    I don’t typically stay at this location while in College Park, but reserved here as my normal hotel was booked due to graduation. I was hesitant because of SOME of the reviews, so I wanted to leave mine to say that I definitely would stay here again, without hesitation . It was clean, comfortable, and the breakfast good with plenty of seating in the dining area. No issues whatsoever.

    Laundry facilities ruined several items of our clothing. Set machine to cold and it used HOT water. Front desk had no supplies or quarters for the machine. "Personal items" section at from desk was completely empty when all i.needed was a single band aid.

    Hampton Inn emailed us a confirmation April 10th at 12:30PM for 4/13 to 4/15. They emailed us on Monday April 13th at 4:45PM and told us we were cancelled because they were overbooked. We are touring DC and now left with no room for the next 2 days. On April 14th at 2:58AM they charged us a $204.87 cancellation fee for not showing up. If I didn't have charge card alerts active, I would not have known until my charge card statement was available. We complained to Hampton Inn and are still waiting for a refund. If I had cancelled, I would be charged $204.87. But when Hampton Inn cancels its sorry, good luck finding somewhere to stay.

    I requested to have a quiet room. Thankfully I was put on the 5th floor, but unfortunately it was on the side of the building closest to the intersection. I did not hear people in the hotel, but the road nose was very loud and I could hear the ice machine that was also near by. The ice machine on that floor was older and did not dispense ice even though it made a lot of noise. The ice machine on the next floor was newer and worked. Staff was friendly. The breakfast was nice. My son was disappointed that they only served sausage all weekend and no bacon, but I thought it was still nice to have eggs and a meat along with waffles. The bed was very hard and my body was sore from sleeping on it. We stayed here because it was close to the college and had breakfast and we got a good deal. If we got a good deal we would probably stay here again, but bring something to sleep on and request a room on the even side.

    Pretty good value for the area. My only complaint was the breakfast, it was not very good. The cereal and make your own waffles were good but the bacon and omelets were not very good. Just like most hotel chains they have really cut back on the quality of their breakfast offerings.

    I was tired after driving 5 hours and I got there to check in and there was a lot of people waiting in line I lined up waiting to check in and Ali ignored me and called another person that arrived five minutes after me. I was so upset because he didn’t even noticed me waiting in line. The lobby stinks like pee and the elevator too. My room was 609 and the keys didn’t work so I went downstairs and I was given another key. The room wasn’t clean good I found a piece of glass in the floor, hair on the shower and the shower head with mold Ali staff ignored me because I’m Hispanic and my room wasn’t clean enough. The next morning it was so early for the cleaning staff to be vacuuming the other rooms.

    The hotel is close to Amtrak. I arrived at 11am. A room wasn’t available at that moment which was ok. I just stayed in my sister’s room. The woman at the front desk told me when a room was available she would let me know. Around 1:30 I called and spoke to a man who told me, he would call me back after dealing with a customer. He checked in two people, while my mom was downstairs checking in my brother. She made me come down, and the guy explained he forgot to call me back. People was checked it before me and I had been waiting since 11am . That was very poor customer service. Also they need to learn better. My sister’s room had to be changed because the sheets were very badly stained with yellow marks. My sheets had little stained on it as well on the other end of the bed. I did show it to the cleaning lady on my floor. She said they were clean but had a mark that doesn’t come out. New sheets should be order when that happens. I sleep on a hospital bed pad so I was ok. I also bring my own pillow cases.

    Clean. The mattress in our room was terrible. Breakfast was quite good. They ran out of teas that had caffeine. There was plenty of give and take but I don’t think it will be my first choice next time we come back into town despite the location.

    Breakfast was amazing and the location was extremely central. Highly recommended for anyone traveling to DC but not wanting to stay in DC yet wanting accessibility! Only thing that was negative about my experience was the fire alarm going off in the middle of the night with no type of incentives for the disruption. Really disturbed my rest for the next day I had ahead, but I know that wasn't something they could prevent :) Also, the doors did not seem the most secure, as a female traveler, safety is important. Thankfully, the staff was attentive and responsive so there were no issues.

    The staff were helpful. The breakfast was good. I also liked the cookies after hours. The coffee and tea bar was nice. The wheels on the room cart was barely working. Probably need a couple more room carts. The canister that was just for water on the coffee and tea bar strongly tasted of coffee and wasn't usable for tea or hot chocolate.

    Expedia messed up on overbooking our ideal room (king bed), so we took a double bed room instead. Besides that hiccup our stay was pretty much perfect. Great staff, the breakfast offerings were good, clean rooms and common areas. We plan on using them again when we come back to the area.

    I had seen a roach crawling on the nightstand and in the kitchen it was roaches where they didn’t clean the kitchen sanitize the room very well. I will not be staying there again and I used to stay there all the time.

    The hotel that was very rude. They were informed of my departure date and time and every day somebody was knocking on my door asked me was I checking out? I called down to the front desk. I asked him to please inform the housekeeping department that I was not checking out until Tuesday, September 2 and still even after calling to the front desk and being told that they would inform the housekeeping department they still Were knocking on the door several times after that phone calls at 12 in the morning asking me if I was even at the hotel when I had already been checked in and receive my keys, just very unprofessional

    Staff was very nice, welcoming, and accommodating. The property was clean overall. The rooms were a bit on the small size but got the job done. Bed was comfortable with adequate bedding. The continental breakfast was much appreciated and had decent selections to accommodate everyone’s needs and preferences. We were a bit disappointed that the gym was closed during our stay, as the proximity of the gym was one of our reasons for booking this particular property. As for the surrounding area, lots of bars and restaurants within walking distance. We would stay again.

    I was very disappointed with our recent stay. Unfortunately, the room and overall condition of the property did not meet expectations. Upon arrival, we noticed several issues right away. The room had a strong mildew odor, the fire detector was hanging off the wall, and the window curtains were held up with duct tape.     Very friendly staff, but the hotel seems old and not maintained. We had problem with the Heating freezing the first night. Repaired and still it did not work properly. Very hot second night. Were finally assigned a new room with no problems for the third night.

    Stayed in king suite-was perfect! The price made it even better. Traveled for a 4 day weekend sporting event with high schooler and my husband. The kitchen was not stocked (no big deal, able to use plates and utensils from buffet breakfast). Much more space than the pictures show, very comfortable, bathroom was large with separate sink which made for easier mornings. Daughter said the gym was one of the best for the money she’s ever used. TVs in both bedroom and living area made it very relaxing in between events. Full size fridge and microwave. Neighborhood was good, especially compared to our past experiences over the last two years in the university area.

    Super outdated hotel. The rooms had actual ACs in them that were too close to the bed and loud. Kitchen was very outdated as well. Aside from the property, it was fine. The breakfast was great and the staff was nice. We were also able to bring our dog which was a plus.

    My stay with this particular hotel for the past 5 weeks has been horrible. To the point I have opened a complaint case with Hilton's Corporate office and if there is no resolution at that point, I will be contacting the better business bureau. The staff there is horrible to say the least. They have a staff person Sue that was very dismissive and rude. If I did nt have a membership to stay at other Hilton establishments, I would never recommend the Hilton. Marriott is moving higher on my list after this experience.

    I can never recommend this hotel to my love ones. Great facility with poor management. No staff available when needed, Room care very ridiculous, I spend 3 night couldn't get Room cleaned, even a tower to bath. Whenever I called the front desk, they will be like ok we are coming, and no one will show up. They're even understaffed. In my presence, one staff member felt off and was rushed to the hospital. Apparently, she has worked for more than 16 hours. I would have loved to attached pictorial of my room after 2 days, no room service.

    The room overall was nice. Unfortunately, there were a couple of issues that made our stay difficult. First of all, the room description said that it slept 5. The indication was that both the couch and the smaller chair in the room were pullouts. Only the couch was. Not sure where fifth person sleeps? Second…the air conditioning was loud and it never cooled off. We woke up earlier than planned to just get on the road. This lack of attention to detail is not what we’ve come to experience at a Hampton Inn. Great staff…but we were left a little sleepless.

    My family and I travel for work. My teen boys stay at hotels a lot. I gage the hotel based on their rating, because they're very critical. They said this hotel is 6 out of 10. We stayed in a king suite one bedroom suite. Our complaints are the bathroom should be between the living area and the bedroom. Also, there is only a microwave, but large fridge and a mini fridge. They have a small selection for breakfast. It's enough to be satisfied. We will stay again. They are under construction, but that didn't bother us.

    All of the staff was friendly and helpful; from check-in to checkout. They are having construction right now, but it’s understandable properties must do that from time to time.     This is somewhat older hotel, but it was very clean and comfortable. The hot breakfast was great and since we stayed for a week it was nice to have different items offered each morning. The front desk staff were all very friendly and it was very convenient to get to a Metro station for our excursions into DC. The Wifi was a little bit slow but otherwise reliable, and it would have been nice to have more than one chair in the room, but overall it was a great place to stay at a very reasonable price.
