On of the decent place in the area. Always stay here when around. Recommend. The bath towels should be replace.

We love this hotel, we have stayed here numerous times. It's always so clean, staff is super nice, the restaurant is so good, and drinks and views at the rooftop bar are amazing! Definitely recommend!

The hotel was comfortable and staff were very helpful. The room was very nice and no issues apart from only one paper coffee cup per person - I asked why and was told that guests were discouraged from taking coffee in the room when they could have it and pay for it in the restaurant! Breakfast: we paid for breakfast included but were asked to pay extra for some items including coffee. We did not expect a limited breakfast - no pastries, fruit etc. It was clearly one set breakfast and anything extra was to be paid for - not good enough! Rooftop lounge was closed for a private function twice which was disappointing! We paid in advance to Booking.com but the hotel took full payment on my credit card (£540.00 GDP)- very unprofessional and no answer when we emailed the hotel. This has been repaid to us now after 2 weeks. The Hotel is very clearly used to corporate customers on a business budget but is not for families

This was one of our favorite hotel stays ever. We will definitely be returning next year. The room was spacious, the shower and bath robes were amazing. The roof top bar was beautiful. Overall just a really beautiful hotel.

We chose it for the proximity to PIE Airport. We were so pleasantly surprised at the entire hotel. From the arrival, the spacious room and bath, to the quiet atmosphere , to the excellent menus. We didn’t visit the rooftop bar as our stay was brief. I would drive out of the way to stay again.

The room was good, but had only 1 robe for 2 guests. Reception was courteous, but had run out of glasses for comp champagne at checkin. Told to come back later. Later glaases were there but champaign was out. Very poor reception.

The property was beautiful in a quiet area and parking was conveniently located in front of the hotel. The rooftop bar was beautiful however I would have loved to go up during the morning to get a morning view. The hotel should look into serving coffee there in the morning.

The front desk staff were very nice and informative. They called the room once we were all checked in just to make sure we had everything we needed. The 9th floor bar was fun and a beautiful view. The surrounding area had many restaurants and the hotel included Lyft rides within 3 miles. The TPA airport was less than 15 minutes too!

The hotel is top notch clean. The atmosphere is modern and the entire staff over our stay was fabulous. We ate lunch and dinner at the restaurant. Our servers were amazing. The food was on point as well. We will 100% be staying again. Shout out to Garrett and Carley! :)

We had a fantastic stay at The Karol Hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. The hotel is modern, with beautifully designed and very comfortable rooms. It was also exceptionally quiet, making for a restful night’s sleep. The location is excellent—easily accessible, with plenty of free parking, and just a short drive to both Saint Petersburg and Tampa downtown. The hotel also features a great bar and restaurant, adding to the convenience and overall experience. Highly recommended.

Very clean upscale hotel. Free self parking was a huge plus! Restsaurant was closed Sunday but we found other places only a 5 minute drive for dinner, also a nice, new Publix grocery store. Bar downstaits and another upstairs (its called a "rooftop" but its really a bar with a small outside balcony... but still cool! ) No balconies on rooms. Lsrge rooms with comfortable "fancy" chairs. Mini frig & coffee maker in rooms. Lots of overpriced alcohol & snacks in the room... really didn't appreciate that but someone might. Its located by a starbucks and a couple restaurants that you can walk to. Its near I-275 access. Would stay again!

I got here at 6pm to check in and was told they have my reservation but they were completely full and no rooms. Told they were short on cleaning staff but will eventually have a room. Had a room available 3 hours after check in. Had to go to the lobby bathroom to change and had to wait another hour for the room after a very long day of travel. Unacceptable.

Breakfast was fantastic. The brunch offered a good variety of choices to our palate’s delight There was nothing not to like. The hotel experience was excellent. The staff was accommodating and the facility was impressive.

Loved our stay at the Karol. Its location was nicely between Tampa and St Pete, making our excursions to both areas easy. Nice big rooms, clean, quiet and the main lobby is inviting and elegant. If we’re back in the Tampa/St Pete area, we’ll stay at the Karol.

Nice and clean property. Great view of water/Tampa in the distance. Parking lot was smaller, hall lights were a bit bright around the room door at night.

Checkin was great! Service forgot our breakfast order for specific time but made it pretty fast. We got the free drinks voucher for inconvenience. Hotel was very clean, rooms well appointed. Check in staff were pleasant and efficient. My rating was downgraded because one of the reasons we chose this hotel was the outdoor dining area they have for their signature restaurant, we enjoy dining al fresco and we were looking forward to a nice breakfast on our last day of our trip. But they had reserved the entire patio for a wedding so it was unavailable. The dining patio is featured on the website, it should be reliably available to the public or else sufficient notice should be given to guests. This was a major disappointment, especially since there aren't a lot of other nice breakfast options in the area. Also the pictures of the rooftop lounge are misleading, there is a small balcony area where a few people can sit out and enjoy the views but those few tables were in high demand so we had to sit inside instead.

I really love to stay at The Karol. It's my 3rd time and everyone is super friendly and professional. Only 20-30min to the beach, 30min to Tampa and 30-40min to downtown St. Pete. Excellent location and extremely clean rooms.

Cons: firm bed, shower leaked to tile, tile (in shower, bathroom and door entryway) was VERY slippery when wet, hard slope to drain in shower; made it awkward to stand in it and nervous about slipping. Walls are thin. Motion switch on light in closet not needed. Need outlets next to the bed for phone chargers.
