as waffles and bagels and toast and all. Do better Garden of the Gods
- 1/5
Guy at the front desk was rude and tried to overcharge us
- 1/5
Negative stars if possible—this place needs shutting down! Room was disgustingly filthy: bathtub with trapped water underneath, feeling like stepping on a gallon jug in the shower; clogged drains; water under floorboards; mold everywhere, esp. behind toilet & floor linings—stunk of mildew. Bedroom: stained dump-salvaged mattress, one lightbulb, freezing cold (ran heater constantly). Yellowish stains on sheets/towels; reviews warn of bedbugs—infestation vibes. Outside: 3+ inches of ice covering the roads/parking lot—very unsafe! No one salting or shoveling, total neglect. Staff nightmare: Indians disrespectful in person & on phone, making visit atrocious. Service animals (documented), but they withheld deposit claiming fake pee on bed, blamed pets (no accidents). Self-setup room; empty desk; rude excuses like “hours to clean” to scam money. Avoid this scam-hole! Better spots in CO Springs. Condemn it!
- 1/5
Nasty run down place with a lot of homeless people around. Mold growing on ceiling and smoke detector was beeping the whole stay
- 3/5
Comfortable bed. Cleanish room. Weird layout with a tiny bathroom. Terrible breakfast. Overall just kind of meh.
- 5/5
Very nice
- 2/5
A lot went wrong: it was 5 degrees outside and the heat in my room didnt work. The manager did give me his dpace heater but my room only got to 60 degrees at night. No extra blanket. I asked for a credit of that night but they wouldnt credut the whole night. Then there was no hot water in the room. I had to flush the toiket to guve me one minute of warmth so im showering and dlushing thr toilet intermittently.. it was such a joke.
- 1/5
Don't stay here. Neglected and deferred maintenance of the entire hotel. Dirty rooms because the they're stingy and under staff and exploit workers. I picked this place because it's close to Garden of the Gods, but I regretted it. I asked for a different room since mine was dirty, but the front desk was rude and said she was short staffed and I could leave if I didn't like it. I left but haven't seen a refund. In addition to all you this, the place looked sketchy. Also they lie about having breakfast.
- 5/5
Staff yelled at me and my service Dog
- 5/5
The staff here is very helpful and attentive to your needs. The rooms are always clean as well as the lobby. They attend the desk 24 hours and they always come right out to help you . Very nice play to stay.
- 1/5
The second room I was given on the second day, room 203, was a little better but there was a putrefying smell coming out of the bathtub drain. The grounds are disgusting and the breakfast was ridiculous. No food and coffee cups were styrofoam. Styrofoam is toxic to the body anytime especially when heated. The hotel needs to demolished and rebuilt or made into a parking lot.
- 1/5
Room fine, dry cereal, just plain stupid. Nobody likes their cereal without sugar and milk and cold cereal.if if available I’m going back to my room something to put it into my desire. I suggest large Ziploc bags that kind of go to the medium size and I bet you will need more offered. If I’m really hungry when I wake up, I would like to add something I can pour into a bowl pour milk on it with the nut sugar to get by and you never failed to provide sugar. I hope you have a nice day after that and talk to your speak with your staff about providing sugar make sure you have everything. I’ve suggested not demanding I think you would make our day a lot more pleasant thank you
- 1/5
Initial room wasn’t ready. The second room bed, bathroom wasn’t clean. Toilet didn’t flush and sink was leaking.
- 2/5
Cleaness in room was not good. AC heater was not working for one of the room. Breakfast options was very limited.
- 2/5
There's a reason this hotel is half the price of other La Quinta's...because it's in terrible condition. Not sure how this location even holds the La Quinta name. Hallways smell like urine, ice machine doesn't work, tv had been broken, and the overall lack of cleanliness.
- 1/5
No trash cans in the rooms, breakfast is empty all 3 hours, the guy at front desk acts like he doesn’t understand so will not help. The lady from room service that stack breakfast bar is so rude with bad attitude.
- 4/5
Great staff you get what you pay for Rooms are clean, minor issues Shower would not maintain the temperature you set it at and fridge would make a really load sound overall Friendly staff clean rooms and easy access to your room has breakfast but didnt get a chance to try it

Amazing service and rates
- 1/5
I wasn't able to get the room because I was informed about the registered services dogs fees, and it's supposed to be cancelled but The front desk clerk didn't and Changed ME!! Not VERY HAPPY WITH THAT!!
- 3/5
The staff was friendly. The room was okay. The only thing I didn't understand was a $100 security deposit. I feel like that is a little steep for the quality of the place. Especially when there's not a single item in that room that would cost over $25 to replace. I stay at hyatts and Hilton's, and their security deposits are $50 at most.
- 5/5
The staff is kind and accommodating. It is a clean room.
- 2/5
Fight outside my door at 2 am. No hot water. Low water pressure. No breakfast really. 2 toast and 2 bagels but no cream cheese. Juice was good though. You get what you pay for. Was stuck in a snow storm. Also deposit of 100 that I have not gotten back yet 2 days later.
- 5/5
Staff is impeccable;
- 5/5
Staff is amazing!
- 1/5
Hot water was not guaranteed-I had to contact the front desk twice regarding no hot bath water. The room door locks didn't seem secure-laundry facilities were not operational-the coffee tasted good twice after which it had a watered down taste without flavor. This property does not live up to La Quinta standards.
- 1/5
Waffles are to be available as breakfast but they had no mix. Had to exchange towels for clean ones. Was told if the towels didn’t come clean I would be charged for new ones. The towels came clean but instead of being charged for towels, we were accused of breaking a sink and lost our $100 deposit. Never will I go there again.
- 5/5
Great stay

The Staff!!!!!!!! The on duty Manager allowed the Housekeeper to be Very Rude and disrespectful to me to the point that she made me Cry and i have never been treated like this at any Hotel Ive ever stayed at I would never recommend any of my friends or family to stay here it is by far the worst Hotel I’ve ever stayed at in my life i will never stay here ever again

Manager was very rude saying I'm a liar saying I was going into 132 when we were in 125 saying that I had two rooms or something very unprofessional felt like in the hostile environment overall not a very good stay
- 2/5
The place is really run down. Water pressure low, warm but not hot water, I saw no fire suppression systems in the room, elevator did work, homeless in the lobby, and a staff that didn't know how to even enter my rewards number.
- 1/5
Room was dirty, horrible tile path in bathroom, day staff was rude and unhelpful, breakfast was dismal and have yet to have my deposit returned to me.

The tub in the room looked like it wasn’t cleaned. The room was never serviced be whole time we stayed there. The lack of communication at checkout and check in was disappointing. They acted like they didn’t understand me.

We had a nice big room, but it seems it was not cleaned entirely before we entered. The staff are fantastic, it is not noisy, and plenty of parking, close to everything.
- 2/5
Did not have breakfast.
- 5/5
Quiet area, room was clean, staff was nice. Would recommend more breakfast options but otherwise really good value and price.
- 5/5
Great stay!
- 4/5
Neil the manager was nice and helpful.
- 2/5
There were sketchy people in the parking lot when I arrived. As a single traveler I don’t typically feel unsafe staying places and I did here. The room was filthy and smelled like cigarettes even though it was a non smoking room and there were burns on the furniture and overall building is decrepit and unkempt.
- 3/5
Did not care for this hotel much. The person that was checking us in seemed confused about how the rooms were laid out. We were too once we got a room as the even numbers were actually behind the odd numbers, so the signs were misleading. Also did not like that the elevators were outside and there was no hot water that night.
- 1/5
I departed on the first day due to the fact that there were bugs in the bed. For Expedia to have this on their site is ridiculous.
- 1/5
Tried to extend my stay, attempted to pay 3 times. . They kept telling me to come back and the lady at the desk kept trying to pressure me to pay in cash for some reason. They tried to charge me twice for the security deposit and were extremely hostile to me when I said I couldn't afford to pay it twice. Horrible experience. Felt extremely unwelcome even before this and was treated terribly.
- 1/5
Didn't eat
- 4/5
Room was clean. The coverlets on the beds were either stained or dirty with what looked like blood. The bathtub needs to be refinished as the surface was worn and black in spots. The ceiling had mold growing in corners
- 2/5
No hot water. Breakfast was Continental. Homeless people living by the dumpster.
- 1/5
Walls are thin you hear every domestic fight , lots of people that look homeless Wasn’t sure where I booked that this is what I paid for. Tubs are nasty so don’t shower they don’t offer toothpaste. Good luck
- 5/5
LOVE THE STAFF!!!
- 3/5
Our room wasn’t very clean, but the location is convenient. The staff was nice. It’s located in a good area and has plenty of restaurants and shopping options within a 10 minute drive.
- 1/5
First night we were given a room that hadn’t been cleaned, notified the front desk and they moved us from a king room to a double room. The double room they moved us to had an active customer in it which made us uncomfortable about hotel policies. Front desk associate moved us to another double bed room, and told us the next day we would get a King. No discounts offered or apologies, will not stay here again.
- 1/5
Vinyl flooring coming up in room. Electrical receptacle coming out of the wall. No soap, shampoo or lotion. Only 1 washcloth. Outside walk way had dog poop all over the roads. Motorcycles going thru all night
- 2/5
Terrible area to stay. The room is a mess. Not recommended to anyone.
- 5/5
Love the staff!!
- 5/5

2.Lift was stinking terribly 3.The hotel property wasn’t clean such as stairways, Lobby 4. Breakfast options were very limited 5.Water wasn’t flushing properly in the commode
- 2/5
The whole thing needs some repair and painting
- 1/5
The first room was nevwr cleaned bedding strooned all over the room. Smelled like someone was currently smoking. Got a second room bathroom was gross with cigarette burns all over. Bed was uncomfortable. Someone was knocking on my door at 2:30 am and there were a lot of sketchy people outside. I could not sleep at all and ended up checking out early.
- 2/5
This was such a let down. The first room we had didn’t have a lock on the door. We moved to a new room and this one was flooded and smelled bad.
- 3/5
Immediately noticed nasty stain on bed cover. Had them change entire linens. Inaccessible # of electrical outlets for seniors to reach for charging phone & hearing aids. 1 light was missing around bathroom mirror. The only comfortable place to watch tv was on the bed. Only 2 chairs. Both very uncomfortable. Floor needed mopping. I always wear white socks; now very dirty. Breakfast needs improvement. Only instant oatmeal or waffle for hot breakfast. Selection very limited. Wyndham needs to do better. La Quintas we've stay at previously were always very nice with full hot breakfadt (scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, buscuits, etc.). We won't stay there again.
- 5/5
The staff at La Quinta Inn were very helpful and positive, which made check-in a breeze. The property itself could use a little updating, and while the area felt a bit sketchy, I never saw anything concerning. The main issue was being woken up by the cleaning crew pushing their carts back and forth over and over—it was surprisingly loud and made it tough to rest. For a quick overnight stay, it works fine, but for more than one night, I’d hope for quieter mornings.
- 1/5
We sent employees to Colorado Springs to work for 3 days and selected this La Quinta due to past reviews. The employees advised that the elevator did not work, the TV in one of the rooms did not work and when they requested a replacement were advised that nobody there could replace or repair it. The front desk required that towels be brought down for new clean ones as they would not be performing housekeepng during the stay. We send employees on travel weekly and will never have them stay at this facility again.
- 3/5
It was fine. One of the lights were broke and the breakfast was bad
- 2/5
Seems as the website photos are extremely old. Outer facade in person looked old and unkempt, some of exterior concrete stairs were crumbley. The rooms were a lot smaller than led to believe from photos. The shower would not maintain a constant temperature without constant adjustment. The floors looked clean but if you walk barefoot then the souls of your feet end up turning black.

Good location for site seeing. Convenient to interstate highway.

The elevator was broken. The guy that checked us in didn’t even inform us. We had to carry all our luggage up to the third floor
- 3/5
We booked and paid for non smoking king and received a double bed room. The staff was fine, but ultimately, we were not satisfied.

First, i got to hotel about 1 hour before check in and desk clerk said check in is at 3pm. I went back at 3:15 and my room was not ready. So i sat in my car till 3:30 and checked back in and my room still was not ready. At 3: 40 the clerk came out to my car and said i could check in now. So much for your 3pm check in time. The shower is not high enough for a 6 foot tall person. You have to bend over forward to wash you hair instead of bending backwards.
- 2/5
Room was not ready at check in. Had to wait hours
- 3/5
Overall decent. For two bed room, one bed frame is not stable and feel unsafe.
- 4/5
Nice enough, based on price it was better than I expected.
- 5/5
Great place to stay very clean and people that work here are so nice!!!! Highly recommended!!!
- 5/5
They are really great here!!

Shower was cold, bed squeaked and toilet took several times to flush. Continental breakfast was limited items and staff not helpful.
- 1/5
Bathtub was filthy. Wouldn't have used it for a dog. Elevator not working so had to carry all bags upstairs.
- 4/5
Affordable and close to the facilities we came to visit.
- 4/5
Very clean room. Parking is easy and free. Don’t rely on wake-up call since I never got it.
- 5/5
Everyone was very cool and polite

1) The rooms are almost clean, but the floors are filthy. We had to wash our feet every night before going to bed because they were black from the dirty floors. 2) Our keycards had to be reprogrammed every evening because they didn't work after we returned for the night. 3) Homeless people frequent the property during the day and smoke in the non-smoking areas and come in and eat the breakfast items. They also yell/fight at 3am over who's turf it is. 4) The breakfast bar is nothing more than weak coffee, juice, cereal, and bread/bagels. The toaster only works on one side and it's so full of crumbs it literally smokes because stuff catches fire inside. 5) The microwave in our room was an old over-the-range model that had a broken turntable, so nothing heated properly. The refrigerator was set on 1, but still froze everything in it. 6) The shower curtain was thin cloth that let most of the water out of the tub and the toilet wouldn't flush unless you held the handle down for at least a minute to fill the bowl with water.

Great property but the AC leaked
- 3/5
The place is definitely showing it's age and could use a makeover. Neither of the two ice machines were working and hadn't been for some time. The location is fairly convenient to fast food dining but the area around the hotel was mostly businesses. We will stay elsewhere the next time we visit.

Not worth the money. Leaking ceiling in bathroom. Inconsistent temperature in shower. Moldy bathroom. In room coffee maker broken. Door locks broken.

Pet friendly and cozy

Extremely rude staff at check-in dirty facility high crime lots of homeless would not ever stay here again nor would I recommend

The room and the service was bad I won’t get a room from this company again, one of the worst hotels I stayed
- 1/5
Tv wouldn’t work and bathroom was disgusting so they moved us rooms and the bathroom was still disgusting we had to go buy some comet to clean the bathtub before our son took a bath
- 4/5
my deposit back was a two day ordeal. Only the manager can give deposits back
- 3/5
We asked for a complimentary 1 pm check out and it was granted online. We then received a call from the front desk telling us they couldn't do it. After speaking with them, they let us do it but right after 12, they reset our tv which we found to be annoying but other than that, our stay was good. The best part about it was the Mexican restaurant within walking distance...excellent food!

noooooo

I could see the mountain from 2 directions. It was quiet even though it was close to the highway. Everything in the room worked, microwave, refrigerator, A/C, lights, hot water, bathroom etc. Beds were comfortable. Too many pillows.
- 1/5
It was no the same hotel in the photo. completely different place. Old stinky place. Bed smelled like feet and pee. Vagrants hanging around outside, talking, making noise until after midnight. Complete bait and switch.
- 3/5
I didn’t realize that this location consisted of multiple buildings. I am a disabled veteran and we were given a room on the third floor- which would have been fine except the elevator closest to us was out of order. Mold was also on the ceiling of our room.
- 2/5
Room was out dated 3 plugs didn’t work plug behind bed side table had no cover light above flickers when trying to use it 2 plugs in the kitchen don’t work furniture is outdated couch was hard & looked dirty door to bathroom was ghetto bathroom fan did not work the ceiling in the shower had some type of stain none of the windows locked room definitely did not look as nice as the pics we didn’t stay to eat our free breakfast as we knew it would be disappointing
- 3/5
Very heavy musty smell emanating from bathroom.
- 4/5
Much better than other properties in same area. Service needs some improvement.
- 1/5
Clean. They made us give our dirty towels to
- 1/5
Toilet doesn't flush right

All in all a good experience.

This property was sketchy! Did not looke like the online picture I was expecting. The elevator did not work we were on the 3rd floor.
- 1/5
Unacceptable
- 5/5
It’s ok with price and convenience.. breakfast was good.
- 2/5
Not good
- 2/5
Check in was smooth. Room was dirty. Lock on door for not with work.
- 5/5
The young lady at the front desk was extremely nice, helpful and made check in a breeze! Loved her great customer service! It was convenient having walkable gas station and food places in the area. Also the fact that the entire hotel is 100% smoke free was a huge plus for us! I definitely recommend this place and it was a great deal on the nightly rate.
- 2/5
A very disappointing stay. The pool was non operational even though it was advertised as having a pool. The staff was less than attentive-we had to argue to get new fresh towels (they only wanted to do a 1-to-1 trade for dirty towels but we needed more than the number supplied in the room to start with). The window in the room opened, but did not stay up--it crushed my hand and I had to go to the front desk to get ice since there are no ice machines accessible to guests. Will not be staying there (or any La Quinta likely) again.
- 4/5
The hot water wasn’t very hot Luke warm. Other than great place for the price
- 5/5
Beds are comfort. Breakfast has plenty of food.
- 1/5
Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. Spent 3 days and never got maid service. Check in staff most unhelpful. If you are considering this hotel—DON’T do it.
- 4/5
Check in staff was not the nicest!
- 1/5
Reserved a King, got 2 doubles. Room was dirty, paint chipped. Gaps under front door.
- 4/5
Clean and quiet place. Rooms are spacious and Service was excellent at the Front Desk and at Breakfast. Can add more items to the continental breakfast.
- 2/5
Well i had to change original rooms due to dirty tub and shower. There were no ice machines on any floor that were operational had to go to the front desk. The wifi was not great and when trying to work remotely that was difficult. The house phone in the room was not working so if needed you had to walk down to the front desk. The one amenity that i was looking forward to using the pool it was out of order. I also had an item stolen from my truck and the item was locked up. I will not be staying here again
- 3/5
I had to cancel my reservation due to cancelation of my meeting
- 2/5
When I checked in, the first room I was given smelled heavily of smoke, even though the property is described as smoke-free. I asked to be moved and was given another room, but people were often smoking right outside, and the smoke came into my room through the air conditioning. The photos on the website do not accurately represent the current condition of the hotel. While the room itself was moderately clean, the overall space felt worn down and in need of maintenance. The shower looked too unclean for me to use, so I ended up bathing in the sink instead. The pool and hot tub were closed during my stay, and it seemed they had been for a while. I also chose not to eat the complimentary breakfast because the area appeared unclean. Lastly, I recommend checking a wide range of reviews across different sources before booking, as they vary greatly in tone and accuracy.
- 3/5
Room was not clean, especially the bathroom. The only room we could find.
- 3/5
Great location. The building is tired and in need of upgrading.
- 3/5
The molding around the tub is coming apart. The toilet seat was flopping around.
- 1/5
Bathtub had a crack in it with mold and water underneath. I told the number that texted me from the office.no response. Place is nasty. Didn’t shower because the bathtub was didgusting with the crack and cigarette burns.
- 3/5
The motel is attractive on outside. The pool wasn’t open. Small room, old style with small tub/shower combo. The tub is old, so it doesn’t look as clean. There’s no hair dryer in the room and the double beds feel small. Was thinking full not double. The room doesn’t have lamp outlets to charge phones, so we had to pull out the nightstand to charge phones. Overall, got the job done for a one night inexpensive stay, but not one for a more comfortable stay.
- 3/5
Charge extra for checking in an hour
- 1/5
Wouldn’t stay there again. Didn’t get the room we reserved, all of the ice machines were broken, and the pool had never been opened. It was also very noisy and most parking spots were taken by contractors.
- 2/5
Booked for 2 nights. Checked out 1st morning due to no hot water. Advised front desk at check out. Received an e-mail the second morning (one day after check out) asking for details for my check out. How do I check out 1 day after I checked out? When told again why I left early, they replied they would have someone check on the hot water (now more than 24 hrs later!
- 3/5
The bathroom ceiling looked like black mold from moisture. The bottom of the tub i put a towel down, was afraid of fungas it was dark in standing area for nonskid. Beds were not comfortable.Tgey were more like full not queen. Staff was nice though at checkin. The picture makes it look like an enviting hotel. Coffee was good. $100 deposit was held on card. More than any other I stayed in over my trip.

Older Motel

I've stayed at many La Quinta locations over the past 10 years, but this was by far the worst experience. I arrived at 9 PM (check-in starts at 3) to find a line of guests still waiting for rooms because none had been cleaned. This is COMMON. Check the reviews! My room had broken blinds that left a large gap facing the parking lot, visible to anyone outside. Mold was visible in the bathroom, the room smelled of mildew, and the carpet and flooring were in poor condition. COMMON. Outlets by the bed were unusable. COMMON. The pool—which is still listed as an amenity—has apparently been closed all year. COMMON. The breakfast was extremely limited. COMMON. The staff responded to guest complaints with visible eye-rolling and laughter. I raised issues through the hotel’s text system and in person with no follow-up. This property does not meet the standard La Quinta brand promises. I will not return and recommend looking elsewhere. Anywhere else. I would stay at a Super 8 or Motel 6 before ever considering this “hotel” again.
- 4/5
It is a good place. Other than news and sports, not much to watch on Dish TV. Toilet tank sweats constantly. Vent doesn't seem to work in toilet/tub area. Water often on floor in that area. Sink spigot handle needs repair, fell off a couple times. Room overall is good.
- 4/5
Very impressed with the staff; the breakfast there is the best that we've had at any motel offering the free breakfast. Room is comfortable. Appreciate that the front desk girl got us a convenient room as I asked her. We are in our 2nd week here. Do not care for the cable tv; other than a choice of news coverage, there is nothing that my husband and I watch.
- 1/5
Paint peeled off door. Upper door latch ripped out. Filthy bathtub. Home made Double outlet installed in the front of the microwave. Smell outside the room horrendous and smell inside was bad.
- 5/5
Did not like that the doors to the room are outside but it was quiet and safe overall.
- 1/5
Room smelled like smoke. Room had rotting baseboards. Bathtub was stained brown and looked disgusting. The stairs are uneven and a trip hazard. This is a zero star hotel.
- 4/5
We liked being on the ground floor. Did not like that pool was not working or that we had to get our own towels and had to ask person at the desk to get ice for us.
- 1/5
People living there getting evicted hangong out ouside by the cars. Tweakers everywhere.
- 3/5
There are several areas of the property that need updated, repaired, cleaned, or painted.
- 4/5
Check in waz quick Breakfast was awsome

You get what you pay for. Great service and clean room. They had suites listed on hotels site but were not available.
- 1/5
Disgusting hotel, stayed for 4 nights over 4th of July. Zero maid service to come clean room my entire stay at hotel. Three times I asked for clean sheets and towels. I never had my room cleaned or trash taken out of waste basket. I had to take my dirty towels to front desk for new ones. I asked front desk and was lied to or flat out blown off. Because it was holiday, it was hard to find any other accommodation or I would have. I am demanding a refund of half my bill and will dispute this charge with my bank. I would NEVER recommend this La Quinta site to anyone. Additionally, the photos online of the facility is not what the location site looks like at all. The photonics a yellow pleasant looking hotel. The actual is a brown/grey and looks like a “no tell motel” with drug addicts and homeless lurking around. It’s gross!
- 3/5
Yeahhhhh we travel ALOT and this was all that was available for a quick stay on a holiday weekend. The area was great for food options.
- 1/5
Had to ask multiple times for clean towels And a lot of drug addicts in the area arguing and fighting and railroad tracks right in front of the place
- 1/5
This hotel was not in a very good location, the walls were paper thin you could hear everything next door even people talking outside of the room. Did not get any sleep the rooms were very small and the beds were not comfortable. We canceled our extra night and found another hotel
- 3/5
Our room was nice a spacious. AC worked well. Desk was always staffed and everyone was helpful, polite and kind. We stayed for 3 days and I never saw the hallway or stairs vacuumed, which were dirty. Pool and ice machine out of order. I would assume they are understaffed, but the workers who were present worked non-stop. Please, improve your breakfast selection and keep it replenished so no one has to ask for a bagel.
- 3/5
Our room was clean and great location to Garden of the Gods, restaurants and shopping. The hotel is older and needs visible cosmetic repairs, the pool was out of order and breakfast did not have many choices.

The last night of our stay, we had three separate incidents of ladies yelling outside my window at 12:45am, a guy knocking on everyone’s door yelling and cussing and broke down a neighbor’s door at 1:35-2am, then the neighbors on the other side of the wall locked their loud cat in the bathroom while they had a yelling argument at 3-3:30am. I had to get up at 6am to drive a 10 hour drive. This stay was terrible, I am still overcharged at this time, and will not be back!
