Clean, great breakfast and the staff is so amazing! The GM, Anna, was so helpful with our large family that was in town for our son's wedding. Debbie at the front desk was one of the nicest and most helpful hotel staff that we have encountered in our travels, she went above and beyond to make sure our family enjoyed their stay and that everyone was checked in and ready for the big wedding events. All of the staff in the hallways would greet everyone and asked if they needed anything. This will be our go to hotel every time we visit the Albany area. This staff is a shining example of what "5 star" customer service is! Thank you for making our 5 day stay so memorable and pleasant, we appreciate your impeccable service.

The staff were courteous, polite and provided great service. The front desk ladies were very professional , funny and so nice! Wish we could stay more nights. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone! We stayed in Home2 and their staff definitely need to get some training from the staff in ( clocktower hotel) .

Staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast every morning, with hardworking, helpful and friendly food service workers. Parking was readily available and convenient on all days of my stay. Hotel is conveniently located, yet set back and quietly private.

The property and the room were clean. No issues with noise at night. Plenty of hot water. Staff pleasant and helpful. Breakfast had your typical hot and cold items. Breakfast staff were extremely accommodating on the weekend and weekdays. Pool was being cleaned so unable to use.

The person who checked us was having some computer issues and was delayed dealing with someone before us, but when he was able to get to us, he was so apologetic and helpful. He couldn't have handled it better. Then, two other things happened. My daughter needed some toiletries, and he provided them so quickly (what a relief that I didn't have to go back out so late at night). And, I left a personal item behind. When we came back through Albany on Sunday, I was able to swing by the hotel, where I picked up the item, wrapped in plastic with my name on it. It was so easy to retrieve and so thoughtful. THANK YOU! Really nothing.

The hotel was clean and very convenient to Albany and the airport. My only struggle was getting clear help regarding the WiFi. I was traveling for work and this did inconvenience me a bit. I would rebook but would really like better help regarding the WiFi in the future .

Room was clean with a large tv. Breakfast was great. The staff is amazing, everyone was super friendly and very helpful. Parking is easy and the location is right off the main road so it was easy to get around.

There’s an ice machine, washing machine, basic snacks, coffee, hot water and ice water and tea available in the lobby till 10 pm. Cookies or brownies show up after 2 in the afternoon. They allowed me a little wiggle room for check out time. Big dining room and a free breakfast that was really something. Freshly made scrambled and crisp bacon or sausage being brought out continually. Fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal with a variety of milks, pastries, oatmeal….didnt see everything that’s the highlights. Im a tea drinkers and the water from the air pump was HOT. Vincent on maintenance never stopped. None of the employees stopped! Everyone was always in motion and always with a ready smile, even hugs. A side note: It appears that the families are put on lower floors and older singletons like myself are above the noise. MUCH appreciated. Im reluctant to post this because this hotel will get busier and I might not be able to get a reservation in the future but this is a great place at a normal price. A real find.

Breakfast they actually had gluten free breakfast

The hotel itself was very good, but the night staff was very non responsive in resolving an issue with the guests in the adjacent room who were very, very loud until after 2:00AM in the morning. Called desk twice and went down in person once. Staff finally went up to room, but noise contained after the staff left. Young teenagers in room for basketball tourney and staff should of have contacted the coach and had him address the issue.

Clean Wifi broken. Shower soap, conditioner , and shampoo containers all empty which I discovered once I was already in the shower. Shower/tub was slippery as it had no mat slipped and almost fell twice. I had to grab the shower curtain as there was no grab bar.

Clean and easy to get too Bed was really hard

This hotel is the BEST in Troy/Albany/Latham/Cohoes. I've been traveling to that location for the last 5 years and staying at a variety of places. This hotel is OUTSTANDING. It's affordable/comparable but WAY better than any other place I've stayed. Gym is well stocked and very clean, meeting rooms for work, the lobby is huge and has comfortable places to sit to work (as I waited for my room to be ready -- early arrival), the breakfast has a variety of hot food each day (so not all carbs) and fresh fruit, the staff is VERY well trained and kind, and the little things (like freshly brewed ice tea and sometimes cookies/brownies in the afternoon) were greatly appreciated. The room was spacious, remodeled, and clean with comfortable places to sit and work (not just a bed). I did not use the pool but I could see it from the gym, very clean and others enjoying it. The staff were always friendly, gave us an extra hour upon check out without any issue, and the breakfast staff were AMAZING and kind. I cannot say enough about this hotel. I am so sad my work in Albany is coming to an end as I finally found this place. THANK YOU.

The entire hotel was very clean. The room and bathroom were spotless. A somewhat small room, but laid out well and cozy. The sofa was a nice touch for watching TV. Very helpful staff. Our room was very clean, which is always my top priority so I was very happy with that aspect. The hotel staff was extremely polite and helpful and the hotel was centrally located with shopping nearby. The only minor issue that we had was that the indoor pool water was a bit cool for my taste, definitely not a deal breaker though. The beds and pillows were very comfortable. We will definitely be coming back next time we're staying in the Albany area.

Just some thoughts about the rooms- please shorten the length of the sink unit so one can sit on the toilet without being squeezed against the toilet paper holder. The toilet should be the standard height for adults and not so low. Also, we're not ready for a handicapped room yet but it wouldn't be that hard to install a grab bar in the tub so one can step out easily. The floor of the tub is higher than the floor so its a bigger step than you might think. there is literally nothing to grasp onto to make sure you don't slip.

Room with 2 queen beds badly needed additional lighting; 1970s / 1980’s style room and bathroom; powdered creamer and no caffeinated coffee for in-room coffee maker. Breakfast buffet options were ultra processed … no multigrain breads; cheese omelets heated from packaged, etc.

Room was clean. Pool was out of service which was not indicated on Expedia or the hotel’s website. Made this reservation based on the picture of the pool and bc my kids wanted to swim. Disappointed they did not advertise appropriately.

Hotel is nice and clean but they had to move my room 3 times due to first one not having working heat , second one wasn’t supposed to have rental due to deep cleaning project and than 3rd one the shower didn’t work at all.

Housekeeping found them and Treasure (I think his name is) called me and let me know he had them for me so we stayed here on our way back home to get the pills. We appreciated staff's diligence!

Stayed one night on a Sunday, because we didn’t want to drive home in the dark after a three-day walking pilgrimage from the Lake is the Blessed Sacrament to the shrine of the North American Martyrs. Room was quiet, bed was comfortable. Pool was good for swimming laps (entire pool is also 4-1/2 ft deep). Fridge in room was not very cold but the desk staff kindly put our food items and ice pack into a service fridge/freezer for us. Breakfast was excellent. We will definitely stay here again after next year’s pilgrimage!

Came here for family weekend for my child who attends UAlbany. Chose this hotel due to the location and the great reviews on room, cleanliness, staff, breakfast and the fact there was an in door pool for my toddlers! Check in was quick and easy. Breakfast was good fresh and plentiful for a continent style breakfast all included. The hotel was clean and updated and beds were comfortable and it was quiet. Pool was clean and we were the only ones using it Saturday morning after breakfast. I would stay here again if coming to visit in the future. Staff was amazing especially the breakfast staff. Therefore, our bed wasn't made, waste basket wasn't emptied, and cups weren't replaced. That Part Was Disappointing!!! My man & I were gone from 8am - almost 1pm, there was More Than Enough time to have gone into the room to freshen it up & restock the towels! The morning of checkout, Sunday, we went to the breakfast buffet which was absolutely delicious! My man actually had 2 plates! We took some coffee to go ~ Very Impressive spread! *It would have been nice to have been given the list of NEARBY PLACES to eat At CHECK-IN 🙄 Instead, I saw a pile on the counter when I was checking OUT 🥴 HORRIBLE!!! We stayed at the Clocktower Hotel for the weekend. The staff was amazing and very helpful, I loved the two girls my family and I met at the front desk. The hotel was pretty clean however both of the rooms had a smell that was not delightful (we booked 2 rooms) . The breakfast was ok, could've been better. The waffles were stale and honestly, there really wasn't much of an option. There were also no vending machines which kinda sucked.

It is hands down one of the cleanest hotels we have ever stayed in. The staff is top-notch, attentive, and respectful. Everything was immaculate. I have stayed in 5-star hotels that don't beat the cleanliness and courtesy of the staff here, they all deserve a raise! I was quite impressed. Check-in and check-out were a breeze. My family and I had a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I recommend this hotel to anyone looking for accommodations in the Albany area.

We were pleasantly surprised. Rooms seemed recent renovated. Friendly staff. Decent breakfast.

The bathroom renovation was nice, but hair, a purple spot in the tub, toothpaste in the sink an old washcloth and an empty Kleenex box

I received a test message in the morning to confirm our reservation. I then let them know that we would not be checking in until 1 AM. Upon our arrival I had my youngest daughter sleeping and carried her upstairs to a dirty room. It wasnt only dirty but i beleive someone elses room. There was an unmade bed and towels and clothes in the room. I tried to message them back on the app that they were using and call the front desk but there was no answer. I then had to go back down and find someone to see if we could get a different room. Little to say it was very upsetting.

Clean rooms, friendly staff, beds were comfortable. I chose this hotel based on reviews online, and it was consistent with most reviews. Would recommend.

Best location and good service.

This is a well maintained property, quiet location but has amenities typical of a property its size. Huge indoor pool and nice outdoor patio area (covered) to sit outside during the spring, summer and early fall seasons. Staff was top-notch.

Evidently the facet was broken They moved us to a 2 queen roon The room still had dirty sheets, trash etc finally got another room The process took ove 30 minutes Very inconvenient Desk staff tried to be helpful

If you stay make sure you don’t stay in the first floor it’s not quiet since all the pop whole staying there pass by and talk

Well it all starts at front desk,with a young gentleman who name is Treasure. So helpful a real pleasure to deal with,if you lose him your losing a real treasure.

Clean, comfortable beds, but lots of plumbing noise and leaks in ceiling.

Room was clean, staff very friendly, building pretty old and paint peeling from ceilings etc.

The hotel, overall, was clean, updated and in a good location. Inside and outside were very quiet. Our room was adequate, but a little small. Bathroom was very small. Breakfast had a lot of choices, but honestly (quality wise) was an overall disappointment. The staff was of the HIGHEST quality for friendliness and service. The pool was clean, and we actually had it all to ourselves when we went down. For what we paid, it was a GREAT choice that provided a great stay.

Could be cleaned better ( nose and finger prints by peep hole on door, table in dining room dirty and broken). Also the time date were way off on the TV

Easy stay nice people

The staff are very kind and welcoming. The facility itself was very clean. The room noce and clean. No musky odors at all like some other hotels I've stayed at. The surrounding area is very nice.

Only issue is that Apple Maps took me to another location. Once I put in street address it worked.

This property has been acquired and upgraded. It had lots of little nice touches. Otis Spunkmyer cookies were all taken but they do provide them along with ice tea, fruit water, hot coffe and hot tea. In our room was a mini fridge, a pod coffee maker, blow dryer and travel shampoos, etc. The lobby was decorated modern with various seating options. There is a workout room along with an inside pool that was open until 10p. Elevators were working properly and the staff was extremely friendly. I loved the text reminders of our upcoming stay giving me instructions for check in and who to contact with any questions.
