The water in the shower wasn’t draining so we had to shower in filth . The ceiling fan wasn’t working and the fire alarm was hanging off the ceiling. We saw all types of cockroaches & ants. We got a late check out at noon and they were banging on the door at 10am . Landline phone didn’t work and they don’t believe in suppling ice and paper towels; even though it was a room with a kitchenette . Toilet wasn’t working properly as well .

This was the worst Extended Stay I’ve ever been to. I always pick there because they’re always great but this one was awful. The room had dead roaches, the toilet took 3 flushes to actually go down. The breakfast was not what it’s like at others. Not to emotion I didn’t know this was a live in facility. There was people with plants in the upper windows and a car had a grill in the back of its trunk. The staff was really nice and that’s the only thing that was good about this place.

Overall the advertisment was misleading. No pool, gym, or breakfast... My stay was quiet with an occational barking dog. Pet stays should be limited to a certain area. Room could use some CLR or lime away, many front doors have large gaps at the bottom. Shower head crappy tub showed mold and mildew, floors filty.

This place was very nice and safe. The front desk was so wonderful to help me. After my house fire caused by my neighbor not only took 47 years and my baby Peanut dogs life away from me. Nothing but the price.

There was buildup in the bathroom on the railings, bathtub wasn't fully clean, shower head had buildup as well and was yellowish looking.

The room was clean, the front desk attendant was great. The problem were the guests. Very noisy people all night long. Slamming doors, smelled like cigarettes and banging on walls. Walls were so thin you could hear the loud tv next door all night long up until the early morning. My fault I guess, I didn’t realize that people actually lived here for extended periods at a time. Which is silly of me because it says that right in the name. Kim up front was the sweetest lady. So 5 stars for her. Just not the place for an overnight stay.

I rented this for kitchen amenities and a pool. At check-in I was told there was no pool, but I could use one at another Extended Stay in the area! Kitchen was not stocked but items could be gotten at the front desk.. There was no inventory on site! I was given 1 plate, 1 mug, 1 cup, 2 forks, 2 spoons, 1 knife, a carving knife and a fry pan. Try making meals with those amenities!! There was not even a coffee maker available. I was told that guests do not return them Then go to WalMart and buy more stock!!!! We found Hair balls on the carpet. That weren’t ours. The outlet in our bathroom did not work and so we had to blow dry our hair elsewhere.

Nobody told me that housekeeping was every 14 days, only there two night. Floor was unclean and sticky, asked the front desk to have cleaned, never done. Glad I was there for only two nights. I left running!

We had a terrible stay, and the misfortune was that the people who were above us were impossibly loud and pounding their feet non-stop, literally non-stop all night and day. the room we slept in was full of moisture and a terrible stench. there is absolutely nothing in the room, no salt, no sugar, no plastic spoons or forks or cups. the bathroom is very dirty with an awful lot of stains and the rest of the dirt. in one word, terrible. never again, nor recommend to anyone.

The hotel was so clean and the rooms were well-maintained. The staff were so kind and friendly. The only problem we had is that the breakfasts didn’t have many options for people with allergies. I would give this place 4 stars and would recommend it to others.

This place is amazing, and it feels very homey, the staff is amazing they are always nice and joke around with you in the mornings, which is very nice because that leads off to a good, and positive start in the morning, there is always breakfast in the morning which is good for a quick grab and go in case you’re running late for work or school. Love it here Nothing not to like, it’s amazing

Notified hotel 3x that we would be late checking in. Arrived and used their phone to call for check in as directed. NO ONE EVER ANSWERED!! Called corporate, called front desk, NO ONE EVER CAME TO LET US IN THE LOCKED FRONT DOOR! HAD TO GO TO ANOTHER HOTEL & PAY AGAIN FOR A ROOM!

It was near the event I was attending It smelled like cigarette smoke and animals everywhere. There needs to be separation of what rooms animals can be in and non-animal rooms - they should not be interchanged due to allergies and sanitary purposes. I’ve never stayed at a hotel where all rooms can be either or. Never. Supposedly there’s no smoking in rooms, but I had to buy a plug-in freshener for my room bc it was smelling so bad. People are absolutely smoking in these rooms. And there was a lingering marijuana scent in the hall. Cops were there every night as well. Absolutely will NEVER stay at this place again.

Cleanliness of hotel overall was not good. Rooms not equipped with any kind of cups or utensils. You have to call and order a package. Wouldmt stay again honestly. Upset I blindly selected the hotel based on the name versus looking into the spot.

The first room they gave me, the smell was unbearable. The woman at the front desk was very nice and switched the room. The second room was dirty. The toilet had a yellow ring in it. I went and bought bleach and poured it in and the ring disappeared. Don't waste your money there!

The staff is excellent they try hard but the owner is a cheap mother blank everything needs to be redone it's pretty obvious he has a deal with the city or the county to put people in there and he gets paid no matter what the condition

Everything was fine until we went into the hotel room, it smelled very bad, like body odor and onions? The sheets/ linens were stained and the bathroom sink was dirty as well. We went to the front desk to let them know and all we got was a fresh set of linens and febreeze, the febreeze only lasted about 2 hours and then the odors came back.

Good location, updated rooms, great bead. Room and bathroom was very clean. The staff was the only issue. No one else was at the front deck when we arrived but the two staff members carried on a non important conversation and totally ignored us. This same thing happened three qdditional times. Very durty, the parking, the hotel and the room. I found a dirty bloody tampon in my garbage. Our feet was black after 15 minutes walking on the floor.

Worst hotel stay I've ever had. The hotel was dirty, smelled bad, and overall in very poor condition. No cooking supplies were available and that's a major reason to stay. The TV signal frequently dropped out. Overall, just absolutely terrible experience.

I believe they was short staffed the good thing the front desk lady Jeanie left desk while mgr. David was training another staff member not sure what her name was because no Gabe badge at all . Jeanie went and clean our room so my mother and I could have a room .

The area around the hotel was so-so, looked a little sketchy and unfortunately, the complementary breakfast consisted of hot water and oatmeal. We wont likely return

Front desk said the towels are clean, but they are stained and look dirty. The breakfast is deceiving. We went down the first day and there was only three muffins with coffee and creamer was out. They only give muffins and coffee for breakfast and you have to go down really early before 7am if you want any snacks because they don’t restock. Hotel advertises coffee all day, but we didn’t see any coffee stations available.

I was actually very surprised at how clean it was. It's been awhile since I've seen really white towels. The staff was super friendly. Check-in was really fast I didn't have to stand there waiting and waiting like you do at other hotels. I would definitely recommend it for other people traveling with their families or friends.

We were late to check in due to our plane being delayed and we had to call expedia and get them to call the hotel to get someone to come to the reception desk. We rang the bell loudly twice and nobody came to the desk.

The employees were very nice. The room was clean. It could use some updating but otherwise it was fine. I would stay there again.

There is no pool or breakfast at this location, so advertising was a little misleading. You’re allowed to use the pool 30 mins away…. We had the noisiest people above us and nothing was done after calling the front desk. The kitchen had no utensils or pans, so bring your own esp b/c they do not serve breakfast which I was looking forward to.

This place advertised breakfast and all there is a table with coffee and muffins.. we asked for our room to be cleaned and they said they o let have house keeping every day days also it does have a small kitchen with no dishes and a super old refrigerator. No pool. I was about 200 for 2 night I would not stay in that place anymore. The hotel building looks good from the outside and the hallways and the rooms are ok bu the beds are small I stayed with my 3 grand babies and my daughter, also to be able to get clean towels we had to return the other ones we had wet

Elevator smells like urine, along with the staircases. The bed was hard and pillow had no structure. The floors, after showering left a dirty film on our feet, so we had to wear shoes. Staff was not very friendly as they were more interested in their own conversations. People at all hours of the night loitering the parking lot and some sleeping in cars. Very uncomfortable situation for my wife.

The floors in the lobby and room were very dirty. Not sure if they were mopped my entire stay.

Room was clean. Fairly quiet although may want to rethink mounting tv to a wall when next door immediately behind the wall is a bed. Had to use noise cancel headphones all nights cause they left tv on all night. Not expecting this to change due to costs but based what I paid hoping to have some quiet in room.

Hotel smells of smoke in most places. Upgrades needed for rooms.

I especially want to give a shout out to front desk young lady Tina she was so helpful and got us whatever we needed.. she was an excellent help to us and made us feel like home during our 6 night stay.

This is our first stay at The Extended day suites hotel in St Petersburg. Tina received us first Night was so sweet and courteous. Explained hotel and amenities and was truthful That is a respectable quality. Hotel seems a bit older but they try to upkeep remember you get what you do pay for. Room was cleaned no complaints there. Area was quiet. The only thing I can say is the hallways very dim lighting and a bit older. We liked it and we consider going back again.

Staffs are not so friendly There is almost no WiFi in the room too slow. It is same that no wifi. I asked to change room and said not possible. Staff at the hotel gave me the number that I need to call to the wifi company instead of hotel staff. I am thinking that am I staff in this hotel??? If you are booking check the room location

Check-in experience was above and beyond with Tina. Jessica and the assistant manager were very nice and accommodating. That alone will make me come back. Recommend this stay

Great property , quiet, roomy

We didn’t even stay the night. Sketchy people loitering around the front entrance & in the lobby. Screaming children in room next to ours. This looked more like a low rent weekly motel than an Extended Stay.

The room was clean. Did notice a few bugs crawling on hotel room floor in the morning.

Very dirty/unclean and filthy upon arrival. Floors were black from dirt and grime that had been there for months. Roaches infested everywhere. Air conditioning didn’t cool and the entire place smelled liked cigarettes and weed. The light fixtures had dust and dirt (along with pet hair) that had not been wiped in years. Pubic hair all over in the tub. Vagrants hanging around outside (feared for my safety). Manager entered my room without permission and traumatized my animals. He began to harass and bully me into paying a $250 “damages” fee because my dog had an accident on the floor. I was harassed for three days over them wanting to go in my rental for supposedly “repairs”. I have never in my life been treated so poorly, disrespected, and talked to worse than a dog in my life! That manager was out of control and has absolutely no customer service etiquette!! NO ONE should ever be spoken to so ugly, condescending, and downright rude!!! I will be making a public post on social media shortly.

Hotel itself is well maintained, just a little older… Room was a little dusty, I dusted it myself. Most of the people staying there were long term guests, or hurricane victims. The hotel would clear out early bc most everyone was going to work. I liked the night front desk lady too — she was tall like me and had a very dry sense of humor, which I found hilarious. There’s a reason this place is always booked solid, and it has nothing to do with the room. It’s the people working there. Tons of food options nearby, convenient to Tampa & St. Pete & Clearwater Beach (pretty much equidistant to all 3 areas), and great staff. I’d stay here again.

Stayed 1 week house keeping never came to clean my room smh

I had no issues I enjoyed my stay all went well.

Essential parts of the room were clean, but there were emegency room discharge papers under the chair and a beer can and dirty socks under the bed.

Incredibly friendly and caring staff. Jessica at the front desk is amazing at her job. The room was clean and very comfortable. We loved the kitchen. It was like being at home but better.

This hotel is in desperate need of care. The staff was super friendly and helpful, but everything was dingy and in need of replacement, in a way that makes you question if it’s ok to put down your bag. The hallways and my room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke. The sheets and towels were clean, and the bed was perfectly fine. It is right next to several other hotels so next time I’ll pay a little more to stay down the street.

Hotels.com sold me 2 bed room, not available when we arrived. Be sure to pay at hotel.

The dumpster if I left it outside I’ll be fined. I was not informed that. In most hotels they tell us to leave trash before room service starts so housekeeping can pick it up.

From the lobby to the hallway stink of weed and cigarette, i got stong by some kind of bug on my head on my 1st night while sleeping, I woke up with a swollen head and pain. I have stayed in nicer Extended Stay but not this one.

Place needs cleaning, stove is old, furniture is old, not a pleasant smell. It's sad because I've stayed at esa before, it was much better.

This property is very run down and in need of renovation. Some areas haven't been cleaned in a long time. It may currently be a non- smoking hotel, but it hasn't always been. The smoke smell is still in the carpet and curtains, and they're trying to cover it with a very strong air freshener, which makes a bad combination for people with allergies. We expected much better for the price.

It was decent for a one night stay.

There were no regular bath towels...only wash cloths and hand towels

You get what you pay for. Hotel was low budget and in desperate need of repairs. There was a stench in our room and throughout the hallways of the property (pot and cigarette smoke). There was also a group of sketchy individuals in the parking lot drinking beer and being loud and obnoxious. Would not recommend for individuals traveling alone or those with small children as it did not feel safe.

There was no coffee make, and the rooms need to be updated.

The room i had bed bugs in it and they move me to another room that did not have bed bugs so me and my kids love that room 117 so thank you so much for that and we had a great sleep and thank you staff for understanding

I had to canceled original reservation extended stay America because their elevator was broken since my son is on wheelchair. So I made another reservation to extended stay America near that extended stay America through Hotels. Com. It was totally different looking compared pictures on Hotels. Com. So thirty, so I had to clean, and they can't provide kitchen packages at all. I made reservation on extended stay America because they have kitchen. There was no reason to stay longer, so I move to town home marriott. Manager apologize and return one night charge but I will never make an reservation for extended stay America.

We left after 1 night due to the smell of marijuana int he hallways both upon check in at 1am in the morning and upon going to breakfast at 8am. The breakfast was also very scant, there was coffee and muffins, no juice or anything else.

My non smoking room stunk like cig smoke, had to buy Lysol and plugins. Being extended stay I think it has many longer tenants, will avoid these types of hotels next time.

It’s totally different from the pictures in the internet. They have people living there. The room was so dirty, bad conditions inside and outside. We had to go somewhere else.

I paid $570 (tax included) for 3 nights when booked the room three months ago. And back then, the average rating of this hotel is 7.8. For $190 per night, I thought I would get a decent experience. But it was terrible. First, the linens are OLD and DIRTY. The towels had clear signs of wear-and-tear. And, the towels were dirty. They were not white towels anymore. Kinda light gray. And, I've seen yellow, red, and black stains on them. They so dirty, that I had to buy a roll of paper towels to use after shower. Secondly, the room is noisy. I could hear people talking or snoring in the next room. What made it worse is, when some other room used the water, the water pipes in my room would give loud vibrating noise, like a power wash. I was waken up one night, because some room used the water after mid-night. Thirdly, some of the staff (not all) are indifferent. When I complained about the water pipe noise, one staff was like it was an old building. No sign of apology. I did not expect them to fix the water pipe, but at least move me to another room. But, NO, he did not care. I was stuck with them and could NOT cancel the booking after staying overnight already. I felt being tricked into booking this hotel. Three months ago, the rating was 7.8. I don't understand how they could get an average 7.8 rating with that level of service and room condition.

I was at this location for one month during that time there are several sketchy people in the parking lot and wandering the halls in the wee hours either side of me had very nice quiet people I had to request dishes pots and pans and ended up buying new ones because of the condition of what they gave me

I felt like I was walking into an apartment building. Seemed like people and their families lived there. Didn’t feel all that safe being there by myself. Great fun that I was only there for a night. Also they didn’t have breakfast. They had coffee and packets of oatmeal. As the staff said it was only to grab and go

Stayed here for the first time this and it was really nice and comfortable. The only thing I didn't like was a barking dog in the room next to me. I think all dog owners should be in the same area and not spread around.

. Dogs barking, hallways dark and smells awful. Elevator, floors, rooms, hallways are very, very dirty. Needs proper maintenance supervision and attention. The smell of pee in the parking lot. A bench that harbours!! Reception area needs to be appealing, no where to sit. I spent 8 days and didn’t eat there at all. I believe there was significant investment done to the property but it’s very poorly maintained. I would not return or recommend to a friend., especially with children… sorry, just being real.., telling it like it is!! Clean it up and get a better score.,

My room was not swept and the room was smoked in before I arrived. The smell never went away. Thank goodness my wife and children were not with me. The customer ratings on this hotel was good and that's why I chosed this hotel

Room is not well insulated you can hear the next room talking, people walking up and down hallways and slamming doors all night long. The bed is making so many cracks noises, mattress is uneven. The room has no hair dryer, coffee pot, cups, and shower/shampoo soap. No breakfast.

Waited for a hour or longer to be checked in.. nobody could be found

We stayed 9 nights. Chose this hotel because it had a kitchen. The first night upon signing in we witnessed an imposing disagreement between a resident and receptionist. During this disagreement we were “forgotten about” we had just left the airport and was very tired. We couldn’t walk out since we had prepaid our large bill. The stressful evening continued. My friend had a med that required her to warm to dissolve it to consume. No dishes or pots, we had to call down to acquire them after ringing to many times I went down to have them bring them to the room. The person behind the counter said she was the only person working and I would have to wait. We waited over an hour. Again no one answered the phone. Went down and she was on the phone. I stood there and waited for her to get off the phone or at least acknowledge me. When I asked when we would be getting the dish package. Her reply was “SHE WOULD GIVE IT TO ME TO TAKE UP” I told her we had been here almost Two Hours trying to get settled in and relax we were exhausted . Well it wasn’t over she brought the package to us with the comment that the manager told her it was not her responsibility to bring it to us. I wanted her to read the info placed on the desk that stated differently. The next day wasn’t any better as the two burner stove (the BIG Burner) didn’t work. 9 !days 1 small burner. The floor had not been mopped because my socks got very dirty. I dropped my pen looked under the bed. I took a picture, filty. NEVER!

Arrived and no water 😳 then was told overbooked for one and given a room with 2 queen’s. Went to 1st room and it was filthy and I wiped down with Clorox wipes. No outlets by bed for sleep machine unless you got under bed to plug in. Let the front desk no the conditions. Moved us to another room not much better. No remote for tv, no coffee pot and no hair dryer. I’ve never seen a hotel as dirty as this and would never recommend it.

Purchased no smoking room and room smelled like stale smoke. Staff was very nice, hard working. Maintenance of finishes in room seems deferred giving appearance of being dirty. I think staff cleans what is there. Couldn't recommend it. This is similar experience i had at a different exteded stay america minus the roaches. Last time for me.....

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The room appeared to have never been vacuumed, or swept, or dusted. The common area was also quite dirty and poorly maintained. The Trash Room was exactly that. It was rarely emptied and had a horrible stench coming from it. The Hotel supposedly offers items to "customize" the kitchen. But I could not get a toaster -- as offered on the list of items. And every time I asked for it I felt like I was bothering the staff. I also could not get a hair dryer. How ridiculous is that in a hotel? Lastly, the staff were neither friendly nor helpful.
