Great location to the Pro Rodeo Nice view of the mountains amd prefect access to the highways. 2 night stay with no TV told maintenance doesn't work weekends, halls were dark day and night. Breakfast was good for the value. Checkin staff was very friendly

nothing. (It was never replaced). The bathroom reeked like mold and vomit. Our ac could only be on or off via the plug because the panel was broken and it was insanely loud. I stopped to see a friend in her room and one of the beds was broken. I don’t expect much from a holiday inn but this was bad.

I specifically asked not to be placed by the elevator and they placed us by the elevator and pool with the pool deck outside our room. I requested to be moved and they did accommodate us. The wifi wasn't working and when we called downstairs, no one answered for over thirty minutes. When we walked downstairs there were three people sitting at the front desk. They had no breakfast for us for two days and made excuses that their food order didn't arrive. It was Memorial Day weekend and they had no food. The rooms were very small and the property looked tired and needed some freshening up. The bathroom configuration makes me wonder who helped design them. So odd how it was laid out. Honestly, this may be the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Would recommend looking at other properties in the area.

The room was clean as well as the bathroom. The only issue with the room was that ac was making loud noises and it would not go under 73 so it was a little warm. Breakfast was another story. At 7a they were out of cinnamon buns when my husband asked if she was making more she said no done for the day. So I went to the front desk and the ladies there thought that was odd and went and spoke with the lady in the kitchen to tell her to make more. Well the lady did bring out more nice and hard and frozen. The pancake machine wasn’t working either but at this point we weren’t asking the kitchen lady for anything further.

On the plus side they have a great view of Pike’s Peak from the patio that can’t be duplicated from any other hotel in the area. So 10 stars for the view and 0 stars for the accommodations. Come for the view, but plan to go elsewhere for breakfast.

The parking lot is a little tight quarters but there is lots of parking. The room was nice but one bed was broken on one side that was only obvious when you sat on it.

Loved the check-in and check-out times. It actually made the stay feel worthwhile instead of feeling like we were just paying for a place to sleep. We wer able to enjoy the awesome pool on both days! It felt like a great value and a really enjoyable stay

The hotel was a nice place to stay and the complimentary breakfast was a plus. The staff was very cordial and the stay was very inexpensive.

This was the dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed at. Our first room had ants in the bathroom. They moved us and floors clearly hadn’t been vacuumed in that room either. We called the front desk and they said they would put a note in for housekeeping in the morning. Housekeeping then cleaned the bathroom, made one of 2 beds. Did not vacuum again (same stuff on the floor as when we walked in) and when we walked past the gym while the housekeepers were out cleaning the one was just standing inside texting. The one guy at the front desk was the only helpful one and kept apologizing and helping us the best he could. However the housekeeping needs to be fixed! Also the pool was green and freezing cold. Also there is a train track behind this hotel. I was woken by the train horn. The parking is also very tight for larger vehicles.

I called 3 separate times to ensure we could get the two rooms next to each other to which I was told each time that shouldn’t be a problem. I did advise I would be coming in late which I was told wouldn’t be an issue only to arrive to have the rooms on two separate floors and one of the rooms wouldn’t have be what we reserved. I asked if there would be a price adjustment due to not having the room we booked but was told that because we were already booked through Expedia we were already getting the best rate we could get. Breakfast could have been better. From My experience, they stopped cooking food at least an hour before they say they stop serving breakfast so that last hour you’re getting what’s out there and if it runs out that’s it. It served its purpose but won’t be inclined to go back.

The service was okay, the room was fine, but the breakfast was a joke. The pancake machine barely worked and it hadn't been cleaned properly. My husband tried to fix it, so that's how we knew it wasn't cleaned. There were no fresh fruit and the sausage patties were overcooked, tasted like jerky. The juice machine had refill on everything, except cranberry. On the second day, the eggs were gone after an hour, no more extra and breakfast is suppose to be from 6-9, so there should have been more. The pool, hot tub and the gym were all unavailable. They said it should take 3 days but it hadn't been working since the 16th, so no clue what they were doing to fix it. The gym looked like it just needed to be clean because there were towels tossed all over the floor, so i don't understand why they closed it. Also, the sink and bathtub in our room kept flooding water so the drains need to be fixed. You could tell this place wasn't maintained at all. Would not recommend staying here.

Breakfast was not available as it regularly is. No milk stocked no cereal stocked the last day they just had a sign that Breakfast wouldn't be available. Pool only reason we rented the places was out of order all week after shutting it down Sunday night. Kids were not happy. Was like staying at a Motel.

Disappointed in our stay at this Holiday Inn Express. The bed was not comfortable, there was not any coffee one morning, and two mornings they did not have muffins or cinnamon rolls. The hot tub was not working either. I will not stay at this location again.

Suite was ok except the sofa bed could use an upgrade. The swimming pool was nearby and you could smell rhe chlorine on rhe entire first floor. Worst part was no breakfast for us. Was supposed to be served at 6am and the staff arrived at 6.06 to start prepping. So we left without.

Checked in on a sunday did not get a single day of room service had a giant bag of trash that we just had sitting in our room.How does it use the same bedding had to go to the front desk to request towels and toilet paper.Let multiple management know.While we were there about not having any room service and nothing was done.We still had no room service all week.Were there for 6 days

Clean hotel lovely breakfast area

The pool was closed for majority of our stay, breakfast was cold most days. Cheap ingredients and my fiancé had to fix the waffle machine herself as in the rep preparing breakfast instructed her to fix it vs fixing it for her. Expedia needs to update amenities that aren’t available prior to booking as we had already driven 14 there before finding out.

Hot tub wasn't working and breakfast wasn't good

The front desk associate was as kind as he could be considering the circumstances. I made a reservation to stay at this hotel with my 4 children and when I arrived the room I reserved was not available as it was “first come first serve.”

Staff was great, especially Andrew! He was freindly, informative and helpful!! Breakfast was pretty good, nice choice of options!

Andrew was very polite upon checking in. I found the location of this hotel to be very convenient and I really enjoyed the breakfast aside from those things, the toilet kept running all night, the air conditioner in the room would not shut off, and when I woke up in the morning to take a shower, there was no hot water.

I always stay at Holiday Inn Express. This facility does not meet that standard.The room was not very clean. Handprints from previous guests on all of furniture like it hadnt been cleaned. The towels were stained. No coffee machine in room. Breakfast had no omelets, pancake machine was out of order, potatoes were not cooked all the way, cinnamon rolls were cold and hard. Pool was green and needs cleaned and hot tub was out of order. Only good part was the staff was friendly.

Room was right by elevator so constant high pitched noise all the time. Hot water did not work. WiFi kept dropping every 2 minutes. Did not get the room I made a reservation for. Little to no parking.

It’s winter. It snowed. No treatment for parking lot. I got stuck and there was no shovel or anything to assist me with getting out. I had to dig and maneuver my way off the parking lot. Very disappointing.

The room we were told in the morning should not have been rented. It had over 30 dead flies, no remote, no working heater or fridgerator.The hot tub was dirty and the pool had air conditioner blasting. We were told because we made reservations through Expedia no type of refund on Holliday Inn or credit could be issused. Poor staffing and management. Only morning lady Ashley was apologetic in the morning. We quickly left and checked into an hotel that was clean and friendly.

We arrived late evening but were greeted immediately by very friendly staff. Our room was clean with very comfortable beds and pillows. A different but equally friendly staff member greeted us as we returned from a concert and late dinner. Checkout was easy with a third friendly staff member.

Everything was great besides the fact that the pool had way too much chlorine to where it burned your eyes even just being in the room. We had a hard time getting pool towels as well. Otherwise, breakfast was great, it smelled and looked clean inside & out. Conveniently located near lots of attractions.

Staff were great and friendly. Room was ok but was great to be near stairs that led outside with the service dog with us. Area was central to everything we wanted to do. Pillows could be better and some general maintenance like chipping paint and old grout. Check out pulpit rock nearby

I always like staying at Holiday Inn's. The only complaint during this stay was the parking lot is extremely small.

The room smelled very moldy and there was a bed bug on my pillow. We checked the rest of the bed and could only find that one. I smashed the bug and left it on the bathroom sink. After house keeping came by the bug was on the floor. We were shorted towels and they didnt take the trash out

They ran put of pancake mix over an hour before breakfast was over, they were out of peanut butter, the consistency ofntheir omlette literally made me gag and I had to sput it out. The biscuits wete hard and the potatoes had dried out. The beds were not comfortable and the heating/ac did not eork properly, we were eairhwr freezing or sweating, even when we did not turn the temp up or down. The "hot tub" was barely warm. I stay hat Hokiday Inn express and Suites often, this is a bad one... don't stay here..

It is a really nice place to stay. Very close to pikes peak, Garden of gods and cave of the winds.

The beds were uncomfortable for me and my husband, I thought a sweet meant that there was a room closed off, which was not the case in this location. But the breakfast was delicious. The help was great. The front desk was great and the room was clean. I didn’t enjoy my stay.

Great customer service at front desk. However, definitely some updates needed/care in property maintenance. Not bad but not up to the typical Holiday Inn express. Also, soooo loud on weekend. There was practically a 1” gap at the bottom of the door so it made sense that it sounded like our door was opening and closing in the middle of the night even though it was someone else’s.

The breakfast was really fabulous and the breakfast lady was working hard and she was friendly and courteous. The coffee maker in my room did not work upon my arrival, but was fixed the next day. The parking lot is narrow and had a lot of litter. The elevator on my first ride up to my room smelled very badly of cigarette smoke. A dirty towel had been wadded up and stuffed in the hair dryer slot when I arrived, making me wonder if the room had been cleaned. I have been billed $50 more than the price quoted to me by Expedia. I will not return to this motel or recommend it to others, sorry.

Breakfast was not wonderful, meat and eggs were both undercooked the second day . Pros: property was in a good location, beds were very comfortable, pillows were fluffy, and it was very clean- Brett the front desk attendant was awesome ! Very helpful and accommodating !

It’s like they got new updated furniture, and let their nearsighted uncle paint. Tacky, peeling paint, rundown, but new furniture.. was a bummer.

Decent for a HIE, but I thought it would be better. We had trouble getting wash cloths, and were given hand towels each time. Parking was minimal. Room was fine. Breakfast was adequate.

This hotel was not up to the standards of a Holiday Inn Express. It was a bit run down and not as clean as they typically are. Smelled like marijuana in the hallway. The parking was very limited and spots were quite tight. I love Holiday Inn Express but this one was overall a fail for me.

Went to vacation in the Colorado Springs area. This was an excellent location to be able to see all the sights in the area and come back to every night. Spent 4 nights. Excellent breakfast each morning. Highly recommend!!

The cleaning staff did a great job with our room and the property was clean. The front desk staff was very helpful and accommodating when we did not arrive on night one due to a cancelled flight. My only negative is they appeared short staffed in the dining room over the weekend when the hotel was sold out, so the employee wasn't. able to keep up with the demand. Overall a nice hotel and good location.

The weather was amazing, the place was clean. The pool was nice too. I arrived to check in with another guest and we waited for quite a while without anyone from the hotel coming to assist us. But once they arrived the staff was friendly and courteous.

Excellent location for a family stay to visit all major attractions in area especially pikes peak. Always a pleasure to stay at holiday inn express.

Everything is pretty good the only thing that was terrible was we went with the intention of swimming and I had four kids. But when we got to the pool the chlorine was so strong you could smell it as soon as you open the door after about 20 minutes of everybody's swimming their eyes were burning one of my daughter's coughed so bad she threw up the other kids didn't feel good for at least for half hour after we got them out of pool that was my only concern.

The pool area was dirty and very noisy. It was next to our room. We had to keep our blinds closed because the outdoor area to the pool was right outside our room. The breakfast was very cold one morning.

The evening auditor was no help when I asked for cups he told me I need to going down to circle k and buy some but also said they have cups over where the coffee is but I couldn’t take them because they were for breakfast in the morning. I also needed towels instead of him telling me he’s taking them up he left me standing at the front desk looking stupid.

There was a outlet next to the beds that did not have a cover on it. The shower faucet was loose. The towel holder was nearly failing off the wall. We could only find an ice machine on the 3rd floor and we were on the 1st floor.

Room was clean. Checkin staff was pleasant. Breakfast was the normal hotel breakfast but sausage was died out, eggs had been in warmer too long as well as the tator tots that I could not stab with a fork. Many things were not working.

The staff made excuses and basically blamed us for coming in late even though we arrived within check in hrs. We asked for a clean room and he said he could not move us because we booked on hotels.com. He said he could give us clean sheets but we needed to change them because the housecleaning staff was not available. Instead of being reactive he should have been proactive. The pillows were stained, the bathroom door would not close, the tables had sticky stuff on them, and the fridge had someone’s left over food spilt inside. Very bad experience with no reasonable solution or accountability

Best hotel ever! I truly enjoyed my stay here. The staff was very friendly and so helpful. I loved the layout of the rooms and even though I had to cut this trip short the next hotel I stayed at did not even hold a candle to this place! And they are a world renowned hotel!! I'll stay here again for sure.

The location is good. Smelled very clean. Parking lot is small for large vehicles. Mattresses need replaced (concave). Stayed in room next to exterior door- latch needs adjustment- could hear door all hours of the night. This property needs an overall remodel.

Convenient walking distance only to Outback restaurant. The room was clean; however, finger print smudges on window and interior door (not wiped down). Food was left previously in refrigerator, which we had to remove to utilize refrigerator for ourselves. Breakfast is to start at 7am, which coffee was ready, rolls, etc; however, hot breakfast was delayed til after 7:30am, as attendant was late for work that morning! This reflects on poor management of Holiday Inn Express facility. Won't return, and will book another hotel for next stay in future!!
