    Nothing. Unkept, overgrown, pool was empty. Room smelled like a wet dog, moldy. Carpet was outdated and dirty. Carpet was wet by a/c and chairs felt wet. Grounds were overgrown and unkept. I have never stayed in a hotel this disgusting before. I stayed a few minutes and immediately checked out.

    They are liars. The website states it is a 15-minute drive to the beach, but in reality, it takes 33 minutes. The site claims the pool is open, but it is actually closed. At the front desk, they said no money would be charged to our bank account, yet they charged it anyway—what kind of deception is this? You are a reputable company and shouldn't work with such dishonest people; they give you a bad name and tarnish your company's good reputation.

    Staff was excellent! Very kind and helpful the entire stay. For it being a cheap hotel room the quality is what you get. But there a few concerns I have for future guest. Such as pets, the smell of animal feces and Urine was present upon entering some doors and some hallways. As well as animal fecal matter on the property (Parking lot) I also did see pests in some of the doors frames. The pool was not in order during our stay which was a bit inconvenient, but the area surrounding it was decent. The breakfast was okay and meals were changed daily which was nice! One major complaint I have was our shower was patched and water would seep under the path work and it was quite yucky, we requested to have it fixed, not sure what was done to fix it. But it does pose for a safety and health hazard. Otherwise, beds were comfortable, AC worked well, room was clean (room did smell like cigarettes we had a non smoking room) not a terrible stay.

    This hotel was nasty I didn’t even want to go in the room due to the condition of the lobby and hallways. The elevator, hallway and doors were dirty and damaged. The property was not properly maintained and was extremely overpriced. I would not recommend staying here.

    Place was not clean. We were told by phone we could park our car there free of charge while we travelled from the airport nearby. We were told at check-in there was a daily charge. Halls were filthy and room smelled very strong of cleaner but was still very dirty with stains on the carpet everywhere. Very disappointed because this brand of hotels are usually nice. Not this one.

    Booked through Expedia but when we got there the front desk let us know they were having issues with 3rd party bookings. The hotel was actually under complete renovation and there was no hot tub or pool. Due to this we were able to cancel the reservation for free and got lucky to find rooms next door at Fairfield Inn and Suites by Marriott that did have a pool.

    The bathtub was old and I was afraid to stand in it to shower. I went and bought Lysol to make sure I wouldn't catch anything. The room smelled like old wet socks or something damp and old. The staff, with the one exception of the desk clerk from Friday night, were very accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was horrible. The pool was closed. I'd probably stay again, if they'd update the bathroom.

    The employees were so nice and accommodating. They helped us out so much and were just so nice. We were within walking distance of multiple restaurants and stores. Easily able to Uber with no wait and just take it easy. The front desk woman was so helpful and understanding that we showed up early and it was so helpful. I am planning another vacation and saw a La Quinta within my distance and I am automatically going with them.

    The property itself is in need of some love. Everything is fully functional, but the paint along the pool deck is peeling, the bathtub in the room, same thing peeling. The breakfast staff was rude and often times seems annoyed with her job. She would just push through you and not say excuse me. If you did something she didn’t like she would yell across the small dining room for you to fix whatever the problem was. I know you cannot control all the guests, but we did encounter another guest who proceeded to smoke on the pool deck when the signs were clearly posted no smoking, only in designated areas.

    Room is very clean. The only problem I had was that I had a dog to take outside, and there was a lot of cigarette butts and litter around the outside of the property. The floor was sticky, where you came in and out on the side.

    The front desk staff Walter and Maria were very accommodating and friendly. When I arrived I requested that my sheets were changed and it was done immediately. I can't say what the surroundings were like at night bc I didn't go out but I felt safe within the hotel. The hotel has some vending machines and ice machines on the floors. My bathroom was clean, soap, shampoo and makeup remover provided. There are also a couple of places within walking distance, including a CVS. If you're just staying bc you have some events to attend to, and you're not planning to vacation at your hotel, then this is his place to stay for the price. The hotel feels like it needs some work. The carpet smelled like a mix between humidity and some kind of cleaner, so every time I walked into my room there was an over powering unpleasant smell. There were also some tiny flies in my room, if I left my food out even just for a little bit they would invade it. The phone didn't work in my room and the pool area was not pretty at all. Housekeeping never came to my room and the house keeper who would attend the breakfast area was extremely rude.

    The property is old but it’s okay for a short stay. Our room has a fridge and a microwave so that’s a plus. The hair dryer is the cheap kind and works on low heat. It might not work if you have thick or long hair. The room set up is quite decent. We had a king bed, there’s a good sized desk that you can use for work desk or for eating. And there’s another big chair that semi-reclines. Air-conditioning works well. If you just need a place with a clean bed and shower and nothing fancy, it’ll do.

    The food was nice They did not have utensils to remove the waffles nor did they have forks to eat with On the pictures it showed a jacuzzi which is the reason I chose this hotel. I had three doctors appointment and really wanted to relax. The pool was dirty and the constant smell of marijuana was nauseating

    Toilets didnt flush consistently in 2 different rooms we were assigned to. We had to pick the best. We were not offered any compensation for the defective toilets. We explained that we needed a properly functioning toilet due to medical issues but the problem was not resolved. Breakfast was sloppy and barely warm. The stairwell smelled and was filthy, worried about touching anything as you might catch something. Were told we would have a room attendant to clean and tidy but nobody ever came.

    Where do I start. Received a call the day before arriving at the hotel to let me know the room I picked for our stay on this site hasn’t been available for a year due to a pipe burst. I was given a choice of two lesser rooms or if I didn’t like that I could cancel. The front desk had great attitude about this when expressing my concern over the reason I wanted the suite I picked. There was no compensation for downgrading me to a reg room from a suite. The room smelled like urine and was very musty. We had two towels in the room for 4 of us. We asked several employees to bring us up more towel, as well as the front desk who told us they didnt have any clean towels and that he would bring some to for us when they get cleaned which never happened. We had to physically go down on our last night there to ask yet again. During our stay, the toilet was horrible to use and overflowed twice, never had the towels she used replaced, nor did any housekeeper come into our room to clean the entire time we stayed there, three nights 4 days. The site also states they have a hot tub which is the sole reason I picked this hotel and was told they haven’t had one for 5years. Thoroughly disappointed in this Wyndham hotel. Do not stay here.

    The hotel was filthy. Upon arriving at the door to our room, it looked like it had been kicked in before. If we hadn’t been extremely tired from a long day traveling, we would have turned right around immediately. Got in the room and it was nasty. We slept with our clothes on. The bed had spider webs running the entire length at the bottom near the floor. There were stains on the carpet that looked like blood. The bathroom door was literally missing the center part of the door. Just the2 outer parts held together with drywall screws. We pushed the “dresser” in front of the door in fear of what might happen during the night. Barely slept. In the morning we packed up. Only changed our clothes and brushed our teeth and went downstairs. The shower/tub was nasty and didn’t want to use it. The “breakfast” (what there was of it) didn’t look appealing at all, so just got coffee and went to the front desk to check out. The gentleman there was very understanding about our concerns. He refunded the complete stay. He also took pictures of our pictures to show the owner/manager? Save yourself a terrible experience and book somewhere else! I’m not sure if I can upload the pictures, but will try..

    Was free and decent Serious renovation is needed at this hotel. gym was closed and unavailable to guests. The room - Dirty rug , lamps were not dusted at all. Beds were sunken in. Bathroom was not cleaned very old bath tub and vent was very dusty. Some guest appeared to live there as a shelter I’m assuming. Kids riding bikes and scooters in the lobby. Very sketchy individuals outside. Side Door to the outside was taped up no security for guest. Front Staff were very nice

    There were 3 of us staying there for a week. Twice when we asked for clean towels we were told they didn’t have any and the other times we told them we needed 3 towels and were only given 2. House keeping only came once and we did not have the do not disturb sign on the door. The sheets on my bed had blood stains on them and the over all cleanliness of the room could have been better.

    Room wasn’t even clean, had to go out and buy cleaner just to feel comfortable. Also the curtain was all ripped up as was the bed skirt, but was really uncomfortable. Bathroom tub/shower was cracked and leaky. Carpet was very sticky and stained, wore shoes unless I was in the bed.

    Rather clean bathroom without they did hotel room and outdated carpet and outdated lobby and outdated breakfast area. It’s close to everything in fine for the price you pay. The elevators weren’t working in the morning even after the overnight staff hit the “reset”. The owner obviously doesn’t wanna spend any money. Breakfast offerings were just OK.

    This was the worst hotel experience in my entire life. First off, there was dirty clothing in the room on the floor, upon entry, from the prior guests. Secondly, the tv was not functional, and to make matters worse, right outside my room, 310, there was a flashing flood light, that was lighting up my room even with the blinds closed, it was a nightmare situation, then when i complained about my room, the front desk clerk did agreed to set me up with a different room if I came down to the desk of course it’s 1145 at night, but the elevator wasn’t working on the third floor. You can’t script this stuff. Now I get downstairs finally I guess they reset the elevator and I’m livid and the manager offers me a full refund back to expedia a day later I call expedia to find out about the refund. Expedia caused the front desk and they say, they never issued the refund. do not stay at this facility. It’s horrible.

    The deluxe room was very spacious although only 1 of the 2 air conditioners were working/plugged; some of the wall sockets were not working; air draft was felt but did not mind since I prefer constant air exchange anyways; cleaning of the surroundings ( shower/tub) could be done better ; the bed and couch/seats looked “ older but no bugs seen so that is a plus and the bed was actually comfortable to sleep on ; did not avail the unheated pool due to cold weather/cold water temperatures; breakfast was great with biscuits/English muffin and gravy, sausages, scrambled eggs, yogurt, waffle, oatmeal, fruits, juices, milk, tea and coffee and different breads/bagel; front desk staff Walter, another 1 whose name starts with letter E ( who also helps out in the breakfast nook ) were great ; housekeeping were helpful too.

    This is the 1st and last time my family stays here. Room was terrible, rust in the tub and mold on the bathroom ceiling, bedding had stains on it.     The soap/body wash sample was empty and the others were open and used. Security??? The carded doors were dictated open(NO SECURITY) I was extremely disappointed and I had made this reservation in February to make my time run smoother down there. I was put out and had to spend double the money to find a place that night because this site was full…. I was told there was nothing that could be done! I had to contact Expedia to get a refund .     The parking lot had two sections of loitering groups of smokers hanging out in folding chairs most of the day and night. The toilet ran loudly all the time/all night long. There was no alarm clock in the room? First time for that. Overall the feeling of the hotel was dingy. The mattress was the best part of our stay.

    The room was in good condition, seemed clean and well-appointed. But the public areas were grubby. I never saw anyone cleaning any areas the entire 3 days I was there. There was an extreme amount of noise from the nearby highway (i measured noise as high as 76 decibels, not including when jets took off from nearby St. Pete/Clearwater airport). After the first night, when I got little undisturbed slerp, I did ask if I might be moved to a room facing away from the road but was told that the property was sold out (although the parking lot was half empty). The desk staff with whom I interacted were polite, if unable to help.

    I was in town for a funeral and this hotel was the WORST place I have ever stayed in. Was not able to take a shower because of the mold in the bathroom, was not ale to use the bathroom because on the non functioning toilet (had to flush 3 to 4 times), was not able to sleep, AT ALL because of the air conditioner sounding like a generator and some pet was allowed to stay in the room, and due to NOT being cleaned PROPERLY, I could NOT stop sneezing and coughing. Being a disabled veteran, that suffers from PTSD, this hotel experience triggered a lot of my symptoms and I will NEVER recommend or advise ANYONE to stay at this establishment and wish I could request a FULL refund.

    This hotel looks and feels like a rehab center. The carpet in my room was extremely dirty and the whole room smelled like wet dog and feet BO. To the point my wife and I had to go to CVS and get 2 cans of Lysol and douse the entire room with them, just to be able to stay there. The toilet had to be flushed at least 8 times to be fully clean. I called the front desk and was told a handyman would be coming up to the room soon but no one ever did. I had to ask the person at the front desk to let me use a bathroom in an unoccupied room. The two folks I spoke to at the front desk were nice, but the place is an absolute dump.

    Worst stay I've had at a hotel. Mold in the shower, toilet seats do not fit the toilet, entire place smelled like urine. Trash bags were piled up in the hallways. Flying bugs in the room. Hand prints on the headboard and walls. I voiced my concerns at the front desk and was told there was nothing they could do.     The floor in the breakfast dining area was filthy, your feet stuck to it every time you took a step and the front entrance does not have electric sensor doors that open automatically when your hands are full with luggage. Our keys quit working when we went to breakfast so we had to go back downstairs to get them rekeyed in order to get back into our room which was inconvenient. I would not recommend this hotel, especially if traveling with family/children as I believe quite a few of the guests were drug users.

    The entire motel was dirty, and people were walking around the halls drinking beer and smoking. There were people sleeping in cars covered in towels in the parking lot, yelling and running down hallways while slamming doors all through the night. It was like a community of transients partying on a Friday night. When I left my room you could smell marijuana and cigarettes in the halls. My room was dirty, the shower had cracks and mold. I felt extremely unsafe and left at 5AM a day before I was scheduled to check out. No one should stay here and Expedia should be ashamed to represent this business

    The room was filthy. The carpet had stains everywhere and there were stains in the bathtub. The room had an odd odor. Overall, it was pretty disgusting. I mentioned this to the attendant who asked me if the carpet matched the hallway carpet, which appeared to be fairly new. I described the carpet in the room; he then assigned me a new room that he said was better. I think it was worse. In the end, I canceled my reservation and requested a refund from Expedia. Expedia should not advertise since hotels on its website. No one should stay in a place like that.

    The room was filthy & disgusting. matress, chairs & sofa were stained with urine, blood, dirt, food, oil and other bodily fluids. When i tried to contact the frint desk, i found the phone was missing. No clerk available at the frint desk at night. It was a nightmare.

    It's been the most enjoyable and wonderful stays we have experienced yet the staff and manager is so amazing . believe me this is the place to stay everyone is so considerate and kind it's hard to put into words but the closest I can come is it's like being home fantastic atmosphere and happy people we definitely will make it one of our stays from now on come give it a try I imagine you will say the same thing . it's just wonderful place 😊👍👍👍😅👍

    Also, I'm an experience Floridian. I'm used to seeing 2" palmetto bugs indoors. But the 3.5" smoky brown roach definitely was an unsettling visitor in my room. This place is just gross.

    This hotel I believe is going through a remodel. We walked in and the musk smell was terrible. There was mold in the bathrooms and throughout the room. We stayed in this hotel 6yrs ago and it was nothing like this. We walked out and got another hotel. Luckily, the hotel and hotels.com agreed to give us a refund.

    We switched rooms once because when we went in the carpet around the air conditioner was soaked. Weather this was from the drip above or from the unit itself. They did switch us rooms, but the second one had its own issues as well. From yellow spots on the ceiling above the bed, to the corners of the baseboards peeling away, and more water in the window which had leaked onto the Sheetrock and shown obvious signs of distress. While it did accommodate our needs, the photos can be misleading based on perception and availability. The staff did do their best to accommodate us, but the building itself really needs to be maintained better

    The elevators weren’t working and the pool was very dirty. They have no smoking signs in the pool area, but I was there with my young daughters and several people were smoking, and no one from the hotel said anything to them.

    Maria at the front desk was absolutely amazing! Very sweet and welcoming. When we wanted an early check in she was very consideranted especially for the kiddos and made sure the was clean and and ready for us. Very helpful with our week stay there. Breakfast was simple but just what the kiddos wanted. Pool was good enough for my kids to enjoy it.

    room 314 had at least 50 termites flying around bathroom lights or dead on the sink top when we got up in the morning. Not good. Ft desk took notes when we checked out. but if these got into our luggage we could carry them home with us. These were common flying termites that we see this time of year in South FL.

    I am so impressed with Ms. Maria Bailey (manager) that I have to let someone know what a gem that she is. Imagine being an inn keeper at a small airport hotel and are used to people staying 1or 2 nights between flights and then all at once having many displaced families with children, elderly, and disabled sent to you by FEMA to take care of for months and months on end..These people have many individual needs considering their individual circumstances and Maria saw to it that things were handled and needs were met.The atmosphere is very warm and welcoming and seems more like family.Even though these folks have been here for the better part of a year,they are so appreciative of the attention that has been paid to making the situation as comfortable as possible..Keeping a positive uplifting attitude in light of everything and for this extended period of time could not always be easy, but Maria just has a way of talking to people that just makes you feel better no matter what. Thank you La Quinta for stepping up to help out when needed, and thank you for having Maria Bailey ,she's the best!!!

    The two individuals that I'm speaking about is the man on May 4th that works night shift and the man that work day shift May 5th the lady that worked in May 4th to join the day very very awesome I will never forget her or she was very very awesome she should get a raise she was amazing she actually cared about her customers situation and and everything that was going on with her customers very very helpful but there's other two men very very nasty disrespectful

    I’ll start with the positives, breakfast, staff, pool and price. The negatives: the room-dirty, damp-the bed and rug, the shower head had a hole so when you took shower it sprayed on your head, the shower constantly leaked. The work out facility was closed due to construction, we were not advised prior to coming, had to pay $10 to go to gym. We were not told that displaced hurricane victims were residing there. We met some very nice people but others were sketchy and we did not feel safe. A constant smell of Marijuana throughout the hotel. I have stayed at La Quinta’s before and they were beautiful hotels. I never felt so dirty even after taking a shower. I would never recommend this place and I feel Wyndham should be ashamed to have this hotel associated with their name.

    We stayed 3 nights and after the first night I had small insect/flea bites on my legs and they itches like crazy. We got up and went to breakfast and the lady taking care of the breakfast area announced 10 minutes to closing 30 minutes prior to closing. 15 minutes before closing she started removing the food items and coffee. Very rude. That was the only morning we went to breakfast. We stay at Laquita Hotels when we travel and in most cases have a good experience. This hotel, not so much. I do not recommend staying at this particular hotel ☹️☹️☹️

    I did some research. I read reviews and the 10-15 I read said this place was clean. You are all lying. This place was very run down. The carpet in the hallways and room were disgusting! There was only one extra outlet to plug in phones/computer and no where near any furniture. I had moved a table to try to unplug a light to plug in a charger and table about fell apart. The lack of security was alarming. There was a sign in the lobby that said they are doing renovations….. I didn’t see any.

    Let’s get this straight. The staff was AMAZING. I have nothing but good things to say about the staff. Our situation was interesting and the front desk went out of their way to accommodate us, make things go faster and still make sure our stay was good. The hotel does need some touch ups. The rooms are spacious. The area is sketch. The hotel is being used for those who lost their homes in the hurricanes so not all rooms are available. We booked a suite and could not get the suite due to this. Somehow we were able to book the suite although someone was already staying in it. The front desk did give us a discount on a king room. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The hotel does feel like an apartment complex due to the folks living there. Just needs some general cleaning and up keep and this could be a great hotel.

    They are doing some remodeling and it appears to be coming out great. Had a 3 night stay and no complaints at all. Me, the wife and a 6 year old. The staff there are all kind and helpful from the moment we walked in until the time we left. The breakfast was above what we were expecting both in quality and options. It was really great. The room was bigger than average and the shower was good. For being that close to the airport it was remarkably quiet. Lots of ice machines and plenty of vending available for a good price. All in all we have no complaints. Thank you for a great stay!

    We were told the property suffered from the hurricanes, well that was a lie. This property is very old, the fan in the washroom did not work, I looked at it and it didn't look like it was serviced for years. They did just install new carpet in the hallway. This is a very dated facility and subpar for the average traveler. They did have the breakfast area looked after and the lady doing it was great. Staff at the from desk tried to be helpful but they don't have much to work with as the building is a 1 on a scale of 1-10 with 10 being the best. Very disappointed.

    This property was so disgustingly filthy, I would not walk on any of the carpeting in bare feet. The whole hotel reeked of marijuana. The sink had no stopper, there was no shampoo, wash, gloss, or stopper in the sink. Had we not arrived at 7:30 and had a flight out at 5am, we would have left. Expedia should take it off its website.

    From the moment we walked in the lobby there was an overwhelming smell of marijuana. I figured it was just there, but no it was upstairs in hallway as well. Room was dirty and bathroom was rusty. If we had not made reservation, paid and it was midnight I would have left and gone elsewhere. VERY disappointed.
