The hotel is very clean, conveniently located, safe with great amenities. The breakfast was very good and replenished every day. But the highlight is for the very courteous, friendly and helpful staff. I would stay here again

Traveling for a graduation and needed a place to stay. This place was perfect, the room was the size of an apartment, clean and great breakfast.

This trip was to connect with my sibling for our birthdays. The room itself was more than expected. We had a little incident where the gabage disposal leaking, reported, and within hours was fixed. There was a bit of language barrier but in the end the gentleman was able to complete the task within 15 min. The staff were professional, kind and attentive upon check-in.. Breakfast was great and staff were there to resupply when needed. We all had a great time so much fun. The staff we encountered were helpful (once again language barrier) and friendly.

Breakfast was great, rooms were clean and nice, staff was pleasant and helpful. You can tell they were also hard at work updating any areas that needed it, as there was some work being done (not disruptively at all) while we were there. Great rates. Great pool.

Very good value. We loved all the little details that made an excellent stay: free water bottles during our stay, free coffee/tea in the room as well as in the lobby, enough personal care products for the entire family for the weekend, the spacious room and comfortable bed, the pool, jacuzzi as well as the basketball court right outside the hotel for our kids. We loved also the breakfast that had a variety of choice to satisfy everybody, including lactose free milk.

Let’s see… the pool area was filthy. Food left out in multiple spots overnight and not cleaned, which led to ants everywhere. Used bandaids on the floor (also left out overnight). Half the channels in the room didn’t work. Netflix didn’t work. Phone didn’t work. The staff leaves the “secure” back door open. When I complained about the pool I was told, by Marriott, that I should have picked a different hotel. 😂

Breakfast was hearty and very enjoyable. Lots of good hot and cold options, including delicious mini quiches and hot breakfast sandwiches, in addition to the usual scrambled eggs, sausages, and a waffle maker. Even the muffins and breads seemed elevated compared to the breakfasts we’ve had at other hotels. The staff were all wonderful: friendly, kind, and attentive. They definitely stood out for the overall warmth the exuded. They were friendly to our kids, and the kind man at the front desk provided quick assistance when my toddler spilled her water in the lounge.

Everything was great nice room close to the pool/spa I was charged twice for the stay. Once by booking.com and once by the hotel. Had to go back to get a refund

The hotel was conveniently located right off the highway, but felt very safe. The rooms were spotless and had everything you needed with a small kitchenette and a turning TV to watch from the couch or the bed. Complimentary breakfast in the morning had more than enough options, was well stocked. Staff was friendly from welcome to check out!

No issues, friendly staff, very clean & the seafood place within walking distance is a nice bonus. I would recommend it to anyone. The kitchen was fully equipped with utensils, microwave, plates etc.. It was a nice stay.

The hotel was kept very clean, had a nice fresh feeling throughout. The room was large and had a kitchen with everything you need, they even offer grocery shopping and delivery. Will definitely stay here again when in town.

Three of us stayed for several days of racing at Saratoga. This hotel is well run with an excellent complementary hot breakfast. It is great for longer stays with laundry, a pool, hot tub and gym. The staff was helpful and attentive. I highly recommend this hotel.

One of our favorite "go to" places to stay. We have stayed off & on for weeks and it is always clean, comfortable and accomodating. Front desk is friendly & eager to help with everything from dining recommentations to quarters for laundry, which is rare at other hotels for some reason. Guest laundry is clean, inexpensive and super efficient. The pool is always sparkling clean & the perfect temp. The basketball court is another wonderfully thoughtful perk. The only thing I don't love is the hot elevator but even that is nice after a swim.

I highly recommend this hotel. It's clean, quiet, and easy to check in. The staff are friendly. It's a surprise to have a kitchen and refrigerator in the room.

Upon arriving we were thrilled with the hotel. It was clean with a nice pool and basketball court. Shopping nearby with so many restaurants to chose from. Room was clean and spacious. The only downside and why we would not stay here again is that the hotel is next to the highway and it is very noisy. Woke us up often as noise is constant even into the night. Hotel should get better windows. It's unfortunate because this hotel has everything, but a good night's sleep is too important.

We only spent the night but really like all the conveniences. Was a great location to the restaurant we were meeting friends. While we didn’t have our dog or cat, it appeared to be very pet friendly.

This was a spontaneous overnight stay so my son could enjoy the pool as our Halloween plans had changed due to northeaster weather fluctuation(we were supposed to be in Salem for Halloween). The hotel is about 8 miles from where we live and was very convenient. The parking situation is a bit tight even with parking in the rear of the building. They were pretty full but over all very accommodating. From reception to staff we met throughout the property they were all polite, courteous and very professional. The breakfast is a full breakfast as was offered pre COVID19 with many options. The linens in our suite were crisp and clean, as was the room, and the provided utensils(dishes, stove, dishwasher, sink). Nice but small area for pet traffic. Conveniently located near everything Clifton Park has to offer!

This is the second time I have stayed at this property. It is so clean. The staff is very kind and caring. I will absolutely stay here again.

Staff were upbeat and helpful, property was full or nearly so from the number of cars in the lot but felt Un crowded. Amenities were open and in good shape. We especially liked the mixer/dinners three days a week. Breakfast was good every day. Laundry facility was clean and in good order. No problems. Will stay again.

Staff was rude and unprofessional at the front desk. Despite the racist gentleman at the front desk I’d I was comforted by the African Americans who agreed he must be obssesed with black People because he states as if we are a new thing or something.

When we booked the reservation, we had a 3 pm checkin time promised by Expedia and Residence Inn. Then a confirm arrived showing a 4 pm check in time. We planned a family gathering around that time based upon this promise. All we heard was the standard line 'housekeeping was short staffed'. OUR ROOM WASN'T READY UNTIL 5:30 PM! We paid almost $500 for two rooms and they couldn't meet their promise. It ruined the timing of the family gathering. The manager should be fired! Because there is no management of this property. Behind the desk were three people ... the front desk person, a porter and the manager. It took one person to tell us the room wasn't ready, just keep checking back with them. The other two stood around behind the desk talking about a problem with a housekeeper. I owned a hotel and when we were short staffed in housekeeping, I along with the manager and front desk staff jumped in to help housekeeping. It's no excuse to not have a room ready by promised check in time! And if you don't pay the people, you don't get the workers, it is that simple. To charge $250/night for a crappy cheaply built room that sits on a freeway and not pay your staff is shameful! IF YOU BOOK THIS PLACE EXPECT THE SAME SHODDY TREATMENT. Literally the rooms are right next to a freeway that trucks rumble by keeping you awake. The bathroom is so poorly designed, they put a metal drain panel under the showerhead, the leaking showerhead pinged

Friendly staff. But TV kept screwing up. Tech fixed it twice, but still not cool. There are nearby hotels on a par with Residence Inn that are 30-60 dollars cheaper per night. Will have to think hard about booking with Residence Inn again.

My husband and grown daughters stayed here, they thought the staff was very friendly, the room was awesome. My daughter said she liked the set up with the bathroom and having privacy getting ready in the a.m. They liked the close proximity to stores and restaurants. They said it was unfortunate they could only stay 1 night.

Breakfast choices and taste excellent good variety something for everyone

Front desk service was fantastic. Arrived late and tired after a planes, trains and automobiles kind of travel day and the lady was more than gracious. Only knock was I had to turn around and leave the property to get something to eat, which was the last thing I wanted to do.

Lots of shopping..good spots for lunch and dinner....we had our nice complimentary breakfast daily...also...easy access to highways...close to Albany and Saratoga Springs...2 racetracks and 2 casinos...beautiful country area.A place to enjoy all four seasons.

My stay at the Residence Inn Albany Clifton Park was excellent. The hotel and room were clean and had all of the amenities I needed to make my stay enjoyable. My room had a comfortable bed, office area, and full, modern kitchen (with a dishwasher and regular coffee maker!). The staff was extremely nice and accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and there were vegetarian options (but also sausage and gravy with biscuits for the meat lovers!). The location of the hotel is convenient to get to SPAC and there is ample shopping in the area. Overall I was very happy with my stay and will stay here again.

Hotel was good, breakfast fairly decent. Bit of a pain as they were having their driveway and parking lot paved which meant lack of parking, smell, and we had to move car by 930am. Only other thing is what is with these hotels with the thin low quality mattresses on the sofa beds. All hotels are like this, but you would think they would put a commercial quality mattress on the sofa bed so people using them can get a good sleep. wires and springs in your back all night long make for a poor sleep.

We had a wonderful experience the staff was very friendly and accommodating. Was not thrilled about the location of the bathroom in conjunction with the pool area, it was not very convenient and the indoor pool could have been heated a little more as it felt as though it was not heated. Otherwise our stay was very pleasant

I must compliment your front desk employee, Carlos. When my daughter and I arrived to check in he was dealing with a very difficult customer. It appeared she had already taken up a bit of his time and she continued to do so while we waited. He was extremely patient with her and repeatedly apologized for making us wait.
