Booked a non-smoking room and both rooms had a really bad odor of cigarettes.

Great Place to Stay Right off The highway

The upstairs neighbor was making disrespectful noise; my wife and I had stopped to relax and get some sleep, and it was a disaster.

The room was HORRIBLE. Infested with roaches, dead bugs, and mice. This place needs to be shut down completely. And there’s no resolve. From the outside to inside the room.

They didn't clean the room and there were bugs in the bed. We ended up bringing bugs home tried to talk to the owner. The manager kept telling me they would call me. Nobody has called me. I want my money back!

Quite possibly the single worst hotel I'd ever stayed in. TV didn't work at all, door didn't close without being slammed shut, bed was miserably uncomfortable, bugs all over the room, had issues every night with noisy people outside my room. Seriously, if you're ever considering staying at this dump to save a few bucks, don't.

I understand that I paid a pretty cheap price but this was the worst place I have ever stayed.

Honestly this hotel was pretty run down and we couldnt even get a good nights sleep because this hotel was really sketchy. It smelled strongly of pot. Lights on the wall didnt work. One headboard was just sitting on the floor. There were people being loud and partying in the parking lot.

This place is very unsanitized during our stay. There were nothing but roaches crawling everywhere. The roach smell was ridiculous. No clean towels. Showers were not clean. This was a terrible terrible experience. I do not recommend anyone staying here. UNACCEPTABLE

This is not a hotel room, it’s like a storage room with beds. Ceilings falling down and cockroaches are running everywhere. I never experienced the hotel room with a worst condition ever. The pictures they advertised are very misleading. Sorry that I have to say this.

This property needs to be shut down. The room smelled like cigarettes, there were roaches and ants . The bed had dirty comforters with cigarette burns, shower had no shower curtain and more . Stayed for 15 minutes and left .

No mattress covers on bed, thin sheets, mattress stained and see through sheets, dirty and disgusting. Around parking lot partying and loud music, filthy, dirty, cluttered people stuff. The room suppose to be non smoking smelt of cigar and smoke. The a/c sucked in exhaust and smoke from outside and did keep room cool. Outright disgusting! Never again

From the moment I walked into the room. I knew that I messed up. The room stumped to high heaven took a quick shower. When I got out. I must have seen a 100 roaches. Trust me, save your money, go somewhere else.

I couldn’t even get into my room it wasn’t ready everything was destroyed in the hotel. And I never got my money back.

When we arrived I was told that there were no rooms with 2 double beds available. We were a party of 4 travelling and a full pull out couch and a single bed option wouldn't have worked for us. Then when I thought we would try to make it work, the debit card machine was down. If I'd not had cash we wouldn't have had a room. After consulting the others in our group, we decided it was best to find other accommodations.

Property is reasonably priced. A screw is missing from nightstand handle. I killed a cockroach there. The ceiling in the bathroom needs some repair. I slept well. The most important thing.

The hotel is not what they state on your site first they gave us the wrong room then what was requested. And when we got that taken care of the room we got the floor and bathroom was not clean. The room only had towels for two people and when I checked at the front office they didn't have any on hand. The TV didn't have a remote and I had to go to the front desk to get one and then found out that the TV didn't work.

This property was nasty . And they didn't do much to help us couldn't move our room and only wants to refund for one day when I slept in a dirty room for 3 days . Didn't offer to clean it or anything. I work at a hotel this is very unacceptable.

My room had roaches in the phone on the nightstand , in the nightstand, and various locations around the property. The other guests were nice. I think a lot of them live there. The police were there often a couple of times throughout the day for the 2 days I was there.

Lots of drinking and activity outside rooms and parking lot. Was overwhelmed with cigarette smell in our non smoking room. The room was dirty. Found a tick and cockroach in room. Upon checking out, showed a picture to desk staff of a nasty handprint on bathroom wall and tick found in room. Was told management would be informed. Will never use this hotel again or recommend. Nasty room and safety was questionable.

The room itself was disgusting. It was filthy — stains on the sheets, grime in the bathroom, and an overwhelming musty smell that hit me the moment I walked in. There was no TV in the room, which was bizarre and not what was advertised. Even worse, none of the electrical outlets worked, so I couldn’t charge my phone or use any of my devices. This place is a complete scam. Between the dirty conditions, broken amenities, and being kicked out after paying for two nights, I felt ripped off and disrespected. Avoid this place at all costs — sleep in your car if you have to. It would probably be cleaner and more reliable.

Rundown, dilapidated. Room not ready and not what was reserved. At least they gave me my money back so I could find another place.

Rented this room thinking it looked like the pictures. Ummm no, looks are very deceiving. Got there after a long 12 hour drive. Super dirty, bugs, dead mouse traps in rooms. Smoke in rooms. There was blue stains on the floor in the room, looked like blood from a crime scene. DON’T GO HERE!!! You’ll need a tetanus shot after and a scolding bath. My family and looked at 2 separate rooms, and neither of them both were disgusting. Old couches outside of the hotel, trash everywhere. My family left and went to another hotel that night. We did not feel safe at all.

Beds were advertised as queen but very narrow. Electric outlets are lose and don’t hold in chargers very well. Sliding curtains falling off wall and won’t close properly. Bed side lights are just the bulb and no shade or diffuser. This is not fault of the establishment but tenants are loud and inconsiderate of other guests in the middle of the night. Positives: cold mini fridge and working microwave. AC heating and cooling works well. Bed reasonable comfortable to sleep on.

Worst experience ever!!! Roach coach we asked for non smoking ended up in a room with ash tray and the smell of weed was intense had to leave the door open to air out thw room. All night long people arguing and slaming door at 2 am some one knocked on our door felt unsafe will never stay again did not have money to get another place blankets paper thin bed hard as brick sheet on one bed had blood stains tub dran has soap residue and hair in it disgusting and the water pressure had to fill the ice bucket to flush toliet sing barely enough water pressure to wash your hand and brush your teeth microwave dirty and did not work to heat up food absolutely worst experience

First got a non smoking room but that is all you could smell was cigarettes. Coughed all night. Got to the bathroom and the toilet paper was in the sink area on the opposite end from the bathroom. Long dark hair on shower wall. Long hairs stuck to towels. Was gross.

This hotel is a Catfish… First of all the pictures are not what the hotel looks like today!!! The room reeked of cigarettes and whatever else Kind of smoke, There was no smoke detector there was tape on the adjoining doors plaster that was not painted holes in the walls no bedskirts cable did not work white snow screen, And the toilet kept backing up and almost overflowing we stayed for one night but at 5 o’clock in the morning Telling the Hotel Attendant we were checking out!!! This is a trap Spot and a slum village!! This Hotels should not be allowed to even advertise on hotels.com it is a total catfish!!! When I tried to tell the management about the toilet backing up he offered to give me a plunger!! The tub was filthy had hair in the drain, No toilet roll holder, No back to the remote for the TV, And you could see through to the Outside of the outside door clear through the side and the bottom of door!!

When we got there. My lamp didnt work. Air conditioner unit stacked on top of pieces of wood. A roach trap full of roaches near the air conditioner. A roach was crawling up the wall. When i noticed this We tried to get our money back. When i contacted Expedia they said i could not het a refund . I had to take the loss. We checked out right away. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Very Disgusting place to stay even for one day.

There was mold in tub caulking, roaches, questionable interactions taking place, noisy with car radios loud late at night, a dirt bike. Didn't feel safe with my 7yr old. The only nice thing was the pool.

I complained about the vehicles playing loud music and nothing was done . I paid cash and returned the key card but I was so disgusted I did not ask for a refund . I went to a Best Motel in Chester off Rt. 10 and paid twice the amount to get a good night sleep. Bath shower floor was black with grime. Will never stay there again. Money lost was just a good experience of what not to do ever again.

Hotel has a big infestation of roaches. Cigarette burns holes in all the comforters. Smoke detectors are non existant. We had to be swiched to two different rooms becaude of all of the bugs. Staff doesn’t acknowledge anything and automatically refuses a refund.

Man the hotel was horrible it was to be 2 queens but we got 2 full and the beds was strained up and burnt holes and there was a dead mouse in the shower in the ceiling and no refrigerator and one of the windows was busted out board up and the ac leaked like a river

My big issue with this place is that the heater in the room did nothing and the sheets were really thin. I get this place is cheap and you get what you paid for, but normally the heater works. I'm glad I had a blanket.

This hotel had lots of outside traffic all night long. Asked for an extra towel and never even got one. No coffee in the room, floors were nasty, this hotel definitely needs a LOT of work.

When we got to our room it was dirty, a cake of used soap was still in the tub. The water in the tub was leaking and would not turn off. It was leaking just enough to make an awful noise. When I went to take a shower the hot water would not turn on. So I didn’t get to shower unless I wanted a cold shower. So no hot water in the shower! I slept on top of the covers. Do not stay here it is awful.

Iwhen I first got here they going tell me the room I boooked wasn’t available I had a room with a king bed then they switch me out cause i ask for smoking. I told them it was fine I stick with the king but still switch me up. Then when I get to my room the tv doesn’t work I call them and ask is there any connection to the tv they say they was going fix it I had to keep calling back for someone take a look after a hour went by I call again then they say everybody tv doesn’t work but I ask some people that stay there it does work they put me in room that was half way finish, and they just didn’t want to deal with the situation, I told them they can give me the room I requested if it was so much of hassle to fix a television, roaches coming from crack of the walls and had to wait 15 mins for the water get hot.

Hotels needs a little upkeep

The room was in need of repair or condemning. There was mold in the bathroom ceiling as well as space between the shower walls and ceiling showing wires in the shower. Holes half patched in the wall and ceiling as well as peeling paint.

The other hotels for this price are located in blanford area of Petersburg you won't be happy in Petersburg.

The door had about inch crack in it where cold air came in the bathtub was not cleaned and the floor was not swept the pillow was hard and lumpy

Room was dated bed was old, not comfortable and dipped in the middle. Bathroom was clean and had hot water. Just stayed one night while driving through. I wouldn’t stay again didn’t feel like the safest place to be.

Convenient location to interstate as well as convenience stores and restaurants. Most of all the staff. Very helpful. Wish I had all their names to personally thank them here, but want the hotel management know what a great friendly, helpful Front desk staff they have. Out of other places stayed at. Will be coming back to stay. Travel for work and times have to stay from one week up to a month in the area. Thank you Roadway. You all have my vote

Clean Safe place to stay. Busy at times. Have stayed before and accomodations were great. Rates are great for the traveling working population. Front desk staff are fantastic and helpful. Even remember who you are, which is nice as well as welcoming. Will stay again when passing through the area for work.

I wouldn’t stay here if you are a person who has a job and needs to be up the next morning. Noisy atmosphere, just a typical road side motel. The bed was comfortable and it’s what was needed for a just a few hours. Basic room, condition was so so. And I noticed a roach in the corner of the ceiling when I was getting ready in the morning, which prompted me to shake out my little belongings I had.

I like the location. I didn't like that roaches from the room got in my bags and my food. I didn't realize it until driving to work and roaches from room was in my car on the dashboard and windshield and coming out my shoes. I missed work because of this.

Being one of the only available hotels I had no choice but to stay here for a night and it was terrible. The room was dirty and there was a hole in the ceiling about the shower, dirty sheets, along with cockroaches.

The staff was really polite. I had a problem finding my room and one of the staff was kind enough to walk me to my room.

i like the friendliness of staff but the room was so dirty! i was on the road for awhile so i needed a room to rest. when i got to the room all i seen is roaches everywhere (dead and alive) i was going to ask to switch rooms but was scared i was going to get one that was worse!

The price was higher and the male clerk was rude. The first night drunk underaged children were running around. The 12yr old boy passed out on the sidewalk 2 doors down from my room

Very old property, an old wash rag was left in the shower so I know it wasn't properly cleaned. Top cover was also soiled with a stain. They also had a full-size refrigerator in the room. A real turnoff unless your living there.

I left earlier because I suffered bed bugs and roach bites over 2/3 of my body. My service cat got bite by something, probably a spider. His entire mouth and chin is swollen. It's difficult for him to eat. I can't sleep because of the itching from the bites.
