The hotel and area is very nice. Beautiful. I wasn’t satisfied with the massage at the spa considering I asked for deep tissue and paid over $700 for a couples massage. I left still feeling like I needed a massage. Other than that, the food was delicious at the onsite restaurant. The views were amazing. The hairstylist at the salon was wonderful.

This place is awesome. The staff was so kind and helpful. The infinity pool was great. The restaurant food was to die for. They have Pilates machines. I ❤️ Pilates. Only thing I noticed was the blind in our room had a stain on it and the couch was pretty dirty looking which I didn’t expect for country club standards but over all I rate it highly and we’ll be coming back for sure.

Let me start with the positives. This place is beautiful and the room was spectacular (one of the casitas) and the views of garden of the gods are unmatched. However, when I checked in they gave me keys to the wrong room which lead me to walking into a couple in their space. Awkward. We then went to dinner and the food was ok! Drinks were great. I took my mother back to her room and her room was freezing. We called several times and they told us they couldn't control the heat without an engineer who wasn't working on Mothers Day? She had to leave her room at 6am and go back to her house bc she couldn't even shower in the freezing room. They said they would hook us up our bill but they only gave us 50% off brunch? Ridiculous. The night before we ordered two drinks for room service- over an hour to get a drink brought to the room. That night I told the hostess we had brunch at 11am the next day but my spa appt was at 10 and could we move it to 11:30? Nope. They were fully booked and could not accommodate! We got to brunch the next day and half of the dining room was empty. I showed up to my spa appt and they tell me after waiting for facialist that she took in the wrong client and could no longer do the service I booked. They made that right by comping my service. I told them at noon to bring my bags to the front desk please since my room was very far away- they were not there hours later when I left. The service here needs a major overhaul. People were nice, but disappointed!

Beautiful. Stunning! I Should also point out that the food is next level. Super gourmet. Did not have a single bad dish. I could not believe my taste buds. A few more healthy options on the menus would be ideal as people want to eat healthier these days. There could be a decadent naughty menu and a healthy menu. I think this would go over well. There are also some extra charges/resort fees and they really add up. It's a bit of a surprise when you checkout.

I have stayed here several times, and have always had great service. However, this past trip, I had made reservations with the concierge for a party of seven for regular breakfast on Easter morning. Our reservation was for 10 AM and the regular Easter buffet started at 11. When we checked in at the dining room, they had no record of the reservation. No one made any effort to assist us. We went to the rock room to order breakfast there. In the adjacent dining room, there was one party of seven seated at a round table. We asked if we could also sit at a round table, but we were told that we could not because we did not have a reservation. Instead, he offered to put seven of us at a little coffee table and seat us on a loveseat and two arm chairs. In the Rock Room, there were two tables next to each other that were empty, but one was square, and one was round. The server declined to let us sit there. We moved the tables together ourselves. The server was not happy, but he let us sit there. Notably, neither the GM nor the food and beverage manager were on site.

Room service breakfast was 30min late, when we called to find out what’s happening with our service n their excuse was chef was busy. I ordered huevous rancheros and it consisted of 2 OE eggs, some black beans and 2 small corn tortillas. It was missing all the other ingredients. I expect good service, good food as well as good facilities- unfortunately we only got one of three. Also, was put in a single king suite instead of the two double that we cc reserved. We were told you were “over booked “. We were moved to a different room the next day. Should we come back I hope these issues are resolved

We were very pleasantly surprised at how lovely our stay was. The staff were friendly and abundant, always trying to be helpful. Seriously, everyone was so nice! There was one young staffer, who was pretty stern with the rule of putting in your room service order the night before strictly before 9 PM, as we tried to put our order in it 9:04 PM and it was too late. So just be sure that you put your order in the night before on time! We were still able to call in our order in the morning and it came just fine. We also had breakfast at the Grandview restaurant and our server Casey was exceptionally kind and attentive. He tried to help us figure out a couple of Vegan options as well. The views were wonderful, and the rooms were so nice in the lodge. We liked hooking up the Bluetooth to the bathroom mirror, the delicious nespresso, coffee, light up closet, warm fireplace, hot tub, which was indoors, but the glass doors were wide open which made you almost feel like you were outside. This is a great place! The staff are all truly wonderful!

Overall, this place exceeded every expectation we had. Took one star off because we had dinner and cocktails in the restaurant one night and took our martinis to our room. As we were leaving, the bartender followed us and demanded we leave the martini glasses. He transferred our drinks to a plastic cup—not nice. It was the end of the night and we could’ve brought back the glasses the next morning. Londyn was friendly and helpful and gave us recommendations of places to visit around the area.

The room itself was outstanding, with a spacious living area featuring a cozy fireplace and a luxurious bathroom complete with a huge soaking tub — perfect after a cold, snowy day. While I didn't catch the names of all the amazing staff, a few stood out. Ella was an exceptional host who checked in with me before, during, and after my stay, making sure I had everything I needed and that my Hotels.com benefits were fully applied. One evening, I enjoyed a fantastic dinner at one of the on-site restaurants, complete with stunning views of Garden of the Gods Park; Jodie was a warm, attentive, and genuinely friendly server who made the experience even better. At the spa, Erica provided a treatment that was both skilled and welcoming. From start to finish, this stay truly lived up to its name — it felt like a real resort experience in every sense.

Upon arrival, the valet staff was polite.  We checked in, and we were happy to be here. Not knowing, my big surprise when I pulled back the bed covers.  A total of three stains were on the sheets.  We were disgusted by how a 4-star resort can make a mistake like this.  My wife was furious and wanted to leave. Instead, we walked back to the front desk to let them know, they said sorry and will change the sheets.  We came back to the room after our dinner at the Grand View (food was decent, presentation was not good, the food was sliding all over the plate before we received it). Our server was great, so we tipped 22%. We went back to our room.  Yes, the sheets were changed, but then they put another stained pillow on top of the clean sheets. We stayed 12/26-12/28 and have tried to call them and have their customer service liaison or GM reach out to us.  We have not heard any reply or feedback.  We will never return to a place that sells "WELLNESS" and makes us feel like we need to go get tested.  Your team needs to figure out what hospitality is.  Non was given, no manager reached out, and the experience is very unprofessional. No manager on site? Ridiculous!!!

However at checkout, (young BOY whose name started with a C) was completely apathetic and downright indifferent to us. I specially went to buy a new robe and he brought me ( threw it on the counter) a torn used one claiming, “ it was the best one he could find” and tried to charge me much more than what was stated on the price sheet placed in the room. I waited nearly 35 min while he ignored us and as they looked for a “new one”while he treated us as if he was doing us a favor. He is in desperate need of etiquette training and proper respect!!!

Staff was great, room needed some minor work. Broken inserts in shutters, bed frame gouge in corner. Reading lights in headboard not functional. Very close to a total 5 star experience, more like 4.5. Better between guest room inspection would bring to Helmsley level.

Staff is horrible, they claim that they have no manager on call, zero service recovery efforts, housekeeping was horrible. Do not waste your money on this so-called resort. Go straight to Broadmoor if you want to splurge or just look for other hotels that have reliable ratings. One of the worst encounter with staff that are supposed to be in the service industry but clearly have poor training

Beautiful views, but the hot tub was broken and after talking with others it seems to be a recurring issue. For the price, I would expect to be able to use at least one of the onsite hot tubs. Unfortunately this was our engagement and birthday trip, and we only stayed one night so it was really disappointing. One of the members offered a drink credit however when I checked out, it wasn’t applied as discussed and the front desk guy was not very friendly. Additionally, the fire place in our room had issues.

The property looks just like the images provided. Clean room and the fire pit inside and then view of the mountain is beautiful. The staff was really helpful and on top of everything. Our rental car ended up having a bad battery and the men from the resort offered to jump our car. They provided a dessert for my husband’s birthday. The men’s and woman’s locker room provides items such as razors, tooth brushes, hair spray/gel and much more. The heated infinity pool was my favorite part. We will definitely be back.

Large bathroom, best amenities, and layout. Stunning views right from bed! Only issue was the smell was horrendous until your nose gets used to it? Property is exceptional. However, our room, 421, was unacceptable for the cost. It was very small and connected to a larger suite where the noise carried. We wanted to change rooms, but the hotel was at full capacity. The manager comped us for breakfast. He also recommended we book a club room in the future, much closer to the main building. Dinner in the Grand View was okay foodwise and the entree choices were limited. My wife's steak had much gristle and not much taste. The stunning views made up for it. Service for both dinner and breakfast was excellent; servers and staff are well trained and professional. We do plan to go back and will book a better room next time.

Definitely not worth what we paid for to stay here. Most people that stay there are there for an event or members there as a status. We came here to treat ourselves after our wedding and were disappointed. Waited about 2.5hrs for dinner, locked out of our room twice. Nobody answers any phone around there for service. Nice but not worth the price. We much preferred the Keystone resort and spa about 2 hrs away for a quarter of the cost.

It seems a more adult, no kids / golf kinda resort.

We had a wonderful time at the Garden of the Gods Resort last weekend! The views are absolutely amazing and it’s no wonder how the resort got its name. We stayed in one of the casitas and we were quite impressed with the amount of space we had. Highly recommend getting one with the living room/kitchen/dining area! We’d also like to take the time to acknowledge some of the resort talent who really made our stay enjoyable: Armondo (server): We established a quick rapport with this fantastic server from our first meal and made sure we got his services for every meal we could! He’s VERY polite, kind-hearted, warm, and truly wants to make sure guests get the best out of every experience at the Grand View. Retain him for as long as possible! Rob (Valet): Another extremely accommodating staff member who makes it clear that everyone on the staff is there to make your stay incredibly enjoyable. He was very responsive and tentative to our needs and was always willing to share some extra information regarding resort functions and amenities. Rebekah (Massage Therapist): In short, she is amazing! There just aren’t enough good things to say about her, but if anyone happens to be lucky enough to gain her services, they are in GREAT hands!

Overall, our stay was very nice. Unfortunately our room wasn’t available until a half hour past check in. Also, the bellhop told us that no reservations were needed for their upscale dining, but that was not the case. When we went to the restaurant, they said no reservation no seating. I was a little alarmed by this, and the fact that the hostess didn’t even check to see if anything was available was unpleasant. Looking into the restaurant, there was many seats available at the 530 time frame that we arrived. The beauty of the resort and surrounding area made these inconveniences not so bad.

I was disappointed that ice was not available. Our room had an ice bucket, but when I searched the facility, no ice dispenser found. I went to the front desk to ask where I could find a dispenser and was told I could only ger ice through room service. The guy was kind of an ass about it.

Beautiful views of garden of gods park from lodge rooms. Clean large modern room. A cheaper decent alternative to the Broadmoor.

Perched at 6,400 ft, this Colorado Springs retreat isn’t for the faint of lungs—but conquer the climb, and you’re richly rewarded. The altitude may test your body, but the attitude of the place—and its people—is pure soul therapy. The rooms are spacious enough to fake a Zoom call convincingly. The bathrooms? Large enough for a full-blown makeup tutorial—lighting included for your Insta reel. One suspects the Kissing Camels (yes, the rock formation) might peek in for contouring tips. The iconic red rocks feel so close you could serenade them. The main attraction is just 3 minutes away (or a dramatic hop-skip-lunge, if you insist). On clear nights, stargazing with the SkyView app is an added delight. Location-wise, it’s perfect: Manitou Springs and Pike’s Peak are just 15 minutes away, as are restaurants and diversions—should you crave enchiladas over enlightenment. Two queen beds easily housed our quartet, and yoga gear was provided for those inclined to greet the sun—or nap near it. The spa and yoga sessions we skipped, drawn outdoors by Colorado’s natural charm. The resort itself? Infinity pool, hot tub, sauna, gym, and a calm that makes meditation seem redundant. The staff? Warm, intuitive, and genuinely helpful. Verdict: If altitude isn’t your nemesis, this place will elevate more than just your spirit.

There is absolutely nothing that we didn’t love about our stay at GOG Resort. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Room was relaxing and spacious. If I had to pick one thing that I didn’t like, it would be the difficulty in determining room service and dining options without calling or appearing in person. With dietary restrictions, it would great to have access to an online menu that lists options for the different food restrictions. I was instructed by management to ask restaurant staff for a list of options. The staff member that I asked was new and was unsure of what options were available. I really dislike drawing a lot of attention from other diners when multiple staff members have to come over and discuss my gluten allergy. So, I opted to skip dinner altogether and ordered from DoorDash instead. I hope GOG makes this process easier for other customers with food allergies.
