- Unpleasant smells in some rooms and common areas
- Noise from neighboring rooms and traffic

Ideal location as it’s12 minutes from the airport. While the motel is situated on a busy road surrounded by strip malls and fast food, it’s peaceful and pleasant inside. Has a lovely little courtyard with trees, landscaping, and a few tables and chairs. Nice indoor pool and hot tub, and a tiny fitness room. Staff were fine at check in and check out. Love the free breakfast, but coffee could be better.

Older property with a nice large space, the way they used to be built. Comfy loveseat and bed. Best thing besides a large vanity is the large walk-in shower!

I was nasty carpet with outside entrance, not clean enough for me. Never again

Dirty sheets and rude staff. Not only that the over charge in extending my stay. It was $110 on the website I was quoted $179 absolutely not

My bathroom and shower were impeccably clean and everything worked. Remember, this is a Best Western just off a major interstate, so it's not the Ritz-Carlton, but the bed was comfortable, bedding was clean and nice pillows, TV works, etc. No complaints about the room. The courtyard is also well kept and the landscaping was surprisingly attractive. Breakfast had a wide variety of options - cereal, waffles, scrambled eggs, fruit, coffee, juice, water, etc. I am grateful for the friendly staff emphasizing the need for quiet after dark. Lots of families and travelers as guests, so attention to this detail was appreciated so we can all get a good night's sleep. I spent one overnight and won't hesitate to stay here again.

Except parking, everything is in good sharp, and it is worth for the money paid
- 3/5
Very dated property and needs a complete makeover. Walkways are stained and room furniture is old and worn.
- 5/5
Loves the in room hot tub, Room was very large, dividing into 2 huge rooms, with Kitchenette. Had a great experience with the night shift working on 3/17

Hotel staff was very helpful and professional. Little disappointed in the breakfast. When I came down to eat, there were no scrambled eggs available, warmer was empty, newly baked biscuits were brought out after asking if any were available. While the hotel is aging, it is well maintained, clean and nice hotel.

Breakfast is ok not great. Not too bad for a day but feels more generic over longer stay.

I loved how clean everything was, I was helped by multiple staff and all were very friendly and happy to assist. The breakfast offered was great, the heated pool was a complete bonus as I don’t remember seeing this when scheduling. I’m a little frustrated about the hot tub situation. I haven’t been on vacation for almost 2 years, and I live in a very small rental so I can’t even sit in my tub. I really looked forward to relaxing my mind and muscles but was closed during my stay. I debated speaking with staff about a discount because that’s what I was looking forward to. My other issue was on our checkout date, room service OPENED OUR DOOR even with the DO NOT DISTURB on the front. My spouse was about half naked and was not expecting that. Fortunately we had the top bar secured so no one could get in, but no knocking, no announcing, NOTHING! Just about walked in on us changing. If it wasn’t for this, I would’ve rated all 10’s, even with my disappointed pool issue. You cannot have staff walk into rooms who do not want room service during the stay. I hope to be contacted about this because this should be reviewed further.

I love this hotel and I usually stay here because it’s close to my family when I come into town unfortunately when we checked in the pool was open, which is one of the main reasons why I stay there and the day that I went to take my grandkids swimming, the pool was closed when I talked to the staff they just said yeah it’s closed no explanation no nothing
- 1/5
A lot of drug deals going down and being exchanged couldn’t get any sleep due to the cars coming in and out extremely rude people. I did report to the staff, but no one did anything about it. I stayed here 10 years ago and it was really nice. It’s horrible now I will never stay here again. It’s so sad.

Excellent check in with Madeline, she deserves a raise! Fantastic customer service! Breakfast was great! Courtyard was very pretty. Nice hot hot tub and pool, although a few areas in the pool surface were flaking off. Room was quiet and clean! Would stay at again, and recommend this place to all travelers!

Our room smelled like dirty dog and there was a spot under the table that looked like dog poop. The pool was closed. Breakfast was sold as a got breakfast but the buffet items were lukewarm. A disappointing stay.
- 4/5
The staff was great! The breakfast was good
- 5/5
All the above
- 3/5
Unfortunately, the noise level made it impossible for us to get a good night’s sleep. The property sits directly on a four‑lane highway, and throughout the night we were repeatedly woken by semi trucks using jake brakes and cars with loud exhaust accelerating from the traffic light right in front of the hotel. The constant road noise overshadowed the otherwise positive aspects of the stay. We had booked and paid for three nights but ended up leaving after the first night because the noise was so disruptive. When we shared our concerns with the staff, no refund or credit was offered, which added to our disappointment. This could be a good option for travelers who aren’t sensitive to traffic noise, but based on our experience, it wasn’t the restful stay we had hoped for.
- 2/5
Room was very dated and stinky. The breakfast bar was hardly breakfast. The pool and hot tub were empty and that should have been a kick back on rates. Thats why we picked the hotel. Very uncomfortable time.
- 3/5
There was no TV or WiFi for the first night and this wasn’t communicated before I checked in. Breakfast was nice, beds were comfortable and everything was clean.
- 3/5
Staff excellent | Parking unsafe, but convenient for parking close to room | Water in shower was not hot enough | Great for pets | Pet area very convenient | Hot tea water tastes like lukewarm coffee 😳
- 4/5
Clean room, friendly staff
- 5/5
Very nice place.
- 4/5
Overall stay was good. Was impressed with the staff very respectful and friendly which is almost unheard of in today's world.
- 1/5
The pool is not in good condition. The lining is breaking apart. I took pieces of it to the front desk they said they know. The pool should not be open, what if a child was swimming and cut their foot or hand open. Its irresponsible to know the condition of the pool but keep it open. The front desk attendant took the pieces of the pool floor said her general manager is aware she would leave the pieces on her desk. Upper management do better, it starts at the top.
- 3/5
Room and breakfast was typucal, ut bummed the pool and hot tub were closed.
- 4/5
The building/rooms are a bit old. That’s the negative. However, the facility was very well maintained and very clean. The breakfast was a big plus. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will be visiting my daughter again and plan on staying at this hotel again. Thank you.
- 5/5
Customer service was good and breakfast was excellent.
- 4/5
Otherwise, it was a clean, well appointed room with comfortable beds, and a lovely courtyard type property with a wonderful pool and jacuzzi.
- 4/5
Yes. Fellow came right away when we couldn't get TV going.

There was a rip in the sheet and brown smudges on the shower curtain (looked like feces)

If you are looking for an overnight stay - this property is perfect - No frills or thrills. Staff were nice. They did have a continental Breakfast until 9am… we missed it because we thought it was until 1000am. Rooms are clean. Surrounding area looks older and there was construction in the area.

Do not book or stay here if you like clean, do not book thru expedia they wont refund you. Staff is very nice but this property is in a "low rent" area with alot of questionable patrons, online pictures dont serve the actual facts well. Room we were given had hair still in bed, wallpaper falling off walls, grime in shower,

We left on arrival. It was a dump in a freeway offramp
- 5/5
Older but very well kept. Very nice courtyard. You feel like your are staying in the West!
- 3/5
Hotel is in an ideal location-close to several supermarkets, restaurants and gas stations. Hotel is old and outdated. Rooms were okay. Bathroom shower didn’t drain properly, but when we informed the hotel staff, they addressed it immediately. Buffet breakfast was okay and didn’t have enough seating area. Hotel staff had a great attitude and were very attentive.
- 5/5
All in all very enjoyable.
- 4/5
Nice staff. Not a great location
- 5/5
Clean facility, convenient location, pleasant & efficient staff
- 5/5
Yes everything is good
- 5/5
I was surprised how nice and secure this hotel was considering it was right in the middle of everything. Usually you have people wandering through in the middle of the night, but it kind of seemed tucked away enough that it afforded some security for our car. The front desk people were wonderful and when the main girl was on the phone, the housekeeper stepped up and help me. The breakfast was pretty good, and the menu looks like it changes every few days from biscuits/gravy, build-your-own-burritos, and so on. They had the dining tables, and then they had some more tables outside in the common area so you could dine in the sunshine which was a nice touch. We were also able to park right outside our room. There are restaurants and fast food right in the area, and a gas station right behind (separated by fencing), so late night food was plentiful and available if we got hungry. It was also pretty quiet...I didn't hear and street traffic and I never heard any sirens (if any even went off during our stay). Overall, it was a great hotel that felt comfortable and we'll definitely look at this one again next time we're in GJ.
- 5/5
The staff was amazing! The breakfast was top-notch, as it was not instant eggs, etc. I loved the courtyard and how guests felt safe to utilize it!
- 4/5
The outside grounds could use some tlc and a good pressure wash but not the worst. The room i had was spacious and updated and clean. I would definitely stay here again. The hotel staff were friendly and attentive.
- 5/5
There is plenty of fast food restaurants around. were always there to go 4 wheeling.so not there to shop or be fancy the hotel is great for our needs clean friendly and dog friendly
- 4/5
Hotel and room was clean and mostly quiet. Climate control worked well and plenty of parking even though the lot needs a to be repaved. Great location between Palisade and GJ.
- 4/5
The staff was nice, the rooms were clean, the beds suck. This is not a 200$ a night hotel
- 5/5
Awesome service.

needs upgrade
- 4/5
Super clean room. Bathroom was a little dated though. Everything was fine. The entire property could use a little updating though. Nice breakfast spread. Friendly staff.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Check in was quick and easy. Lobby staff was super friendly
- 5/5
we have stayed at this property several times over the years. The staff has always been pleasant and helpful. The rooms always clean. Breakfast served each morning, always hot and appetizing.
- 5/5
Extremely polite staff, rooms were clean and updated. Appreciate their attention to detail.
- 4/5
The safe was fine but the room was noisy and a bit on the dirty side.
- 5/5
We had a wonderful stay at the Best Western in Clifton, CO. Our room was impressively clean, spacious, and very well maintained. It was clear that great care is taken to ensure a comfortable and inviting environment. The layout gave us plenty of room to relax, and everything—from the bedding to the bathroom—was spotless. The staff was also super nice—friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. Highly recommend for a pleasant and hassle-free stay!
- 4/5
Convenience of location
- 4/5
Good overnight stay. Very convenient for our needs. Good breakfast the next morning. Clean and comfortable good sized room. Plenty of free parking. Limited dining options close by though unless fast food was your thing. Looking on Google maps though we did find a lovely Mexican restaurant called Dos Hombres a short walk away across the road which had great food and beer. Definitely recommend that.
- 2/5
Old hotel. Smelly room. Old carpets. Cost much more than it should have for the quality. Running toilet, loud AC. Nothing impressive about it except suite was huge.
- 5/5
Very nice for our one day stay!
- 4/5
Property was okay. As soon as we walked in to our room, we saw lots of flies just flying around. AC was cold. Bathroom was clean and shower had nice water pressure. Very thin walls. Heard our noisy neighbors very early in the morning with their loud talking and noisy yapping dogs. Continental breakfast was okay. Area around hotel was a bit shady at night.
- 5/5
Weekend trip to meet friends for some hiking in the area
- 5/5
Very nice property. It was so hot, all I wanted was a cool room and a shower, and it was all very comfortable.
- 4/5
The motel is situated in a near-tacky commercial area, some of which has seen better days. Fast-food and chain heaven, but not many places with character. The BW building strikes me as an older property, but credit goes to BW for keeping it refurbished and up to date with adequate rooms, comfortable beds, nice lobby, and a wonderful staff. It’s relatively quiet, especially given the area. If you’re on a short stay en route to somewhere else, as we were, it’s a good place to stay. If you’re looking to tour Grand Junction, then maybe go elsewhere.
- 4/5
Good service
- 5/5
Good overall.
- 5/5
The hotel was very clean but the beds were too hard for a good night rest. It was quiet and walking distance to several food places.
- 5/5
It was ok
- 5/5
My sister and I stayed for the NightVision Festival in GJ. It was a great place! We had breakfast only one morning, it’s nothing to brag about but, it’s included and it’ll fill you up! I’m a bit of a coffee snob, & I thought theirs was pretty good! What really stood out though, was the little things. We came back after midnight one night, & but hey had some trail mix, which hit the spot of o have a midnight snack before winding down after a busy day. The employees there were all super friendly too! The only downside, which is at no one’s fault, is the parking. Our late night out meant we had two options for parking available. Thankfully, my car isn’t big so, we were able to squeeze in.
- 3/5
Stained towels, overly perfumed cleaner, and no parking
- 5/5
Nice but room felt dated
- 1/5
We were overcharged, they never sent us a final bill. we were finally given back $50 but only after Expedia stepped in. However, the bill was still overcharged. Expedia got involved again and told them to send us our bill and they still didn't. If I could I'd get a full refund because this was all such a joke!
- 5/5
This hotel was a nice little surprise! It was clean, staff was friendly, check in was easy. Breakfast was good. Easy to get to
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Hotel was great, very clean, quiet, comfy. We did have something stolen out of the back of our truck during the night so keep that in mind when staying in this area. Other than that, the hotel was great.
- 5/5
Nice place
- 5/5
Super friendly staff made the check in great!
- 5/5
The staff are very helpful and friendly.
- 5/5
I love staying on the inside corridor to eat outside and enjoy the scenery and listen to the birds:) Love this place-especially the employees too!
- 3/5
Check the cancellation policy—this place does not offer refunds after booking !
- 5/5
The staff was great, very friendly, helpful and accommodating, the rooms were clean and as advertised and the property was well maintained. Great option for the area/price!
- 5/5
Very convient to shopping and restaurants, and the monument and other sites.
- 5/5
Great location for dining and other activities
- 5/5
Stayed for week-long Cameo Shooting Complex A Girl & A Gun National conference. Hotel is close, comfortable, with daily breakfast (fuel for grueling days on the range), and a hot tub that isn’t loaded with bleach…and actually works. A great, quiet stay!!
- 5/5
A nice hotel in a good base of operations, we visited the local parks.
- 3/5
Really nice property with a beautiful courtyard in the back and rooms with outside entrances on balconies.
- 3/5
We asked for queen size beds and got full size beds. With my husband having had shoulder surgery this was horrible. Would have never made a reservation if we would have known.
- 5/5
Pool/whirlpool area spacious…and open til 11 pm - a bonus considering our activities run til 8 pm. We actually get to use “stuff”. :-)
- 5/5
Comfortable, convenient area, good bed.
- 4/5
It was just fine
- 5/5
We usually stay here when we head down to grand jct area for 4 wheeling . Good location off highway. I wish yhere was better parking fir our truck and trailer
- 4/5
It was ok pool is pretty small and have to go outside to get to it hot tub was full of sand or something at the bottom :) neutral rating as I’ve had worse and better but this was ok nothing special :)
- 4/5
It was nice, clean and comfortable. The rooster crowing at 6 brought a smile to our faces, we weren’t expecting😊
- 5/5
This is a nice older hotel and in a very convenient location. We had our dog with us and the staff was fabulous. It is right in the heart of the Grand Junction area and beautiful!
- 5/5
Cozy little place
- 4/5
Property was fine for one short night before we flew out in the morning. Very friendly staff and large, clean rooms. Nice courtyard. However, kids playing in the courtyard when you are trying to sleep can be a nuisance.
- 3/5
The carpeting between the beds was very wet. When I alerted the staff to it because I was concerned it meant there might have been flooding from somewhere, I was told they had cleaned the carpet to make the room fresh for us. But then I realized it was only in that area that it was very wet so they must have done a spot clean of I-don't-know-what and not dried it thoroughly. It was disconcerting to step on it. Thankfully, as long as we each got out of bed on the other side, we didn't have to deal with it. The carpet could get moldy there though if they don't dry it out.
- 4/5
Room was very dark. Limited space for two guests to work at the same time, but accommodations were made available in the breakfast room.
- 5/5
First time at a BW. Staff was so friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and pleasing. I’m a clean freak and was pleased to feel comfortable and safe. Recommend to everyone
- 5/5
Great!

Our room was in the courtyard, that was nice and quiet. Staff was friendly and attentive.
- 5/5

No fan or vent in bathroom smelled musty
- 5/5
The staff were super nice. Place was clean and simple. Convenient location right off I70. All we needed.

It was very cozy and chill. I really enjoyed.
- 5/5
Beautiful hotel. Just not ADA friendly.
- 4/5
Would stay again it worked for what we needed.
- 5/5
Nice place to stay, warm good food
- 3/5
Room 126 had a squeaky door (the room next to us). With several children in that room the door was constantly open and closed until very late. This made sleeping difficult.
- 4/5
Access
- 5/5
Front desk employee was very polite & great service. Would absolutely stay here again
- 4/5
Good value here. Easy and convenient. Clean pool area, nice room, friendly staff.
- 5/5
The lobby area was very nice including a bar.
- 5/5
Peaceful and nice
- 2/5
Its a rip off if you take the money you paying in to consideration for what you get. BW can do much better, we've seen it as we stayed in many others. They should close it down, run a complete overhaul and reopen.
- 2/5
Rooms need a major upgrade
- 5/5
Nice, clean and friendly/helpful staff
- 5/5
The desk people are always so very nice and welcoming here at this Best Western! I truly feel like an honored guest and like I’m coming home! Thank you!
- 4/5
Enjoyed the pool & hot tub
- 4/5
Spa was being repaired pool was not heated
- 4/5
Everything was decent/ok. I keep comparing the breakfast offering which was ok, but the breakfast buffet at the BW Antlers in Glenwood Springs, CO is much better.
- 4/5
Clean and convenient with excellent staff. The breakfast service had a lower selection and quality than typically seen in similar hotels.
- 3/5
Every time i have booked through hotels. Com i have been given an outside room and they are noisy with trucks running and people arriving and leaving at all hours.
- 5/5
Random vert late check-in during a road trip, chose this property because of location and name brand. I would not usually choose a ground floor room open to the parking lot, but room was clean and comfortable. Luckily, we were able to grab the very last open parking space - parking area is not very large. Pool area looked clean and there is a small pet relief area. Free breakfast is always a great bonus.
- 5/5
Clean and well maintained
- 5/5
Hotel was clean and well kept. Staff was friendly and helpful.
- 3/5
This is clearly an older property but room was clean and they had a nice pet area set aside. They are pet friendly, the breakfast and outdoor courtyard were nice. The only negative was parking was tight and there is a really large pothole in the paking lot that needs repair. Over all a nice property.
- 5/5
I was happy with the cleanliness. It was convenient location for my purposes.
