Great hotel but the shuttle from the airport at night is horrible

I bought a turkey salada and took it my room. However, it tasted funny and could not finish it. The following morning I noticed that the label said it expired 5 days earlier. As a consumer, I probably have to check the label but it is not that kiosk had too many items to keep maintain and there were only two salada. They should have keeping track of freshness of their food. During the check out, I mentioned about the expired food and asked for the refund on the salada. The FD took my information including the payment method I used and time of purchase. However, there is no follow up. That was the only complain, however. Room was clean, breakfast was good. Thankfully, I did not get food poisoning from this experience.

It's a good place for the price.

People were really nice and the place was well kept. I’ll be coming back to this hotel on my next visit here.

I just wasn’t aware the shuttle didn’t drop off at international check in. . . So we had to shuttle there. Otherwise all was well!

We spent the night at the rooms were absolutely amazing. The beds were so soft and so were the pillows. It was very quiet very clean. We would definitely recommend you stay here.

The pillow cases in our room were not clean! My reservation was made several months ago and paid in full! We arrived to the property @ 1130 pm to find my room was given away!!! We had to have the front desk person contact the manager and after nearly 15 minutes we had a room with the correct beds!! No apologies no nothing.

Staff was lovely getting us checked in and the room was great. The bed was comfy for a good night sleep and pillows the same (we travel frequently and there are often times where the beds and pillows are intolerable!). The breakfast buffet was a nice surprise as I forgot it was even part of our stay - not the best not the worst and got us our nutrition for the morning. Would recommend to anyone staying close to the airport. Parking on-site was nice as well as we picked up our rental car.

The breakfast was good and I didn't expect so much hot food, so that was good. I thought it was a simple continental breakfast. The people replenishing the food were professional and personable. The person at the reception desk, who also served as the bartender when I was there on the evening of May 9th had an attitude. She was talking to people casually who were in the lobby and after waiting for five minutes or so, I called to her and she rolled her eyes as if I was disturbing her chat with the people in the lobby. She did not want to initially give me the happy hour price for my drink, even though I had been waiting before it ended and my watch said I still had a couple of minutes to go. The worse thing, is that I have allergy issues and had attended my niece's outside graduation, which caused my eyes to be red and she accused me of being drunk and said I didn't need another drink. I was highly offended by this and let her know that I had allergy issues and found her comments insulting. She did not apologize and her demeanor continued to be less than friendly as she served me.

Very good breakfast - eggs and yogurts fruit and every bread you could imagine. Good coffee. Family hotel from what I could see. Very popular. The bedroom was fantastic, huge room very comfy beds, we slept like babies after a long flight.

Everything was seamless and amazing. The AC unit could’ve been a little less noisy, and air filters need to be changed by the maintenance, but the staff was great! Think you may want to look into the maintenance staff.

Staff are pleasant and make a good first impression. Breakfast was basic (Ive had better), and the breakfast staff were somewhat annoying (Too much hovering and fixing food presentation while guest waited). Parking area felt safe and entering/exiting parking area was easy. Lastly, its proximity to the Ruby Tuesday Restaurant makes it ideal especially for lunch and dinner options. Would book again next time I visit ATL.

The room was much bigger than expected. Beds were comfy.

Our room had small amounts of garbage tucked away in corner not noticeable upon arrival. The refrigerator was broken, it was replaced later during our stay. The room smelled like smoke. The couch has a foul order and felt like bugs crawling that bit me. The bathroom sink malfunctioned. Overall the Hyatt had multiple issues and we are not happy. And we demand money be refunded by the hotel in the amount of 40% of our cost stay now. the pool was not open. This was not informed to us prior to reservation. Room had small amounts of garbage tucked away in corner not noticeable upon arrival. Really disappointed as the main reason I chose this hotel was to have a swim in their pool after a long flight to help my back. But I was told it wouldn't open until the end of May - it was so hot outside! It would have really helped if the open dates were stated on the amenities. I was told I could go to the hotel next door and pay $30 for a swim! It would have been nice if they had offered a free pass for one swim.

Due to a certain airline shutting down , I wasn't able to make the trip. I reached out to the hotel and hotels.com and nobody wanted to help me at all. So I was charge for a room that I didn't even go to. I never checked in at the hotel either.

The manager on had a nasty attitude. She seemed like she was annoyed that we were there. She eventually started to be polite. The rest of the staff were nice and helpful. The light fixture in our room had rust on it and the refrigerator barely worked.

The website advertised a 24/7 shuttle, but it only runs from 5 AM to 12 AM with no details mentioned. I received this information after the cancellation deadline expired, and my 6 AM flight required me to pay for a taxi.

The constant activity made me feel very uncomfortable and unsafe. Unfortunately, the shuttle service was equally disappointing. It took over an hour for me to be picked up, and I later learned the shuttle was shared with another hotel. I waited at the pickup location that multiple people had confirmed was correct, but the driver repeatedly filled the shuttle at a different stop and returned without ever coming to mine. My phone battery was nearly dead, and with nowhere to charge it, I had to ask my mother to call the hotel for assistance. When the shuttle finally arrived, the staff were condescending and blamed me for the confusion rather than helping resolve the situation professionally.

Didn't have a microwave but it was still a good stay

Staff were nice and helpful and it is really close to the car rental centre. The main negative thing was the breakfast. I chose this hotel among many partly because of the breakfast reviews. During our stay the staff did not turn up for work and there was no hot food. Even the toaster was not working. Another issue was rubbish left near the lift shaft all during our stay. The bathroom was tiny compared to the size of the room and the shower was barely warm at maximum.

I arrived and they couldn’t find my reservation. They worked with me to get it sorted out and made sure I was in my room as soon as possible. The property was clean and the staff was warm and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. Workout center was well maintained.

It was perfect. Just the van to the hotel, is hard, it goes over packed always.

The only issue I had was that I was placed across from a room with a dog that barked and howled all night. When I called about the issue, the staff never addressed it so I didn’t sleep well until the dog left.

The TV viewing options was quite limited. And, it took longer than expected to have someone answer questions when I checked out.

Staff very friendly from walking into the door. Very nice and clean. The outside doesn’t look the best and I was kind of skeptical, but the inside looks very nice.

I have stayed at this hotel several times. I liked the location to the airport and Marta transit station. The hotel staff are very helpful. The hotel was very clean and had a very pleasant smell throughout the hotel, even on our floor (4th floor). I would stay here any time I'm in the Atlanta area. Great stay!!

I had a very good experience parking lot was safe and patrolled by security also the beds were very comfortable. I woke up feeling so rested. Front desk staff was also very nice. I would definitely stay there again.

I lost my earring in the shuttle from the airport. In between a trip to the airport, Michun Anderson got on his hands and knees and found it for me. He definitely went above and beyond to help me. It made my day.

The customer service was wonderful from checking in and during the stay. Kudos to the shuttle service the driver was very helpful and friendly.

This trip was a quick weekend trip with family. The room was nice and clean, staff was decent, and the overall hotel was nice.

Room was not clean, there was dental floss sticking on the wall in the bathroom. The room was wheelchair accessible with chair and removable shower. I did not request this. I reserved a regular king bed room!! Also the mattress was lumpy soft and not firm.

We were disappointed that the shuttle did not let us off at our terminal (American) which is located on the North side but instead let us off at the Delta terminal which is on the South side. This entailed quite a bit of additional walking and a little confusion.

The only problem we had was the kitchen lady who would stand in the serving window and just stare at everybody. She did this every single day that we stayed. It was rather creepy.

Price gouge for parking was told $18 a night. Was in fact up to $18 for over 6 hours. So after being parked for 4 hours we went to dinner and had to pay $16. Then 10 hours later after check out we had to pay $18 for a total of $34 for 15 hours of outdoor parking. then notified 24 hours later that my 90 minute early check in would cost me an added $25 fee. Which was NOT told to me at checking . Place is a complete rip off and Hyatt could do better.

I wish my stay was longer. The room was well laid out and had everything we needed. Things were beyond clean and smelled fresh. The staff was attentive and kind. Noticing I had a one-year old they asked if I wanted a travel crib and had one placed in my room before I had even unloaded. Breakfast was beyond the standard fare with spinach egg bites and French toast sticks being a highlight for us. Lots of items to choose from. The airport shuttle (which was why we booked this hotel) was prompt and a short drive to the airport. Will book here again to save some headache at ATL.

The mattress seemed a little old or softness might have been that I prefer a more firm one. Transportation to and from the airport was on time and the drivers efficient and friendly.

Breakfast was cold so I had to warm it up. No microwave in the room. It was spring break and my grandson wanted to go to the pool but the pool was not open. Other than these few things our stay was good.

The room was clean and comfortable; however, the sink for the kitchenette was nonfunctional as the faucet handle was missing. Also, the top of the small end table in the sitting area was loose and practically falling off of its base. Also, the breakfast options were nice, but all of the hot options were cold.

Nice staff , but they gave key to another couple to my room , who walked in at 11 pm into our Room where my husbaflnd and child were sleeping . No amends made . No care in the world for this happening . No resolution from the property

Room was clean and when they saw we had our dog with us they offered to move us from the 5th floor to the 1st. Angelia was amazing!! The goat if you will we had a issue of people being very loud all night and running up and down the hall when we made her aware of this in the morning she assured us it would be taken care of and she did just that the next 2 night was great she was professional respectful and apologetic. She made our stay amazing!!

The bathroom light switch timer, in room 502, needs to be longer. It turns off while you are in the shower.

THEY DIDN'T HAVE OUR RESERVATION. They said they are full and can't accommodate our reservation that we made on Expedia. So we had to search for another hotel at night.

I didn’t like my room at all. It was a handicap room. There was just a shower and toilet in the bathroom. No place to put anything down. The sink area was small and not lit well enough. The noise from doors slamming shut started before dawn. I don’t get much sleep

Had to book hotel last minute when flight cancelled. It was perfect for what I needed. Free airport shuttle, close to airport, good bed and pillows, hot shower and most of all, hot, free good coffee in lobby at 5am. The room was very clean as was property. I felt very safe as a lone, female traveler.

Thie was the second time we stayed at your hotel. The first time the fire alarm went off and we had your grandkids in the parking lot around three in the morning and your staff never told us it was safe to come back in. The second time my truck was broken in to in your parking lot while your security was sitting in the lobby. So i do not believe we will be staying with you anymore.

Went down stairs at 539 to catch the 6 am shuttle. Driver came in and said good morning my bags was outside I run my key in and went outside and she left at 602 when she knew I was getting on her shuttle she said I will but your bags in and be ready well went out at 602 and she was driving off the guy working at the desk said oh she left not sure why she left well you will have to catch the 630 shuttle so I had to pay for uber to come cause I had to get to the airport

We would have given this Hyatt, a one star, but because of the good hospitality, we gave it 2. Hard to believe this is a Hyatt! It is quite old and rundown with few amenities, not even a little convenience store to buy things. There is a bar and a few food options, but no restaurant. We had to go across the street to a different hotel for a restaurant. The cleanliness in the room was just OK. Overall, we would not stay here again.

We discovered the room was not equipped with a hair dryer. We called the front desk to enquire about the hair dryer. A new hair dryer was delivered in less than 3 minutes!

Due to ice storms this past weekend, there were lots of flight delays. When we got to Atlanta, we had to reschedule a flight to the next day. Quinton was our shuttle driver and he met us at the Atlanta airport. He took our luggage and stowed it in the back of the bus as we boarded the bus. A we were pulling away, he made certain that everyone was on the right bus before proceeding. He gave us the route info and advised the bus schedule for departure from the hotel to the airport. Check in was quick and we were in our room quickly. Clean, spacious room... convenient location to the airport.

I didn’t feel safe after seeing three cars all with broken out car windows and glass on the ground in their parking lot. In addition, the parking area was super dark and they charge $18.00 a day to risk your rental car being broken into.

Waited in the cold over 40 minutes for the shuttle from ATL, despite calling twice. Other families were left waiting as well. Many other comparable hotels had shuttles come by 2-3 times during that time. Finally, we just took an UBER. Hotel desk attendant offered us free water? When asked if they could comp the UBER, she said that she would talk to management, but I still have heard nothing.

All of the staff were amazing, especially the two ladies at the front desk. We had an issue with the toilet and they were going to change rooms for us but maintenance was able to get ours fixed. We enjoyed our stay and felt like we were in a safe place.

TV remote died, hair dryer only worked on cool setting, no pen or paper available in room. No travel cups for morning coffe in lonny and when i asked for some I was told to wait while host chatted with colleague. Then she got them, held on to them while chatting with shuttle driver, watched me finally make a cup only to say "you can't bring coffee on the bus" That was the final of 3 unpleasant experiences with staff. Not my typical Hyatt experience. I'm generally a big fan.

This establishment is my preferred place of accommodation. The staff was excellent, with Shonette receiving particular commendation. The recognition as guest of the day was a noteworthy benefit. Throughout the stay, I felt distinguished and appreciated.

Our flight arrived 7 hours before check-in but the front desk accommodated us and gave us our room(for a fee) which let us enjoy the day in Atlanta without dragging luggage around.

The staff was pleasant and professional, and I had no issues with them at all. However, the room itself was a major concern. There was a strong, unpleasant odor that made me feel nauseous by the next morning. The air conditioning unit also seemed to have a mildew smell. In addition, the toilet seat was visibly dirty upon arrival. While housekeeping did come promptly to clean it, that’s something that should have been addressed before the room was given to a guest. Unfortunately, because of these issues, I do not plan on staying at this hotel again.

Although the check-in clerk was very nice, our room wasn't the cleanest. The rugs in the room were sappy and damp, and there were double doors that connected to another room. After requesting to be moved to a smaller room without connecting doors, for the safety of myself and my child, the second room had a large blood stain on the floor in front of the bathroom sink. Needless to say, we cut our stay short and checked out the next morning. However, I'm still being charged for the full booking and incidental fees for the full trip, even though I didn't stay and I checked out early ahead of schedule.

The room was good. Breakfast was ok. Their. Customer service is where I have the most issues. I was double charged. When I check in, I was told that I had 2 reservations but they will cancel one. That never happened. When I called I was on hold for 31 minutes and no one answer. I waited 1 hour and called back again and was on hold for 38 minutes and no one answer. I sent email with no response. I reported the transaction to my bank.

I had a very clean spacious room near the Atlanta airport. It's a little more xpensive than some of the other airport hotels, but also nicer. The shuttle ride to the airport only takes 10 minutes. I would stay here again.

At the bar, the service was slow and food pretty marginal. Otherwise a good stay.

This was a great quick stay after a late flight. The room was very spacious and well laid out. The bed was incredibly comfortable. Great value for the money. My only suggestion is that the air conditioning/heating unit which came in every few minutes was quite loud and made it hard for me to initially fall asleep.

Eggs were over-cooked, and servers were slow replenishing the food. Our housekeeper had to be asked the make the beds and replace dirty towels for clean ones. However, all staff were very pleasant and helpful.

Great option for a reasonable stay. We needed a 3 bed option and were able to get that with reasonable pricing for parking, breakfast, and location. The breakfast was mediocre at best and continuously out of all the things (including plates and silverware) but staff was trying to take care of it. (They addressed needs well just didn't prevent them.) Room was clean and quiet. Beds were comfortable. There's limited eating in the area but the restaurant at neighboring hotel in parking lot was great with excellent service too. We would stay again.

Check in was smooth we flew in early and they accommodated for us because it was my sister’s birthday so they were able to get us a room right across from each other. Always checked in on us and made sure everything was to our liking would come back again.

I liked that it was conveniently located by the airport, the cleanliness, friendly staff, breakfast options and easy check in. I didn't like that there were not a lot of restaurants close only one was Ruby Tuesday which was fine.

Airport shuttle was excellent. Staff friendly. Room could have been cleaner : saw finger prints/smudges on the toilet handle. We always carry our own Clorox wipes for this reason.

She was efficient and assisted me in understanding my fees and how they work. :) Ivory was also exceptional, and she went above and beyond to assist me with some room needs. Others were great too, whose names I do not recall!

Checking in was wonderful, and I was so pleased with everything until........I took my shoes off and walked on some WET carpet by the AC unit-it had been leaking. I then needed to iron some clothes, only to find I had a Board, but no Iron. They gave me one, so I was still hopeful. The Bed was great, Breakfast was amazing; not enough equipment in the Exercise room though. I asked for a Late Check-Out, and was told it was granted; while dressing, I was disturbed TWICE by Housekeeping, drilling me on what time I was scheduled to leave-THIS was extremely annoying. I informed them that they should have checked with the Front Desk-I even had my "Do Not Disturb' sign on the door, which they conveniently ignored. The Shuttle Bus Drivers were the highlight of the Staff!!

The Hyatt is my absolute favorite hotel, however we had an awful experience this go round. We asked for towels in person and by calling the help desk for 2 days and never received them. We stayed 4 nights, finally the last day we went downstairs and received some. We were told that the hotel was sold out and there were no towels. We had to go to the store to buy face towels. One of the elevators did not work, so instead of waiting 10 minutes to get on the elevator we took the stairs to and from the 5th floor. Rather than waiting on the elevator, one lady was so upset she had to drag her luggage down the stairs so she could make it to the airport on time. For what we paid for this hotel for 4 nights, it’s not unreasonable to at least receive fresh towels daily. No compensation was offered for our inconveniences and they have audacity to charge $18 a day for parking, and one day the hot water was not working. Smh, I will definitely think twice before I choose the Hyatt in the future.
