Reviews
Guests generally appreciate the hotel's central location and cleanliness, as well as the friendly and helpful staff. However, many express dissatisfaction with the parking situation, which is often described as inconvenient, expensive, or limited. Some guests also mention hidden charges, such as for breakfast or parking, and a few note issues with room comfort or amenities.

Hotel is in a good location, walking distance to the venue and restaurants.

There are no fridges in the rooms, so take that into account. You may want to bring a firestick as there's no cable. Bathroom floors and showers are slippery. Parking is in a public garage. The beds are nice. Building is funky as the floor you enter on isn't the Hilton

Very cool place

El personal muy amable, las instalaciones muy bonitas. En una zona muy tranquila!! Volveremos!!

Overall really nice place.

Great place to stay. Close walking to some good smaller restaurants, close driving to a lot of events like Pikes Peak Cog Railroad or Garden of the God's. These were both fabulous even though it was mainly cloudy. Check out Cripple Creek and go on the Victor Gaige Railroad through a working gold mine. Lots of neat shops and if you gamble, 8 casinos on the main street. All under 10 minute walk. We actually stayed over a couple of nights here and then returned to Hilton for a couple more nights. Great breakfast, too but $18 for full and $12 for continental. $17/night to park.

Great location

Everything was great—even the breakfast was excellent, despite the extra charge. However, since there are clubs nearby, the music can be quite loud at night.

Nice rooms, very average beds, great staff and excellent location. Parking could be more secure, breakfast is average.
- 1.5/5
The breakfast was not complimentary - $18 There were loose fixtures (doorknobs and TP holder), no bulb in the bathroom nightlight, and the bathtub faucet was held together with silicone. Parking - $17 after paying $171 for one night?

Simple clean property central to shopping and dining and an easy scooter ride to downtown. Breakfast and wait staff were wonderful.
- 3/5
Parking next door requires you to navigate with luggage up/down am Inclined ramp. Did not use on-site dining. Walking distance to multiple good eateries on Tejon St. Room clean. Paid higher price to stay at Hilton than other hotels in area--would rethink my decisions for any future stays in downtown COS.

I stayed at the Hilton Garden Inn Colorado Springs Downtown and had an excellent experience. The room was comfortable, relatively spacious, and very clean. The bed was cozy, the blackout curtains worked perfectly, and the TV had a personalized welcome message. The bathroom included lotion, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner, and having a microwave in the room was very convenient. Service was quick and efficient, with easy self-check-in and self-checkout. Whenever I needed help through the app, the response was prompt. The location is perfect, close to bars and within walking distance of the main street. My husband and I walked to a nearby bar, had a few drinks, and had a great time. Highly recommend. Nothing really

Staff was great! Room and facilities clean and in great shape. Restaurant was really a cafe not a real "restaurant" Could not get the room to heat, kept blowing cold air even when we made sure that thermostat was on heat and adjusted the fan. We got an ADA bathroom (without request) and water all over the floor due to poor grading of floor. Just enough little stuff to irritate us. Great location, staff but not likely to stay again.
- 5/5
Everything about this place was so amazing. I love the staff, the rooms, the bar inside the hotel, and the bar at the rooftop. I most certainly will be coming again.

The location was good, and the spa was alright There wasn't hot water in the showers, just warm water.
- 5/5
parking was ok - didnt eat breakfast
- 5/5
Nothing particular
- 4/5
I would like to have been informed up front about the extra parking fee and clear instructions to drop off the key in the outside drop box when exiting the parking garage.
- 4/5
Great location! Walking distance to bars and restaurants. Only complaint is the terrible pillows! They fall completely flat once you lay your head on them.
- 4/5
One of the best places we’ve ever stayed! Breakfast buffet was a bit expensive so we didn’t eat there, but it was in a perfect location and we had a fabulous time! Check-in was super easy. Parking was a bit difficult to figure out but convenient! Great stay!

We drove 7 hours to Colorado Springs to ride in an air balloon for my 50th birthday. The location of the hotel to Memorial Park, the rooms comfort & cleanliness and especially the view were all perfect!

- 5/5
This is the 2nd time we stayed here, and plan to stay again soon.
- 4/5
Parking is not included in your stay and is not the same price as listed in the Hilton app ($17 per night).
- 4/5
I loved the hotel! Very nice. Comfy. Cozy. Just $17 for simple breakfast is a little too expensive considering you're already paying $180 a night.
- 4/5
Housecleaning came through the halls at 9:00am and shouted housecleaning while knocking on doors. It was loud enough to wake you up and bothersome. I shouldn't be able to hear housecleaning making the rounds. Another guest on a different floor was complaining about this and guest services was rude to her and i explained my experience was similar. Staff could be better trained.
- 5/5
It was a really great property. Location was perfect for shopping, drinking, and dining.
- 5/5
Morning breakfast was yummy and included! The hotel management is actively involved to ensure guests enjoy the stay and any feedback. The team genuinely cares and they even have security in the lobby area. We loved our room and experience so much we extended our stay by an extra day.
- 5/5
Nice location
- 5/5
I was there for my anniversary. Naomi was so nice to us. She is an asset to this hotel!! Thank you Naomi
- 4/5
Only drawback; it’s a noisy location.
- 5/5

- 4/5
Fantastic location, great staff however the hot tub was in dire need of a clean and filter service. Breakfast was just ok
- 5/5
This place was great!
- 4/5
We have stayed at this property multiple times and it is a great place and location downtown.
- 5/5
Good
- 5/5
Great hotel. Only problem I had was the outside noise that I could hear from my room because of where it’s located.
- 5/5
nice!
- 4/5
It was good but I’m always surprised to see hotels charge for bottled water inside the room. It looks like a complimentary gift and then it has a price tag. It is bad form for any hotel. It gives the appearance of being stingy instead of gracious.
- 5/5
Amazing stay, short stay but good. Super comfy beds and really nice front desk workers.
- 5/5
Room was very clean & modern. Location was great for walking to restaurants, brewery’s and cafe’s! Front desk was helpful with suggestions where to go for food after arriving late.
- 5/5
Was super clean and in a great location
- 4/5
The its self was great. They only had one elevator working so it was difficult to get the floor you needed. I was charched 50 dollars for what im not sure as i didnt trash the room or charge anything to the room. But pther than that the stay was good.
- 3/5
The hotel is a block away from shopping and restaurants featuring a wide range of cuisine. The hotel's breakfast is also excellent as are the restaurant personnel. There were two disappointments; unclean linens and the parking. We had dark stains on the sheets every time they were changed, one day the room was never cleaned, and we were given new sheets another night but had to make the bed ourselves. The parking area is outside and sometimes homeless are waiting next to the car window at the exit kiosk soliciting. We also had homeless wonder in the breakfast buffet area and the first floor entrance is not always monitored (about 50% of time). This makes it easy for anyone to follow you into hotel and the elevator without being a guest. Definitely, some room for improvement - not living up to the Hilton reputation.
- 5/5
We had a great stay. We spent 2 nights here as part of a road trip vacation. It is a nice location we a beautiful view. We always felt safe.
- 1/5
Room was ok, too pricey! Too many hidden charges, online shoes free breakfast! That’s a hidden $32.48 charge! If you want to park your car on the “hotel parking lot is another $15.00, that’s a $300.00 night! And breakfast was cold!
- 4/5
Window needed black out curtains- too much outside downtown light coming in.
- 5/5
Room was clean and spacious. Staff were friendly. Bed was comfy. I would not mind staying here again.
- 5/5
I really like this property. I’ve stayed a couple of times. Parking is kind of a pain if you don’t know to hold onto your room key card to exit the parking garage but other than that I’ve always enjoyed my stay. The breakfast is amazing. I really loved the breakfast bar!
- 4/5
Good facilities, quite cleanly, staff and service were exceptional. The area is very walk-able. Parking is a task though but not overly complicated. Breakfast isn't included, option to include is not worth the price hike on reservation. Area around the complex is loud in afternoon-night but could've just been due to the holiday when I visited. Overall good experience.
- 3/5
The location was great, the staff was very friendly and helpful. The bed was incredibly hard and the pillows were completely flat. We asked for and received 4 extra pillows but still couldn’t get much sleep because the bed was so uncomfortable.
- 5/5
Spent 3 weekends in a row in Colorado Springs at 3 different hotels. Hilton Garden Inn was the BEST by far. Stayed one weekend at a more expensive hotel and one at a less expensive. Hilton Garden Inn had an amazing staff, easy parking at $15 per night and comfortable, clean room. Our new go-to in Springs!
- 3/5
Room was unremarkable
- 5/5
Excellent staff & clean rooms
- 5/5
The property was well-located, with access to many shops and restaurants. We appreciated that it was pet-friendly and the staff were very courteous.
- 4/5
Amazing room and service. I was mountain view side along cascade ave. Was soook loud and a loud late party on our floor which was annoying. Other than that, great!!!
- 5/5
Customer service was excellent!
- 5/5
Only complaint was the room had a odor. Otherwise all good.
- 5/5
Great location, close to a variety of food, beverage and nightlife!
- 5/5
Great hotel, i enjoyed my stay very much. My room was was well laid out and you can tell this hotel is a fairly new property, everything well maintained and clean. Quick walk to restaurants, I honestly dont know how the area is at night, but during the day it was perfectly fine. Would stay here again
- 5/5
Nice place
- 4/5
Chose this hotel because it look conveniently located for driving and walking. Also was hoping for a nice mountain view, and we got a pretty good one as we were situated on an upper floor above the top of the bank building across the street. Couldn't hear other guests for the most part, but could hear traffic at the corner outside. This didn't end up being too big of a deal as the noise died down by 10 or 11 pm. Breakfast was included in our room price which was nice - standard hotel breakfast fare, but nice that it didn't cost extra. Parking was a bit of a mess one night as the hotel shares a public parking lot with a bank next door, and it filled up Saturday night and nobody knew what to do - had to go to the front desk in the morning and let them know your had to park in overflow parking to take the parking fee off, but nobody was notified at check-in of the possibility that they would be possibly using overflow parking that was half a block away or so. Everything in room was nice and comfy. Microwave and fridge in room so we could reheat leftovers. Only downside besides outside noise was sliding door to bathroom instead of a regular door you could shut all the way and have a bit more privacy.
- 5/5
Staff was awesome. Especially, Katie. She was great!
- 3/5
My beautiful daughter checked in before me. I stood back and watched. Tge guy at the coubter offer her the Hilton discount free breakfast etc. Parking was an additional $15 on top of the $225 a night stay along with $15 for breakfast. Anyway, the guy offers her these items at no extra fee. I walk over, mind you my daughter looks nothing like me. So he has no idea that we're together. I asked if i could be on the 9th floor. No theyre booked up for awhile now. Hmmm shes now on the 9th floor. Ok how about the Hilton program can i sign up for that? Youre welcome to do that after this stay. Hmmm ok how about breakfast and parking, both extra $15 each. Seriously, at least try and be somewhat consistent. I'm not ugly by any stretch of the imagination, just 53, but still it was blanton what went on and i won't be staying tgere again. I'll book elsewhere while in town.
- 4/5
Great central location, close to sights. Walking distance to a variety of restaurants. A bit noisy at night due to traffic and surrounding restaurants.
- 4/5
The bathroom fan did not work and the music from the bars nearby was really loud. The breakfast and dinner were fantastic.
- 5/5
Very nice hotel right in the heart of downtown. Very walkable. Both restaurants we ate at were only a few blocks away. Would stay here again.
- 3/5
Bathroom had one very small bar of soap, no body wash. Parking was not safe for two senior ladies. Had to use shared parking garage with no direct access into hotel. I will not stay at this Hilton again, just because of the parking situation. Never had bad experience at a Hilton. Note: it was very clean and spacious
- 5/5
Staff was very helpful. We left two power cords at the hotel after our visit—staff found them for us. Thank you!
- 3/5
Some of the towels were stained it was unclear if had been laundered. We were put right by the elevator and it was very noise from 10pm to 1am.
- 5/5
Absolutely excellent place to stay. Professional and couteous service. My kiddos and I loved it here, and view of the mountains were breath taking too! Definitely recommend 10/10!
- 5/5
Room is beautiful, clean. Very comfortable bed and fabulous pillows. Staff is wonderful!
- 5/5
Great location for Tejon St shopping and restaurants. Easy walk to Pikes Peak Center
- 4/5
Our stay was very nice and the view was excellent. The front desk clerk was very welcoming. We dont understand why we had a handicapped room... a big chair in the tub was awkward. Otherwise, all was very nice.
- 3/5
The fact that we had to pay $15 per day for parking was a big negative in an outdoor lot and not feeling that our car would be safe from break ins. There is no free breakfast at this hotel.
- 4/5
Rather disappointing. This is not a restful room. Noises, lots of light coming into the room from hallway, light on microwave is bright and blares into the room, pubic hairs still on the walls in the shower, a flashing white light goes off every thirty seconds in the bedroom from the smoke detectors. Bathroom door is a sliding barn door that is not quiet when you need to use it in the middle of the night, beds are super hard, parking is not included with your stay it’s a surcharge, so is breakfast, and the breakfast is expensive for a traveler. I’m sure we will not be staying here again.
- 5/5
Smooth easy stay, great location
- 3/5
The hotel lacked a restaurant which opened in the evenings only and packets of snacks is not enough
- 3/5
Before I had called to make this reservation I called to verify that there was a hot tub and pool in working status I was giving the yes at the time that I had booked and when I Arrived for check in they tell me that the hot tub was no longer working which really threw off my whole trip the pool was up& working and was heated, not to my liking but my kids had fun so that made up for the downer but when a person Reservates just because there is a hot tub working & when you get there that is false! Thats why i give a 4 star!
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay. Everyone was very welcoming and helpful.
- 3/5
Property is a great location within walking distance to local night life, dining, and shopping. Room was clean upon arrival, but housekeeping was lacking during three night stay. Also, Expedia offered great rates; however, there were a lot of hidden fees tacked on to the room upon check in.
- 5/5
Room was comfortable.
- 5/5
Excellent hotel-good service and very comfortable beds and pillows-well positioned downtown but was not aware of the $15 per day parking fee
- 5/5
Two things to remember— it’s a downtown location— lots of outside noise throughout the night. Wasn’t a problem but for some it might be. Also, on site parking is $15 per night. Overall great stay
- 5/5
Fast and easy check in, very clean, and easy parking
- 4/5
Hands-down one of the best hotels in Colorado Springs. Wish the price wasn’t so high…Nice bathroom, clean room with a beautiful view. Many bars and restaurants are in walking distance. You could hear the music and people yelling/laughing at night. Service/Staff👍 Bar/Restaurant👍👍 bartender made the best drinks!! Came out of there pretty happy haha. 24hour little store where they had a good selection of wine, beer and snacks. Only downside was parking. It was a bit pricey and was shared by a bank.
- 5/5
I love the art work on all the buildings, great pizza place around the corner, pool n hot tub were amazing with salt water and the comfortable room was fantastic! We had amazing view from the 8th floor and the location was fabulous! Having electric scooters right outside the building was great for my daughter and I !
- 5/5
Great clean and updated!
- 3/5
Also the parking is $15/night, that was unexpected. Room was clean and comfortable, but kind of just an average experience overall.
- 5/5
Safe and clean place to stay in downtown. Alot to do within walking distance.
- 3/5
Everything was great about the hotel except I did find 2 cockroaches in my sink in the morning I was leaving so I couldn’t really tell anyone. They were small so I killed them
- 5/5
Staff was great and the room was more than acceptable
- 5/5
Customer service was excellent. The Text messages were a nice touch, that’s good customer service!
- 2/5
We told the front desk at check in that we only needed one night of parking because we were moving our son into college and he had a parking pass . At checkout they charged two nights and said prove to us you didn’t park there. Well, the gate to the gArage was broken so how could you even prove it. She refused to take off the charge. Also, street side rooms overlooking bars make it very loud. Took several requests to get a room on the other side of the bldg.
- 5/5
We enjoyed our nite in Colorado Springs. Our hotel was very nice and staff was friendly and welcoming. The hotel is conveniently located after traveling from Utah and exploring Pikes Peak. We arrived to our comfortable clean room and we were able to go back out to walk to get some dinner. Plenty of options to eat and have a drink. We chose Phantom Brewery. It was only a block away and staff is friendly and food was good.
- 5/5
This was a great experience. I would definitely recommend & will happily stay here again on return trips. Very convenient location, easy & reasonably priced parking, very clean, quiet, and the staff was great.
- 5/5
So easy to walk to great restaurants and bars.
- 4/5
Great location. Nice view of mountains.
- 5/5
I wish they had complimentary coffee in the lobby in the morning but beautiful hotel and great location.
- 5/5
Friendly staff, great pool/hot tub hours, clean rooms wirh all the amenities.
- 5/5
A GREAT VIEW OF PIKES PEAK.
- 5/5
Fantastic staff to check us in. Anna was super great!
- 4/5
I enjoyed my stay, The only thing I have a minor issue with was my card was charged twice for my stay.
- 4/5
It was ok. Liked the location. Average experience. The staff was really professional and friendly.
- 5/5
Loved being downtown. Very friendly night manager who was very helpful.
- 5/5
A convenient hotel on the North side of Colorado Springs. Parking was a little confusing to find, but otherwise no issues. Quiet. Pretty mountain view from 5th floor
- 5/5
I enjoyed the cleanliness of the facility and the employees very friendly. I didnt like they didnt have dark curtains to prevent sunlight at 5am. Woke us up before we were ready.
- 5/5
Very nice staff, clean room, up to date and new technology with begin able to unlock your room with your phone.
- 5/5
The hotel was beautiful the service was wonderful will definitely be back again!
- 5/5
Room smelled a bit like animals unless the temp was down in the 60’s. When we would turn thermostat up you could really smell it!
