Room was clean. One elevator out of service and the other was past due of its inspection. Free breakfast was mid at best. Do better please Holiday Inn

There were 2 elevators in the hotel and 1 of them was broken the entire time we were there, which was during UMD graduation week, so there were a lot of guests at the hotel. There was a Keurig coffee machine in the room, which was nice, but everyday I would have to go down to the front desk to ask for coffee and cups. I don't understand why the cleaning people didn't leave those items each day, because they were in our room everyday. The bathroom was clean and nice. The mattress was comfortable. There was plenty of parking at the hotel, but they still charge $6 a day for parking. The free breakfast was very good.

Pos: -Room was clean. Sheets and pillows were comfortable. -Breakfast was good (dining area needs expanding, getting a seat at peak period was tricky). -Parking is ok. Paid $6/night. -Neighbourhood was decent and I felt safe. Neg: -the room intercom wasn’t working and I had to leave my room to the level floor to make a simple request. -Window needs cleaning int and ext. -The ladies at the reception could smile more. It felt like my interaction with them was a border. Lol I would recommend.

We had a very late/early morning arrival and they were able to help us out. They also decorated the lobby and had treats to celebrate for the UMD graduates. That was a very nice touch. We also enjoyed the breakfast.

Breakfast was quick and we had room to sit, but it's a cheap American Breakfast. Eggs, sausage, biscuits.... What I expected.

The staff were very nice and helpful but the property was not maintained well and the AC and elevator unit were very loud and it kept us up at night.

Apparently a standard room means you only get the rooms that’s are available, even if there are only single occupancy rooms available, and even if you specifically booked a double occupancy room. The staff was unhelpful and even rude at times.

Pros: The location was good for what we needed, parking was easy and there was a pretty good selection for breakfast.

It was a nice property very clean. The staff was friendly. The gym was decent. The only crazy thing is that the elevator only had one elevator car. But overall is great experience love the location.

My stay at the College Park Holiday Inn was very pleasant. The room was clean and smelled fresh, and the bed was quite comfortable. The front desk staff were friendly and professional and the hotel was quiet. I would absolutely stay here again.

Your rooms need better A/C units and carpet. Bathroom and Bed were good but carpet is old and needs to be replaced.

When we first checked in, we replaced on the 7th floor. Went to our room, the smell was so bad in the room, it smelled like mildew, the carpets were wet inside the room. Went back down to the desk and asked for a different room. We were then placed on the fourth floor. The hallway still smelled like mildew and our room smelled like men’s cologne every time the air-conditioning came on. The floors were absolutely dirty and wet. See picture below). Had to wear shoes every time we walked around the room. The air conditioning unit was very loud and it did not get very cool in the room even when the temperature was set for 66. The rooms were very humid. During our stay, we saw a worker spray the hallway carpets with chemicals. My daughter has very severe allergies and this cause lots of problems. There was no working vent in the bathroom so when you took a shower, the water was steaming hot and nowhere for the steam to go. As for the shower, the water was very hot, barely any cold water. I had to leave early one morning, there was no one at the front desk and there was a bum in the lobby, asking for money. No security present. The pool was very clean and taking care of. I have always stayed at a Holiday Inn, but this by far was the worst Holiday Inn I have ever been to and I am shocked that they are allowed to have visitors with these types of conditions, where the carpets are wet on every floor. The whole hotel smells like mildew. And the floors are so disgusting.

Me and my husband stayed 2 nights. It says cancel or change booking for free but theyll charge you 100 dollars to do it. We arrived hotel lobby is nice. Went up to 7th floor. Fast elevator. Room smelled like URINE. It was strange because the room itself was clean. Idk what the smell was im not sure if i want to but its enough to make me never go back there. I will never get that smell out of my mind it was absolutely disgusting. They were fully booked do we couldnt change rooms. Ill book elsewhere next trip to CP.

My experience was overall good, but I wasn’t advised ahead of check-in that parking was not free. Even thought it was just $6, it would’ve been nice to be made aware. Also the room was clean, but they definitely did not mop the bathroom floor. There were also towels that were not cleaned/stained.

The overall experience was good the room felt very moist for some odd reason.

Hotel wasnt bad. The room though had its questionables. Like the AC that doesnt go below 66degrees... howver it clearly was warmer than 66 in the room. I was sweating. Also the fridge in the room barely worked... it was the coldest setting and it did almost nothing. Staff got me in and out pretty quick, shower was nice and the bed was nice.

It was our first time staying here. The parking was very convenient and felt safe. The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. I had to change from a king bed room to a 2-queen room when I arrived and they gladly made the change. I will caution people to request rooms away from the elevators…they ran all night and were loud enough to keep us awake part of the night. The room itself was clean and had comfortable beds but in general it felt a little old and tired.

The front desk staff was not courteous or patient. They said that they would document me arriving late for my check in and also for a late check out but did not do that. The hotel ended up charging me for something I shouldn't have been charged since I called and spoke to a person at the front desk saying my reservation to check in is good for 24hrs.

The location was very convenient to where we had to go. But we had a noisey humidifier in our room and if we turned off, theres a musty smell in the room. It was only 2 nights. So we put up with it. Will not do that again. They did have a good breakfast layout.

The room had a dehumidifier apparently due to a moisture problem. It felt very damp and smelled of mildew. Coffee maker in the room did not have regular coffee pod and when asked for one at the front desk they didn’t have any. We had to pay to park our car. The outdoor pool was uncovered and the water was green with debris floating in it. Breakfast was of poor quality - the potatoes were bland and overcooked, the scrambled eggs were dry and the pancake maker was not working.

is full. Then, they change it after I mentioned that I am going to complain to the company. The rooms are dirty. There was a kid pants from the previous costumers under the chair. All the towels had stains so we have to use paper towels to dry our hands. We were lucky that we had our bath towels with us. Also, in our last night, I bad smell came from the bath tub. The only good thing about the hotel is good hot breakfast. DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY.

I had one issue...they were doing repairs at the property and the fumes from paint and other chemicals they were using affected our breathing and i have chronic asthma and my sister as well, we were not warned of the condition until it overwhelmed us. My was given another room and compensate for her attack but no one else was taken in consideration for their health. I booked 4 rooms for this stay and nothing was done on my behalf...very disappointed because we were visiting because of a death in the family.

It's a highway hotel, almost a motel, but they charged for parking. The front desk staff were short tempered bordering on rude. But the location was convenient.

When we arrived, they had our whole hallway covered in plastic and several workers uotside our door talking loudly for a couple hours while we tried to relax. Besides that, it was an ok place to stay- bed was clean and comfortable!

The room had been serviced, but the housekeeping failed to refresh the towels and wash cloths. There was no shower curtain and the water in the shower remained ice cold as well as at the sink. Overall my night was good.

Just a pain navigating out of Hotel to go North on Rte 1. Also parking after 9pm requires you to park very far from entrance.
