Liberty Hall Bed and Breakfast

Our room was clean, the property was clean and serene. If I were doing anything close to Clemson, in Pendleton, Anderson or even Greenville - I would stay here versus ANY OTHER hotel or especially an Airbnb. We also really enjoyed looking at the art scattered throughout the property.

Beautiful property and historic home. Lovely furnishings. Thoughtful touhes. Friendly and helpful staff. We would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!!

Historic in attractive grounds

This was the perfect place to stay for us. So blessed to be able to stay in Pendleton and visit graves of my family and to see the area where my Henderson ancestors lived in 1817 and beyond before migrating to Reform, AL. Loved the breakfasts we were served while here. No dislikes at all.....

The reason for this additional review is that we stayed an extra night so we could visit family in Augusta before continuing our journey on the migrant trail of my family as they moved on to Alabama to settle. No complaints.

Ambience was wonderful… Grounds were beautiful… Loved the location… Room was spacious… Staff was courteous Breakfast was adequate, nothing special. Bed a little too soft for me..backache in morning Could not get television to work… Nobody around to help fix the issue I was having with YouTube TV

Such a great getaway! My room was clean and breakfast the next morning was absolutely delicious. The porches were such great relaxing spots as well during my stay, can’t wait to return!!

The was by far one of the best bed and breakfast places that I have ever stayed in. The house is beautiful, the rooms and spotless and the breakfast is amazing.

The room was spotless, the staff was accommodating, and the time spent was very relaxing. Liberty Hall feels like visiting your best friend at their beautiful historic home. Must stay when visiting the Clemson area.

The owner Angela could not have been more welcoming, warm, and helpful. Angela knew we had an early tour time, so she made a breakfast of our choosing to send us out the door, making sure to start the day on the right note. The hotel was a site to behold with a big porch to relax on, rooms that are spotless, and an old world southern charm you could only hope still exists in SC. I’m hoping my daughter chooses Clemson so I have 4 years of reasons to choose the Liberty for my stay in the future. I can not say enough wonderful thing about this pleasurable experience. Thank you for everything Angela and her husband for making what I think was the tastiest breakfast I’ve ever had!

Liberty Hall was an incredible find! The room was perfect- clean and quaint yet modern. The hosts were so personable. They made us feel at home. Breakfasts were home made and literally better than anything I can cook myself- examples are homemade quiche and grits, pancakes and vegetarian soufflé. You won’t regret staying here and are missing an extraordinary experience if you don’t choose this b & b.

Great stay, great place and personal service.

The room we stayed in was farthest from the thermostat, so the room temperature was several degrees different from the rest of the house. It was quiet cold at night and for morning showers.

Great staff. Comfortable rooms. Wonderful breakfast! Beautiful place! The entire house was available to the guests.

Chef Michael prepared the most beautiful and delicious breakfast . A great way to start the day! I couldn’t even answer that question everything was perfect.

Very comfortable and well-appointed room, deliciously crafted breakfasts and, most importantly, warmth and genuine care from the wonderful owners. It’s an easy walk to the Pendleton Town Square’s restaurants and shops, too. Lovely place all around.

Room was spacious and clean.Breakfasts were exceptional.We stayed 4nights and were disappointed that our room was never straightened{bed never made),trash was never removed and towels were never replaced.

The owners are amazing. Comfy rooms, stellar breakfast and good people.

Gracious hosts,lovely breakfast,coffee 24/7, clean comfortable room.Taking a step back in time,but with all the creature comforts!! They even have a pickle ball court on the property even though sitting in the rocking chair out front was my favorite sport!! As a senior I should of looked a little closer as the room I booked had many stairs so that's on me!

This is a delightful place to stay, with friendly hosts, good food, very comfortable, and easy parking in beautiful surroundings.

Exceptional and healthy Nothing

Loved this beautiful B&B. Enjoyed sitting out on the deck and relaxing with a cup of coffee! The staff were wonderful and check in was easy. The room was very comfortable and perfect for a weekend getaway.

Excellent property with spacious rooms and a great front porch with rocking chairs to relax in. Fabulous breakfast every day. But most important was the staff. Angela and Micheal were very welcoming and ready to help with anything you might need. Would definitely return.

If perfection could be a rating - that is what I’d rate Liberty Hall. My wife and I loved the location and we didn’t feel like we were tagged and quartered into a stall like cattle at most other places to stay. The breakfast each morning was exquisite. Angela really took care of us and we will certainly stay again.

Amazing stay. Everyone was accommodating. From check in to leaving was excellent. Not to forget the breakfast. My trip was a solo stay; however I plan to bring my husband with me on my next visit.

The room was nice and spacious and the bed was comfortable. It's an old building, so obviously there's some inevitable things you have to accept, like thinner walls between the rooms, creaky floors and irregular heating. But none of this was an issue and I slept well throughout my stay. It's really a nice, quiet property, well-maintained and convenient. I would definitely stay here again.

Had a quick, but lovely stay visiting my Clemson son for his 20th birthday. Angela texted me on my drive there and greeted me upon arrival. Really nice accommodations and I would most definitely stay there again.

The property is beautiful! Staying in a place that has so much of a connection to the history of the area was perfect for my daughter's first college visit to Clemson. Then to make it all even better, Angela made it a pint to work out having breakfast ready for us before we had to leave early. Great experience, and I would recommend to anyone traveling in the area!

Staff was friendly

Did not know what to expect for breakfast but it was heavenly. It started with a bowl of fresh fruit and coffee followed by a wonderful egg casserole made with local fresh ingredients. Oh so good! The owners of Liberty Hill are adorable. Very friendly and helpful. The two couples are related and were lots of fun to talk with. We enjoyed our visit so much that we book a room for every Clemson home football game this coming fall! The Inn is within walking distance to downtown Pendleton and several good restaurants. It was windy and cold when we were there so we drove to town. If you get a chance to visit Pendleton we strongly suggest you stay at the Liberty Hill. Oh! Did I mention the big candy bowl sitting out in main hall?

Beautiful home, very close to Clemson University. I would definitely stay here again. It would be great to have a more flexible time window for breakfast (currently served at 8:30 only), although the hosts were very nice and ended up giving me a "to go" container one morning when I had to get to a Clemson function. Bathroom amenities were also a bit lacking - a single tiny bar of soap and very small bath towels. But overall a nice stay, comfortable bed, within walking distance of nice restaurants.

Liberty Hall B&B was a wonderful experience in a beautifully renovated, historic house. Devon and Andy are excellent hosts providng comfort and a reflection of a bygone era. Its truly a great experience

The property is lovely, the breakfasts are excellent and the owners pleasant. However, we paid $600+ per night so I expected nicer amenities….not polyester bedding, tissues, waters, and foam cups in the room. We were in room #10 and it was extremely warm at night. There was a large and noisy fan in the room which we assumed was there to compensate. We were also unable to open the windows for the cooler night air.

The property owners are the very genuine and accommodating. This place is immaculate and showed that old Carolina feel atmosphere.

The Liberty Hall Inn is a beautiful, restored inn located within walking distance to downtown Pendleton. The owners were extremely friendly and hospitable. I will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone planning to visit the Pendleton/Clemson area.

Amazing owners of a beautiful bed and breakfast! Angela and Devon are super sweet and even retrieved our lost wallet from the coffe shop for us and mailed it to CO! All rooms are updated and cozy. Can walk to the down if Pendleton for coffee, food a drink!
