- Maintenance issues such as broken doors, furniture, and plumbing
- Unfriendly or unhelpful staff
- 5/5
We had a one night stay, comfy bed. It was clean and roomy with comfy chairs. Big counter in the bathroom and plenty of hot water in the shower. The A/C worked well, wasn't real noisy, didn't hear the traffic. The breakfast was fine - typical hotel breakfast: eggs, sausage, mini waffles, a couple of cereal choices. There was no bread when we were there. Plenty of coffee! Probably would be good to have someone restock things and maintain it during the breakfast period. Staff were friendly and helpful.
- 4/5
Everything was clean, staff was nice and helpful
- 5/5
Great. For what we needed
- 4/5
Room was clean. Bed was comfy. Breakfast was meh. For a quick overnight stop, it served its purpose and I wouldn’t hesitate staying here again. Note, no elevator to get to 2nd floor but that wasn’t an issue for me.
- 4/5
Decent place. No complaints
- 3.5/5
It’s nicer than it looks from the parking lot AC took a good long time to cool the room (it was a mid-80’s day)
- 4/5
The location was close to the freeway. It was a good, clean, basic hotel. Bed and pillows comfortable. Nice staff. Basic breakfast and coffee. Very pleasant overnight on a road trip.
- 1.5/5
We paid for the reservation online and at check in our card was requested for the $100 hold. The staff person said the card was declined, but we had just bought food and gas and the card worked then and the next day. Something in their system caused this - stressful after a 12 hour drive. We were told there were no elevators and the only rooms available were on the second floor, had to carry everything up 2 flights (seniors) Even though there were 19 rooms on the first floor and only 11 cars in the lot. The room air conditioning had not been turned on and the room was roasting. Again, 12 hour drive, tired. The tub faucet leaks. Lousy breakfast options. The staff person who checked us in said he was new, but he was great, none of this was his fault.
- 5/5
Older hotel but was extremely clean. Very quiet, close to restaurants, gas, shopping. Rooms were very clean, beds were very comfortable. No issues with stay.
- 4/5
There is no elevator in the hotel, but the amenities are great. They have put all new everything in this hotel and it is well worth your climb up a flight of stairs to the 2nd floor for the beautiful, well kept, and new look.
- 2/5
It’s in a good location There was black mold and mildew on the first 2 rooms I was offered. I refused them both, eventually being offered a single king as opposed to the double queen I’d booked.
- 4/5
The front desk people were super friendly and helpful. The sink on the bathroom did not drain.
- 3/5
Cleanliness, temperature, parking were all addiquate. Nice place to stay.
- 5/5
Location and room was so nice and clean Nothing was an issue
- 3/5
Rooms are adequate, need updating. Breakfast -ok. No fruit, eggs are like rubber and waffle mix is real sweet. You never see staff, always have to ring the bell. Stayed last year and was good, gone done hill. 🙁 sad, because it is in a great location off interstate 75.
- 4/5
Nice and well kept hotel. Breakfast was simple with waffles, yogurt and bananas. Coffee anytime.
- 4/5
The staff were very friendly. The room was clean. The toilet had a slight movement when sitting on it, there were no leaks but it was a bit concerning. I will be staying in another Quality Inn, or this one again in the future. Thank you.
- 4/5
The room is nice and clean with a comfortable bed, good shower, good internet, and a great breakfast. This was our second visit to this Quality Inn in Clinton, TN. We had a great visit last year, however this year we were disappointed. We were given a second-floor room despite requesting a first-floor room weeks in advance. This would not be an issue if they have elevators, but they do not, and we are 68 and 69-years old. We ended up having to pay $23.43 extra for a first floor room. Not happy at all.
- 4/5
Upon checking in the night clerk was very informative until he found out we booked thru Expedia. Asked about our room rate and he said I would need to check my email if I want that info. Upon checking out four days later the day clerk was most helpful and she apologized for his behavior. Also did not realize there were two different rates when booking thru Expedia. We stayed Th, Fr, Sa, Su and found that the advertised rates of $102 only applied to Th and Fr and Sa and Sun it went up to $149 and motel definitely not worth $149 a night based on age of motel. Was disappointed that no fruit was provided on breakfast bar. Same breakfast every morning. Juices watered down. Must say one of the cleanest rooms have stayed in and have stayed in five star hotels worldwide. Staff very friendly. Parking lot appeared to have had recent construction with mud and gravel. Pool area closed for season. Hotel difficult to find. Signage positioned away from highway and difficult to find. Country food restaurant next door, heavy fried foods. Overall rating would be between good and excellent, if you want a clean place to stay. Convenient to Interstate and about 15 minutes from downtown Knoxville.
- 4/5
Good price, friendly staff
- 4.5/5
Friendly staff - very convenient location - great surroundings - very clean - everything worked beautifully!! Better coffee
- 3.5/5
For a good value hotel, it was fine. Not upscale but had all one needs. Comfy king size bed, tv, internet, an ok breakfast Couldn’t fond any thermostat and couldn’t operate the H/A control unit.
- 4/5
no internet
- 4.5/5
Was Good It’s was good

- 2.5/5
Pool was dirty and hotel smelled
- 3/5
breakfast wasn't much to rave about. Very little choices. I was only looking for a bagel and they didn't have any. I booked a room not knowing it had a hot tub. I actually decided to use it after dinner until I noticed it wasn't cleaned from the last use. There was scum and hair in the bottom of the tub. The next morning, I politely told the front desk that they might want to follow up on cleaning that. I was actually told that I wasn't even supposed to have the hot tub from my booking and that I apparently was just upgraded?? Nonetheless, I was amazed that I got that response because regardless of if I booked it or not, it should have been cleaned. That totally blew my mind and created a negative experience.
- 3.5/5
Good value and clean It needed an update, especially on the outside
- 5/5
Hallways a little worn but rooms were great and comfortable beds.
- 0.5/5
be nice switch my stinky room so I could sleep
- 4/5
Quiet area with large parking lot. The staff at check-in was not particularly friendly, but did the job. Breakfast was minimal, no water available, no staff anywhere to ask. I just needed a place to stay driving through and I did the job.
- 5/5
We had the best service! Thank you for the fantastic, clean, comfortable stay! Would highly recommend!
- 4/5
It’s nice. Bed is coming to the end of its comfort level.
- 4/5
Room cleaned after the first nite was great. Just had a few towels. Very rough towels. Limited breakfast foods.
- 3/5
Clean, comfortable, decent price one night stay
- 3/5
This hotel didn’t have much to brag about. Room was comfortable & somewhat clean. Breakfast was a disappointment. No fruit, pastry or biscuits & gravy. Apple & orange juices were extremely watered down.
- 2/5
Location was great. Had to move me twice, once the roof smelled like smoke, the second time the t.v. did not work with the remote. The only person at the hotel wanted me to reprogram the remote, And when they moved us non king rooms were available, so spent the night in two queens, The breakfast area was small, had to set with others to eat.
- 4/5
Breakfast was good but there was limited seating in the breakfast area. Staff was professional and helpful. There are many restaurants nearby.
- 4/5
The bed and sheets were very comfortable. The decor was satisfactory but not overly homey. It could use some updating. A new coffee machine is necessary! The coffee was terrible in the lobby!
- 4/5
Staff was welcoming, our bed was comfortable.
- 4/5
The room was clean and spacious. It was a quiet night. That they required a 100$ deposit to be paid before you get your room key
- 3/5
Ok
- 4/5
Limited breakfast. But you get what you pay for.
- 3/5
The bed was terrible and i didn't feel like the room was really clean
- 4/5
Staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was large and clean. The breakfast was less than I expected from a Choice hotel.
- 5/5
When we first arrived on Tuesday night, the parking lot was crowded, but I was able to find a close parking space. The staff has always been friendly and very helpful anytime each day there. We have family in the Clinton area and most of the time we stay at that particular hotel. My only concern was the air conditioner couldn’t make up its mind whether it wanted to cool the room or heat the room. But we made the best of it no complaints. That’s why we will choose this place again for our future travels.
- 5/5
Surprisingly clean and spacious, no musty smell like some older hotels. Great value.
- 5/5
Room was clean, comfortable bed, pleasant staff. Good value for cost!
- 4/5
Very nice afternoon staff person! It was his 4th day on the job, and already had the customer service element down pat. Good job!
- 2/5
The hallway rugs all had muddy footprints and the room was dated.
- 3/5
Need better coffee and breakfast.
- 5/5
Awesome
- 5/5
All good
- 4/5
room was clean
- 4/5
Room was very clean and the bed was super comfy.
- 5/5
Location excellent, exceptually clean, good price, quiet and comfortable
- 4/5
Great price and clean hotel, a few small things like our room phone didn't work, they ran out of forks, etc. But all in all a good place.
- 4/5
Staff was very courteous.
- 5/5
Clean restaurant near
- 5/5
Clean and modern.
- 5/5
Room was very nice, the breakfast was good and the staff was super friendly
- 4/5
Good
- 3/5
The breakfast was not very good.
- 4/5
Hotel was clean, staff friendly. Breakfast was adequate but limited...lacked fruit/fresh fruit and pastries. Only had white/wheat toast, no English muffins or bagels, which we are accustomed to.
- 4/5
Come
- 5/5
Was just a quick overnight on way to Asheville, breakfast was ok
- 1/5
No elevator all rooms on top floor
- 5/5
Very nice clean safe area
- 4/5
Didn’t realize breakfast was over at nine instead of ten but that was our mistake
- 2/5
Noiay
- 4/5
Area did not feel real secure. Room appeared clean. Breakfast was lacking. Hostess was kind and polite.
- 3/5
The check in was very slow and the front desk seemed nervous. No room for breakfast seating. Pricey for what you get. Hard to find driveway to the hotel as it is not marked on the main road
- 2/5
N/A
- 3/5
Kind of a sketchy location with lots of local activity in the adjacent parking lot including drug use and partying. Room was clean though.
- 4/5
Clean room, bed was good and quiet night sleep
- 5/5
Very clean, good breakfast
- 3/5
This was an ok hotel but the water pressure is horrible.
- 5/5
.
- 3/5
The smell of the lobby was like strong car air freshener, NOT GOOD. The breakfast was bare minimum. And it is a two story hotel with NO elevator
- 4/5
Definitely an older property but it was clean, staff was friendly, several food options close to hotel. Overall nice stay for the price.
- 5/5
We were in town for a travel softball tournament and ended up canceling an existing reservation for another hotel due to it being very outdated, dirty, and just feeling unsafe. This was the place we chose, and we could not have been anymore pleased with the room. It was clean and exactly what we needed for a quick overnight trip.
- 4/5
Would stay again
- 4/5
The room was clean and the property and surrounding area looked safe. The staff were friendly and helped when we had questions. It was a quick one night stay and it served it's purpose. The breakfast had very little options and could be much better. We ended up going elsewhere for coffee and breakfast.
- 4/5
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable but we had a non working jet tub in the living area. Strange. Not that we wanted it but it just seemed odd to have been there. Maybe they’re planning on removal. Only two comfort comments: the hair dryer cord is too short to reach the mirror. It was a blind style this morning. It would be nice if the towels were bigger and softer. A good stay and would recommend it especially because of the staff.
- 3/5
Well, thay always say you get what you pay for. In this instance they were right. Room was musty, couch in room was cheap and I had an wash cloth from previous occupants hanging on the shower curtain rod. If you want a cheap place just to flop for the night. This is the place.
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable.
- 5/5
Rooms were clean. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 5/5
Need more food options
- 5/5
Room clean coffee available ice available
- 2/5
Desk clerk was nice, facility is dated. No elevator. I was placed on second floor. Problems with AC. Refused to get me another room until next day per manager. Customer service per management was poor. Desk clerk could not help fix problems without approval. Was offered a different room next day, would not stay here again.
- 5/5
The employee that I dealt with was great.. Hotel could use some upgrades tho.. The room was spacious and nice but the bed was uncomfortable
- 2/5
We were on the second floor and there isn’t an elevator. When we got to our room no fan on or a/c, it took until 1 am to get the room cool. If we weren’t so tired from a long day of traveling we would have left. Bed was comfortable and room was clean.
- 5/5
Not luxurious, but certainly clean and comfortable. Friendly helpful staff. Breakfast was better than expected.
- 5/5
the staff, and cleanliness
- 4/5
The staff was very friendly and the hotel was clean. My grandson really enjoyed the outdoor pool.
- 4/5
Convenient location.
- 4/5
Great stay for the price. We only needed overnight stay so didn't take advantage of any amenities but was still pleased. Very clean. I would have given a 5 but it took our room a very long time to cool down. Had to turn the air down to 60 to get it down to a comfortable 70. Great area. Lots of shopping and dining options and a great downtown close by.
- 4/5
Hotels.Com did not send registration to Hotel. Young man at desk was very understanding, as it was second time that day. He supplied number to call and helped get it straightened out in 15-20 minutes.
- 4/5
Room was great, no elevator, snack machines don’t work, best part of breakfast was the waffles, biscuits were very hard
- 5/5
Place easy to find. just off interstate. Beds were comfortable and room clean.
- 5/5
It was nice I would stay again.
- 4/5
Air conditioning wasn't working very well. Bathroom door barely closed. Staff was friendly and helpful
- 5/5
Convenient
- 3/5
The property was adequate for our one night need. Edges of everything is dirty. Laundry running early morning wakes up all connecting and above rooms. Breakfast is very limited but sufficient. Coffee is pretty much instant coffee. Pool not yet open- think that should be noted before a booking.
- 4/5
The room smelled a little musty, but other than that it was great!
- 5/5
Front staff was excellent! I would recommend !!!!
- 4/5
Room was clean, nothing busted or broken. Young man at the check-in desk was very nice and helpful. Good experience
- 4/5
Not our first time here. The only negative was the floors were sticky which I’m sure is the cleaner. Will stay again. Do recommend to others.
- 2/5
bathroom tub caulking at the floor possible mold room 234. Bathroom exhaust fan is very loud. The staff needs to learn how to make coffee, it was just colored water. They also needed a $100.00 hold which I have not encountered at other properties. The room charge is excessive for the poor quantity of our stay. Hotels.com also has this property rated above 8. I would rate this property at 7.0 or lower.
- 4/5
Facility slightly older but exceptionally clean! Area full of dining options. Location convenient to our grandson’s regatta in Oak Ridge. Would definitely stay again.
- 5/5
Everything was fine... everything was clean!
- 4/5
Booked it last min to stop and sleep for a few hours. It was clean
- 4/5
The room was clean and comfortable. Wasn't overly impressed with breakfast offerings. But overall would stay there again if in the area
- 3/5
The property overly smelled of cleaning products. And the area was a little uneasy feeling. Like I felt a little unsafe parked in the back of the building. The smell of cleaning products was so strong in the hall, and the smell of bleach was very strong in the beds. The curtain in the room didn't block the light from the parking lot so it was very bright in our room. The breakfast was nothing special but overall for the price and somewhere to just sleep for a couple hours on a long road trip it was worth the stop.
- 5/5
Excellent location! Felt safe. The rooms were clean. Breakfast was ok. I would stay again.
- 3/5
Luis worked very hard to get our reservation from Expedia. It took 45 minutes and multiple phone calls with Expedia support, but he got the reservation entered.
- 3/5
It was okay.
- 4/5
Property was good. But Expedia didn’t get my reservation to hotel before I arrived. Took me 40 min, 2 phone calls and talking to 3 Expedia employees to get it resolved. Not impressed!!
- 4/5
Construction around property a lot of trash in parking area
- 3/5
The room was nice, but miss labled. It was sold to us as 2 queen beds and it had two full beds. Also had a dirty diaper in the trash when we got in the room
- 3/5
I was told it would be a extra 100.00 at check in case we break anything. Stayed here before and had no trouble. Got to roo., smelled musty, like wet. Was bringing things to the room, And low and behold there was plaster on the floor of the hallway. And no i didnt do it. The pieces were to big for such a tiny space.
- 5/5
Very clean and spacious room. All the amenities we needed. Nice TV, comfortable and updated. We would stay again.
- 4/5
Near exit
- 3/5
Prerty average but for a sleep aftee 11 hours in the road ok
- 2/5
Toilet was to low to the ground for handicapped people. Not many grab bars located in the bathroom for Handicapped people to use. Toilet paper dispenser was in an inconvenient place and nit very accessible. Breakfast was extremely limited.
- 4/5
Traveling alone and stopped here for a night. Price was reasonable and everything was clean.
- 5/5
Room was clean, beds were good, breakfast was good.
- 5/5

Our regular stay coming home from visiting family in Georgia.
- 4/5
Rooms were great, b’fast just allright
- 5/5
Clean and comfortable. Hot proteins offered for breakfast was a plus.
- 3/5
The heater was very noisy in our room. Had to turn it off. Very sparse. But otherwise fine for a night on the road.
- 4/5
Good spot right off 75 can’t complain
- 5/5
Decent breakfast. Clean room. Comfortable beds.
- 5/5
Easy checking and very clean
- 4/5
Great location with easy access to I-75
- 4/5
Good location close to Walmart, several restaurants and fast food places, access to I-75, and cost effective rates make this a good place to stay. Breakfast is nothing special. Rooms are decent sized and generally clean.
- 5/5
Very clean, 4 towels which we never see, tissues which seem to be discontinued at some places, 4 pillows on each bed, no gross carpets, best place we stayed in 4 nights, nightlight in bathroom!
- 5/5
Very nice place, great staff assistance and free breakfast.
- 4/5
Easy and friendly check-in. Clean room
- 4/5
Great for the price.
- 3/5
Desk clerk surly, breakfast not worst ever but only ok. Clean, comfortable room.
- 5/5
Very friendly staff, very clean, breakfast was amazing
- 4/5
This Quality Inn in Clinton near Knoxville is cleaner and nicer than the usual Quality Inn locations. However it is almost 20 miles away from downtown Knoxville, and breakfast choices are quite limited.
- 2/5
Worst hotel experience ever. Returned from dinner with no desk clerk on premise. Also, our car was only car in the lot. Sign on checkin desk said call this phone number for attendant. We were the only two people in a two story motel with 100 vacant rooms. We did not feel safe and packed our bags and left.
- 3/5
Room is clean and comfortable. Common areas are worn and dated.
- 3/5
That said, the shower head leaked and water randomly shot out of the link when turned on. It also took awhile to get warm enough. Bath towels were small and thin. I would not stay there again.
- 5/5
Very clean & quite rooms.
- 5/5
Basic room but very clean. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast provided
- 5/5
.
- 4/5
We enjoyed our stay.
- 4/5
The business will choose other places to stay going forward
- 3/5
No where to sit. So crowded and food was substandard. Coffee was terrible. Real coffee would have been nice and a non dairy creamer.
- 5/5
Was a really great room.
- 4/5
It was good
- 4/5
Easy to find right off the highway.
- 3/5
Room had mildew smell. Breakfast had basically nothing more than coffee and a muffin.
- 4/5
The staff was great and the room was clean
- 5/5
Very clean and very great price.
- 4/5
Overall a good stay, would return. Breakfast wasn't that great except the waffles.
- 1/5
Bed bugs

We have family around the area and we were staying at the Baymont Inn. We had been there for 3 days because my husband’s dad was needing help and about to have a surgery. I by accident rented a room here when I meant to get another night at the Baymont. I called this hotel to see if they would work with me so I did not have to pack up all of my things I’m my room and without a single thought or bringing it to managements attention was told no. Because I was short on time to pick up my nephew for his birthday I never was able to get a shower because of this and then I was told I could not check in till exactly 3:00. I realize that it was my fault that I by accident rented the room. I will not deny that. We had so much going on I thought that it would have been more professional to work with me like other hotels do. It just seemed wrong. Then it was only the first week of September and hot outside and they had already shut down the pool. I visit the area often because both our families live near by. We talked about trying the Quality Inn the next time around. We are not customers that were just passing through and considering how very few customers stayed here anyway during our visit, they looked like they could use more customers. We won’t be back though because of hard unbroken policy to make money off whom ever stays here instead of logical reasoning. It’s to bad they had potential.
- 4/5
Staff was friendly. We missed breakfast so no comment. Did enjoy our coffee.
- 5/5
Liked the staff, very friendly and helpful. . Proximity to highway was great. Need better signage from road for Quality Inn. Room was similar to Comfort Inn only a better bathroom and better AC unit.
- 5/5
Great clean hotel and great price through Expedia
